The staff was amazing. Everyone we encountered was cheerful and helpful, from the front desk to the maids. The location was perfect!

The hotel stated that it was a gulf view, but the room was facing the parking lot and you could barely see the gulf. The staff was kind enough to move us down a few rooms closer to the beach, so we could see it a little better. In the new room the sliding door kept getting stuck, so that it wouldn't open all the way. The lamps were stained and one didn't work. The water in the sink wouldn't drain unless you manually pulled up the cover, it wouldn't stay up on its own. I think it just really needs renevations and an honest description of the room view.

The only benefit was that it was on the beach and close to the pier.

The “hotel” had more of a value motel feel. The “gulf view” rooms are far from that. I would definitely not stay here again.

Location was exceptional! Overall the hotel was great. It was clean and staff were kind. Our room in particular was little disappointing. We had to forcefully throw our bodies into door to get room to open, the bathroom door did not close fully, the shower door did not stay closed, there was zero view (which we knew), but all of these things made the $1000 for 3 days seem a little painful. The outdoor amenities were great, although pricey.

We had a wonderful time at the Hilton Clearwater Beach. The entire staff was very welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. The room was up to date and we had a gulf view room with a two chair balcony. In the room we had a very comfortable king bed and there was a mini refrigerator. The hotel is right on the beach and has two large pools. Large beach towels can be signed out from a desk near the beach and pools. The hotel was within an easy walk to many wonderful restaurants. To top it all off we had let the front desk know it was a special anniversary for us, and we were delighted to find a special treat in our room. We would highly recommend this resort and we will definitely be back on our next trip the area.

I stayed here before and had no plans to return. But a last-minute hotel switch (from a different Hilton) brought me back. It was a much better experience this time. The service was great all around. The person checking us in (I wish I could remember his name, but it started with a Y) recognized my loyalty status and gave us a nice room with a view. Looking at the outside, you can tell that the building is older than other nearby hotels, but the room and property were clean and well-maintained with updated decor. The part of the beach where this hotel is located is near perfect. It's close to the boardwalk and plenty of shops and restaurants. My only negatives are along the lines of others' comments: - Though there is a "resort fee", it's rolled into the room rate, and I really wouldn't consider it to be one since you still have to pay for everything you want (breakfast, beach chairs, etc.). - The beach accessories (chairs, umbrellas, cabanas) are $$$. A couple tips: - Don't expect early check-in. The hotel is BUSY so cleaning and turnover take a while. - Double room beds are true double beds, not queens.

This is one of our favorite places to go ! My husband and I spent our honeymoon here a few years ago. This August we came back and brought our family with us and had the most amazing time! I wanna shout out Larry from the restaurant he was our waiter multiple days and he goes above and beyond for his customers!! He is very friendly and welcoming and provides exceptional service !! We will be requesting him on our future visits. Another shout out to Denzel , I had 2 rooms and one of them the A/C stoped working, I wasn’t getting much assistance with getting the issue fixed until Denzel came over to assist he was quick at getting the issue resolved! Denzel and Larry are all about what experience and customer service is supposed to be ! I work as a regional operations manager and train staff on customer service so when I see exceptional service being provided I had to give you guys your flowers !! Great job and we will be back again soon !

We have loved this spot while staying here at the Hilton! Excellent service from Aileen the whole time, and really made our stay even better.

The Hilton Clearwater Beach & Resort Spa is receiving a 4 star only based on the enjoyment I had in Clearwater itself. I went to Clearwater to experience their beach, and I was fully satisfied. White sand beach and the water, sooo warm, that was awesome coming from up North where the water is cold! I am not sure why the Hilton is named a Resort & Spa. If a venue is a resort, then the money you spend should include more than a coffee maker in your room and water. Holiday Inn offers you that. I don't like the fact that you are nickeled & dimed for everything. I was expecting to pay for beach chairs & umbrellas, again, if you are calling yourself a resort, why isn't that complimentary. Nonetheless, you are charged for that and on top of that, you cannot sit where you please. Two of my friends were about to purchase the items and they were told the chair would be in the back row, far from the actual water. Needless to say, they did not purchase. You should at least be able to sit where you please, close to the water if you'd like. Another thumbs down was our rooms when arriving were not ready. Thankfully, John at the check in desk was nice enough to waive our parking fee for the stay! All in all, my visit was good, again, based on the location of the hotel, walking distance from shopping and restaurants and the beach lovely. I would return to Clearwater, however, not to the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa.

Aileen and Dillon are the best bartenders in Clearwater! Hugo spritz (Aileen) and espresso martinis (Dillon)were made perfectly! They were super friendly and gave us a dinner recommendation for our best meal at the beach! Go visit them!

This is my first time in Clearwater and I will come back to this exact location and property. The hotel was clean, updated, and has every amenity I could need. I used the spa, the restaurant, the beach tiki bar. Every interaction with staff has been pleasant and many have gone above and beyond. Special shout outs to Estrella and Larry in the restaurant and Justin in the spa. I've had massages all over the world and the only one that beats his is in Paris at the Four Seasons. Locally, you can walk around and find a restaurant or bar for every type of person/group. I ate well and never felt like getting places was difficult. I'm already planning on bringing my young adult adult son and his girlfriend for a family trip.

Awesome place to stay. I cant talk highly enough about ALL OF THE STAFF! They were amazing especially Jamael he went out of his way to help us & so nice! The room was clean, bed comfy and a great ocean view. We didnt go to the restaurant or bar inside but looked nice. We went to the bar across the street i forget the name but i highly recommend the food was great & drinks.The pools were amazing & the outside bar as well. Absolutely love that your steps away from Clearwater Beach!! The chairs & cabanas you have to rent obviously&pricey but we had our own. The only thing we didnt like at this hotel was all the added on fees & should have a option if you dont want to valet!!Your room will start out around 269.00 but trust me it adds up to be about 400.00 a night. The valet you have to get 40.00 fee, there is 2 different state taxes they add on, and some other fees i forget about 100 extra bucks or more just keep that in mind. But we loved the ocean view so much & had a thunderstorm the first day so decided to stay again just moved down a floor still having a view.Its a perfect location right next to the pier ferris wheel & right on Clearwater Beach you cant get any closer!

The beach was right outside, and I thought that was pretty cool! The staff was GREAT! They went above and beyond for me! The staff really helped make the trip come together the best they could. The people that work here are the absolute best!

The view wasn't what I had expected. I thought my room would face the beach, but I could only see the beach to the right. Most of what I was seeing was other buildings. The building looked good but the details of the room showed disrepair, like the broken counter top in the bathroom. The prices in the shop are extremely expensive VS the shop on the pier.

Hilton Clearwater is my new favorite place! It has everything you need and the staff was amazing! Chris was my favorite! He was fun and made the experience at Tommys Tiki bar! I recommend asking for him by name! Our bartender was also great! I love this place and highly recommend! A+

We stayed for a few days in Hilton Clearwater and I just want to compliment a few employees who made our stay memorable. Andrew from their team that work on the beach. We used for nonmotorised rent which was free and received great service with a smile. John from Front desk explain to us all benefits and was nice and friendly. Taylor from their restaurant was nice as well.

Don't spend your money at this hotel, looks like a motel, but everything is very expensive. The location is the only good thing, but in the front, there is a bar that starts some shooting started, and the policeman came. The food in the restaurant and the service are good, but don't order breakfast from room service because I was charged 100 for a basic breakfast in a bag; the hospitals have better breakfast. The room was not that clean was dusty, and the carpet was dirty. The lamp was broken, no water in the fridge, the fridge did not make my water cold, and the bathroom shower head was so slow that the water came out very slowly. The room is so small. The three days I was there, they closed the pool each day because of the storm, and there was no rain or thunder. The private beach they have has an umbrella and two chairs; you have to pay $70, and the parking is $40 a day, so expensive. You pay, and they tell me over the phone that that was everything I had to pay, but when I got there, they had 100. Valet parking takes forever to bring your car. But the worst is on the bottom balcony, and the structure of the hotel is falling apart, not providing any safety to clients. Safe your money and go to any other hotel in clearwater because in here is like a motel, and you're paying for a luxury hotel with the prices.

The Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort is steps away from the white sandy beach and Pier60. I enjoyed my trip except for the fact that I received a telephone call at 1am from the hotel. I couldn't sleep after that. The staff told me they were going to investigate, but nobody called me back. I was switched to another room on a different floor. I read Tony's comment about how he was attacked at the hotel and couldn't celebrate his 50th birthday. Had I read this review prior to booking my trip, I probably would have chosen another hotel. Safety is a priority when traveling especially for women. I would like to stay at a hotel where I can relax and not have to worry about an intruder knocking on my door in the middle of the night or be awoken by a disturbing call from the hotel after midnight. I will more than likely not make a reservation at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort again.

Staff was rude, AMMENITIES broken or dirty. Rooms are way outdated, phone, safe, coffee pot broken. We stayed 5 nights and housekeeper refused to change our sheets on the 2nd night. Due to the location, beach sand travels back to your room with you no matter how well you think you rinse off. Housekeeping doesn't vacuum thoroughly so sand gets in your bed, then they refuse to change the sheets. I had to ask 5 times...finally, due to so many issues, the hotel manager called and I detailed every issue so that it could be addressed. I was comped 1 night. Valet was the ONLY decent staff we encountered and besides what you pay for the hotel...you also pay an additional 40$/day for valet...if you drive, you dont have a choice. So if you stay 5 nights, tack on another 200$! On top of what Booking.com says the total will be. They also charged additional resort fees on top of the 175$ that Booking.com charged. The housekeeper also refused to give me towels the next day when I declined my room to be cleaned bc I already did it. I returned my bath linens to her and asked for more and she gave me only half of what I was supposed to have. I declined services the next day as well and only needed towels refreshed again, she refused to give me washcloths. Told me to call the front desk when she was standing outside my door with the housekeeping cart. We wasted a whole day of our 20th year wedding anniversary trip waiting on ppl to either change the sheets, fix the phone, fix the safe bc the beeper was going off for 20 mins until security arrived, clean the dirty floors. The bathroom shelves under the sink were dusty and dirty, a chair on the balcony was broken, all this after we had switched rooms when we checked in bc the bathroom door was broken, the shower handle on the inside of the shower was broken and there was dust, dirt and hair all over the floor. The 1 night comp didn't make up for all the hassle we dealt with.

We have been in Florida for a week now and the best drinks, by far, are prepared by Aileen at the Coasters bar! She was so nice, made great suggestions, we sat and saw the most amazing sunset from the comfort of the bar and had the most amazing night we had had so far. If you want a quiet night with great drinks, go see Aileen

I wasn’t aware of the 40usd parking charge of tourist tax until check-in totaling 85usd. Payed additional fee for sea view, which mostly consisted on A/C units and roof area. The bathroom door is a sliding door which doesn’t have a lock on it.

Expensive stay then you have to rent lounge chairs and umbrella. You get charged per night even though you’re paying $300 a night. I asked three times for an alarm clock you would think for as much as you’re paying you would think you would have a clock in the room. Staff was not friendly at all or helpful. I just paid $846 for two nights and will NEVER go back or recommend it!!!!! What a freaking ripoff!!!!!!!! The restaurants empty what does that tell you!!!!!

Little dirty, never got toilet paper, you have to pay for beach chairs almost $60 for 2 chairs no umbrella. Was told we could not bring our own beach chairs etc but everyday rode the elevator with people bringing their own chairs and umbrellas
