Loved the stay! Perfect location and the staff was so welcoming and friendly!

The location and set up of the hotel was great, the staff were accommodating.
The room was a little musty, the carpet and doors/cupboards were sticky, in the middle of the night the AC started blowing very hot air, it had to be shut off and turned back on after a few minutes then started to cool back down, we were not informed on using our keys for parking and ended up paying $40 a day for parking, we did get partial refund on that when checking out though.
Location was amazing! Close proximity to the ocean.
The bathroom toilet smelled like urine.
Amazing hotel. Great location overlooking the beach. A lot of the rooms overlook the beach and the sunsets in the evening from the rooms are amazing. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite on arrival which was superb - so much space for our family and two full bathrooms. We had breakfast included with our room - there was so much choice and all of us found something that we liked. Loved the wrist band door keys - so convenient and wish that all hotels used these.
Nothing - this hotel was amazing. Only thing that I thought could be better was that the sunbed discount only applied to one set on the beach but as a family of 5 we needed to get two sets and had to pay full price for the second one.
EVERYTHING. HOTEL LOCATION ON THIS BEAUTIFUL BEACH IS AWESOME. BEACH CHAIRS/SHADE GET A 50% DISCOUNT FOR HYATT REGENCY GUESTS- A NICE ADDED VALUE. HOTE ITSELF IS WONDERFUL, RESTAURANT FOOD AND AMBIANCE THE BEST.
ALL WAS GREAT, HOTEL IS LOCATED ON THE BEACH.

Nothing… all very good
We enjoyed the beach and pool. The room was very comfortable.
It would have been helpful if information on attractions, shopping, and nearby restaurants (besides inside the hotel) was included at check in.
Location is good, staff is friendly.
Tiny room for the high price. I upgraded to a room with a kitchenette and it made the room feel like a cheap studio apartment. The fridge was in the hallway. It was very disappointing for $600/night!! The carpet was disgusting. It felt wet. No door to the room with the toilet is weird. Why put the toilet in its own room without a door? Bed was comfortable but the sheets were stiff like paper and the pillows were horrible. The gym is small and it's right next to the spa. A staff member came in and told my husband to not drop his weights as it's too loud for the spa patrons. Trust me, he wasn't dropping the weights at all but the walls are really thin which is another design flaw. Who has the gym share a wall with the spa where people are getting massages? We rented a cabana one day which was also disappointing. The cabanas are more like covered, completely shaded lanais. They get no sun and you're not permitted to pull the chairs out at all into the sun as it blocks the walkway. So we paid for a cabana but laid out on chairs that were 100 feet away from it. That was a big fail for us. What you're essentially paying for is a mini room with a toilet, sink, small fridge, and a small inside sitting area. Wait staff was nice. We would not stay there again.
The location was great! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.
The bed was ever uncomfortable, but that may be a personal preference.
Very clean, great location, friendly and helpful staff, all was great.
All was great!
Pool was to cool. Lots of people (Moms) saying it was too cold. Told the pool people, didn't make any difference. Ocean was warmer Only complaint

The stay was great! The staff was very kind and attentive, and the hotel was nice and clean. When they found out I was celebrating my master’s graduation, they congratulated me and even offered us breakfast, which was such a thoughtful touch. The breakfast buffet was a great value with lots of options, including delicious made to order omelets. The beach is right across the street, which was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again!
Honestly, nothing major. We had a very pleasant experience overall.
Excellent location!!! Clean and well taken care of resort. Staff was super friendly and helpful
My only complaint would be there were only 2 elevators for each side of the resort so you did have to wait a bit at times although this wasn't a huge deal I could see it being more of a nuisance during really peak season.

Check in was a mess, had to switch rooms second day because I booked two rooms together- sent booking notification they needed to be conjoined or close and then called the property as well. They didn’t even know I booked two rooms and had them at first completely on other sides of the hotel towers. Bed very uncomfortable- pool deck very messy

Great location
We had to pay fees on top of our reservation and we also had to pay for parking for the week. Be ready to pay a security deposit that you don’t get back when you arrive of $343 plus almost $200 for parking. They told me Id get $343 back when I check out but I didnt.
Location. The pool and amenities
La ubicación sin dudas lo mejor. El hotel cuenta con todo lo que se necesita.
The hotel was absolutely amazing. The views were incredible, the service was amazing, the beach was outstanding! This hotel in my opinion is a must stay if traveling to Clearwater Beach and I would feel honored to stay here again with my family!
The staff at the front desk, who both checked me in and out, was welcoming, helpful, and exuded the professionalism that resonates well with Globalists. Accordingly, I would not hesitate to recommend this property to my Globalist colleagues and others. The property has excellent views and has a convenient/central location. The parking garage is integrated into the property, and the overall aura of the property is wonderful.
Pleasantly surprised with this property as it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is in an ideal location - walking distance to many shops, bars and restaurants and a super convenient market (Surf Style) right next door to stock up your fridge and cabinets. The rooms are very clean and everyone is super friendly. There is a Starbucks right across the street but there is also a small coffee/snack shop on the second floor that serves Starbucks coffee. Really nice rooftop pool and bar as well as a sunset terrace. The onsite restaurant, SHOR, was also wonderful. Great service, modern atmosphere and great food. I have a daily allergy and they were very attentive and accommodating to my dietary needs. (Thank you!) But what really made this property standout for us was the accommodations and customer service. When we checked in our room wasn't ready. They gave us access to use the hotel amenities while we waited, which wasn't very long at all. As appreciation for our patience and understanding they upgraded our accommodations from a Premier Queen Room and Ocean View and Kitchenette and gave us an adjoining King Room Ocean View and Kitchenette and Living Room in addition to the other room. It was spectacular and really enhanced our stay. Then our flight was cancelled on the way home and we needed to stay another night. They were able to accommodate us for the extra night in the same upgraded rooms no questions asked (thank you Beth from Pittsburgh - you were so understanding and helpful!). Not only do they make you feel wanted as a customer but they respect you as a customer. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.
How clean the facilities and room were. Spacious room with well equipped kitchenette.
Pool is a little small for how big the property is. Jacuzzi is for 4 people maximum and very outdated. A la carte breakfast was not great for the price.
Walking straight to beach
Hard to find food or water after midnight
The layout of the roof top terrace was nowhere close to Booking.com’s description. It was not ocean front it was 1 room back. My balcony looked over the corner room I thought I booked. The gazebo top was missing from a hurricane 2 yrs ago. The room layout was awful with bed and bath on opposite sides with kitchen in the middle. No walk in shower like the room described but a really tall tub and only a towel bar to hold onto. The hotel said “ they did not know how you were posting it.” Your both a disappointment
Really clean
Clean, quality hotel with excellent amenities. Convenient to beach and other restaurants. SHOR restaurant cuisine is creative and delicious.
The best photoshoot ever! Mauricio was very professional and put a lot of effort into our photos. Would definitely recommend!!!🥹
Mauricio from the sunset pictures was great and gave us tips on how to pose. Really recommend!
Location was great, beach was great,
room was not so great, view was top of parking lot (bad), you should mention this inn your description of the room choice. only 2 towels, 1 washcloth after checking in. There was 4 of us staying here. toaster did not work, only a few glasses and silver ware, room was definitely not ready even though they said it was. Cleaning service is definitely not doing their job. Things need to be upgraded.
Muito boa opção em ClearWater! A localização é ótima e o quarto é bastante confortável.
O café da manhã deixou a desejar um pouco! Esperava mais para o padrão Hyatt que experimentamos em outros hotéis da rede.
This has been our 4th stay in a year. My favorite resort on Clearwater Beach. Amenities, pool, hot tub, food and beverage. I have no complaints! We will be back soon!
When I booked online for our Honeymoon I looked through multiple websites to find the best deals in the area. When I looked at booking.com it listed our stay as $1375 and some change. When I checked the direct website it came out to around the same price but with 20% discount for early booking. I checked to make sure I wasn’t missing anything before booking. When we checked in we asked about parking and was told we had to pay the same rate as beach goers using the garage which was weird to me because online it said I received a parking pass that was included in the price. I was also told there would be a $400 hold on my card in case of damage and would be refunded if there was none. We left the room clean and undamaged the entire stay. We even refused housekeeping except for towels. That night we went back down to ask a different employee about the parking pass after looking over the website again. She told us we should have received a parking pass with our stay. We received a pass. All was good until check out. I was given a printed off receipt that stated our bill was fully paid ($1,375 and some change) and our balance was $0. Today I got a notice that I was charged $385 and change from said hotel with an updated invoice of 1,735 and change. They charged us multiple times for the same amount and description. We called right away and they tried to blow it off that “that’s the cost of the resort” but it was NEVER disclosed to me at purchase, check-in, or check-out. I pushed about it not being disclosed and given a different receipt at checkout. Unfortunately by this time I had already cleared out my purse and cannot find said receipt. They said they would send it to their Audit Investigation team and I would hear back in 10 days. I also called Discover, my credit card company and was told I cannot dispute until those 10 days are up. This is a completely fraudulent way to charge customers under the Florida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act where businesses must disclose all mandatory fees before you book. Charging surprise fees after you leave violates consumer protection laws.
I have stayed at this hotel for many reasons business pleasure and wedding anniversary with and without children. It is a very enjoyable experience and the surrounding area provides all the amenities that one needs to stay Within a half mile of the hotel. The rooms are upsetexceptional and a staff very helpful. The restaurant and the food is outstanding.
Staff was great, check in and out was simple. Rooms were spacious with a kitchenette. Location was also perfect. Access to washer and dryer was a great addition.
Awesome stay. Room was clean. Resorted was family friendly. Easy beach access. Walking distance to several restaurants and bars.
We spontaneously decided to have our pictures taken on vacation. Very happy we did.
Good choice. Near the beach

Hotel is nice; location is Great.. just over the road to the beach.
Hidden fees.. Hotel chargers $ 36.00 to self park or $ 40.00 for Valet parking. Well the car park is a nightmare literally so i had to go w valet parking since the difference is really not that much. But then after checking out to my surprise Hotel chargers another Resort fee at $ 35.00 per day plus tax which we were not made aware of upon reservation. See bill pic below.. thats on top of Booking fee ! Booking.com should also made this clear to customers.
This is a beautiful resort and a great location on Clearwater Beach. We enjoyed the room and stay overall, but the food was disappointing. Prices were high for the value. We had to pay for beach chair rental, while the resort next door included the chair rentals for their guests. We would go back, but know what you are paying for, and expect additional charges.
The 2 bedroom ocean front suite was absolutely amazing! The view from our balcony was priceless. We will definitely be returning.
Not a fully furnished kitchenette. Didn’t even have a pizza cutter and when asked to borrow one from staff they brought up another steak knife. Not enough dishes for 4 and the hot tub wasn’t very warm/bubbles were not working
The stay was good, everyone enjoyed the room, very spacious, in the middle of everything.
It was very clean. The room was nice and the pillows were amazing!
The front desk could’ve been more welcoming (the female).
Nice family friendly hotel. Clean, friendly and accommodating staff. Nice relaxing vacation. Hotel is clean, but n need a an update.
Wonderful experience. Great location, excellent amenities, and extremely helpful staff. We will definitely be back.
Customer service was atrocious. we entered our room, noticed a whistling sound from air getting sucked out of the room through a gap at the bottom of the front door. We called down prior to unpacking, to see if we needed to switch rooms or if it could be fixed. They said to stay there they would send someone up. We waited 45 minutes trapped in the room and called again. They said they’d try to send someone up. Engineering came up and looked at the issue for 30 seconds and said he’d be right back. We waited another hour (we were going to take our kids out that evening but couldn’t), and called again. They said they’re looking for the piece the door is missing and to hang tight. At 9:30 pm we called again and said we were going to bed in this room, our two small kids were up way past their bedtime stuck in a room on a wasted evening, and now have been up way too late which affected the following day. We told them the issue wasn’t fixed and we were unhappy and they said they’d try would fix it in the morning. They never came back and never brought it up to us again. We ended up plugging it with towels for the whole stay. At checkout, I was comped our parking as if it was a standard nuisance that would be fixed with a 10% discount. We won’t be returning and have already advised others to try other options as well.
Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach was absolutely wonderful! Everything was spotless and so well maintained. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every single employee we encountered had a smile on their face and was genuinely friendly. You just don't find that kind of kindness everywhere these days, and it really made our trip special. The food was delicious, and the presentation was just as impressive. You could tell that a lot of care went into every meal. From check-in to check-out, everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you to everyone at the Hyatt Regency for making our vacation so memorable. We can't say enough good things about our experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Clearwater Beach!
Breakfast was very good
On the picture it looks like it’s right on the beach, but you need to cross the road to get there so that was very disappointing. Also, you need to pay extra for the beach chairs and umbrellas.

My wife and I spent a week here at the Hyatt Regency Resort for our 22 Wedding Anniversary. Everything was better than expected. The front desk staff, the Shor Restaurant staff and the housekeeping staff were all exceptional.
Pleasant and relaxing. My favorite place to get away and disconnect from work and stress. Best place to reboot. The sunsets make you forget about the rest of the world.
Everything
I loved everything
Was very pleased with our overnight stay, the room was beautiful and clean. The location is perfect, steps away from the beach. The pool was also very cool and well maintained. the hot tub on the top floor was small and a bit lame, could be so much more up there. Overall 4.5 stars.
Beachfront location
This hotel was in the perfect location and walking distance to everything. The beach was easily accessible using the crosswalk. Room was a nice size for 5. However, the room needed some minor updating. Room does not include a dishwasher even though I called and was informed that it did. Our particular room only had place settings for 3 and were minimal and included one small pot and one pan. You will want to purchase paper plates, silverware to meet your needs. Our family would stay at this resort again. The hotel area was beautiful, quiet, and updated. The private balcony was a plus. We would stay here again in the future.
Everything was excellence close to beach rooms were big clean
I liked everything
The location was very accessible to the beach, boardwalk, pier and surrounding restaurants. Trolley stops were also near the Hyatt. The room was clean and spacious. They do not have secure elevators to avoid outsiders but seem safe in the area. We did have the laundry on our floor although they have only one washer and one dryer operating from 8a-8p, it was functioning well. They have separate elevators for the parking which also caters to the public aside from overnight guests. Beach is across the boardwalk, not a deal breaker. The white sand was groomed every morning. Nice place. I recommend this hotel and will definitely be part of my go to Hotels for Clearwater.
Marisso did an amazing job with our family pictures. He really listened to our ideas and took his time with us. He spent more time with us and did a great job editing our photos.
Property is beautiful. Staff is great and the overall day was amazing. I would highly recommend and I will be back.
Staff was outstanding. The rooms were mostly excellent. Location was great. Restaurant breakfast was very good
We expected more, especially because we paid a lot of money to stay in a premium room. The room was generally clean (with some exceptions) and the view was amazing but the room was tired. There was no AC in the bedroom, only a fan covered in thick dust. Both TVs had panel damage which made trying to watch the World Cup interesting (forget paying $25 to watch an on demand movie). There was zero shade provided on the rooftop terrace (although a gazebo is shown in the pictures, it was long gone, leaving weird columns behind that served no purpose.. however, there was a table that has a hole for an umbrella, but it didn’t have one. We also had to clean the outside furniture before using it. The terrace wasn’t particularly clean and had a very old cigarette stub in plain sight, which was strange given we were on the highest terrace. I guess the long and short of it is; if you pay for a premium experience, don’t expect a premium experience. Which is unfortunate because the location is amazing and the potential of rivaling any 5 star hotel is there given some investment in the rooms and the staff.
Great beach pics. Nice guy and got the pics to us fast
So much fun!! Carlos was great and was willing to do all kinds of poses! We loved it!

Great location for our conference (FIAIA)! Close to all the food and drink locations and of course the beach! Great staff and amenities. The rooms are spacious and well kept, with a wonderful housekeeping staff. Catered events were very well done from the perspective of location, food, and servers.
Very clean and calm
Everything was perfect here
Location and the room was decent
The cockroach in the kitchen and The fact that I prepaid for my room and when I got there they did not have any of those rooms available! So they lied to me and told me they gave me a free upgrade which I did not want that upgraded room but had no choice!
Back to Back 4th of July vacations at the property and every year we have excellent experiences. Great staff, amenities, food and location can not be beat.
Best place we’ve ever stayed! They were attentive, extremely nice and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. , I didn’t have to carry around a credit card and just charged everything to my room. If we decided to have lunch or drink by the pool. It was great! Their pool is awesome! Rooms are cleaned every day and free water is also given every day. We will be back. I am all so extremely picky when it comes to hotels.
Stayed here for three nights over the July 4th weekend for our annual girls' trip, and overall we had a great stay! A special shoutout to Diego at the front desk—he was so warm and welcoming, greeting us with a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival. We arrived before check-in, and although our suite wasn't ready yet, he happily stored our luggage so we could start enjoying the pool right away. We were a group of five staying in a one-bedroom suite with two queen beds, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, and balcony. The layout was perfect for our group and one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Having two bathrooms made getting ready so much easier! The living room sofa pulled out into a bed, which wasn't the most comfortable, but it was manageable for three nights. It would be great if the hotel considered replacing the mattress or adding a mattress topper. The only maintenance issue we encountered was that the sink in the main bathroom drained slowly. It wasn't a huge inconvenience, and we meant to mention it at checkout, but our 5 a.m. departure made it easy to forget. For the hotel's reference: Room 1206 could use a sink check in the main bathroom. Although we didn't cook (we were on vacation, after all!), the kitchen seemed well-equipped with a pot, pan, dish soap, sponge, paper towels, and place settings for four. There was also a Keurig with K-Cups provided, plus a refrigerator with an ice maker—a big plus! Housekeeping also stocked the fridge daily with four complimentary bottles of water. We also took advantage of the brunch buffet at Shor, the hotel's restaurant, and there was a great variety of options, including an omelet station, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, juices, and more. The location was another major reason we booked this hotel. It was an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and Pier 60 for the gorgeous sunsets. The beach is directly across the street, where you can rent chairs and umbrellas, making beach days incredibly convenient. The pool was on the smaller side, and on the Fourth of July it definitely felt crowded. It didn't help that a few guests brought oversized pool floats that took up a lot of space. We also would have loved to see more umbrellas or shaded seating around the pool. There are only two pergolas, so unless you claimed one of those lounge chairs early, you were sitting in the full Florida sun. The pool bar also offers a daily happy hour from 5–6 p.m. with half-off beer and wine, although we were a little disappointed that frozen drinks weren't included. On the evening of July 4th, we attended the hotel's rooftop BBQ event, and it was definitely worth it. There was a DJ, delicious food, and a fantastic view of the fireworks over Clearwater. We were welcomed with a Chinola cocktail, which was tasty, although I have to admit I preferred the champagne we received at check-in! The buffet featured classic BBQ favorites like mac and cheese, baked beans, BBQ chicken, and brisket sliders. It was a fun and convenient way to celebrate the holiday without having to deal with the heavy traffic in the area. Overall, this hotel was a great choice for our girls' trip thanks to its spacious suite, unbeatable location, friendly staff, and thoughtful amenities. With just a few minor improvements, it would be even better. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family and would happily stay here again.
Only the view
Most of the stuff like the cleanliness at the hotel and the staff they said me they will arrange something special for my child first birthday we waited but nothing has been done
I stayed here with family the week leading up to July 4. The resort had everything you needed. Location of the hotel put us close to everything. The size of the room was impressive. The room- I stayed in a 1 BR suite and it felt like I was staying in a villa. I even googled to find out if this property was ever a timeshare. Surprisingly the answer was no. We made use of the 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen and spacious living room. Everything was functional and fine. The sofa is a but worn but not a deal breaker. The kitchen is a little light with kitchenware but we made due. I did ask for a frying pan and one was promptly brought to the room. The resort - Again, had everything you needed. There were activities, a pool, access to the beach across the street, easy access to pool towels, a hot tub, restaurants and a kids activity room. I also appreciated the public space in the hallway on the way to the beach that had some tables, chairs and electric outlets. It was a nice place to catch up on work. We also made use of the free laundry. You'd think one set of washer/dryer per floor would not be adequate but we didn't have to wait when we were ready to wash a load of clothes. Staff is very friendly. They started to remember our food orders and went out of their way to make things right. For instance, the AC was not working properly and we called maintenance twice. It was finally fixed after the 2nd visit and we were provided a credit to our room for the inconvenience. These gestures go a long way. Location - the hotel is close to everything and a few minute walk to the pier, the beach, many restaurants, shops, and area to board cruises. We didn't feel like we needed a car to go anywhere. Bottom line- Hyatt Regency is a great hotel, especially for families. We had no complaints. We would come back again.
Great location, staff very helpful
Nothing!
Went here for a 1 night getaway and ended up getting ripped off Booked through Priceline and it went bad almost immediately. Resort fee, Self parking fee of $36 but Valet $40 and a $75 dollar incidental hold. Laid down my Credit Card and that is where the problems really started We booked a double queen for my wife and adult daughter. They gave us a king. When I called they said another room was not available so I consented to a rollaway bed Someone decided to charge a $93 meal to our room. Apparently very easy to do. We rented a beach chair for $20 and had to add a mandatory $8 40% tip. Then 2 dayafter they charged us again. When I noticed our bill was doubled on my CC statement and called the hotel they initially took the stance the charges were valid. After investigating and some argument they did refund the $93 dollars for the meal but flatly refused to refund one of the double charges for the chair. Nick the manager read me the bill and tried to insist they only charged me once despite it showing on my bill and a separate charge on my CC. There is absolutely no control of someone just using your room number and if they do they don’t care to check and hope the unsuspecting guest doesn’t catch on. Shame on you Hyatt was a loyal customer to your brand and have stayed at many of your hotel I guess Marriott gets my business going forward since you obviously don’t want it per your manager Nick
The space in the room was good.
The toilet was leaking, they supposedly said it was fixed but it wasn’t… The smell in the room was very bad, I want to believe it was because we had a kitchenette…
Location, cleanliness
Nothing
I liked that everything I needed was close. Restaurants, liquor stores.
Didn’t like where my room was located. The view of the parking garage and an abandon hotel wasn’t a good view . The bathroom tiles in the cracks needs cleaned.
location is good property is good
We bookee two queen beds. they gave us a king stating that there is a sofa bed but apparently sofa bed was not comfortable at all to sleep and someone did not sleep all nighy we are so disappointed. This ruined our plans and ruined our next say
Room was clean. Bed comfortable and location was the best.
Liked everything
The property was beautiful! Perfect location on the beach and all the amenities were wonderful!
There was nothing we didn’t like!
Maybe choosing the summer to go to this hotel was not a good idea. I thought it would be an incredible pool and beach experience. the Beach and Pool were way too crowded and the pool was not managed and overcrowded. It was an accident waiting to happen. Adults were throwing kids into the pool in the deep end, so there was no room for anybody else to get in the pool that didn’t have children. Kids were jumping in on their own even on the sign says no diving.
It is beautiful and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and all the employees were very nice and helpful.
Nice location near the beach
That you have to pay for sun beds and parasol at the beach
We love the pool on the 8th floor
We had a horrible view from our room. And the resort did not seem as clean
The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach is a great hotel in a great location. You are in walking distance to many restaurants, the beach is directly across the street, parking in the parking garage is easy and the pool area and pool bar on the rooftop is the best with a view of Clearwater Beach.
Absolutely loved the hotel. My husband and I came and stayed for our birthday week. It's in a convenient location amongst Clearwater beach. They offer the best amenities with the gorgeous pool on the 8th floor. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond upon checkin.
This was my first solo trip and it was amazing! Book the trip and book the room. This resort/hotel was a 15/10. The staff was friendly and helpful.. the spa was amazing.. The hotel is something like I've never seen before. It was extremely well kept and so fun. It felt extremely safe for a solo trip/getaway experience. I can't imagine staying anywhere else if I came back to Clearwater.
Great time at Clearwater Beach. This is one of the best beaches in the country. The Hyatt is the place to stay. Large ocean front rooms, just steps from the sand.
