They need better communication to emails. We email them twice about transportation, and they never responded back. Other than that, this place is an excellent place to stay at.

The property has 1 pool, no hot tub or 2nd pool, which was filled with algae. The room was in an unused or older part of hotel. The beds were a sheet over plywood, worst beds we slept in all of Thailand. The breakfast was nothing much and they only made 1 pot of drip coffee, if it ran out good luck. There was 1 pillow per bed and 1 towel, nothing more. The lights by beds were non-existent or not working. No help from front desk at anytime to sort out complaints. Dont waste your time or money here, much nicer and cheaper places in Ao Nang. It was the worst hotel in all the 10 different ones we visited during our trip. Zero stars. We checked out early and moved to a much better hotel.

Très joli resort situé dans un jardin à l'écart de l'agitation de la ville bien qu'en étant proche. Jolis bungalows standards rénovés, très bon petit déjeuné en buffet,navette pour la plage toutes les heures et super resto thai un peu plus bas dans la rue sur la droite ;-))

Vi hade myror och små ödlor inne på rummet. Blev viten av myrorna flera gånger under natten både jag och min dotter.

해변과는 멀리떨어져있으나 무료셔틀버스를 운행해주어서 불편하지않아요.호텔을 나무등 숲에둘러싸여 있어서 새소리등등 들을수가 있어서 편하게 쉴수있읍니다.직원분도 친절하시고 수영장도 맘에 들어요

De kamers zien er gewoon goed uit alleen vond ik dat onze kamer stonk naar rioolering(andere kamers niet). Ik vind het ook jammer dat het hotel niet kijkt naar details bij het schoonmaken, In de badkamer randen veel schimmel, beddengoed niet fris en veel vlekken op de muren van dood geslagen mosquitos. Voorderest het personeel is aardig, ontbijt is gewoon goed, locatie goed(wel20minloopafstansvancentrum) zwembad vond ik super!!

Kompleks bungalowów położony ok. 15 min spacerkiem od plaży Ao Nang. Okolica hotelu jest przepiękna - bardzo zielona i zadbana. Przepiękny widok z basenu na okoliczne wzgórza. Przechadzają się tu małe kotki, więc miłośnicy zwierząt oszaleją. Wychodząc z hotelu do pierwszej ulicy od razu zaczynają się sklepy, knajpy i bazary, więc spacer do centrum jest całkiem przyjemny. Polecam dopłacić i wybrać bungalow w trochę lepszym standardzie, bo domki standard są dość ciasne i na pewno starsze. Polecam także bufet śniadaniowy. Hotel zapewnia darmowy transport do plaży Ao Nang co każdą pełną godzinę od 8 do 20. Obsługa komunikatywna i życzliwa. Nie spotkało nas tu nic nieprzyjemnego. Polecam.

Viihdyimme hyvin hotellissa, vihreä ympäristö, allasalueet ja sisätilat olivat kiitettäviä! Ainut miinus tulee kovasta sängystä/patjasta, johon selkä ei oikein tottunut yöpymistemme aikana. Hotellin ilmaisella autokyydillä oli helppo käydä Ao Nangin rannalla. Pienen kävelymatkan päästä hotellista löytyi useita hyviä ruokapaikkojakin.

We realt enjoyed the peaceful grounds and surroundings at Green View. It is a bit away from the beach but the free transfer helps. We rented mopeds because it gives us more flexibility.

Unbelievably good pools - especially the colder one even my husband went in (he thinks it’s ozonated). He hasn’t been in a pool for 15 years but I couldn’t get him out of this one. Great staff, lovely rooms, lovely grounds, good food. Highly highly recommend.

Amazing garden setting.Lovely staff.lovely breakfast buffet, beautiful view from pool,rooms cleaned every day and tip top clean. It is the most relaxing garden area in ao nang. Super resort with many different type of rooms. The only thing that would stop you from having a relaxed stay is People bringing their loud/crying and screeching toddlers on vacation 😂

As lovely as the place looks the experience is quite different. Room was dirty with condom wrappers near the bed. When room was serviced our cups were just rinsed and put back. The juice residue was still on the bottom of the glasses. On our last day our trash wasn't even removed. The staff were very nice but I would NOT recommend the cleaning staff. As said before the place is visually stunning but everything else was so so.

The hotel has 2 lovely pool areas and is close to Ao Nang town which is lovely. However our room smelled awful of drains the whole time we were there. When we arrived the bedding was also dirty with holes in it. The room was not cleaned very well as there were cobwebs, spiders and lots of bugs. I understand that the hotel can’t help that bugs bite, but we have stayed in many places in Thailand and this hotel was the worst for bites. I wore mosquito repellent, and slept in long sleeved tops and managed to get numerous bites in this hotel regardless, including on my face. The hotel is not great value for money, maybe worth a visit if you get s cheap price.

The room was great, big in size, good size balcony, bathroom and shower great as well, had nice views, breakfast was also very good with lots of choice, would recomend this hotel to any couples or famillies, well impressed 👌👌👌

Great time in this area of Thailand. Only thing is beds are extremely hard at this resort and the room cleaning is alright. Felt like they didn’t change the sheets the whole week we where there..... when I asked for a room change they put me right beside the construction area and it woke me up at 6am every morning. (Not ideal) didn’t even give me a discount or any deal when I brought this up....

Was really hoping for a good experience after seeing photos of this resort. I stayed in a bungalow and had geckos crawling all over my walls and safe. There were also lizards near the pool and on the walls of the hotel lobby. As someone who has a phobia of lizards, this was a terrible experience. Staff seemed to find it funny when I told them but eventually allowed me to change rooms after I complained multiple times. Also found the rooms to be quite dark and bathrooms seemed old. Would definitely not stay here again. Horrible excuse for a vacation.

Really enjoyed my stay, although definitely because of the room, it's worth spending the extra couple of pounds for the economy rooms with wifi. They were very comfortable and modern, so it was enjoyable to stay in. Location was okay as well, a 10 minute walk to the beach, which myself and my boyfriend quite liked because of the amazing street food, but the hotel provides a shuttle bus there and back so it's not an issue either way. Staff were always helpful but at times standoff-ish and cold about enquiries, however we were self sufficient so didn't interact with staff too often. The pools are gorgeous! Breakfast Was basic with not much choice, but again not too bad for a little something. Would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend.

The room looked like in the pictures only it was very dark inside. HOWEVER on Hotels.com it stated in the description that there was TV and Fridge and it was a very basic room like in the old days. I would not recommend this room simpley cause you are at the mercy of other people round you. IF you have neighbors you will hear when they talk,snore and ..ahem do other things... My room had Termites which also ate into our clothes! Apart from that the pool area was what attracted me and everything was really run down ..especially the pool chairs..sooo old and raggedy looking. Although the reception area is gigantic and posh, I feel like the Hotel grounds is an eye sore....nothing matches..so many different buildings and bungalows..no Theme, no flow..everything is mix and match...and again very ugly deck chairs.. Breakfast was ok....but I would not recommend the fan room. For the same price you can have another room with ac, tv, fridge and so on. Staff was friendly and I cant complain. However they said pool hours were till 8pm but you can swim at any time if you keep quiet....I never once saw anybody tending to the pool but I think one evening when we swam someone had just put chemicals in...since my skin started burning and the water was sour like lemon. So be careful. All in all it is ok and they are still improving the place. I was ok till some neighbors next door were talking on the phone all night. BUT i would not book this hotel again.

Great stay

We had mixed feelings about this hotel. When we stayed it was being renovated, adding new modern rooms which looked beautiful and a new pool. We stayed in an older room with an extra lounge area by the pool and though it was comfortable it was a bit shabby and had a caravan park feel. The view is fantastic and the area a little off the main road so quieter and natural. The free shuttle to the beach was great. The service was just ok.

I am still here till 22nd April but it's a nightmare very noisy it will be nice but my holiday is ruined

Staff was super friendly and so helpful

Family room AC did not dry the air so linen felt wet all the time. Warddrobe and toilets were outside so all clothes started to smell bad because we couldn't keep the clothes dry. Also the staff injected every evening some sort of mosquito repellent so anything you kept in warddrobe or in the toilet started to smell bad mosquito repellent. The breakfast was a simple and the same all the time so after a week had enough. Wifi was working quite fine all the time so a plus for that. The stuff was helpful but their english was not very good.

Overall it was a good experience, the hotel was nice set away from the main strip of Ao Nang so was silent at night. You can get a free shuttle every hour from 8-8 which was very useful. The pool was lovely, always enough sun beds. breakfast was OK, plenty of choice for us, the tea was awful, coffee not bad. The staff spoke little English but enough to get by, always smiling and doing their best. Our room was the cheaper of the two bungalows, the aircon worked great, if you have to have powerful showers, this room wouldn't be for you. We had a few 'critters' at night, but when you think its basically in the middle of the forest, it's just one of those things. It has a rather lovely koi pond, a few resident kitties which we befriended and a pond with a fountain. WIFI signal is outstanding everywhere within the hotel, the tv channel signal, was atrocious. Would definitely stay again :)

A few minutes walk to the main road, but not that near ti the beach. Near to Ao Nang mosque. Awesome pool access!! Gorgeous towel fold!!! Great outdoor ambience. Sadly, not all staff are ready to serve you willingly. Decent varieties of breakfast buffet spread.

Lovely resort hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms (but somewhat confusing light switches). 2 pools in nice grounds, reasonable food options available in the hotel but 2 minutes walk to the high road with plenty of food options, massages, and other shopping. Regular free shuttle bus to Ao Nang Beach and ferries to Railay, Phro Nang, and the Islands.

Comfortable room, good breakfast, good wi-fi, nice pool, shuttle every hour to Ao Nang Beach...this place has everything you need. There are restaurants and massage places within a five minute walk, or take the shuttle to the beach (must for sunset), and there are many, many restaurants and shops. Local tours on sale in several nearby locations.

No privacy! Most rooms are located on the common grounds where everyone walks by, even right next to refreshment areas. How would you like to read on your patio while having people eating and parents minding their kids right there in front of you, while others hop into the water bassin and party away right next to your room? That is exactly how it felt. I thought I might relax by the nice swimming pool at least, but nope, there is construction near the entrance and you hear that noise all day! If you want to relax, go to your room, and close the curtains, as anyone walking by is likely to see, or you would see them. But then, it gets worse. The condition of the room itself was terrible, I didn't even. bother unpacking. I don't know what the higher end rooms are like inside, but avoid the regular rooms! The only thing that was ok, and without emphasis, was the included breakfast buffet. To sum it all, I winded up spending as much time outside the resort as possible, returning only to sleep.

The hotel location is ok, not very far from beach and there's a shuttle bus runs hourly to the beach side. The breakfast is also ok, the best I like is the hotel swimming pool, nice view.

Not a great experience - I will contact hotels.com on my return to give full details. Could be an amazing hotel such a shame numerous issues let it down

It was an excellent Hotel for the Price with quiet location, 1 Km from AO Nang Beach. The hotel has excellent breakfast service and very nice swimming pool with the view of green jungle. It is highly recommended for the people who like to stay offbeat from hotel rooms as most of them are bungalows.

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Rooms were spacious, clean, and peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The air-conditioning in our room did not work to our satisfaction and the free breakfast was not at all satisfactory az they did not keep anything stocked, and did not seem prepared for more than 2 people eating at a time. We'd definitely visit this place again.

Nice room and view.

1st hotel we stayed at in Ao Nang. We arrived to a building site, so naturally we were a little confused! It turns a new building is getting built opposite the reception shack. There is a little bit of noise coming from there during the day. The new structure spoils an amazing view. However, once you get around the corner to the pool and bungalow area it can't be seen due to the trees around it and you can forget it's there quite easily, thanks to the amazing view! I didn't like that the reception was not manned 24/7. One early morning around 6am our safe wouldn't work, we were up early to catch a ferry to Phi Phi and we had to wait till 7am before staff arrived to help us open it. Could have been a disaster if you needed an early check out to catch a flight or something. Other than this the staff were very helpful and kind. 15-20 min walk to the beach and 5min walk from some fun bars. Fair price for the accommodation.

stayed in 2 rooms. 1st night in a twin room with fan & Mosquito nets. Room was dim with wooden interior.Large bathroom, good shower & generous toiletries. Then I moved to a bigger unit, with double bed, kitchen with fridge and sink. Still a fan room but no mosquito net. -ve:(1) VERY VERY POOR WIFI.(2)hotel staff uncaring & cold. on my 2nd day, I had waited for the hotel shuttle in town which didn't turn up. staff wasn't concerned that i had to walk at night and only then i was told that i had to pre-book at the reception if i wanted a pick-up in town. this kind of information should have been told to guests up front. Instead i was "shoved" with the notice abt the shuttle service.(3) No safe provided altho it was stated in hotels.com. had to leave my thgs in the front desk office safe along with their own things when i went out (4) No TV altho it was stated in hotels.com. Hotels.com shouldn’t mislead their customers with false information.(5) no place to hang clothes/towel in rooms +ve: (1)Free shuttle service to town, up to 8pm. Must pre-book if u want pick-up back. Street is well-lit, with houses near hotel so it's quite safe. (2) 15mins walk fr Aonang beach-many food stalls, massages & bike rentals along the way.(3) very convenient for Muslims-halal food is aplenty nearby Hotel must improve on HUMAN customer service and poor wifi. As there is no TV in the room, i rely heavily on wifi. Hotels.com must avoid putting information which are untrue in the room description

my stay here was great...rooms layed out good...size is enough...and they have a pool you can relax around...

Stayed in the new block at the back of the complex, room was big, clean and the small balcony stepped into the pool !

The first day we arrived in the resort, we noticed that the reception was just a small cabin far way from the rooms. After we got our room key, we noticed that the safe was blocked. Since the reception was very far away and there was no phone on the room, we decided to hide our wallet in our suitcase and go out to the pool. I counted the money before. The other day I noticed that $100 were missing (600 RMB). I went told to the receptionist, and the owner came and told me that the cleaning ladies have the day off today but I talked to them on the phone and they said that they did not take the money (because there were 2 cleaning ladies cleaning the room). After that the receptionist fixed the safe and we put our money there, including our phones. I told to the receptionist that the room should be cleaned in my presence from that day on. When we checked out, the receptionist gave us $50 and said we are sorry of what happened. I decided to let it go but when I tried to turn on my phone in the airport, it would shut down suddenly( it's a Samsung galaxy). When I arrived home, I noticed that the original battery of the phone was replaced with a fake Chinese one. This was beyond believable, I went to buy a new battery and the phone worked fine. I had left the phone on the luggage along with the wallet. Also, the cleaning ladies were very rude every time they came to clean the room. I do not recommend this hotel.

Clean, comfortable and tidy large room. Staff were very friendly all the time. There is building works going on, as the hotel expands, so expect a lot of noise at the moment. This did not stop us enjoying our stay. The 2 pools were clean with plenty of room to splash or swim. We would definitely return to see what improvements have been made.

It was a great place to stay in Ao Nang. A little bit away from the tourist area but with a free shuttle car service that made it up :)

Really enjoyed our stay. We had been travelling around Vietnam and Cambodia before we arrived and it was the nicest place we had stayed. So comfortable we slept in past lunch our first day. Lovely big bathroom and great space. It had the freedom of an apartment with the extra help of services and pool. Great location, only 15 minute walk to the beach although free shuttle bus was provided. Brilliant stay! Definitely recommend!

My room was ok but too dark and noisy in a rainy night. The hotel pool is the best and can be the main reason of staying there. The hotel is far from the main avenue and main restaurants and about 20 min to beach area.

We stayed in a Thai private Villa and it Was very spacious and comfortable. There were 2 great pools to swim at and it was in very close proximity to the main road where endless food options are available. The beach was a bit far, 20 minute walk or so but there is a free shuttle which the staff had no problem helping you with. My only problem was the mosquitoes as we were in a damper area with lots of trees. But come armed with spray and don't leave your door open and you will be fine.

The resort is a 10 minute walk from the beach and tourist area, they have a tuk tuk that runs every hour into to town and back, I personally like walking by all the restaurants, bars and markets on the way down to the beach area, they accommodated a "island tour" at a very competitive price. There is a new area being constructed, which is where I stayed, and will when I go back, gorgeous new rooms. Oh I almost forgot; breakfast buffet included.

It is a great place, with a nice garden. We only unliked the breakfast, that was very poor, and with no thai food.

Green View was gorgeous and comfortable! It was a great location, away from tourist noise but close enough to walk to it. Great restaurants and little shops within walking distance. Also, up the street was a tourist excursion booking place if you didn't to book with the hotel, the staff was alright, they didn't go out of their way but were helpful when asked. The food was good, it was clean and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again.

buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel was on a quiet street about a mile from the beach, but there was a free shuttle that ran every hour during most of the day. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There was some construction on the hotel during our stay which made it a little noisy. One suggestion for improvement would be to start breakfast about 1/2 hour earlier so that you could get to the beach earlier. We would recommend this hotel to others

The hotel room facilities is bad and not well maintained! The water is borken. Pressure and volume of water is very very low! Guest is not allowed to ask for spare key of the room. Each time the room is lcoked (forgot) to take out, have to walk the receptionist to request someone come to open the room door! The breakfast is not much choices. Belive we can much better room and service paying the same rate in the Krabi town.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in January. Our villa was lovely with a view over the pond. The room was very clean, had air conditioning, fridge, safe, huge comfy bed and a shower. We did not speak to the staff except for checking in and out but they were all polite at breakfast time. The breakfast was typical of our stay in Thailand with a local dish, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, toast and egg station. The pool was lovely and the views from your sun lounger were beautiful. The hotel offer an hourly free transfer service into Ao nang but we preferred the exercise. It was a good 15 minute walk to the beach area. I would recommend this hotel as good value for a mid range hotel. Stayed January 2015, travelled as a couple

we booked standard room for two and the room was so clean with the pool view and mountain view.

I stayed here with my family of 5 for 4 nights in Oct. We booked a family room but a few weeks before our arrival, the hotel said it was 'fully booked' so they offered us a conjoining deluxe room + triple-bed room at no extra charge. The resort was undergoing some expansion. The triple-bed room was lovely but the deluxe room was right beside the renovation site. There was a mild sewage smell coming from the bathroom of the deluxe room which was due to the stagnant water from the construction site leaking through the window (which was just a mesh screen btw). I was not the one staying in that room so it was all good. For breakfast they serve mini pancakes, eggs (you can ask to get it done any way you wish) and toast every day. The only issue is the lack of variety. The service staff was very accommodating and even complied with our small request for half-boil eggs that wasn’t part of the menu. The resort is about half-an-hour drive from the airport and 15 mins by tuk-tuk to the nearest beach. It’s a little off from the beach/shopping areas. Walking is still possible but because we were there during the rainy season it was rather inconvenient. On weekends, there'll be a night market outside the resort selling street food and halal food is easy to come across. Overall my first time in Thailand was wonderful. I'd recommend Green View Village Resort if you're looking for a super affordable place to stay with adequate amenities, friendly staff and 2 cute resident cats (!!)
