It was conveniently located to meet up easily with family staying at The Point. It was comfortable, and clean and bright. Good shower.

As it was situated in the car park it was a little noisy but once the pub had closed there was no overnight noise. As there was no breakfast chef pastries and orange juice were provided daily in the room, which seemed a good compromise, and was explained to us politely with apologies. Unfortunately one day no pastries or juice appeared so we had to walk down to the bakery in Rock to get some breakfast. A nice coffee machine was provided in the room, but no pods to make coffee.

On the whole the Rooms was lovely. Breakfast was unavailable but some pastries were left presumably to replace breakfast. It was lovely to hve the fridge but there was only 1 teaspoon. An extra teaspoon and 2 dessert spoons wd have been useful. A waste bin in the bathroom wd also hve been useful. There was only 1 coat hanger and some hooks on the door for coats wd also hve been useful. The meal in the restaurant was lovely and the staff were lovely and helpful. Overall we did enjoy it but just those little giggles wd hve made it better.

The room was a bit small and we have paid less for a bigger room and have breakfast included for a cheaper price. We were disappointed with our meal in the bar. Waitress messed up our order, no apology and we had 5 dogs in our seating area which we had to step over when going to toilet and leaving. A health and safety hazard and you started to 'smell' damp dog as the evening when on.

Nice quiet room separate from the Inn itself. Next to the fantastic Bluntrock microbrewery and taproom where we spent a very good evening.

Long walk from Rock and the coast.

The place is located conveniently to Rock and the Padstow ferry.

The room was located in the car park of the pub! The rooms finished were scuffed and dirty. No breakfast was available despite being advertised as B&B. The pub only did food until 20.30 so was very limited in the area for food.

Located was where I wanted. Clean tidy room that was perfect for a quick overnight stop

Kitchen in the pub shuts at 8.30pm even during peak August holiday. I arrived at 9pm so had to head down to The Mariners for some food

Could do with a hover every couple of days when you stay for 5 days or more lots of sand , also a small fridge would be a bonus , also check out could be better explain as no one at pub earlier to leave key perhaps a drop box would be good

Room was clean and well provided for

No booking registered at arrival. Made to feel I was lucky that they had a room left. Asked to eat and told they were fully booked and I should try other establishments. Ultimately agreed to be served some dinner in the bar, small menu choice due to havig provided a sunday roast.

Great location, ample parking, great spacious, spotless, modern room. Aircon a bonus with the current weather! Nice touch with free pastries, biscuits.

Excellent stay, comfortable room, fantastic food in the restaurant, welcoming staff, brilliant location a few metres away from Bluntrock Brewery taproom, and a short walk or drive to the ferry across the estuary.

It would have been nice if breakfast was offered

Lovely room. Perfect for what we needed it for. Shower was good and little dressing table for getting ready was ideal.

The location

No breakfast served at the accommodation, even tho there is a breakfast menu on their website, we were given a basket with pastries in packets and orange juice in a carton. The room was dusty, and the bathroom/shower needed a good clean

The room was not cleaned in a tonight stay. There was no bottled water. There is an emergency light in the room which is like having a full blare light. Many complaints will follow by subsequent guests. I am sure much is due to new staff after reopening but they must sort the lighting out. You cannot sleep !

The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

This property has recently changed hands as precious owners went into liquidation. There was no option to have any breakfast as there wasn’t a chef in the mornings. The accommodation is separate to the main building and you cannot even access it until late morning to ask the staff any questions. It is all locked up!

Stay here every time we come for a short break, around twice a year, bar staff superb, food was lovely, big portions room was clean and we love the fluffy towels, great location and close to the bus stop for buses to Wadebridge, port Isaac or Polzeath

Too hot, like a sauna, and the green light over the door kept us awake, so bright, you’ve also took away the fridge, we loved that to keep water and milk so a bit disappointing that had gone but didn’t damper our stay

I thought the meal was very expensive. £12 fior a starter is too much.

It was all ok except the cost of the meal

Room was lovely - not huge but had everything we needed, nicely and freshly decorated, and very clean. Also opened straight on to car park which was useful and handy.

In a perfect world, kitchen might have been open later on a Saturday night - by 21:05 kitchen was closed and no option for food. But not the end of the world, and nothing else to add.

Looked gorgeous from the outside and the inside didn’t disappoint. Rooms comfortable with everything you could need. Very peaceful rooms. Sunday dinner was amazing.

Appreciate St Minver (Rock) is a very expensive area but a room for £164 I think breakfast should be included.

Location, cost, parking and pub

Although location was excellent for my event the noise of road meant for a disturbed sleep. This would be a combination of first night and a light sleeper.

breakfast listed as 09.00 hrs doors not open until 09.00. Then had to wait nearly 40 mins for breakfast to arrive.

Very comfortable room, all clean and well maintained. Staff were all lovely, food was great and all was good value. Nice to be able to choose breakfast items as individually priced. Rooms are separate from main building and very quiet.

Our room (2) has a very bright emergency exit light over door that is in all the time so no good for a light sleeper

The location, our room was really warm and comfortable. It was nice being located next to the bar and restaurant.

Very easy check in and a nice small but well equipped room with lovely shower room en-suite. Breakfast was extra but a really good menu and easy to have what I wanted. All good thank you.

View from the room was poor but for my couple nights stay to see family it was absolutely fine.

The pub served really great food and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The location was brilliant (for what we needed) and we had a great night's sleep.

We could only turn our shower on/off by the pull cord that was by the door which, once we'd worked that out, wasn't a problem, but I'm sure it was meant to work from a button inside the shower cubicle which didn't work.

Extractor fan in bathroom didn't work. There appeared to be air conditioning but there were no instructions on how to operate it. Fortunately we didn't need it.

The room was very well furnished and comfortable. The check in and check out were very easy, and the staff were very helpful at answering all our questions

Not a complaint about the accommodation, but we were let down by the taxi services in the area. If staying here you would need to have your own car

The delicious food, wine, accommodation, location and hotel atmosphere made the experience exceptional!! Highly recommend The Pityme Inn, the owner and staff completed our wonderful stay!

The accommodation needs a better clean, we had to remove a clump of hair from the shower, there was a lot of duct on surfaces and the floors

Good facilities and comfortable beds. Pub food is very good.

Room backed onto the pub garden where people were sitting very close to the bedroom window and the noise was quite loud until 11pm when the pub closed. There are no parking spaces allocated to the rooms, so it is first come first served.

C'è un'attenzione all'ospite curatissima:dal gusto con cui è arredata la stanza, alla qualità degli arredi e suppellettili, una pulizia ineccepibile, prodotti da bagno ottimi e ottime spugne...in stanza, oltre a delle bellissime lampade di design, una sveglia digitale(mai trovata prima in vita mia), l'asse e il ferro da stiro, il phon, un kit di benvenuto con caffè italiano e altri prodotti, e addirittura un ombrello!!!...la colazione, disponibile su pagamento a parte, davvero genuina e gustosissima...personale gentile e disponibile...avremmo voluto trovare più strutture come la vostra durante il nostro viaggio...BRAVI, BRAVI,BRAVI!!

Nice friendly place to stay

Prepaid on arrival and left following morning before reception was open. I emailed twice asking for receipt but nothing came, then I phoned and was promised receipt would be emailed but still nothing. I need to claim the expense with my employer but I dont have a receipt in order to do so.

The staff were friendly and quick to assist. The room was clean and easily accessible. The breakfast sandwich was amazing and a great way to start the day. We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn.

The people staying the night did not have allocated parking so when the pub was full we had no where to park. The people staying the night should have an allocated area as it causes some anxiety if you don't know the area or where you can park.

Food was really good, room was well appointed. Bed was very comfortable and some of the staff were very helpful

Zero soundproofing so I got every word of my fellow guests discussions… wifi barely worked and some of the staff were pretty moody and short. The huge potholes in the parking were less than ideal as well

The room was clean, tidy and well kept, coffee machine was a god send and the shower was one of the best electric showers I’ve ever had. The Food choice was good, although my request for no pickles on the burger was ignored but not the end of the world, and a couple I spoke to who had the mussels said they were brilliant. Slight road noise until around 10pm in the front facing rooms but overall a highly recommended stay over location for Polzeath which is beautiful at this time of year.
