Pour ceux qui ont leur propre véhicule, le stationnement est un peu loin et compliqué à trouver, mais c'est le corollaire obligatoire de la proximité de la vieille ville, et la possibilité de dormir dans un ryad authentique...alors on prend sans hésiter.

Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Riad Alassala Fes und würde das Riad jederzeit wieder buchen. Das Riad liegt sehr gut in der Medina, gleichzeitig sind die wichtigsten Punkte außerhalb der Medina mit dem Taxi schnell zu erreichen. Mein Zimmer war ausgesprochen geräumig und sehr sauber. Das Riad selbst ist im klassischen marokkanischen Stil gestaltet und gehört für mich zu den schönsten Riads, die ich während meiner Reise gesehen habe. Besonders herzlich war der Empfang durch Mohamed, mit dem ich bereits vor meiner Ankunft viel Kontakt hatte. Er hat sich unter anderem um einen Guide für meine Führung durch die Medina gekümmert und mir dabei geholfen, meine Planung an die Besonderheiten des Throne Day anzupassen. Auch während meines Aufenthalts war der gesamte Service ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich jederzeit sehr willkommen gefühlt. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die wunderschöne Dachterrasse. Die Aussicht über Fez ist beeindruckend und dürfte zu den besten der Stadt gehören. Ich habe dort ein sehr leckeres Abendessen bei Sonnenuntergang gegessen und auch an mehreren Morgen meinen Frühstückskaffee mit nach oben genommen, um dort noch eine Weile zu sitzen und die Aussicht zu genießen. Insgesamt ein exzellentes Riad mit viel Atmosphäre, hervorragendem Service und einer außergewöhnlich schönen Dachterrasse. Wenn ich nach Fez zurückkomme, würde ich hier ohne zu zögern wieder übernachten.

The Riad was excellent but the staff were even better - they accommodated all our requirements with a smile. Mohammed, Ibraheem and the rest of the staff were all amazing and the place felt more like a family home. Breakfast was amazing. Our room was a junior suite, we had a double bed, 2 singles and a seating area.

Le Riad est une belle représentation de l’architecture marocaine, très beau et spacieux. Le service était de qualité, ils étaient attentionnés et attentifs à nos envies. Un grand merci à fatim-zahra. L’emplacement est très bien, très proche de l’ancienne médina, idéal pour les visites à pieds.

Le petit-déjeuner pourrait être diversifié, surtout si l’on passe par quelques jours dans le Riad, on se retrouve à manger la même chose tous les matins. Sinon le goût y était !

C’est notre deuxième séjour dans ce magnifique riad, et une fois de plus, nous sommes repartis enchantés. Nous avons eu la très agréable surprise d’être surclassés : nos deux chambres ont été transformées en une suite exécutive et une chambre double, un geste que nous avons énormément apprécié. Le riad est toujours aussi beau, calme et parfaitement entretenu. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour son accueil chaleureux, sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse tout au long de notre séjour. Le personnel est aux petits soins et contribue à rendre l’expérience encore plus agréable. Nous recommandons ce riad sans hésitation et reviendrons avec grand plaisir lors d’un prochain séjour à Fès. Encore un grand merci à toute l’équipe !

街歩きしやすい位置にあり、宿泊者に寄り添った親切な対応をしてくれたリヤド。部屋のベッドメイクも◎。シャウエンまでのバスチケット購入に関して大変お世話になりました。 屋上テラスからの眺望が綺麗で、朝と夕方に気分の良い時間が過ごせました。 朝食は種類も豊富で素晴らしく、夜に食べた鶏のタジン鍋も美味しかった。

Beautiful riad, well positioned as out of all the busyness but near enough to walk to most places. Rooms are large with lovely traditional touches, extremely clean & have good air con. Breakfast is included in the price & is huge! Must mention the staff especially Ali, who is so friendly & helpful. Would highly recommend a stay here.

The building is large and has historic charm. Our best breakfast of two weeks in Morocco!

Rooms are a bit dated but that comes with staying in an old riad!

The Riad was in a great location. We had breakfast on the roof top terrace and it was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and Ali was outstanding!

The staff were amazing. So helpful and welcoming special shout out to Ali and Fatima. The Riad is beautiful and in a quiet part of the Medina. Nice breakfast and terrace. Highly recommend.

With medina gates closing around prayer times it was sometimes hard to get to the Riad or to find it. However with WhatsApp video call, Ali always helped us find our way back.

Zaduch i zapach panujący w pokojach, właściwie bez klimatyzacji ciężko oddychać. Nie polecam dla alergików ponieważ dywany i zasłony nie wyglądają na świeżo uprane. W pokojach dosyć ciemno

Fes şehrinde güzel bir konumda bulunuyor , tarihi şehre 20dklık yürüme mesafesinde. Bizi karşılayan Fatıma Zehra cana yakındı ve çok kibardı, 1 adet büyük oda ve 1 adet tek kişilik oda kiralamıştım. Tek kişilik oda biraz basıktı ve vantilatör bulunuyordu, büyük oda gerçekten büyüktü üst katında da 2 tek kişilik yatak mevcuttu. Sabah kahvaltısı muazzamdı , portakal suyu, çay kahve , kruvasan , yumurta , yoğurt ne ararsanız mevcuttu , kahvaltısına bayıldık. Aynı zamanda restaurant hizmeti de veren bir otel akşam çatı katında akşam yemeği servisi aldık 4 kişi için 1000 dirhem fiyat ödedim, dışarıda daha ucuza da yemek yiyebilirsiniz, biz sakinlik olsun diye burayı tercih ettik. İç dizaynı ve lobisi çok tatlı bir oteldi. Çatı katında akşam vakti tüm camilerden ezan okunan ana denk geldim, fesi büyüleyici kılan bir andı. Otelin manzarası çok güzeldi. Feste kalmak için tavsiye edebileceğim bir yer oldu.

Beautiful riad in a great location. The restaurant is fantastic and eating the rooftop at sunset with awesome views is incredible. Ali, the manager is so helpful and friendly.

Location was great for the Medina. The staff were excellent. They were very helpful and friendly.

The room size was passible but the bathroom was below the standard I expected. No separation between the toilet and the shower meant once you showered the whole toilet area was wet. The bathroom sink was on the verge of falling apart. The room was also noisy. We could hear all the noise of people walking up and down the stairs outside our room.

That we could not order more food for breakfast. We asked for more bread and were told it is counted which was a bit awkward.

Ali and Mohamed were both excellent, Ali in particular was very attentive and helpful. The room was fine (I only paid for the budget room!), the location was great. The breakfast was delicious. I had dinner one night at the Riad too and that was wonderful as well.

The bathroom in the small room is tiny, but everything worked and it was clean!

The riad is very well maintained and in a great location. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful. Ali was great helping to arrange taxis for me. I would highly recommend the Riad Alassala Fes.

Beautiful riad with an authentic Moroccan ambiance and stunning decor. Great for pics! The rooftop and overall atmosphere made the stay feel peaceful and special. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming, and truly made the experience memorable. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious, and the dinners were amazing with beautiful traditional Moroccan touches. The hospitality and service were exceptional — the staff were attentive, communicative in English, and always happy to answer my questions and give me helpful tips on navigating and shopping in the old medina. I woould recommend this for anyone and I will stay again.

The central space was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was good but not as good as some of the other Riads we stayed in.

The interior of the riad is beautiful. The staff is very courteous, respectful and very eager to assist in any way possible. Fatima, Ali, and Mohammed made us feel right home from the minute we arrived until we left.

I have nothing bad to say, my family and I enjoyed every minute.

La maison est magnifique, beaucoup de cachet. Propreté irréprochable, et surtout le personnel d’une gentillesse incroyable, mention spéciale à Ali. Petits déjeuner et dîners délicieux.

J’avais une petite chambre single très sobre : pas de problème avec cela, mais le matelas est très dur, l’oreiller aussi. La salle de bain est spartiate même si cela suffit pour faire sa toilette, mais un lavabo plutôt qu’un lave mains serait bienvenu, et rénover la douche serait bien. Odeur d’évacuation dans la douche.

Our hostess Fati went above and beyond to help us with transportation and recommended an amazing tour guide who helped us see as much as possible in Fes and Meknes in just one day. Mohamed was also incredibly helpful, preparing breakfast bags for us to take since we had to leave very early. The riad itself was absolutely gorgeous. We truly felt welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay.

As a small suggestion for improvement, slightly brighter lighting in the room and bathroom would be helpful, especially when getting ready or doing makeup, but overall it was only a very minor detail.

Le quartier n’est pas safe

Riad Al Assala é una bellissima oasi di paradiso all'interno della medina. Il luogo é meraviglioso e possiede una terrazza con vista fantastica. La colazione é abbondante e molto buona. Il personale cordialissimo ! Ci teniamo a dare una buonissima parola per Ali, che é stato di una gentilezza incredibile. Abbiamo preso la suite executive, che era una stanza enorme, pulitissima e dotata di tutti i comfort.

The property is beautiful, bit off road. The rooms could use a bit more light. The rooms are a bit dark but well furnished. The breakfast was really good and the staff helpful.

Truly the highlight of my trip to Fes! I could've easily just stayed in my suite the entire time and left satisfied! The staff were amazing. In particular, Fatima and Ali went above and beyond to make me comfortable and happy! Also, the laundry services were very quick and a great price per item

A little difficult to find initially, but such is the way throughout the old medina in Fes in general.

The staff, Ali in particular, was fabulous, anticipating our needs before we knew we had them. The Riad was spectacular in its beauty. The only negative was its location, in that it was easy to get lost and difficult to transit with luggage but the staff was so helpful in moving the luggage. We LOVED this place.

Property was well located- close walk to car outside the Medina. It was close to Bab Boujeloud with delicious donut down the street. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They helped us book a ramparts tour, day tour, spa, and dinner. You do have to climb up stairs. Property is elegantly decorated and peaceful. Our highlight was the day tour booked with Bouchta. He was excellent and really knew the city. The ramparts tour was excellent to see the outside of the city, palace gates, gardens, and go to a local ceramic shop. I’d highly recommend staying here. We had dinner which was well done. Breakfast was a continental style with fruits, breads, and boiled eggs.

Wunderschönes Riad mit ganz besonderem Flair. Das Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend und sorgt dafür, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Ein echtes Highlight ist die Dachterrasse mit einem einmaligen Ausblick über die Stadt. Die Einzelzimmer sind eher klein, aber dennoch gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man fühlt sich in dieser lebhaften Stadt jederzeit sicher und kann gleichzeitig die ruhige Atmosphäre des Riads genießen.

Polite and helpful staff - they even packed me some breakfast because I had to leave very early in the morning. The riad also has a beautiful courtyard.

The room was quite dark and gloomy. Although it was clean, it felt worn out. This stood out even more since I stayed in nicer, better located places for a lower price. The bathroom also had an unpleasant smell. When I arrived, I was told the restaurant would be closed that evening and that I would receive some recommendations, but the staff never followed up.

Riad Alassala is genuinely a beautiful place to stay. The building itself is stunning - full of traditional character, intricate design, and a really calming atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind after a busy day in Fes. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay: welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made the experience feel special. Breakfast each morning was fantastic - fresh, varied, and generous. It was something we looked forward to every day. The location is also excellent, making it easy to explore the medina while still feeling tucked away from the noise.

The bedroom was on the smaller side, but this was entirely my own choice when booking, so not really a fault of the riad!

The room was cold and shabby, the bathroom was across a public hall from our room, there was almost no hot water, room lighting was dim and the owner overcharged us for room tax and next morning transport to the airport. I could go on. It was an unhappy end to what was otherwise a very pleasant visit to Morocco.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Ali and all the staff were lovely and attentive to our needs. Great space and atmosphere. We booked a double and a single room, which turned out to be quite small, with very basic bathrooms, but the overall space, staff and nice food made up for that.

我入住的是最普通的房間，我預訂的時候也知道空間是細小的，但沒有想過外觀的樓底這麼高，房間的樓底很矮，吊燈也撞了好幾次頭，沒有光線進入，感覺很大的壓迫感。但我見到四人房，樓底真係高好多，很後悔。 如果你訂最普通的雙人房，將會有一個差的體驗。 另外，天台很靚，但11pm -8am 不開放，如果你在細小的房間裏睡不着，也不能到天台唞唞氣，這是最不滿的。 這是我在11日摩洛哥住宿唯一評價不好的酒店。

This was a wonderful and beautiful riad to stay in in Fes. Location wise it is just a 10 min walk to the blue gate and the medina, which is very convenient. The staff are wonderful and very helpful and would stay here again when I’m in Fes.

Le riad est très beau, il est bien entretenu. La petite musique de la cour intérieure avec le bruit de l'eau de la fontaine crée une ambiance zen et favorise la détente dans ce lieu magique. Nous remercions tout le personnel pour son accueil, son professionnalisme et particulièrement Alil avec qui nous avons échangé.
