The staff is friendly though they didn’t answer calls and Watsapp messages.

The family room is very small for 4 Pax the toilet and shower area really need some major upgrade. The blanket was not clean.

Een mooie Riad naast de Blue Gate in de souk van Fes met veel restaurants en cafés in de directe buurt. De kamers waren ruim, het ontbijt op het dakteras met prachtig uitzicht op oud Fes, was prima. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Hygiene kan beter, toilet zat niet vast op de vloer, toilet papier mocht niet doorgespoelt worden - moest gedeponeerd worden in apart, afsluitbaar emmertje, niet fijn. Dit heeft te maken met het kwetsbare rioolsysteem van oude stad Fes.

We were warmly welcomed at Riad Farah by Omar from the very beginning, and he explained everything with great attention to detail. The Riad is in a perfect location, just a short walk from Bab Boujloud, with easy access to the main streets and an ATM just a minute away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well. Our room was clean and comfortable.

The only small downside is the stairs if you are on the second floor, but it was good exercise!

The hotel was ideally located and the host, Omar, and chef, Omar, made the stay superb! The meals offered by the hotel were some of the best my wife and I ate in Morocco. Also, the tours offered (local Medina guide, cooking class and Hammam spa) were reasonably priced and just made our whole experience that much more enjoyable!

Although the location and accommodations were fantastic the reality of staying in a Riad is that there are stairs to the upper floors. Omar (host) did arrange to have our luggage carried up to our room so it wasn’t an issue. On the bright side, the stairs helped burn off the food we ate! :)

Merci infiniment, Omar, pour ton accueil si chaleureux et pour toutes les petites attentions que tu portes à tes invités. On se sent véritablement bien accueilli et pris en charge dès notre arrivée. Je recommande vivement ce Riad. Les chambres sont très confortables et les espaces communs sont vraiment agréables. La terrasse sur le toit est magnifique : c’est un endroit parfait pour prendre le petit-déjeuner, déjeuner ou dîner, mais aussi simplement pour s’installer et travailler tranquillement. Il y a également une autre petite terrasse très cozy, aménagée avec des sofas confortables, idéale pour travailler ou simplement se détendre. L’emplacement est également excellent : le Riad est très bien situé et permet de se déplacer facilement à pied dans la médina. Merci encore, Omar, pour ta gentillesse, ta disponibilité et tous les petits soins qui ont rendu mon séjour si agréable. Je garderai un très beau souvenir de mon passage chez toi et je recommande ce Riad sans hésitation.

La struttura è situata in una buona posizione sia per visitare la Medina che la Fes nuova, ben tenuta, dispone di tutti i servizi necessari, il personale è gentilissimo, sopratutto Omar che ci ha accolto con gentilezza e educazione, ci ha spiegato bene cosa visitare di Fes e ci è stato vicino per tutta la durata del soggiorno. Inoltre la colazione è squisita e super abbondante! Abbiamo perfino saltato i pranzi per quanto fosse abbondante

Solo che non si può buttare la carta igienica nel gabinetto

Le personnel était adorable , avec une très bonne présentation du Riad et de la médina , de très bon conseils au niveau restauration et guide de visite ( au top et moins cher que les sites spécialisés)

​The riad is conveniently situated in the Medina, just five minutes from the gate, making it easy to access both the Medina and the city outside. Upon arrival, one of the staff members gave us a very warm, cheerful welcome and kindly explained everything we needed to know, which we really appreciated. During breakfast, another staff member chatted with us about our trip, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. ​The room was spacious, spotless, and wonderfully bright with three windows facing the courtyard—a rare find compared to many other dark riad rooms! We also asked the hotel to arrange a hammam for us. The price was standard, and it took place at a neighboring hotel that was very grand, offering a high-quality experience.

​Reaching the room required a three-story climb up steep steps. It was fine for us, but worth noting for guests with mobility concerns.

Posizione molto comoda vicino all'ingresso della medina. Il Riad è molto pulito e super curato in ogni particolare. Bellissima la terrazza su cui si fa la colazione, offre una vista a 360° sulla città e sulle montagne circostanti. Il ragazzo alla reception è molto gentile, ci dato dei consigli molto utili per la visita alla città.

Dal pickup in aereoporto all'accoglienza nel Riad è stato tutto perfetto. Avete uno staff molto molto gentile ed ospitale. Il té di benvenuto degustato in terrazza, con la vista sulla città, lo abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo. Particolare nota di merito per Mohammed, che incarna perfettamente l'ospitalità marocchina e per il ragazzo che stamattina ci ha preparato la colazione a portar via, visto che dovevamo lasciare Fes presto, che ci ha accompagnato per un tratto di strada cosi da non permetterci di perderci ed arrivare puntuali al pickup point.

An excellent riad. Exceptional staff who are willing to go the extra mile. Great location near Bab Bou Jeloud and Batha, which means there are lots of restaurants nearby in various price ranges, it's easy to grab a taxi or to be dropped off, and it's easy to walk to most historical sites. Room was comfortable and well-equipped. And the terrace has fantastic views. Can't think of anything that wasn't good. A great option especially for first-timers in Fez (because of how easy everything is) or for returning visitors like myself.

Il Riad si trova in un’ottima posizione centrale per visitare la Medina di Fes. Il personale è stato davvero accogliente, gentile e disponibile. Le colazioni sono davvero abbondanti e buonissime. Consigliato!

Elegimos estar cerca del casco historico. Eso determina estar mas cerca de la forma de vida de los marroquies. Ellos son sumamente amables y cordiales. Alguna limitacion que pueda existir esta ampliamente compensada por la cordialidad de su gente. Sin duda volveria!!

I ragazzi dello staff sono davvero gentili e accoglienti. La struttura è bella, le camere spaziose, il Wi-Fi veloce e la colazione buona e abbondante. È stato un soggiorno veramente piacevole. Grazie di tutto!

We had a great stay at Riad Farah, the room was clean and comfortable and location was great! The stand out for us were the staff - they were so lovely and helpful and made us breakfast to take away as we had to leave early in the morning.

La gentilezza e la disponibilità di tutto lo staff è sicuramente il quid in più di questo Riad. Consigliamo di restare per cena, i piatti che abbiamo assaggiato sono stati davvero deliziosi. Nel contesto ci siamo sentiti accolti come in famiglia, siamo stati veramente bene!

Emplacement parfait dans la médina de Fès et une chambre confortable!

Nous sommes malheureusement tres déçu par le déroulement de notre fin de séjour dans ce Riad. Le propriétaire m’a fait payé 2 fois mon séjour, prétextant que la première fois, le paiement n’avait pas fonctionné. Je lui avais bel et bien fait remarquer que le paiement était bien effectué la premiere fois (preuve de ma banque a l’appui). Il a longtemps insisté pour me faire repayer a nouveau mon séjour ( chose que j’ai fait a regret). Obliger désormais de se battre avec eux et ma banque pour récupérer mon argent. De plus, le chauffeur qu’il nous ont mis à disposition a la fin de notre séjour pour nous rendre à Rabbat, n’avait visiblement pas eu les bonnes informations du Riad!! Bref je dirait que je ne recommande vraiment pas ce Riad. Exception peut être, où habitude du propriétaire pour les touristes. A mediter!!

En general me gustó todo. Destacaría la comida y lo serviciales qué son aparte de ser un sitio precioso y un oasis tranquilo en el corazón de la Medina a 5 min. de la puerta azul

Muchas escaleras sin ascensor. Si alguien tiene problemas mejor coger las habitaciones en la planta baja.

We were so well looked after. Omar and Muhammad brought us breakfast on the terrace every morning and always offered tea when we arrived back. Great Central location

El personal molt amable i atent, el Riad molt maco, un esmorzar molt bói especial a la terrassa i molt bona situacio del Riad prop de l’entrada principal de la Medina.

El bany massa petit no hi ha distància entre dutxa i la pica del bany i no s’hi cabia. L’aire condiocinat de l’hanitacio feia molt soroll. El Hamman que varem contractar a través de l’hotel no es recomanable.

The location, the room and the staff, Omar was more than helpful. He knows how we would like to be helped and really didn’t have to ask. He is so ready always for us.

強いて言うなら、ベッドの角が尖っていて怪我をしたくらいです。 自分の不注意ですが…。

Absolutely amazing staff especially Omar and Mohammad at the front desk and Chef Omar in the kitchen. They were so friendly and really made us feel like we were part of the family and community. Chef Omar is a very talented chef and teacher so I highly recommend taking the cooking class!

Everything was spectacular during our stay.

Omar e Mohammed são excelentes no serviço, prestando muitas dicas e informações sobre a cidade. Fiquei até com vontade de me hospedar por mais dias. O quarto é confortável e espaçoso. O pátio central é bem simpático e rico em decoração detalhada feita toda à mão. Fica pertinho do Portão Azul e rodeado de ruas com mercados. Excelente localização. Rooftop pequeno mas charmoso e com uma bela vista.

Pra mim não foi um problema, mas são muitas escadas (sem acessibilidade nos andares de cima - o que é comum no país)

Hotel lindo, quarto amplo e camas muito confortáveis! Fomos muito bem tratadas pelos funcionários!

O único defeito (bem pequeno) e que cobraram a água do café da manhã.

It was a pleasure to stay in Riad Farah. We got welcomed like family and felt like that for the whole stay. Hosts were so friendly and helpful. Location in the heart of Medina was very convenient to explore Fes.

La prima settimana di giugno, a seguito di uno spiacevole disguido con un'altra struttura, abbiamo soggiornato per una notte, quasi per caso, in questo Riad: è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa! 😀 Abbiamo prenotato e, prima ancora che potessimo controllare come arrivare esattamente alla struttura, ci ha contattati Omar, un ragazzo gentilissimo che, per agevolarci, oltre ad averci spiegato la strada per arrivare, si è anche offerto di venirci a prendere subito fuori dalla vietta del Riad. Arrivati alla struttura Omar ha subito provveduto alle pratiche di check-in ma, soprattutto, ci ha immediatamente fatto sentire a nostro agio, come in famiglia, cosa che abbiamo apprezzato come mai prima d'ora, considerato soprattutto che arrivavamo da ore molto pesanti dovuto ai problemi causati dalla struttura dove avremmo dovuto alloggiare. Dopo tale disavventura non potevamo chiedere accoglienza migliore al Riad Farah: Omar è stato splendido! E gentilissimi sono stati anche tutti i suoi colleghi il giorno successivo. Consigliamo senza esitazione, a chiunque decida di soggiornare a Fes, di alloggiare presso questa struttura: bella, accogliente, pulita e curata, con un personale gentilissimo, con terrazza panoramica e, non ultima, una colazione abbondante e favolosa! Grazie a tutti, ragazzi, siamo stati benissimo con voi al Riad Farah! Se torneremo a Fes, sapremo sicuramente dove alloggiare per stare veramente bene!

Super position 1minute walk by Blue-gate, Super kind staff expecially OMAR ready 7/24 to take care of you and manage any excursion or suggestion you might ask, always smiling .. you can truly live FES into the medina and start from here for special days in Marocco . all the rooms and the rooftop ,where you can have your mint tea anytime, are lovely.

Breakfast on the roof was very nice. We could get tea/ coffee at any time. The room was very comfortable. The hosts were very accomodating.

有名な青の門まで徒歩3分程度で、到着時は事前に連絡することで門までスタッフの方が迎えにきてリアドまで荷物を運びつつ連れて行ってくださり、迷わずに済んで助かりました。到着後もスタッフの方々が親切でフレンドリーで、お部屋も大人2名に対して十分な広さがあり良かったです。部屋にチップを残すことで洗濯をしておいてくださるサービスもありこの点も大変助かりました。他のリアドで経験した、お湯が出なくなる、冷房の効きが悪いといったこともありませんでした。

洗面台が部屋の中にあるスタイルだったので、部屋を閉め切っていると若干下水の匂いが気になるタイミングもありました。が、日中窓を開けておけば就寝時も気にならなくなったので大きな問題ではありませんでした。

La atención del personal fue excepcional. Nos fueron a buscar al taxi y en todo momento nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Fueron muy atentos con nuestro desayuno pues tuvimos que partir antes de la hora.

Había algo de mal olor en el baño. A la noche venía ruido de la calle.

Location is fantastic, just inside the médina so very easy to reach. Food is also very good, we've also had dinner there and it was very good. Much better than other restaurants. Staff extremely kind, prepared and responsive, we had planned to go to meknes by train, but they were all full, so the staff quickly proposed a bus alternative that was also very good!

Un lindo Riad, con unos detalles únicos, al lado de la calle concurrida pero muy tranquilo y agradable, el personal estupendo, Omar nos explicó cómo movernos por la Medina y nos dio mucha información útil, el desayuno en la terraza arriba era una delicia! Gracias por hacernos sentir en casa.

Ottima posizione per visitare la medina. Colazione più che abbondante servita sulla terrazza panoramica

Accogliente, pulita e ariosa. Bella vista dal rooftop. Posizione perfetta per girare fez e comoda al parcheggio e all’ingresso della città dalla porta blu. Omar è stato un host gentilissimo e davvero molto accogliente. Ottima anche la cena tipica. Non vi pentirete di un soggiorno in questo riad.

L’emplacement, le style même si ce n’est pas un Riad mais un Dar

Les odeurs d’égouts émanant de la salle de bain très étroite au niveau du lavabo : difficile de bouger face au miroir. L’insonorisation des chambres inexistante. Les conseils sur les excursions sont incorrects et surtout les excursions sont tarifées le double de ce qui est proposés sur Get your guide par exemple. On nous a chargé le paiement par CB de 5% pour des frais de banque marocaine, ce qui est totalement illégal.

Very nice location! Also Omar is Amazing. He is extremely helpful and has such a great energy you truly feel like family.

Ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, prachtige Riad en fijne locatie in de Medina maar op prima loopafstand van de parkeergarage.

We hadden helaas last van een hardnekkige rioollucht uit het doucheputje en het bed was aardig smal.

L'emplacement et la gentillesse du personnel

宿泊する前の段階で質問メールをしたらすぐに丁寧な返答があり、しかも、チェックインしたときにそのことをちゃんと覚えていてくれました。 宿泊中もスタッフは親切でとても気持ちよく過ごすことができました。ルーフトップでいただく朝食もよかったです。 ロケーションもよく買い物や観光にもとても便利で、ブー・ジュルード門（タクシーにはここから乗ります）からも近いので他の町への移動の際も楽でした。 部屋は充分広く、中庭に向いた窓がおしゃれでした。照明も明るくてよかったです。

宿のせいではありませんが、０時くらいまで外が騒がしい日がありました。

Il Riad è in una posizione comodissima, appena dentro la Medina Abbiamo usufruito del servizio taxi e i ragazzi ci hanno accolto e accompagnato in Riad Servizio e pulizia impeccabile come la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale Letti comodissimi Colazione tipica e abbondante Ottima anche la cucina proposta per la cena che ci è stata servita nella terrazza panoramica.

Unica pecca è stato un odore sgradevole di scarichi, soprattuto al mattino, dato probabilmente dal fatto che avevamo la camera al pianterreno.

Mooie riad op een perfecte locatie, met een heerlijk dakterras met prachtig uitzicht. Fijne kamer met tv. Leuke luikjes en sfeervolle verlichting. Goede, vriendelijke, aardige en sociale service (Dank Omar & Souhail!). Rustig en ontspannen sfeer. Lekker ontbijt.

Niet dat wij het echt heel storend vonden of dat het tegen viel, maar als we iets kritisch moeten zeggen: De badkamer en wc waren wat krapjes in de Fez-room. Het galmt nogal in de centrale middenplaats, waardoor je makkelijk de mensen hoort praten beneden en mensen jouw horen, wanneer jij zelf beneden in gesprek bent met een ander. Mede daarom zaten wij liever op het dakterras, wat gewoon een prachtige en heerlijke plek was.

The property has a lovely rooftop terrace where you can have breakfast and dinner or just enjoy some tea, peace and quiet after busy Medina. The staff was exceptionally friendly and kind. They truly made us feel like home. They accommodated all our needs. It is also great value for money as we spent double the price in Marrakech for a similar riad. Rooms very clean

The rooms and bathrooms are a little smaller than in other riads but this is expected given an excellent price for the property.

Very welcoming property and would recommend for a short or long stay! It had wonderful staff who helped with all questions. The room was clean and comfortable. We also ate dinner at the Riad and it was superb. The location was also great, right between the two main streets and easy to walk to and find

The bathroom had mould, which doesn’t bother me but I know people can be allergic.

We had an amazing stay at Riad Farah! The team is amazing, from arrival to departure, they have taken exceptional care of us and provided us with information, tea and coffee and always a smile on their faces. We always chatted about our day in the Medina and felt very safe. The rooms are beautifully designed, clean and comfortable, the rooftop terrace is stunning, the food (breakfast and dinner) great and the hospitality extraordinarily. They welcome you as part of the family and make sure you feel like it. The location is perfect too, close to the blue gate and inbetween the two main streets. 200% recommended!

My room was not available at 14:00. One has to carry the luggage out of the car parking. breakfast is available at 08:30, which is quiet late.

No hay nada que no me haya gustado. Como sugerencias mencionaría el incluir algo de fruta en el desayuno y alguna cosa más en el paquete de desayuno en caso de tener que salir de excursión antes de la hora a la que comienza el desayuno. Para tener en cuenta que por estar en la medina, y por su antigüedad, a veces se puede notar un olor en el cuarto de baño.

The mattress was a little too firm for my taste.

The riad is authentic and restful. The location is excellent. Omar and Nadir were very welcoming, friendly and happy to help with anything, as well as give us good information. The quality of the food was always excellent and beautifully presented. Great to have the choice of eating in the lovely courtyard or rooftop.

The bathroom was quite small and it wasn’t easy to get a constant ideal water temperature in the shower.

The staff at the Riad Farah were exceptional. Omar and his coworker were friendly, welcoming and super helpful! The breakfasts were good and the room was large and beautifully decorated. Great location near the blue gate in the middle of everything.

There was a strong sewer gas smell in the Casablanca room

Das Riat ist klein aber sehr schön. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber und der Service war sehr angenehm und unterstützend. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall emfpehlen.

Отличный риад, внутри как дворец. Идеально расположен, недалеко от Голубых ворот. Омар был очень гостиприимным и его советы были очень ценны для нашего путешествия по медине.

Одеяла были слишком теплыми.

It is very nice riad, authentic, very clean, very nice staff, speaking English fluently, very helpful. The location can't be better, in Medina. near Blue gate. Very tasty breakfasts and dinners. It was extremely nice to stay there.

Нам понравилось всё! Аутентичный отель. Номер "Марракеш" с раздельными кроватями на 1- м этаже.. Большой.Приветливый персонал. Удобное расположение недалеко от ворот Медины в тихом проулке. Легко найти. В связи с ранней экскурсией менеджер нам приготовил завтра раньше, вызвал такси, помог донести чемоданы.

La straordinaria accoglienza dello staff (ci hanno offerto il tè alla menta, ci hanno spiegato un po' la storia e la struttura della città, ci hanno aiutato a portare su e giù le valigie, erano disponibili a qualsiasi ora per aiutare). La bellezza dello spazio comune e delle terrazze. La colazione molto abbondante.

La stanza Merzouga non è molto grande.

Riad a due passi dalla porta blu. Staff molto gentile e cena molto buona. Comodo il servizio da e per l'aeroporto.
