Also known as The k luxor hotel and Quen hotel.There is building work going on beside,behind and in the hotel Unable to get any sleep due to the work going on. Only one hand and bath towel asked for more but refused. Had to buy our own toilet roll as refused to supply more. Out of 7 floors only the 5 floor has rooms the 6th is reception and top is the roof terrace. The area around the hotel is like a slum. The night before our check out at 9pm phoned our room asking for payment. I offered my card to him he replied that the machine is not working and I need to go to the ATM to get cash out I refused he said he would come with me I still refused. Then all of a sudden the machine was working they took my payments in 4 lots charging me 2US dollars for each transaction . The only good thing was the view of the pyramids. Avoid at all cost

Scam rooms are not the same Bathrooms and showers dont work no hot water They clean toilets with towels

Staff was friendly, room was clean but getting towels was a chore. Abundance of construction going on in adjacent buildings.

I couldn’t fault this place - SAYED the manager was superb. The room we had was great, views exceptional, food was great and most importantly they made us feel special. The tour guide provided to us was outstanding too. You guys have the greatest team !! Thank you for your hospitality!

Cancelled our reservation when landing at the airport. VERY unproffesional! Not surpising in Egypt. They claimed they had no power, which sounded hard to believe as we stayed in another place nearby that had power. DO NOT STAY THERE. It seems like a scam. We were offered free transportation from the airport, and this was immediately followed up by a "tour operator" offering tours. We rejected those as we had already booked with a reputable tour company (ETB Travel), that seems like a more likely reason to cancel reservations at the last minute.

On offer was airport collection (free of charge). Before we arrived, someone from the hotel contacted me on WhatsApp demanding for $10USD for the cab booking. Of course I didn't pay it. Once we arrived at the airport we couldn't find anyone waiting to collect us. We called the hotel to confirm if a car had been sent - they did not send anyone. We were told there was an issue with the driver. We made are own way in a cab. The cab driver immediately looked at the hotel and made negative comments about the appearance & standard. Little did we know how right he would be. The hotel paid for our cab which was the only thing nice. Once entering the hotel we checked in and were told the "New Pyramids Eyes" hotel isn't a new hotel but rather a refurbished floor in the old preexisiting hotel! We were rushed through the room and asked to leave our belongings to head to the roof to get a view of the unlit pyramids. We received our free drinks while being shown our room online by the reception staff...I found this to be an odd experience. The rush was unnecessary and unprofessional. We went back to our room which is when we started noticing how poor/bad the quality of the room was. We were expecting a view of the pyramids but instead our room overlooked a construction site with a garbage area. Other things we noticed...curtain partially hanging off its rails, extremely dirty shower with brown stain every where, holes and dents in the wall, duvet cover missing + the duvet had yellow sticky material with pubic hair attached to it. And 2 towels for 3 guest. I pulled in one of the receptionist to show him why we were unhappy with the standard, he didn't have much to say. He just stood there looking like a deer caught in headlights. I requested another room but he only want to sort it out in the morning. We slept in that room one night and woke up a few hours later to people shouting/complaining about no hot water in their room. We immediately got up to pack up and checked out. The new receptionist asked why we were leaving so early when our booking was for 3 nights, we just told him...we needed to go. He did nothing to stop us nor tried to solve the issue nor apologise. All in all it was a horrible experience...I wanted nothing more but to leave within seconds of being in the room. I think it would have been better for the hotel to call themselves a Hostel not hotel and clearly put in writing that the hotel is under construction. I would also advice them to deep clean!! From looking at the description/write up, its a mis-description which I hope the hotel will look into.

We booked two nights at this hotel months ago. As soon as we booked we got a message from a tour guide working with the hotel saying we would pick us up at the airport. As our flight arrived in Cairo at 1.10 a.m we took up on the offer. In the day of the flight (yesterday) we were speaking via whatsapp. We then arrived in Cairo only to find that no one was there to take us to the hotel and also they were not picking up the phone. We took a Uber and went to the hotel after 1.5h of waiting to see if someone would pick us up. As we arrived in the Hotel they said the were fully booked and canceled our reservation. It's now almost 4 am in Cairo and we need to find new accomodation. Also, they said they didn't have room for us today ( I booked 2 nights) even though if you go to booking.com you can still make a reservation! Also, because they canceled I cant make a review on booking. Be very alert!!! Do not go with this hotel as you may find yourself at 4 a.m. lost in the streets trying to find a place to sleep.

Reservei quarto com vista para as pirâmides e quando cheguei por volta de 23h me falaram que estavam lotados e que tinham um quarto sendo vago dentro de uma hora e seria limpo antes de eu entrar e não era com vista, só iriam liberar com vista no dia seguinte. Aceitei porque era muito tarde e não tinha outra opção, acabou que esperei até as 2h da manhã pra entrar num quarto barulhento das máquinas de ar condicionado e mal limpo. O rapaz que estava na recepção dormiu sentado nessas 3 horas que eu estava esperando e estava roncando e babando, tive que acordar ele umas 3 vezes pra ele verificar se o quarto estava pronto. Não fui reembolsado em nada. No dia seguinte me colocaram no quarto com vista que era bem melhor que o primeiro porém de frente com uma rua super movimentada que é um barulho imenso o dia todo, inclusive de madrugada, era um quarto melhor que o primeiro. O café da manhã foi bem complicado, é bem ruim, os ovos são cozidos, fui me adaptando ao que tinha. Ao longo dos 5 dias meu quarto não foi limpo nenhuma vez, toalhas não foram trocadas, e sendo numa região de deserto ao final da estadia o quarto já estava cheio de areia no chão. O chuveiro é bom porém parece que tem um limite de água quente, se tomar banho mais demorado acaba a água quente. Ficamos sem água por duas vezes. O ponto forte do hotel é realmente vista, só recomendo se realmente quiser ter vista das pirâmides e não puder pagar por outro mais caro como o Marriot e vá preparado.

Der Typ an der Reception zeigte überhaupt keine Interessen. Zuerst das falsche Zimmer bekommen. Handtücher waren nicht sauber auch das Bett sah so aus als ob es frisch bezogen war. Das Zimmer wurde auf den darauffolgenden Tag nicht gereinigt. Grund: Wir hatten den Schlüssel nicht da gelassen.

Excellent Hotel with best staff

What a wonderful boutique style hotel!! I just returned from a 5-night stay in a pyramid view room, and it was amazing! The staff was super attentive, the hotel was very clean, and the daily breakfast was great. Perfect jumping point for the pyramids and Cairo. I highly recommend for a budget-friendly, clean, safe hotel. Loved my stay there!

The view and the breakfast were amazing.

The hotel is very different from the pictures, and the bedrooms too. The view to the pyramids is trough a little balcony and you cannot see the show from there. Do not recommend this hotel

Booked three nights pyramid view, 1st night in a room with view of a brick wall. Claimed to have 24 hrs between guests in rooms but moved into correct room 1 hour after someone checked out. Really Hard selling on services from the hotel. The balconies with the view ARE NOT private. Has breakfast but didn't partake because i couldn't find a kitchen.

The views on this hotel is amazing. You can literally see the pyramids from your room as well as see it from the rooftop. I highly recommend for the unique experience. The rooms were well kept, clean and spacious. You would need to ask the front deskman for extra cleaning and ironing supplies. There was a hard push to get touring options from the hotel contact, but would recommend that you look at various options to come to a price agreement before booking anything. Overall good hotel rooms and views.

Very good hotel whith wonderfull view the staf is helpfull and friendly thankh for marwan saiid and mohamad you can take a trip to all touristic place with mr mohamad the hotel is very clean good location near al ahram but not nearby to down town and airoport every thing is ok there is a breakfast every day in the roof whith a excellent view i advice this hotel .

Sayed was very welcoming. I asked for a free shuttle from the airport and they answered right away to me. Through Whats up you can communicate easily with them. He made my stay very comfortable. Another Sayed explained the tour packages very well too. They give you reasonable prices for the tours. I will definitely come back to this hotel. The staff is very professional and polite. And the rooms very clean and knew. The prices are really reasonable and the view from the roof top amazing. Thank you staff for being friendly and helpful.

It's a small hotel with an amazing view on the pyramids from a restaurant on the top. The staff is good english speaking, attentive and very helpful. The location of the hotel is quite convenient. The food in restaurant is perfect, just pre-order it.
