Good swimming pool. Tucked away from main thoroughfare. Gardens. Quite quirky. Very nice staff.

Call to prayer 500am. Beach parties far enough away. Our complaint is not the accommodation but the electric motor scooters all over the island making it so busy and stressful to walk around..So different to what we were expecting.

Nothing at all. The weekly party nearby can be heard but it’s part of the island, either where the earplugs included on that evening or better still, go to the party.

Camera molto umida e spartana. Non è molto isolata dai rumori in particolare musica e moschea. Tappi obbligatori e forniti anche in camera.

SI HAY ALGUNA FIESTA CERCA TAMBIÉN SE ESCUCHA, AÚN ASÍ SE PUEDE DESCANSAR Y LO RECOMENDARÍA. EL PERSONAL MUY ATENTO.

La habitación es espectacular. La tranquilidad del lugar es lo que más se busca. Muy buen desayuno. Las vistas a la piscina son espectaculares. El sitio está muy bien ubicado. Y el personal que te atiende es muy atento y amable.

Where to start? Dolcemare is just a beautiful place to be. The gardens are delightful, the pool is perfect(easy access from our room was such a treat) the staff are welcoming, friendly and so helpful and the decor and little touches delightful and surprise the more you look. It was such a peaceful, secluded and very private stay. It is an easy stroll to the sunset beach, the harbour isn't far and you can easily walk to swim with the turtles, as we did 4 times!. Hire a bike and ride around the island, and across the island. It is easier inland, pushing is needed in parts because of soft sand. But all good fun. The food is outstanding. The breakfasts are delicious with a lot of choice and the menu for the evening meal is so good. All in all, such a memorable place to stay. We loved it.

I loved the crepes and fresh fruit iced coffee at breakfast. Beautiful sunsets a short stroll away. The pool was amazing and lovely people. Great restaurant for a nice quiet dinner.

This boutique property is a little sanctuary. Five rooms nestled around a huge pool. A shady garden was the perfect space to read and relax. Close (100m) to the best beach for sunset and a range of great restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.

At night we could hear the beach bars but ear plugs provided by the hotel made it easy to sleep.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful . Location is off the beach, but this was a plus for us, away from nighttime noise at restaurants. The pool was terrific, well maintained. Landscaping provided shade that made it easy to sit outside.

Bed was slightly uncomfortable, though that depends on personal preference. There was construction noise next door, though that was not the fault of the hotel.

Loved this hotel. Set in beautiful gardens down a small lane about 150m from the beach it felt like a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle. Rooms were comfortable and spacious and lots of little extras were provided. Great choice for breakfast and food in the restaurant was very good.

Could hear music from the beach one night but the ear plugs provided solved that.

Klein und fein :)) der Pool ist toll, schöner Garten, das Frühstück sehr lecker bei guter Auswahl, ansprechend eingerichtet, gute Dusche, prima Service. Wir haben den Aufenthalt 2 Tage verlängert.

Leider ist für uns die Matratze zu hart, aber das ist unser persönliches Empfinden.

You must eat at the restaurant, amazing food. Had a much-required relaxing stay, nothing is a problem. Staff are exceptional.

Die Unterkunft hat nur 4 Bungalows, was sehr schön ist. Der Pool ist ebenfalls sehr nett. Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstraße zum Meer, man ist in 2 min dort. Das Personal war freundlich.

Der Raum ist insgesamt etwas dunkel und das Badezimmer nicht mehr das Neueste. Beim Frühstück wurden keine indonesischen Gerichte angeboten, was wir schade fanden.

Location was great. Secluded and far enough away from beachfront to be quiet yet still an easy walk to restaurants/bars. Restaurant was superb. Wonderful Italian food. The breakfast was amazing. The service was excellent. Aji, Surya and team were extremely helpful and pleasant. Pool was crystal clear and refreshing. They have thought of everything in the room for a comfortable stay.

Es war alles perfekt. Ich wurde sehr lieb von Aji empfangen. Und auch alle anderen vom Personal waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Es lässt sich alles fußläufig erreichen. Mein Aufenthalt hätte nicht besser gewesen sein können. Danke dafür!

The perfect property if you want a peaceful stay close to the animation of the island. Beautifully maintained and decorated, the resort provides all the services you can expect. The Italian restaurant is delicious and the staff very helpful to meet any inquiry you may have.. We loved our stay here during 4 nights and would return without a doubt. Check out Mama Pizza restaurant for breathtaking sunsets at 5 minutes walking distance and delicious pizzas.

Schedule of the breakfast starts at 8:00am, many activities like snorkeling can start early, as well as the Ferry to reach Padang Bae, so we would recommend the hotel to have earlier start for breakfast.

EXCELENTE tanto ubicación, instalaciones, limpieza pero sobre todo la amabilidad del personal, en especial AJI él ha estado durante toda nuestra estancia y ha sido súper agradable. También a destacar el desayuno, buenísimo y recién hecho. Muy buena la piscina, al contrario de otros hoteles que hemos visto en la isla, ofrece la privacidad y descanso perfecto. El hotel ofrece detalles como mascarillas para el rostro, acondicionador, jabón para lavar ropa, kit de costura y tapones para los oídos, todo un detalle OJALÁ PODAMOS VOLVER!!

Great pool and good location of the accommodation. Good breakfast and nice helpful staff. From your location you can explore the island by foot. Don’t rent any bike or electric scooter as the beach walk is way too sandy for it besides it is nicer on foot. Good restaurants and all local people are nice and friendly.

There appeared to be only 4 rooms, all of which overlooked the pool. However, whilst the aspect of the middle two seemed to be brighter, our room at the end (and presumably this is true for the room at the opposite end) was incredibly dark, as the tinted windows were sat well back behind a large balcony with an overhanging roof. The electric lights were needed throughout the day and it made the room feel quite uninviting. The room was otherwise perfectly comfortable, and some may like a darker room, but it didn't really suit us, and considering the cost, we were a bit disappointed.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön mit den einzelnen Hütten. Die Lage ist super, man ist gleich am Strand. Neben dem Hotel ist ein Fahrradverleih. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut, man konnte aus verschiedenen Gerichten auswählen. Alle dort waren sehr nett, wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder sort buchen.

This is the second time we have stayed - nothing not to like!

Ci siamo sentiti a Casa. La struttura è bellissima, pulitissima e tenuta perfettamente. Le camere sono grandi, pulite e profumate e hanno tutti i comfort possibili ed immaginabili (es. Maschera per capelli e visto, ho adorato). I servizi sono straordinari, ringraziamo Aji per aver reso la nostra permanenza indimenticabile, essendosi preso cura di noi organizzandoci snorkelling tour privati in barca, affitto di motorini, servizio di lavanderia etc. Colazione buonissima e freschissima. Per quanto riguarda la posizione della struttura, questa è vicinissima al mare circa un minuto a piedi dal mare. Speriamo di tornare presto.

La struttura è molto carina e immersa nella natura in pieno stile indonesiano, il valore aggiunto è lo staff e in particolare Aigi che oltre la sua affabilità è presente in ogni momento per rendere il vostro soggiorno migliore. Il cibo e la colazione sono ottimi

Non è responsabilità dell hotel ma credo di fatto del governo e comunque di tutti gli imprenditori dell’isola, è uno dei luoghi naturali più sporchi che abbia visitato negli ultimi anni. Non tornerei più, mi spiace, nè consiglierei di visitare quest’isola finché non viene bonificata e vengano applicate delle leggi più severe sul turismo

Vom Einchecken bis zum auschecken einfach toll. Über 20 Meter langer Pool... Sehr gepflegtes Anwesen. Frühstück ist gut und die Spots sind schnell mit einem Rad erreichbar. Sauber und einladend. Wir würden wieder dort hinkommen.

Die Matratze ist für unsere Bedürfnisse zu hart.

The staff were top-notch, as was the food, breakfast was the best we’ve had in Lombok….gorgeous Indonesian furniture, pool and gardens well kept, very close to lovely restaurants, would highly recommend.

You could tell by the cleanness, amenities in the room, breakfast, furnishings, knowledge and helpfulness of staff that EVERY effort was put into making your time at this resort as good as it could possible be. The pool was fantastic. Being slightly back from the beach was great for avoiding the late night partying

L'extrême gentillesse du personnel. Le calme (sauf lors des appels à la prière), la longue piscine, le jardin avec les transats, l'eau potable à volonté, les kimonos, sarongs,... et le restaurant de l'hôtel. Nous y avons mangé 3 fois. J'ai déjà séjourné en Italie et je n'ai jamais mangé italien aussi délicieusement. Les préparations de pâtes sont excellentes et le poisson aussi succulent que copieux. Un véritable coup de cœur. Bravo à toute l'équipe.

Notre logement est présenté comme ayant 52 m2. En fait, on y arrive si l'on compte la terrasse extérieure car la chambre + la salle de bain ne font maximum que 30 m2.

Todo. La habitación impecable, con todos los servicios y un montón de complementos que facilitan la estancia. Las instalaciones muy buenas y el desayuno y la cena buenísimos. Mi marido estuvo un día entero enfermo y nos ayudaron a llamar al servicio médico y prepararon la comida que necesitaba para recuperarse. Se preocupaban y preguntaban. Todo facilidades. Muy recomendable.

Das Frühstück war völlig ausreichend und bietet viele Optionen! Der Pool ist ein absoluter Traum! Unser Zimmer war geräumig und wurde täglich gereinigt Das Bad hat alles was man braucht und die Dusche hat Druck. Nebenan ist direkt ein Fahrradverleih. Zum Strand keine 3 Minuten zu Fuß. Wir sind vom Dolce Mare total begeistert gewesen und werden sofern wir wieder nach Gili Air kommen sicher wieder buchen!

Nichts gefunden was uns nicht gefallen hat. 👍

The breakfast was nice, and the staff are extremely friendly.

The location is awful. You will hear noise from bars 100m away hosting parties. Do not believe Google times as they are open later than they claim. We were kept awake until 5am and had to leave our stay early. The area in general is unfortunately very trashy due to the clientele of the local bars. Even if you want to wake up early to go and enjoy some peace and quiet they are still playing music at 6am (though it is quieter). There is also a call to prayer several times a day, starting at around 4:30am, which is heard all around the island.

Great staff, nice common space with a beautiful pool area and cute attached restaurant. Breakfast is good though I wish there were an Asian meal option.

Location is close to sunset beach, what I didn't realize is that it's full of bars hosting parties all the time. There are earplugs but half the nights we were there we could hear the bass blasting which made it difficult to sleep. The room could use a desk or coffee table too, had to put stuff on chairs and the floor since there were not enough surfaces.

Établissement très bien entretenu, tant les chambres (5 en tout) que les jardins et la piscine, et le personnel est agréable. Idéalement situé à quelques mètres des plages et des restaurants/bars tout en étant au calme. Les petits déjeuners servis au restaurant de l'hôtel sont variés et bons. Les pâtes aux fruits de mer au dîner étaient excellentes ! Une adresse très sympa où aller les yeux fermés !

Lovely property and located perfectly a short walk from all amenities and you can’t hear the loud music too bad from the late beach club parties there.

This villa is located very close (seconds walk) to the best beachbar with sunbeds and shisha on the Gili Air. Its the rare place on Gili islands where you can swim comfortably without special shoes!! The beach looks amazing during the high tide. Usually high tide is from 8am to 1pm, after that you can go relax in the pool which is also nice. Also, Dolcemare Resort is the only place where we have found decaf coffee on Bali. The breakfast was also quite good. If I come back to Jili Air I would not consider other options where to stay due to its convenient location.

The pool was lovely and the location was ideal- close to the port but in a quiet side road. The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfasts excellent.

Uns hat alles an der Unterkunft super gefallen! Das Beste war der Service, der unfassbar freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Die haben sich um alles gekümmert, sich um den Radverleih gekümmert und alle Wünsche erfüllt und sogar kleine Präferenzen beim Frühstück gemerkt. Die Lage ist auch super - direkt beim Sonnenuntergang, wodurch man gut zu Fuß abends nach Hause kommt. Auch die Zimmer waren sehr schön und sauber. Der Pool ist groß zum Schwimmen. Würden jederzeit wieder dort hin.

We had a nicely appointed room that was serviced every day, it also had a great outdoor area with a large shaded daybed - ideally for lounging, a fridge and a clothes dryer. The pool and grounds were lovely and everywhere was kept spotlessly clean. There were lots of thoughtful touches in the bathroom (an aftersun face mask and a hair treatment along with all the usual bits and pieces. The breakfast was delicious with a great choice, all freshly prepared. We loved the location, only a minute from the beach but up a side road to keep things quiet and private.

Я выбрала именно этот отель, так как в нем находится итальянский ресторан. Мы приехали на остров Гили Айр отметить мой юбилей, поэтому ресторан был так важен. Я предупредила персонал, но в нужный день мне сообщили , что могут приготовить только пасту или пиццу, а терамису они уже давно не готовят. Меня это сильно расстроило и пришлось искать другой ресторан. Завтрак в отеле с 8 утра. Готовят индивидуально по меню. Это может быть проблемой , если ваш паром или лодка на снорклинг отходит в 9.00.

We loved this small resort. The room was beautiful and confortable, and had direct access to the stunning garden and pool. The staff, in particular Surya, was also very helpful.

These villas have everything that you need. This place is very quite and We loved the little patio area. I suggest to rent a bike from next door and explore the island with it.

Habitación amplia, con cama y almohadas cómodas. Junto a la piscina, sin mucho ruido. Lugar tranquilo con personal muy agradable. El desayuno también muy rico. Los pancakes nutella- plátano muy buenos.

Dolcemare is a family run facility. We enjoyed that the resort was located in a quiet part of the island but still centrally located. There is a mosque on the island as it is predominantly Muslim community and you can hear the call to prayer but it is something you must bear in mind when traveling and respect other religions. Since I am a light sleeper I did hear it in the morning, however it didn’t bother me. My partner never even stirred. Plus the resort provides guests with earplugs should they wish to use them. They also have a restaurant on the premises and we enjoyed the free breakfast. It is not a buffet breakfast but you have plenty of options to choose from and everything is freshly made. Since I am sensitive to gluten I especially enjoyed that they provide a gluten-free option which is not widely available in Indonesia. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the portions were delicious and generous. All in all, the staff was friendly and the island was a welcome change to the hustle and bustle of Bali. Gili Air and Dolcemare make you feel welcome and let you enjoy the chill vibes of what we imagined Bali might’ve been a couple of decades ago. 10/10 can’t wait to return!
