Across from convention center Beds were cozy Could request a microwave
Elevator was out for duration of our entire stay and the other one was a 5 minute maze away. Room given was facing the outdoor fireplace, extra hot. Unnecessary in Texas summer 3rd floor rooms don't have a fan on the patio, so theres no airflow. I didnt like the prefilled bar/snacks in the room. It shouts greedy and if I wanted snacks/beer, I could walk for it. It can lure rodents and bugs.

Everything. Very nice. Restaurant on site. Coffee shop pool

Love the pool, the restaurant the court yard all of it, staff is also very nice and very helpful all the staff
So nice and close to everything. Staff was very helpful
I loved everything about the Texican Court. I loved the style and vibes. All the staff was so incredibly nice and always at the ready to help. Every area of the grounds was well kept and so beautifully put together.
That I couldn't stay there longer! Seriously, that is my only complaint! I didn't want to leave.
I had a fantastic stay, to the rooms and the food it was all amazing. Someone stood out to me his name is Leo I don’t think he was our waiter but he did check on us to make sure we were good and I really appreciate it that someone so attentive to our table and man was I thirsty haha
I travel to Irving for work every few months and usually stay at the same hotel. This trip, however, my manager suggested that everyone stay at the same location, so I canceled my usual reservation and booked Texican Court instead. After looking at the photos online, I thought it looked like a charming, unique place. One thing I didn't realize beforehand is that Texican Court is designed more like a motel than a traditional hotel. When I checked in, I was given a key card that also powers the room. I'd never seen that before, but I actually thought it was a neat feature. My first impression of the room was that it was fairly basic. It did have a colorful retro-style refrigerator stocked with just about every drink imaginable, along with snacks like chips, nuts, and candy. I didn't touch any of it after seeing that a small bottle of water cost $6. I was surprised there wasn't at least one complimentary bottle of water. There also wasn't a microwave in the room. Unfortunately, cleanliness is where my experience started to go downhill. The room was extremely dusty, and there were spider webs in several places. I even found a spider in the bathroom, and there was hair on the bedside table. I mentioned my concerns to the front desk and asked if the room had been vacant for a while because it genuinely looked like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. Thankfully, I always travel with disinfecting wipes and Lysol, so cleaning up wasn't a major inconvenience. Still, I've stayed in many hotels over the years, and I've never encountered that level of dust. I also had an issue with the room door. I was locked out twice and had to walk back to the front desk each time for assistance. One of the employees eventually walked back with me and showed me the "trick" to getting the door open if it happened again. Apparently, I needed to lift the handle while pushing the door forcefully. While I appreciated the help, that really isn't something guests should have to deal with. On my last day, I received an email asking if I was ready to check out. I normally just leave the key in the room when I leave, so I didn't think much of it. I saw the email at 12:09 p.m. (checkout is at noon) and immediately selected the option to check out. Later, I noticed I'd been charged a $50 late checkout fee for being just nine minutes past checkout. That felt excessive and left a bad impression. To end on a positive note, the staff was friendly throughout my stay, the food at the Cantina was very good, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure with plenty of hot water. Unfortunately, those positives weren't enough to outweigh the cleanliness issues, the problems with the room door, and the late checkout charge. Because of those experiences, I would not stay here again or recommend Texican Court to others.
No mention of pet fee on booking.com. advised them that we would be bringing pets and no mention of a pet fee. Checked out with a zero balance on our account. Later was charged over $172 for a pet fee. Beware of deceptive practices.
It was a place to sleep
Staff not willing to print a receipt for my stay because I booked with booking.com
Very unique and beautiful
This hotel has a great Texas vibe. From the courtyard to the rooms, everything was nice. We had a King room on the first floor. It was spacious. Loved the bathroom configuration with a great hair blow dryer. (sometimes the little things matter) The rooms are filled with snacks and drinks for a price, with the prices not super outlandish. The valet parking was $18 a night, which we were ok with. However, there is a Valet Service Charge that was added to the bill of $4.32 a night that we did not expect. We ate breakfast at the on site restaurant - Two Mules Cantina and enjoyed it. There was so much you can walk to from the hotel - restaurants, venues, community area. It was just a nice and convenient place to stay.
The Texican Court was a retro hotel in a downtown setting. It was easy to walk to places and the service was great! I loved the fact that I was provided an ice cold beer at check in. It was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend the place.

Staff are SO friendly and the food was exceptional. Thank you for making an Australian football fan feel so welcome
Love the vibe of this hotel. Everything in the property was thought of, from the beautiful robes, to the fridge, seating outside the rooms, to the small details of being welcomed with a cold beer. If I am ever back to Dallas, this will be my next stay.
It was very hot during our stay, would like an indoors hand out place.
空港、駅に近く、動きやすかった。 スタッフの方も優しく、飛行機トラブルで深夜のチェックインになったが親身に対応いただきました。 部屋も快適で安心して休めました。
This is not a nice place. It's like Motel 6 made up just enough to look trendy on insta. First off, the room was still not ready for check in at 7:30pm, despite check in starting at 3. I waited all day and could not get into a room until after 8pm. The air conditioning in the room is subpar at best. It's all style over function. The bed is uncomfortable, the air doesn't work well, can't sit on the old couch thing for longer than 2 minutes, no luggage rack, no clothes hangers with clips. Pictures of the room show carpet but there isn't any. The floor is a hard concrete slab with not even a throw rug. It kills your back to walk on the hard concrete floor and it's cold. So alarming first thing in the morning. If this was a normal price then sure but it is very expensive for a seemingly budget motel. 4 figures for 4 nights should get you more than this lipstick on a pig.
We like the location to the concert venue.
Feel like it was slightly overpriced (15%-20%)
Erg relaxte Texaanse sfeer, mooi hotel, relatief nieuw, beetje resort gevoel. Kregen bij binnenkomst 'beers on the house'. Super aardig personeel (shout out to Desiré van the Two Mules Cantina), lekkere cocktails en superfijn ontbijt.
Breakfast high price but good.
Clean unique style that is comfortable and beautiful.
The wood walkways are worn. Not a problem for us but could be an issue for someone on a walker or cane.

Was great, really felt like we were away! beautiful design, relaxing grounds/common spaces, great margaritas!
UGH. That was a sorry excuse for steak fajitas! Did they microwave the beef? Why was it that color?
Airy, cozy and centrally located in Irving. Nice amenities.

The aesthetic of the hotel is fantastic. Great layout. Fun property. The courtyards are great. We watched a great storm from the rocking chairs onthe balcony. (see lightening picture)
We liked the property very much. We came for the tequila bar but they were closed. The carpets need to be deep cleaned.
Clean comfortable, helpful friendly staff. Excellent stay

I absolutely loved everything about Texican Court — it’s pure magic! This perfect mash-up of old-world Mexico and retro motor court vibes is equal parts charming, cool, and seriously fun. Honestly, they had me hooked the second I saw that bright orange retro fridge! From the awesome pool and multiple fire pits to the rental bikes ready for adventure, every little detail is thoughtfully done. The rooms are fantastic too — colorful, stylish, and full of personality with barn doors, vintage furniture, fun light fixtures, and even the stamped toilet paper made me smile. Check-in was awesome — Dominique walked us straight out to the courtyard and personally pointed out our room, the Two Mules Cantina, and everything we needed. The multiple seating areas are perfect whether you want an intimate spot or to gather the whole crew. Texican Court has officially become our new go-to whenever we’re in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We can’t wait to go back! Oh… and do yourself a favor and try the Brisket Hash at Two Mules Cantina for breakfast — it’s outstanding! Highly, highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I regret that we could not stay longer.
The courtyard was beautiful. Has a lot of fun things like corn hole and connect 4. Lots of little lounge spots and outdoor fire pits. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on.

Swanky hotel, but the WiFi and cell service is so bad. Not ideal for a work trip. Front desk staff was also not ap;ogetic/helpful with the wiFi situation. It was suggested I take my work calls from the busy lobby since I didn't have service in my room.
I first considered staying at one of the larger resorts nearby, however I am so happy I chose Texican Court. This place is truly a gem. The decor and ambiance are spot on, beds are comfy, the fragrant check-in area, and staff were al incredible. I will absolutely stay here again
Todo
I picked this hotel because of it's proximity to the Toyota Music Factory Pavilion. You can tell just by looking that it is not the same as the other hotels in the area. I feel like you have to like the specific vibe to appreciate this hotel. I liked all the little touches to give the Southwest feel with Texas hospitality including a complimentary Lone Star at check-in. I seek out experiences with this ambiance so I enjoyed the aesthetics very much and that it even extended to the rooms with their lovely pink doors. This beautiful hotel with it's lovely pool area and social outdoor areas might be wasted on a rainy day however, if you are lucky enough to have a room with the rocking chairs outside, it might actually be quite a nice, relaxing day. We didn't try the coffee shop or the restaurant but I'm planning to make that a priority next time I stay here.
Everything about this hotel is awesome. We Love staying here when going to concerts at the Toyota Pavilion. The retro vibe in the rooms are on point.
Nothing
We had the best stay here!! The room was fabulous - the bed was comfy, the room was big & gave us plenty of space, and the A/C & ceiling fan combo allowed us to keep the room cold at night. But my favorite part had to be the bathroom! It has plenty of counter space, great natural light, and an amazing walk-in shower with great water pressure - I started and ended every day with a nice hot shower. We stayed 2 nights, and I feel like anything less is just not enough time to enjoy this place. We were in town for a concert at Toyota Music Pavilion, and this hotel was a great choice as it is just a short walk away from the venue and lots of great restaurants, including Two Mules Cantina, which has the best Chilaquiles!! We will definitely be back!!
Super Cute. Love this brand of hotel. Quiet, Clean, … and a very Friendly Staff.
Had to pay for late check out because I asked in advance. 2 guest that I was traveling with asked at check in for that check out and they did not have to pay a fee. Same policy across the board would be nice. Also coffee lounge staff was rude and watching videos on his phone while taking our order.
Convenience of everything on property and restaurant options close by.
Fun, friendly, funky property. I wasn't sure what I would think when I arrived - it's like you have been dropped into a movie set in the middle of Las Colinas. All the rooms face a courtyard or the pool with the doors opening to the outside. The rooms themselves are funky and adorable. I loved the bright orange Smeg refrigerator filled with drinks. The shower was large and had outstanding water pressure and the bed and bedding were comfortable. My room was quiet and had good temperature control. Like many hotels, they no longer have bar soap, which I miss, but they had make-up remover and nice liquid soaps. Everyone I encountered who worked here was extraordinarily friendly. It definitely made an impression. And the property is centrally located in Las Colinas. It is great for a smaller conference, which is what I was attending. The Toyota Music Factory is right across the street and it is convenient to several restaurants and bars. I definitely recommend the Texican Court.
Everything
No complaints
My door needed the locks battery changed. Had to wait 20 minutes for repair.
Cora at the front reception desk was excellent and so very kind and caring
Our favorite hotel for quick DFW visits has lost its charm. The staff have always been great but corporate has killed the vibe. The Texican has never been cheap, but the atmosphere and experience made it more than worth it. This changed on our most recent visit when we arrived and the front desk told us to go back out to the parking lot to scan the QR code to pay for parking. Valet charges I understand, but $18/night for self-parking in an unmonitored lot at a boutique hotel is not on par with my expectations/previous experiences. The next morning we went to the Two Miles Cantina like we always had done on previous visits to find the coffee station missing. The bartender then poured me a cup, gave me a tiny ramekin of cream, and informed me that $3.50/cup would be billed to my room. Maybe it’s because I remember how it used to be, maybe I’m just getting old and crotchety, but I’m afraid the real reason is that they’ve broken my trust. I loved staying at the Texican because I knew what to expect, and their philosophy on customer relations has obviously changed.
The staff and service is excellent. However the facility itself was disappointing. The toilets are very low to the ground. Additionally, it is impossible to block light from entering the room at night. The motel should extend the length of the curtain over the window. As there is a street light directly outside of the bathroom window, some sort of curtain or opaque film should be placed to limit the light. The bathroom door being closed does not do enough.
During our stay at Texican Court, Valencia Hotel Collection, we made it a tradition to have breakfast there every single morning, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and the food was consistently delicious, making it the perfect way to start each day. What truly made our experience unforgettable, though, was our waiter, Mario. From the very first morning, Mario greeted us with genuine kindness and a smile that immediately made us feel at home. His service was exceptional—attentive, thoughtful, and always going the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect for us. Mario is honestly one of the greatest people we met during our travels. He treated us with such warmth and appreciation that it felt like we were being welcomed by a friend rather than just served by a waiter. Every morning he remembered us, checked in on how we were doing, and made sure our breakfast experience was wonderful. People like Mario are what truly make a place special. His kindness, professionalism, and positive energy left a lasting impression on us, and we are so grateful for the care he showed throughout our stay. If you visit Texican Court, we highly recommend having breakfast there—and if you’re lucky enough to be served by Mario, you’ll understand exactly why he made our experience so memorable.
Great place with Mexican vibe. Cozy and clean rooms. Good prices for the night. Peace and quiet at night. Great service. Restaurant on the premises has great breakfast menu. Our group loved the food and great service . Totally a great small place for any getaway.
We really enjoyed our stay. We were on the bottom floor with a view of a courtyard. They had live music at the restaurant and we enjoyed listening to it. We had an event at the Convention Center across the street and was great for us being across the street.
The frig and table was full of drinks and snacks that you had to pay for if you wanted. It took up too much space in the frig.
Location is great. The hotel staff were awesome. The design layout and total decor were beautiful.

Beautiful and unique
Nothing comes to mind
What a treasure! I had a great stay at this simple, fun, comfortable hotel. The location is fantastic- within walking distance of nice restaurants and entertainment. The Texas theming is unique and fun. The king deluxe room is spacious, clean, well decorated, and quiet. The bed, sheets, mattress, and pillows are extremely comfortable. The service is friendly and competent. The rates are more than reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Las Colinas area.
The Texican is so unique in its style and ambience. The multiple outdoor spaces with fire pits and sitting areas and games were such a nice touch. The outdoor entertainment on Friday night was enjoyable. We ate dinner and breakfast at Two Mules Cantina and the food and service were amazing. It is within walking distance of the Toyota Pavilion the convention center and several coffee shops and restaurants. As the name implies, it is a mix of Mexican and Texas cowboy styles. We definitely plan to stay there again
This is a gem in the heart of Irving! The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and the decor is very unique and elegant. There is a huge fridge in every room packed with drinks and lots of snacks available for purchase. They gave us an eighteen-dollar credit to use per day at the restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is what I liked the best! Señor Mario at the restaurant made us feel really home. He was attentive, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely come back!
Our stay was great and the food was really good. Gerardo was very kind and an excellent server—he made the experience even better. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, with no excessive noise, which we really appreciated
Mexican Court Hotel offers a unique, ranch-style setup that immediately sets it apart from standard chain hotels. The rooms are arranged motel-style with exterior entrances, giving it a relaxed, courtyard feel rather than a traditional high-rise hotel experience. The overall design is very minimalist, intentional, and refreshing. The lobby area is particularly nice and welcoming. It is thoughtfully designed and I appreciated the small touches, like complimentary bicycles available for guests, which adds character and a sense of community. The gym was a standout and found it well-equipped, clean, and genuinely enjoyable to use. The room itself was very spacious and exceptionally well stocked, including a generously filled mini-bar, which is rare these days and a pleasant surprise. The bathroom has a distinct 1970s–80s aesthetic, which may feel dated to some, but it was clean, functional, and the shower pressure was excellent and strong, which really matters. Overall, it was a very good experience. Comfortable, stylish in a minimalist way, and different from the typical hotel stay. I would happily stay here again.
I love the "court" hotels and have stayed in their locations in Lubbock and now Irving. Great vibe, love the outdoor layout, the live music, fire pits... everything!
The Texas vibe, firepits, fireplace and decor make this a special place to stay. They also Have a shuttle which is great to get to nearby restaurants & shops. Shout-out to the staff for having a replacement key fob battery for my rental car.
It was pricey/night.
Upon arrival to the hotel, there was a very large box truck blocking the valet parking and we had to wait about 15 minutes for this truck to move as it was unloading supplies for the hotel. I was told that the valet parking was $18 per day, but when I purchased the valet by text, it ended up costing me $26.50. I don’t mind paying it but just tell me it’s going to be $26.50 upfront. As we walk from the valet to the reception, there were large oil spills from vehicles that we had to walk in to get to the reception. I was referred to this hotel because I was told the restaurant and bar were very nice and the food was good. That eveningI had late business meetings, and my younger daughter and I returned to the hotel to eat dinner. When we arrived at the bar, there was no one working in the restaurant, and there was only one bartender. Myself and a couple of other patrons were basically ignored by the bartender, and when I ask who I made the order for the food, she told me that I had to wait behind drink orders, and actually put another patron in front of me that was cutting in the line. The bartender served the other patrons and ran the clock out so that we were not able to order food and we had to leave the hotel to get dinner upon return from dinner. We arrived at The hotel where there was no valet parking which I had paid for and had to park my vehicle myself. Upon departure the next morning, we checked out of the hotel at the reception and had to wait a very long time outside due to there being no valet parking person available to retrieve my vehicle. It was cold outside, and I had my younger daughter with me. When I ask to have someone available to retrieve my vehicle I was told by the Assistant Manager to be more patient and that the valet person was helping someone else. I couldn’t believe I had paid for valet parking and not received it on two occasions. This is a very nice affordable boutique hotel with a lot of great and unique amenities, but they are definitely having an issue hiring service personnel to properly take care of their clients. I met with the manager Nico before I left and explain to him what had happened and he was very apologetic and ended up copying my stay. I appreciate the comp, but I would have rather just been treated with respect and had a better stay.
Absolutely amazing place! Thank you. Best rooms ever.
Convenient to venue.
Great location. Very Friendly staff Great food with Texas size portions . Big clean rooms . Thank you ................
I liked the room design and decor as well as the overall design and landscaping of the property, including outdoor fireplaces and seating areas
An absolutely wonderful hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the entire place was spotless, and the atmosphere was just perfect. Everything felt very well taken care of and thoughtfully designed. Overall, it was a fantastic stay — highly recommended!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Texican Court! The whole place nails that balance of stylish but not pretentious. The room was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and full of charming details — including a retro Smeg fridge stocked with a surprisingly reasonable and high-quality mini-bar. The courtyard was an unexpected highlight: cozy seating everywhere and a large fire pit that staff lit for us while we were relaxing outside — such a perfect touch. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making guests feel welcome. We ordered room service from the on-site restaurant and were blown away — truly some of the best Tex-Mex we’ve had. (We’ll probably write a separate review just for the restaurant!) Even though the weather kept us from enjoying the pool, it was gorgeous — definitely a place we’d love to lounge next time. The location in Irving felt upscale but relaxed, super clean, and close to plenty of amenities. We were right across from a very cool, modern convention center — great design and a fun backdrop. Considering the design, comfort, amenities, and overall vibe, Texican Court feels like a great value. It’s perfect for couples or groups who want something unique, comfortable, and a little bit special. We’ll definitely be back!
Excellent service, especially from our server Mario Urdapilleta at the restaurant. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean.
Great unique hotel. We’ve stayed here several times, and love this place!
