Nice clean room in an excellent location.
We were happy.
As a solo female traveler, I greatly appreciated the overall atmosphere and quiet commitment to safety baked into every interaction at Grand Hyatt Denver. The desk staff were patient, warm and supportive when I had travel-related issues with my card, gave me an upgraded room at no additional cost when they had run out of my originally-reserved room type (2 queen beds), gave me my room key with the number written down and did NOT say it aloud, and had a plethora of included amenities available including use of an electric kettle among other items available for use during my stay. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and the air conditioning was perfect. After checking out, when I was partway through the rest of my day before a return flight, I realized I’d left something in my room. One phone call and I was able to retrieve the item on my way to the airport. As a woman who travels most often alone, I very much appreciated the experience of feeling entirely at ease in a new city and Grand Hyatt Denver made that possible.
Located less than a mile to Coors Field
Loud street noise
Awesome quick service from Brennen and Matthew.
The Valet Tyler was a class act!! Professional and courteous!! And made sure I didn’t leave anything in the car I may need!!
Shower pressure too low. Water quantity coming out of shower head too small
Friendly staff, clean hotel, comfortable room - all conveniently located in downtown Denver. Valet services were especially helpful.
Service was fast and really friendly.
Great hotel with an intimate feel for a city hotel. Lots of places to gather with friends or alone to relax. Breakfast is exceptional, including the service. Wonderful location near the 16th street pedestrian mall which was great to grab a coffee or meal. Rooms were spacious. The high floor executive suite was incredible!
Great service! Josh and Hagan were fast and friendly!
This is a perfect location for downtown Denver. We walked to Coors Field for a game, stopped at a local winery shop and popular bar along the way! The hotel was super clean and everyone was very friendly and helpful!
Customer service is amazing. They acknowledged my birthday and did something special. They always have best service. Room was clean as well.
My friends and I went to High School on an Army base in Japan 40 years ago. I have worked for the Marriott in the Group Sales Department, attended other school reunions at other hotels, stayed at many different hotels and decided to stay at the Grand Hyatt instead of the reunion hotel. I have to say the Grand Hyatt in Denver has the best staff! Katie Bernacchi, Michelle Krasuski, Cameron, other Front Desk employees and Matt in Valet were amazing. Katie and the staff surprised us and upgraded our room, made beautiful personal welcome signs for us in Japanese including our friend who was recently diagnosed with cancer, got us Japanese fans, magnets, wine, and yummy treats. I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am to everyone at the Grand Hyatt in Denver. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s nice and you won’t find a better staff.
last minute booking for the Dodger game. good location in Downtown. 20min to Coors field if you hoof it. there is also the FREE 16th street bus that will take you to within 4 blocks of Coors. it came in handy when we had to trudge in 27 degree temps in April. the hotel is very nice. a well apportioned and spacious lobby welcome guests. the 2 queen room was spotless and well designed. the beds were comfy. there are a bevy of restaurants just a block away from the hotel. about 25mins back to the airport with no traffic.
For comparison, I stayed 10 days at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego this past June, and the difference is night and day. That property was well-maintained throughout; this one simply isn’t holding up to the same standard. One bright spot: the check-in staff were friendly and warm, and stayed responsive over the app via text to make sure our room wasn’t released even though we were checking in after 1:30 AM. Good service from the team, but it doesn’t make up for the state of the physical property. Adding photos so future guests can see for themselves what to expect.
Dylan and Tyler gave excellent service at the valet parking garage!
Matt in the valet went above and beyond and was amazingly kind and patient!!!!
My recent stay at the Grand Hyatt Denver was truly exceptional, and I have to give credit to the incredible World of Hyatt Globalist benefits that made it so memorable. We were upgraded (without even asking) to the Presidential Suite, and it completely blew us away — the space, the views, and the attention to detail were beyond anything I expected. Breakfast was absolutely incredible. The food was excellent, but what really made it special was the staff going out of their way to bring my daughter a toy — such a thoughtful, unexpected touch that made her feel like a VIP too. Little moments like that show how much this hotel genuinely cares about its guests, not just the loyalty program perks. Between the suite upgrade, the warm service, and thoughtful details for my family, this stay set a new bar for what a Globalist experience should feel like. I had previously stayed at the Hyatt Regency Denver Convention Center and although some of the ratings told me that the Grand Hyatt was "smaller" or "older" I found the Grand Hyatt to be much better in terms of globalist recognition, intimacy of breakfast, easier to access, and overall much better. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Denver.
Hotel's location is great. Lot's of activity going on! Sixteenth Street Free Ride is a plus.
Definitely a poor hotel. The staff were amazing, but everything else was a mess. Super hard beds (although wen I called down to he front desk they were able to assist with a gel topper), tiny tub and no hot tub at the pool, no room service, and no good restaurant. The bar closed down each night at 11. Things were not super clean, and I saw flickering lights and the elevator was pretty jerky. It just seems like there is not enough investment into what should be considered a luxury hotel. Great downtown location though. Very central.
The staff was amazing! So kind and helpful in every single department. The valet supervisor Malek did over and beyond his job ever day!
The bar prices were exceptionally high; however, they were also exceptional to drink! So even though the price was annoying it was worth it. My husband said his old fashion weed the best one he had ever had in his life. So I really don't know why I'm complaining!
Hotel was okay, wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. There is no hot tub, the pool closes too early, my room smelled like mildew, and the air conditioner didn't seem to work very well. The breakfast buffet they offer is $28, which I think is a little pricey. The market was nice, but it would be better if it had more sugar-free red bull options
We had a wonderful experience during our stay. At check-in we were granted room upgrade (to higher floor), 2pm late checkout and free parking (Denver Rockies Game Day benefit). World Cup final game started at 1pm on our last day do staff extended our late checkout until 3pm. Awesome customer service!!! Large, clean, comfortable, quiet room with X-tra large TV for watching World Cup final game. Fabulous stay!!
Nice rooms and everything was very clean and in good condition. The beds were a little hard for my taste. We asked to change to a room with two beds and we were warned about our new room being next to the elevators. I thought that would have been from people talking while waiting for the elevators and getting on and off, but the noise was from the *operation* of the elevators. There was a consistent "whooshing" noise from those, but it reminded us of the Wyoming wind, so it was no big deal for us. Pleasant and helpful staff all around. Excellent food and beverage at the catered events of the conference I attended, and everything seemed to be ready on time every time. Some of the breakout session rooms were a little cramped and did not have tables for a laptop or to easily take notes, but the breakout sessions were only for an hour and it was hard to predict which sessions would be more popular with our group of 500+. Overall, a terrific conference and four-day stay experience.
Great place to stay. Very spacious. Clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food at the Courier was yummy.
Hair on counter and sink in the bathroom when we arrived. No robe, extra pillows or blankets in room, although I could have purchased a robe or lotion if desired. It did have a coffee pot, iron and ironing board. Staff was overall friendly and housekeeping was communicative and helpful. Bed was comfortable, room temperature was fine, but room had a lot of street noise. Conference room facilities were fine, as was the food that was provided. Overall, I would attend another conference here, the location was good, but I would know what to expect.
Clean hotel. Minimal fragrance use. Great hotel shop for coffee and snacks. Everyone was so friendly! All of the valet, the young people at the coffee shop, the front desk. Easy location to all the local attractions. I must mention Matt, valet extraordinaire! He took the time to ask our plans as he brought our car. He made the best recommendation for our day plans. We took his advice and it turned out to be the best day of our trip. I fell after my suitcase wheel got hung up coming out of the elevator, and he ran to help me. All of the valet team is so friendly. Housekeeping was excellent. My room was kept so clean and the bed made so tight and crisp! The conference center was clean and easy.
Downtown Denver Grand Hyatt was wonderful, mini market and staff were so lovely and helpful, rooms were great, quiet and clean, housekeeping has expert sheet tuck skills. I really liked the auto lights throughout the room to assist when it’s dark. The valets really stood out, all were so friendly and helpful and sweet. Matt was especially helpful with finding us the best little hike to try out, and it was everything he said it would be. 5 stars Matt!
I went to LitRPG con and stayed here, it was a great hotel! And j would recommend anyone come to this hotel next year it was so convenient
Great location, clean property and rooms.
The AC wasn’t working correctly in our room, called multiple times and nothing was done about it (to our knowledge).
I was really excited to stay at the hotel, however that quickly faded. We checked in at night and decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. The customer service was terrible! After standing at the register for 15 minutes getting completely ignored by staff walking by. I finally asked the bartender if she could take my order and she said she could if I walked around the bar. The girl working the register in the cafe walked away and didn’t come back. This may sound petty but if you see someone standing, waiting for service simply say “I can help you over here.” Not make eye contact and completely ignore my existence. I ordered truffle fries and water. It was $21! I actually counted my fries, I had 26 shoestring French fries!! When I got them they were cold. So, I went back to the bar and told Valerii (very unpleasant) that they were cold. She told me they couldn’t be they were just fried. I literally took a fry out the container so she could feel it, I guess so she couldn’t take my word for it. She then apologized and she did offer to remake them but with her unfriendly behavior and my overall first experience I declined.
The service was excellent. Right from the valet to check-in to the restaurant staff, everybody were so warm and welcoming. We had a guest of honor applied to our stay. We got valet parking, upgraded to an executive room with 2 bathrooms and excellent customer service throughout. The staff at the buffet breakfast were great. Especially, Donald and Edith. Donald took special care to make us our Latte with extra care. Edith was very welcoming and pleasant. The hotel is in a great location. Hyatt brand is our home away from home. We loved our stay!
Outstanding service from Brennan and Tyler!
I enjoyed the Grand Hyatt Denver because the staff were professional and pleasant. The building was clean. I would go back to stay when visiting in the future.
This hotel was excellent, and I have been a lot of places. From the front desk to the housekeeping and food service, I was very impressed. The whole hotel was clean and the staff friendly, and if I were to come back to Denver, this is where I would stay.
We're having a fantastic time in Denver in no small part to the great employees here like Hagan, Matt, and Dylan who went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. We'll definitely be back!
Great location and awesome lobby with comfy seats and Giant wall screen for late night games and hanging out. Pleasant and helpful staff willing to help with anything from hailing taxis to grabbing us bananas!
Every time I called for the car, it was delivered promptly. Tonight the attendant was really friendly and accommodating!
Beautiful Hotel, we were upgraded to a suite which was spacious and comfortable and provided a great view of the downtown skyline. The hotel is very conveniently located and we were able to walk to dinner as well as enjoy drinks at a rooftop venue. There is no club lounge available at this location, which was disappointing for this caliber Hyatt.
Grand Hyatt was wonderful! The entire staff was phenomenal. Would like to personally mention the valet guys, Matthew and Dylan! They had no clue that I had just had shoulder surgery when they took over the loading of my bags. It was a great relief! The professionalism and courtesy is displayed by these two young men was top-notch. The two beds room that we had was fine for a family of four. Not quite enough storage for clothing, but we made do. The bathroom was a good size and easy to navigate through. The room was always very clean due to the outstanding cleaning staff. The location of the hotel was very nice as we were able to walk majority of the places we went. Never felt unsafe or disturbed by the noise level.
The rooms were kind of old.
Great customer service! The valet made our life so much easier especially when traveling with young kids.
Josh at the valet really took care of us right off the bat. Hotel was beautiful and clean
Excellent guest services and location. Within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The gym and indoor swimming pool are very nice.
Matt and Hagen were great at the belt for my business trip. There were kind and helpful.
Tyler and Damian did a fantastic job helping me with all
Damien and Josh did a great job my whole stay. It’s always a little nerve racking leaving a supercar at valet, but it was left in good hands.
Valet parking is excellent. Josh’s customer service was superior and his communication was clear and concise as he directed me where to go in the hotel.
Professional, efficient service from our Valet driver, Tyler
Tyler and Malik were incredibly helpful!
Josh was amazing! Top tier service from him.
Dylan and Matthew Valet did a great job and were extremely friendly
Service was amazing. Value.
Had a great stay. Matt took care of us in valet. Thanks for a great experience!
Great staff! Very comfortable beds and nice bedding. The hallway walls on the floors where the rooms are - the wallpaper needs to be upgraded (it gives the appearance that the overall rooms are going to be bad) but the rooms are nice. The conference room food was really good (nice salads/roasted veggies/meat selection was fresh). The restaurant staff was excellent, and the price of the Sunday brunch was very reasonable.
An excellent hotel for business with top notch accommodations, excellent staff. Cannot comment on its suitability as a base for tourism for the region.
Damien and Josh did a fantastic job as valets.
The location is convenient to downtown, with shops and restaurants in walking distance. The rooms were comfortable, but the furniture was pretty worn, the desk chair was torn, and the fridge cubby door hinge was sprung. Overall, it was comfortable, and the conference food was fine. Adequate comes to mind. The hotel does have a rooftop track and pool that I didn't use.
Josh the valet was awesome! Super quick and friendly!
Excelente ubicación el hotel muy limpio me gustó que tiene su propio restaurante el valet parking muy amable
I recently had a disappointing experience at the Grand Hyatt Denver. My main issue was not the room itself, but the way the stay began. I was genuinely excited to stay here, but that excitement faded immediately when the first thing I encountered was not a warm welcome, but a mandatory $55 parking charge. If you know downtown Denver, you know street parking is not a realistic option, so this felt less like an optional fee and more like a hidden cost. I would have honestly preferred the room simply be listed at $250 per night instead of $200, rather than being hit with extra charges before even checking in. It gave me the impression that the hotel is trying to nickel-and-dime guests instead of being upfront about the true cost of staying there. The cherry on top was the bottled water in the room. At many hotels, even basic motels, complimentary water is standard. Here, the bottles were $2 each. That may seem small, but after the parking charge, it reinforced the same overall impression: every little thing comes with an added cost. One other thing worth mentioning is the noise level. There were drag races happening on the street outside during the night. Is that directly the hotel’s fault? No. But if you are sensitive to noise or looking for a restful stay, it is absolutely something to factor in before booking. To me, this is a pricing and guest-experience issue. If the operational costs require a higher nightly rate, just be upfront about it. I would rather pay the real price from the beginning than feel like fees are being added along the way. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. If you are staying in downtown Denver, I would suggest looking at the Marriott or Sheraton instead.
I had a relaxing stay and really enjoyed my time in downtown Denver. My room was very clean, and the views were beautiful. A special thank you to Josh, the bellhop/valet, for his outstanding service. He was very helpful, assisted with my bags, and brought my car around quickly with a friendly smile. His professionalism and positive attitude made my stay even more enjoyable. I truly appreciated his excellent customer service and would gladly stay here again.
Beautiful hotel. Good location attentive staff
We heard sirens below until 2:00 am. We were on 15th floor.
My room had an awesome view to the downtown And the room was so clean.

Damian and Matt were friendly, professional, and extremely efficient in retrieving luggage. They worked as a team and made it effortless.
Dylan and Malek at the valet/guest services were the best. Nice people
Great location and amazing team. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a Sweet that blew our socks off, it made having family ina hotel for four nights so much better. We were lucky to have a “home away from home” at the Grand Hyatt Denver. Amazing run hotel, and well run. 10/10!
The valet parking was AMAZING!! The room was tidy. The staff was helpful. The beds were comfortable!
There was confusion between Booking.com and the actual hotel with the breakfast. I had 4 people staying but Booking.com said we could only have 2 breakfasts. Lots of confusion. Didn't end up eating breakfast at the hotel. I don't think I will be using Booking.com again, never had any issues like this with Expedia.
Everything
Nothing. Everything was great
The Grand Hyatt Denver is always a great experience. Clean rooms, excellent and well-trained staff and centrally located. Quiet hallways, nice spacious lobby with comfy couches. Easy self-parking, good food, well-stocked snack station adjacent to the restaurant for late night munchies. I don't stay at a lot of big hotels in the course of my travels, but I do whenever I'm in Denver, and the Grand Hyatt never disappoints.
Great stay, great location. The valet gentlemen were the absolute best! We were there for 3 nights and the car was always ready right away and they made it super simple to text down from our room. Tyler, Matt, Marcus and Brennan were so helpful!
It was a lovely stay! Everyone was very helpful. The valet guys Marcus, Matt, Tyler and Brennen were quick and friendly! Housekeeping was also so nice! I can’t remember her name, but one of the ladies during our stay 5/29-5/30 on floor 20 was so sweet!
Great location, they made our stay for the Morgan wallen concert amazing. The staff had Morgan Wallen activities for us and we love that they were playing Morgan wallen music. Valet service was amazing the staff at valet were so helpful Marcus, Matt, Tyler, Brenan, and Josh were so accomodating and gave us many tips on the city and how to get to various location's.
Very nice accommodations. Wonderful housekeeping. Tyler, Matt and Marcus were very helpful, attentive and friendly. Would definitely stay again if in Denver.
Matt with the valet desk was super helpful, very friendly and professional. First employee we encountered with a friendly smile.
Mediocre, and avoid the dining room. Breakfast was uninspiring for the price, and the service was hit or miss. Construction in the hotel was going on. Noisy.
I had much higher hopes for this hotel. There is nothing “grand” about this particular Grand Hyatt property. Others I have stayed at are much more aesthetically pleasing. This one is incredibly basic. The property is in desperate need of a facelift, inside and out. The exterior / facade of the building is not at all appealing, the insides of the elevators look and smell decades old, the interior of the rooms need a complete renovation…there is no minibar, no espresso machine, and the furniture feels very dated. All of the staff was courteous, but no one provided service that delivered a wow factor. Even the hotel bar doesn’t have the classy, elegant vibe of a “grand” property. Overall, the entire experience was lackluster, and I should have saved my hard earned points for redemption at a newer, nicer property.
Staff were great
Breakfast was terrible. Wish I never paid extra for it.
The check in staff was awesome and so accomadating! After traveling for 10 hours, she was able to give me an early check in!
Ideal downtown Denver location. Grand Hyatt is the benchmark corporate hotel for business. Meets all business expectations.
The hotel experience has been challenging. The staff is good, and the rooms are good. But I was travelling with a pet who is very scared of elevators, and whenever I have travelled with her, we've always used stairs. But apparently their stairs are under maintenance (there's no doorknob for them to open it). Which makes me think it is also a fire hazard. Anyways, my personal experience was terrible with this hotel, maybe just a one-time situation, but I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.
Excellent check in.appreciate Josh and Damien greatly. Polite, helpful and knowledgeable
Marcus, the valet attendant did a great job
Shout out to the wonderful staff. Esp Josh & Brennen at the valet
Great first impression. Valet (Matt and Hanner) were very welcoming and helpful. Quick check in and clean room
Great stay. Great room. Great valet service!
Noise level was not great during the night but, no fault of the hotel. I believe it was a homeless person outside our windows. Everything else was lovely, we started a tour with Collette at this location.
This is my 4th time staying at this hotel. Stay is great and quick to respond to any needs. I will be looking to stay here again.
Enjoyed my stay at a business conference. Hotel was nice and clean and centrally located. Allowed for early check in as we arrived earlier in the day.
Me and my husband had a staycation at the Grand Hyatt and everything from the rooftop tennis court and the Mother’s Day brunch was just perfect. Josh our valet made coming and going so fast and easy 10/10 recommend.
Marcus at guest services was so helpful. I have never used Uber before and he helped me get it all set up. I am older and he was so kind and patience. And so friendly and kind and never made me feel stupid. Thanks Marcus you are great at your job
Marcus was the best!!! He was such a polite and accommodating concierge!
To quote a review I saw for another hotel. This old gal is getting up there in years. The room was in very poor condition.Stains on the walls holes in the furniture, a broken door. Also, we had booked a corner room, but apparently that doesn’t mean you’re actually inthe corner of the building just in the corner of the hallway. All in all I would just stay at the regular Hyatt downtown and I would avoid the grand Hyatt.
The Grand Hyatt Denver offers good accommodation with friendly and helpful customer service. During my stay I slept well in a spacious and clean room. Beds were comfortable and I found the hotel to have low noise levels so sleep wasn’t disturbed. Although a small breakfast buffet, it was complete with everything you could want. I thought finding a table at busy periods might be difficult but I had no issues at all. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I did think the price of breakfast was quite expensive though so would suggest you get it included in your room rate if you can. The bar offers a good selection of drinks and are good value. There is a good atmosphere in the evenings too. The location of the hotel seemed pretty good and had a good selection of nearby bars and restaurants. It’s well located for the congress centre and theatre if you’re visiting those
This is a beautifully modern hotel with everything you need for a business trip. Large rooms with comfortable beds and linens, working desk and lounging chair. Onsite fitness center on the 4th floor and an outdoor track and tennis courts. The restaurant is convenient and delicious and the location is a short walk to the Colorado Convention Center. Staff were pleasant and the check-in was quick. I'll definitely return!
Josh and brendan are great thanks
We love staying at the Grand Hyatt Denver when catching a show at the Paramount! It's an easy walk to the the theater and the 16th Street Mall. The bar and service staff are always friendly and helpful.
Friendly staff
