Good location. The hostel is just one dorm so it’s really easy to meet all the other guests and make friends! Good aircon at night.

No breakfast & it would have been nice if the bunks had curtains for a bit of privacy.

房间只有晚上有空调，白天空调会自动关掉，一大早会被热醒。房间在二楼，厕所洗漱等都在一楼，一直要来来回回走真的很不方便。

I loved staying here and the owner of the place is so nice! Also the location is good! The hostel was comfy and clean and it had a very peaceful atmosphere

I would only say that if you are a solo girl traveling just be careful walking alone at night. It happened to me that I was walking to the hostel and a guy in a motorbike approached me and asked me where I am from and showed me a porn video and left. He did the same to another girl as well so I think he is used to this. He might be at the area so just be careful and do not respond if someone approaches you in a motorbike at night.

The property was really beautiful and in a great location

Not a lot of privacy since there are only curtains at the toilets and showers. Everytime when there is wind, they fly open..

Aircon was broken so it was really hot in the dorm. But it got fixed on the day I was leaving. Shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Nadia was amazing, the hostel is very clean and comfortable, I made friends there 😁

La limpieza del lugar. Había heladera, micro y aire en la habitación. Lindo patio. La ubicación está muy cerca de la principal aunque de noche es un poco oscuro pero no pasa nada. Las voluntarias unas genias y Nadia muy buena onda.

A modo de comentario para seguir mejorando (me consta que lo están haciendo) poner puertas en los baños y cortinas en las camas para tener mayor privacidad.

Everybody was so nice and it felt like a family

The floors in the door make noise every time someone gets up and walks around and the bathrooms are on the bottom floor. So when people pee in the night you hear them walk.

The location of the hostel is perfect. Everything in Chenang area is at a walkable distance including the beach, restaurants and shopping. The host Nadia was very sweet and gave us great recommendations of places to eat and to visit. The tours offered by the hostel are cheaper than booking it for yourself through external apps like Klook. So I highly recommend to book tours like the mangrove tour and the island hopping tour through Bunga. The hostel itself is very warm and cosy, it is a great value for money. Also, the two cats at the hostel are super friendly!

Leider war der Schlaf nicht so erholsam, wegen des Boden.

我很喜欢这里，喜欢这里的自然风景，和谐热情的氛围，以及超级可爱的小猫们。我想我会再次回到兰卡威，再次回到这里，我觉得门口那家餐馆很好吃，我很喜欢老板做的菜，遗憾的是我今天是下午3点的飞机，没有再次吃到，不过下次来我一定会再次品尝！

The volunteer was so sweet and kind and always happy to help, showers and toilets were always clean and are really nice. Close to Main Street!

My big deal breaker was the no curtains, this hostel was beautiful and I love majority of the people I met here but having no privacy or any attempt at noise protection from other ppl is definitely a struggle! I would 100% recommend this property to others but id also strongly suggest the business improvement of curtains!

Lovely stay at Bunga Hostel, you really feel like home. Nadia was super nice and helpful!

I liked the concept of being a female traveler only hostel - I really found sisterhood in the few days I stayed and kept in touch with the girls I met there. Nadia is a nice host and is in a good position in Langkawi

An advice: it should be cleaned a bit more often when it comes to bathroom and kitchen as many people pass in it - but overall a pleasant experience

O hostel è muito limpo, chuveiro quente, varal para roupas molhadas, e muito perto da rua principal e da praia. Ótima localização

Nao hà cortinas nas beliches, mas por ser um hostel apenas para mulheres, nao me senti incomodada.

Женский рай!🫶🏼 Самый чистый хостел из всех где я бывала, расположение супер, в трех стах метрах от пляжа, хозяйка хостела очень приятная и милая девушка, часто устраивает какие-то совместные активности. Рекомендую!

Eu adorei, é muito bem localizado você consegue fazer bastante coisa a pé, e o hostel em si é muito tranquilo e bem organizado, eu recomendo 🫶🏻

The owner was very helpful and texted me back even late in the evening to give me some advice. I liked the neighborhood too.

Everything was open, so everyone could just walk in. Feels kind of weird, especially as this is a female dorm. The girl volunteering wasn‘t really interested in helping.

I loved the vibe of the hostel! I think it was my favourite hostel out of all of them I had stayed at during my trip. The owner has cats too so beware if you have allergies or don’t like cats. One of the cats did love a snuggle in bed.

Not a big problem at all but a few times the water wasn’t working. It was just bad timing if anything but there are backup showers on the property and it’s just cold water which is kinda refreshing when it’s hot.

This place was the most friendly and beautiful place that I've ever stayed! I met a lot of lovely ladies and I literally felt my second home here! It's definitely the one of the reasons to come back to this Island again, and the beautiful Malay lady who own here "Nadia" took us to many local places! Everything was fabulous and I was in love with this place! Annie🇯🇵🌺

Loved everything about this hostel. Had a feeling of home right from when I arrived and the staff were happy to help if needed. It is about a 5 minute walk from the beach and you can book some local tours through the hostel owner as well.

It was my favorite hostel in all of my travels. I met really cool girls and the owner is a local girl too! The bathrooms are really nice. They have kitties and cats. I would stay here again!

The hostel is the best hostel of the world ! Super cosy, clean and comfy. The female only dorm makes it super safe and we can chat and meet people from all over the world so easily. Nadia, the hostel owner, is the sweetest person on earth. She provides breakfast and gives so many tips on how to travel Malaysia. I want to come again and stay 3 months ^^

Amazing home in Cenang! Great to meet other girls and Nadia the owner was amazing took us to the night market and arranged tours etc. It's in a hidden garden area (with monkeys) and a nice cafe next door. Highly recommend!

During my stay, I noticed a few areas that could benefit from improvement. The dorm lacked a functioning hairdryer, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the lighting at the staircase was not working, making it very dark and potentially hazardous when navigating the stairs at night.

The Host Nadia was so kind and helpful she even let me stay for 2 hrs after check out. Overall i liked how clean and quite the place was

The hostel was remarkably clean with all the necessary facilities provided like wifi, breakfast, coffee and tea.

I hadn't carried a three pin connector with me and all the sockets were three pin friendly. It got difficult to charge my electronic devices.

Very crowded the room actually smaller than from the photo.

Just 5 mins walk to the beach and the main road but super quiet. Really cool style and decorations. Nice outside area. Hosts was always easy to reach on whatsapp.

There are just shower curtains in front of toilets and showers, which sometimes blow open in the wind. Also in the room is not much privacy with beds standing very close and no curtains. Moreover, the beds are not the best since you feel every single movement of the person above or below you. It is very warm at night because there is only one aircon for the whole big room. The additional fan doesn’t help too much.

Nadia, the host, was really, really nice and helpful. She is a great host. The atmosphere at this hostel is also great, Super chilled. It feels like a school Trip as there is only one room. I would definitly recommend! It was really clean and had a Nice Common area.

The beds where not comfy and really squeaky. Also the aircon wasn't strong enough. It Would be good to fix the curtains for the bathroom and shower (maybe with velcro)

Love the location. Everything ia nearby. Food, mini mart, spa, beach, cenang mall. Locker to keep your personal belongings. Nadia always make sure the cleanliness of the hostel. You can even ask her to assist for scooter rental.

Such a lovely hostel. Close to the beach and shops, cute cats also around the hostel. Good place to make friends if travelling alone. Nadia the host is very nice and welcoming.

It was so eats to make friends here, it feels like a family since it is small but still social. The cats were amazing and overall it was a lovely stay.

Excellent location in the centre, just five minutes walk to the Cenang beach. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The room is nice and clean, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Wifi is available. The bathrooms are shared, beautiful, and clean. I enjoyed my staying very much, felt like a home, and would be happy to come back. Ms. Nadia is very friendly and nice. Tour services are available here.

The host Nadia is such a gem of a person and the hostel felt safe and welcoming! Met so many lovely people- definitely recommend this hostel to other travellers. The cats were absolutely fab too :)

Nadia is so friendly and helpful. She creates such a warm atmosphere in the hostel, it feels like a family away from home. She ensures that everyone is invited to local events so that you can have a proper Malaysian experience and organises great tours. The hostel is super clean even though lots of friendly cats hang around here (which I loved being able to pet them) and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the small details of the running of the hostel. I didn't rent a scooter but it's possible to do so here. It's really close to lots of great restaurants, bars and attractions. I loved staying here and 100% recommend it :)

If I'm being really picky, the stairs to the dorm can be slippy when it's rained and the shower curtains sometimes blow open when it's windy. These were not major issues though and Nadia has said she is implementing a solution for the stairs :)

The place is so cozy and clean. It felt so homie and safe. Nadia is very great host and welcoming. We even been invited to dinner with other guests. Definitely will come back and stay here!

I spent 6 nights at the hostel. Nadia is such a lovely person and host, she took us girls out on different activities such as a wedding, we celebrated Independence Day, went to the beach and had dinner and barbecue. The vibe at the hostel was very chill and homely. There was some breakfast (toast&jam) but also a fridge for own food. You could use the yoga mats as you liked. I look forward some hammocks to swing in if I come back ;)

Maybe a little stove for people who like to cook themselves :)

The place was close to the beach just five minutes by walking. The host Nadia was so welcoming and helpful throughout my whole trip. The cats living in the property are just too adorable and friendly. Overall i had a great experience and time while I stayed there. Would definitely recommend to others.

I like the environment of the hostel and what most important is the warm welcome by the hostel owner, Ms Nadia.I had to check in early and she made my stay comfortable and memorable.The second night I was there,they invited me and the other travellers for a bbq and chilling out session.I felt welcomed.I would come again if I ever go to Langkawi and stay at the same hostel.

Staying at Bunga Hostel is an experience in itself. As you might feel no need to leave from there, although the beach is so near :). The hosts, Nadia & Freddie are amazing, very attentive and passionate about their work and the island. What you can find here... ...a place that is in the middle of everything, but still quiet ...squicky clean toilets & comfortable beds ...local & inspiring breakfast 😀 ...the feeling of hanging out with your besties ...amazing sunrises & (no kidding) seeing the moon rainbow ...chance of discovering secret places in Langkawi ...and of course some Malay ghost stories, then this is THE PLACE!

Amazing stay. This is the only female hostel in Langkawi that is owned and runned by a woman, the lovely Nadia! I was able to do early check in and late checkout. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. Much cheaper to book things (mangrove, motorbikes, watersports, etc) through Nadiya than the hawkers on the beach. She helped us find amazing beaches, waterfalls, etc. The view from the room was beautiful, it is a guesthouse in nature truly! It has a very homey/nature-like feel. The cats are so cute too! This is a new place and Nadia has plans to add more details to it too. The showers have adjustable temperature so you can put it as you like. There is free drinking water and a little kitchen, snacks for breakfast, etc. Very centrally located to the beach, a very short walk to everything. I can't wait to return!

An amazing little hostel. The owner is so beautiful and sweet. Very helpful and great to chat to. A great sense of community within the hostel and all facilities were up to great standards. We loved it!!!! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful, fun trip in Langkawi and meet other many amazing gals :)

Beautiful guesthouse quiet, cozy and confortable in the middle of nature. I love this place. I will come back here soon. Really close to Indiana restaurant and cafe and the beach by walk.

This hostel was amazing especially considering it had only recently opened! The owner was so nice and gave us so many recommendations for things to do in the area. The facilities were great and we had everything we needed, it was very clean and in a good location near the beach :) I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting Langkawi.
