Le petit déjeuner moyen: couverts plastique et vaisselle en carton! On jette tout. La baignoire/douche avec rideau: pas commode. À savoir, l’hôtel propose un parking à 51 $ la nuit: service voiturier obligatoire mais pratique.

The size of the 2bed/2 bath suite was incredibly big. The hot chocolate packets were also really good

I had to wait and hour an a half to check into the suite. (unacceptable) because they stated it was still dirty. Only to get into the the room for it to be dirty. When we arrived back from our event we attended, the bathtub shower was broken, so a maintenance man had to come up and fix that. Finally get in the bed for that too to be uncomfortable. But I really trying to see the beauty in it all. However, I will NERVER stay here again.

Convenient to union station. The breakfast buffet had great choices and was hot.

There was a sticky bathroom floor, limited hot water, no cups in the room, the only ice machine was on the 18th floor and the reusable bottle filler did not work.

Holiday Inn Express Downtown Denver. Since being downtown there was an insane amount of police, ambulance and traffic noise. The room was very small, the bathroom need to ave the door open for every shower or it would be so hot and humid. Our room was extremely warm and when we informed the front desk, they placed a window fan on our table as a fix. The price is over 200.00 a night plus a daily charge for damages fee. This is poor management for the price they offer. Plus your vehicle needs to be parked for you for the fee of 51.00 dollars a day. This is ridiculous! July30,26-August 1. So disappointed!

It was so meh… I’ve never had issues with Holiday Inn until now. It’s generally very clean and well kept but this one was very shoved together and there were so many problems. There isn’t A/C, it’s on central air which means it was hot and muggy, they gave us a box fan if it was too hot. In our first room the shower only ran only cold, the tub didn’t drain and the toilet wouldn’t flush, they moved us to a new room which was slightly better but the water went from zero to scalding hot in a few seconds and was very hard to cool down once it was that hot. The paint in both rooms was peeling off the walls and it just was not the cleanly you would expect. We didn’t have a fridge or microwave in the first room, the second room there wasn’t a dresser and the night stand drawers were hanging half off. The beds in both rooms were very hard and not comfortable. There is only valet parking in the building so you can not self park unless you find parking elsewhere. Not a problem if includes included in your room stay like ours was but lots of people had issues with it. 2 other people during our stay had to be moved rooms due to issues in there’s as well. They do have water dispensers with fresh cold water which was nice but the ice maker was always out of ice. The best part of our stay was how amazing and friendly the staff was. They were very accommodating and quick to get on problems but there were so many problems they wouldn’t have had to deal with if the hotel was kept up to standard by the owners.

We couldnt check in due to the hotel system being down. There was no microwave or fridge so we had to throw out our food and drinks. But the biggest thing was it was soooo hot in the room. Our room was 79 degrees the whole stay. The staff didnt seem to be concerned that it was hot. To make it worse, the windows didnt open and the rooms were small making the space feel so stuffy and claustrophobic.

Stay: July 17-22, 2026 - Guest Fernando Trueba - Rooms 766 and 1266 - Booking via eDreams. Booked at Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown, 1715 Tremont Place, Denver, CO 80202. Room 766: AC completely not working, room at 33°C / 91°F at night, impossible to sleep. Only solution offered were 2 loud floor fans blowing hot air. Video proof available. After complaint, staff kindly moved me to Room 1266 with AC. Thank you for that. However, Room 1266 now has NO electricity / light during early morning hours. Two major failures in two different rooms during same stay. Reported both times at front desk. Basic services should work. Waiting for written incident report and compensation for affected nights. Location is great and staff is polite, but maintenance needs urgent improvement. I have photos and 3 videos of both issues

I was put in one room the AC didn’t work so my first night was hot. Second day I got moved to another room and the AC in that room didn’t work either so all 3 nights I stayed I slept hot and all they did was give me fan. Horrible experience won’t do that ever again

I would strongly discourage anyone from staying at the Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown. This property failed on several basic hospitality standards, and the overall experience was incredibly disappointing. The rooms are dated and substandard, the service is indifferent at best, and management appears completely unconcerned about addressing guest issues. The first major problem was the hot water. Each morning, it took approximately 10 to 15 minutes of running the shower before hot water finally arrived. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, the explanation I received was simply, “It’s an old building.” That was the entirety of the response. Hot water is not a luxury amenity—it’s a basic expectation for any hotel guest. The fact that this issue is apparently known and accepted by management speaks volumes about their commitment to guest comfort. The second—and even more frustrating—issue was the air conditioning. Guests should be aware that the thermostat in the room is essentially useless because the building centrally controls the temperature. During our summer stay, the room remained uncomfortably warm throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. We contacted the front desk and were told an engineer would be sent to adjust the system. No one ever showed up, and the problem was never resolved. We spent the night tossing and turning in a hot room after a long day of travel. What made the experience especially frustrating was not just the problems themselves, but the complete lack of urgency or concern shown by the staff. There was no effort to offer a solution, no follow-up, and no indication that guest comfort was a priority. For the price charged, this hotel delivers an experience far below what travelers should reasonably expect. Between waiting 15 minutes for hot water, sleeping in a room that felt stuffy and overheated, and receiving little more than excuses from the staff, this stay felt like a complete waste of money. There are far too many hotel options in downtown Denver to settle for this one. I will never stay here again and would recommend that prospective guests look elsewhere.

Location was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good selection. Comfortable beds and nice shower. We were kindly upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite as our original booking for 2 queen beds had no rooms available though we had booked 3 months in advance

$51/day for car parking. The lighting over the bed wasn't great so we mainly used the lamps. There was a tv remote in the lounge that didn't operate anything so we used the bedroom remote.

This place is terrible! I booked my stay here as part of a large business delegation, and I wish I hadn’t. The hotel has central air, meaning that there is no control in the room over the temperature. My room is HOT. When I called the front desk to have the “engineer” come up to fix it, nobody answered the phone. I had to go back down to the front desk to get the “engineer” to come to my room. The air conditioning never came on. No air blows through the vents. Their solution was a box fan! It’s 90+ degrees every day I am here! Then they have the nerve to charge $3 for a bottle of water, during a heatwave in a room with just a box fan! The ice machines don’t all work. The floor is filthy. I took my socks off and then realized I had to go to the bathroom. I looked at my feet before I got in bed and they were black. There are no wall sockets near the bed so plugging anything in requires extension cords, which isn’t helpful when one of the two plugs in the room is being used by the box fan. Several of my colleagues have lost power during out stay.

Advertised a pool on site but there is not one. Also did not have AC that worked - we were given a fan. Valet parking not included in price. Overpriced.

Parking there is terrible and wish I would’ve known that it was only valet parking that costs way too much for what it is. I ended up having to use a 3rd party for parking, which is not ideal.

The breakfast was excellent and the kitchen staff were superb. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and the ability to grab a coffee at any time of day was a nice touch.

We had two stays at both ends of a 16 night trip. The first room struggled to cope with the air con and the second room was only marginally better. Not good with the high outside heat

They cancelled without a notification or intimation

Hotel by name however certainly not by service it feels as it is a cost center and nothing more. I am very limited in my ability to walk around so I had no other choice but using the very expensive car park. Staff I dealt with could not care less whether or not I was there and the behavior was the same with other customers. Staff speaking to each other in front of you in Spanish as if you are not here. I waited 10 minutes until someone showed up at check out as she was having breakfast. Amenities wise they have a corner where you can buy snacks most of it was empty. Bedroom was ok, the phone did not work and the tv was so flimsy that you thought it was made of cardboard. The best was the location of the toilet flush which took me a while to find just above the sink!

The location is great and the staff is friendly. The beds were comfortable and there were enough pillows!

They have central air conditioning. That makes it really hard to stay comfortable in your own room. No mini fridge in the double bed room. That is a major negative for people who are in town for a while and want to eat their leftovers or store simple snacks.

The room itself had several issues. The sheets had visible dirt and black stains, the room was consistently hot with almost no airflow, and after maintenance attempted a repair, the only solution offered was two box fans. We also paid for a city-view room, but our room faced away from the city. The most concerning issue was the elevator. On two separate occasions, my key card would not allow me to access my floor, leaving me stuck riding the elevator until I could get assistance. What frustrated me most was the lack of response from management. They carry a welcoming atmosphere but I brought these concerns to their attention during my stay and felt they were largely brushed off rather than addressed and because I booked third party they treated me like my issues were mundane. I understand that issues can happen at any hotel, but the combination of cleanliness problems, maintenance issues, elevator access problems, and poor customer service made this one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. I’m giving it two stars because the location really is convenient and nice.

Staff and room were nice. Had no issues with hot water, volume if other guests or any other issues.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! AC doesn't work. When I went to front desk to complain, they stated maintenance would be up to fix. Their idea of a fix.....leaving a box fan in the room. Went down the next morning and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely rude, stated that since I booked through a 3rd party they would have to help me. SERIOUSLY, I am at the hotel right now and there is NO AC what exactly will the 3rd party be able to accomplish? Send their own maintenance person out? This hotel doesn't give a CARE about their customers if they booked through a 3rd party. That was brought up to me several times while trying to get resolution. "I see you booked through a 3rd party, we are unable to assist you was the response I got over and over, then the gentleman at the front desk stated I could just cancel and find another hotel. Again seriously why is this person giving me a hard time about their HORRIBLE rooms with NO working AC. I even asked him so since I booked through a 3rd party I don't deserve working AC? After going round and round with him, another front desk person was able to move me into a room that had a working AC. Not sure why that was never offered in the first place. Hotel rooms are small, dingy and dated. Non-working AC seems to be the norm as another customer was complaining when I checked in. Telephone didn't work in room and the hot water didn't work well at all. Save yourself the headache. DO NOT STAY HERE!! If you do then book direct because if you book 3rd party they don't care about you or fixing anything with the horrible rooms. If I could give them zero stars I would

Easily the most uncomfortable hotel stay I have ever experienced at Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown by IHG. From check-in, I was informed I would not be able to control the room temperature and would need to rely on the front desk for adjustments. My room was extremely cold upon arrival, and repeated attempts to reach the front desk went unanswered. I went downstairs to report the issue and was eventually moved to another room, where I was informed I could control the temperature. However, even in this room, it remained uncomfortably cold and the thermostat did not properly function in heat mode. I ultimately stayed only one night, which I was relieved was all I had booked. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who expects basic comfort or a reliably functioning room temperature system.

Our shower did not work. We complained to hotel staff. They sent a maintenance person up to look at the problem. The pin you pull up in the faucet was stuck. The maintenance person pulled it up with significant effort. He noted it was very difficult to engage. He did not liberate it. Simply said it was very difficult to operate and went on his way. We could not operate it and, consequently, could not use the shower. As such, the hotel did not meet its advertised standard. The front dersk offered no compensation.

Breakfast was good, location is good.
