I like the place to stay but is difficult to find a ride for commute

Friendly staff and my family enjoyed our dinner very much.

Great staff nice restaurant and pool.

Cold water for days due to lack of customers until weekend. Then when more people showed up they turned up the centralized system. We had to skip shower two days.

The property was very clean and the staff were amazing especially Grace who made sure we were taken care of every morning at breakfast! Very memorable stay for me and my family!!!

Super hôtel, très calme et confortable. Les chambres sont spacieuse et bien équipées. La piscine est super. Le personnel est très sympathique et professionnel. Bon petit déjeuner avec du choix. L'hôtel n'est pas situé dans une zone touristique. Il est préférable d'être véhiculé pour plus de simplicité. Nous avons aimé cet emplacement et ses petites adresses locales pour dîner.

The room was mostly clean and comfortable size. Shower was set mostly at warm [not hot]. Staff decorated the room for our special event. The staff was mostly friendly and greeting us daily and even set a place for us at breakfast. Food was prepared mostly in accordance with our diet. The hotel staff was helpful in getting transportation. Not many guests at the time so not too crowded. Pool was clean and comfortable.

We arranged transportation from the port to the hotel. However, the driver was late and we were "attacked" by the 'tourist taxi terrors' at the port...=) We had to call the hotel a few times! Then had to look for the them since they were now in an uber private car rather than their hotel van. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told the driver wanted more than the agreed amount previously arranged. Thankfully the hotel manager sorted out the issue. =) Also, our bathroom toilet was already leaking the first day and thankfully was fixed swiftly by the staff...=)

Don’t Let the Distance from the City Stop You from Booking This Place A quick look at the map tells you Hotel Gabriella isn’t in the city center—and that’s exactly why it’s so good. It strikes the perfect balance between peaceful quiet and modern comfort. The hotel is stylish, the pool is awesome, and the rooms are spacious and incredibly comfortable. Plus Grab/Pedi are very cheap in the Philippines.. Every room comes with air conditioning, hot water, a hair dryer, vanity desk, and a balcony—everything you need for a relaxing stay. The staff are polite, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Honestly, there’s nothing negative I can say about this place. If we ever visit Bohol again, Hotel Gabriella will definitely be our home away from home. Highly recommended—book it without hesitation.

Loved it all

The property was beautiful. Modern new and clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was very delicious with many choices. We checked out before serving breakfast and they even packed our breakfast to go. The pool area is beautiful and you can relax and swim there after activities. We would not hesitate to come back. Thank you everyone for making our stay perfect 👌!

The hotel is “decent” but priced 2x what it should be. From 7am-9am I couldn’t sleep because of the smell of burning trash coming in from outside, even with all the doors shut. I actually put on an N95 in bed. Neighbor property plays loud bass music until at least 3am. Hard to sleep. Curtains are blackout but let in a lot of light around the edges. Towels worn out and coarse. Poor water pressure, slow to warm up. No hand soap in the bathroom. Extremely harsh bright-white lighting. Thin walls between rooms. All rooms open to “grand lobby” so many will be noisy in the morning.

nice stay at a quiet time in this small hotel. WIFI was poor and the hotel should not be advertised with it until it is improved as we got less than 1Mb and very intermittent service. Breakfast was good but may not be to all Western tastes as it is local fare but we enjoyed it and a couple of reasonably priced restaurant meals there in the evening. Bars and restaurants are 1 to 2km away although tricycle service is good nearby on the main road. Nice pool area but i dont recommend eating or sitting in the pool area in the evening unless you are resistant to mosquitoes. Al in all a nice four days

Breakfast was cold eggs taste like rubber

It was relaxing. Rooms were big with good AC. Helpfull staff and a beautiful pool! The roomservice prices were well priced!

The walls can be relatively thin between rooms. Luckily they moved us when the neighbors were having a loud party. The hotel is also a bit further away from anything to do so taking a tricycle/toktok is a must.

Breakfast was big and delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful with tours and rent a car. The hotel is very hide and a lot bit far away to centre

Nothing complains

I liked that the staffs are very attentive, the fact that it's away from the roads make the stay as peaceful and quiet as I wanted it to be.

I feel bad I booked at a time where they were getring the pool treated so it wasn't open yet. Also, I get hungry at around dawn and I couldn't get anything delivered or go out to go to the 24hr fastfood place because the gates close before 12 mn.

The staff were super friendly and they arranged transport for us, scooter hire and transfers inbetween the port & nothing was ever too much for them and they made our stay extra lovely! The facilities were great! The room was spacious and very comfortable and the pool area was very relaxing :)

I think breakfast could be better, maybe if there’s options for guests to choose from as the regular breakfast didn’t have many options.

Since the room we got doesn't have a bidet, the front desk upgraded our room to a Executive suite. It was huge and have a nice view from the terrace overlooking the pool. The beds are comfy and the airconditioning is good. (They said they are upgrading the toilets and will soon have bidet in all rooms)

Food in the restaurant. The breakfast though included is a joke. Just basics, eggs, rice and a sausage. Rooms are too small to accommodate 4 people, especially the furniture, which is not sufficient. The hotel is secluded, rather far from the city centre. The pool is fine, but the stones surrounding it are extremely slippery when wet, very dangerous for a fall (I did).

Our room had the view of an empty lot! The bathroom floor mat was an old towel with big holes! I thought it was one of the regular towels so I took it down to the reception and was told then it was for the floor; I commented this is not a good impression! First time I’ve seen it for sure!

- they were accommodating at breakfast and gave us western options - the room was very spacious - the staff (particularly in the restaurant) we’re lovely and accommodating. - laundry was quick!

- pretty out of the town and you need a taxi to go anywhere at all. This makes food a bit more difficult also. - not a lot to do in the area - the pool wasn’t the cleanest and there were only 3 beds at the pool so we had to sit on a normal chair which kind of ruins it a little.

Shay (I’m not sure if the spelling is correct) . She let us use hotel’s cellphone so we can talk to the driver who will pick us up in cebu. Staff are all friendly & accommodating, if we need a tricycle to go to ICM they get it for us. The breakfast was not that good though. One thing that disappointing when we ask for a tour package the manager said she will give us “Inova”. But end up a car because she let the foreigners get the Inova. Bathroom was so small & shower room was leaking. Aside from that, everything was ok.

Spa needed better cleaning, breakfast is set, no options to choose, cold breakfast too.

A little more choice on breakfast would have been great. But overall still an acceptable breakfast if I exclude those greasy sausages on a couple days. Also the almost steady smell of your burning garbage in and outside the room was not pleasant on during the time spent in the room or under the covered pool area. A different location to burn the garbage could be helpful.

breakfast very good, staff very helpful. disappointed that they had very little bar experience, ie no mixers for whisky, so I stuck to a beer when aia wanted one., a bit annoying that they thought us from the west drink our whisky straight!!this however seems to be a problem at a lot of hotels in asia. on a good note the restaurant was open for dinners, though the menu was limited and they were always running out of choices.

if you want to get anywhere you will be walking in the road, be careful. the hotel will call for a tuk tuk (tri cab) or a taxi to collect you and take you into Tagbiliran centre. the ICM (ISLAND CITY MALL) is the one place where everybody goes to shop and eat. the seaport area is a throng of activity and constant noise, a lack of restaurants there, only taxi drivers trying to get you into their cab!.Basically I felt that the hotel is too far from any beach or touristy areas.

Beautiful hotel entrance with winding staircase, tiled floors everywhere, rooms are clean, swimming pool is very good.

The room was clean and spacious. The staff were good, just disappointed with the 10% service charge for food in the restaurant even for Hotel guests. Appliances were available, but not plugged in especially for the fridge that we need to move it out to reach wall/back socket. Heated shower is working well- awesome. Overall, its not a bad stay.

Breakfast food are not your choice or no other choices . Whatever the chief have cooked that’s what you get.

Don’t expect anything close by. It’s all residential. Other than that, it’s a nice place to stay, friendly staff, clean hotel. Stay away with the “homemade ice cream”it’s not ice cream at all. Lol
