The room was good, the personnel was lovely and really helpful . No parking but the valet took care of my car

The breakfast at 7 (could be 06.30, it would be perfect). The share space could be a little more modern furnished

Il personale in reception (in particolare Vito ) Gentilezza , riservatezza, disponibilità professionalità sempre in ascolto e sempre pronti per qualsiasi esigenza. Qualità del cibo a colazione eccellente . Luogo magico , storico e accogliente ben curato.

La famosa libreria interna era chiusa al pubblico per lavori purtroppo . La selezione dei the’ in camera dovrebbe essere uguale a quella della colazione, per il livello della camera ( invece il the’ in camera è commerciale da banco del supermercato/the’ a colazione ottima Qualità ) . Ottima disponibilità di acqua in camera (3 bottiglie ) Mi spiace che non sia previsto un cadeau / omaggio alla partenza sarebbe bello un qualcosa di tipico, ma anche dell’acqua brendizzata andrebbe bene, il livello dell’albergo lo consente .

Breakfast was very good. The hotel provided a very high standard of choices and service. Our room was very spacious as we stayed in a deluxe room and the location is very central to all of the main sights and shopping in Palermo.

I don't have any negative comments as I enjoyed all aspects of my stay.

Location was close to the main attractions. Just out enough to be quiet and away from the hustle and bustle . The atmosphere of the hotel was serene and peaceful. Rooms were beautifully furnished with a big comfortable bed and pillows. Turn down service was also included. Was worth the value of the price. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Hotel Et Des Palmes. The hotel itself is truly beautiful, full of character and history, and its location is excellent for exploring Palermo. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the breakfast was also very good. There was one small issue at check-in: the Junior Suite we were initially given felt surprisingly small, even smaller than the standard room our daughter was staying in. However, when we mentioned it, the hotel immediately upgraded us to a wonderful room. We really appreciated how promptly and generously they handled the situation, and it made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily recommend Grand Hotel Et Des Palmes. A beautiful hotel, a fantastic location and, above all, a very friendly and attentive team.

I recommend this hotel for its central location and for the beauty of the building. The entrance is majestic and the rooms newly refurbished. The reception area, housekeeping and maintenance are truly 5 stars, impeccable, top service. Also the food, at breakfast and at the restaurant. But it’s missing an experienced maitre coordinating the staff in the dining areas. At breakfast waiters are lost, no one in the entrance, groups chatting in corners and 15 minutes for a cappuccino. Or they pass in front of you not seeing you in an empty room. At dinner they shouldn’t mention prices at the table, we invited guests and they asked information about a dish that was in the degustation menu and they wished to taste. The answer was about the cost and this made us feel, inviting them, very uncomfortable. The staff should be trained on this in a 5 star hotels. Little things that happened and that can be easily improved with an experienced maitre, but don’t change the overall positive impression and we’ll come back for sure. I highly recommend it.

A very enjoyable stay at this elegant historic hotel in the heart of Palermo. The building is beautiful, with a wonderful atmosphere and plenty of character, while the rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore Palermo on foot. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful throughout our stay, and the overall service was very good. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a good selection and a pleasant setting. Overall, a lovely experience and a hotel I would happily recommend. There are a few small details that could be improved, but they are minor compared with the many positives.

The most caring and accommodating staff that went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was perfect. Everyone was so pleasant to deal with. The front desk and concierge were 5 star and more. Thank you Vito, Vivian, Antonio and everyone else! Location was perfect and the rooms were clean with exceptional housekeeping.

I've reviewed many hotels and I don't think I've even mentioned the shower. However, this shower was so spectacular I have to lead with it. In addition to the adjustable hand wand , there is a super sized rainfall shower head with a very strong water flow, much stronger than any hotel shower I've ever experienced. However, here is what really made it special. If you look in the upper left corner of my photo you will see a small shelf. From this flows a powerful cascade of water. It is so strong that it will massage your back. For a European hotel, the room was very large, as was the bathroom with twin sinks. The hotel common areas are very attractive. We dined in the restaurant and had an excellent meal. The breakfast buffet was extensive and included a chef to make omlettes or other egg dishes. All the staff were very friendly and accomadationg. Onr thing I had not seen at other hotels is when settling the bill there was a line for tips for the staff. Had I known this I wouldn't have struggled to get coins to leave for housekeeping, breakfast waitstaff and bellmen.

The hotel is located near the center of Palermo. The hotel is old but very nice renovated rooms. The service is amazing as well as the breakfast buffet. The terrasse in the 5th floor is amazing as well. Food is excellent.

The restaurant team provided attentive and flawless service, ensuring a wonderful start to my day. The food selection was outstanding, featuring a massive variety of fresh, high-quality sweet and savory options that showcased the best of Sicilian flavors.The combination of its prime location on Via Roma, beautiful interiors, and a truly dedicated staff made my 2-night stay unforgettable. A really high quality experience. our second stay there. The hotel celebrates its 150th anniversary next year. Fabulous, friendly, helpful staff. Amazing building and decor, the height of elegance. Great location five minutes from Teatro Massimo. Vito was kind enough to show us the amazing Wagner suite, where the composer lived for a year - the story goes that he left without paying the bill! One slightly disappointing thing is that the amazing bar (where breakfast is served, pictured) is closed in the summer. It's such an amazing space it would be great if you could enjoy a nice Martini there all year round!

The hotel is not in a nice location. The rooms are designed very poorly and the bathrooms are too small...There is nothing in this hotel that deserves 5 star. I was really shocked for what we have been charged and what we have got. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at this hotel for our 30th anniversary. Upon check-in there was no welcome or celebration gesture from the hotel staff even we booked this hotel 10 months in advance indicating we'll be celebrating our 30th anniversary. Also, there was no resolution to our previous email request for refund for one night as we had to check out a day early to attend a family funeral back home. We felt the hotel and room is overpriced and expectations were not met for 5 stars hotel. We will not be returning to this hotel in the future as we were really disappointed with our stay.

This is of the old hotel tradition with a vast lobby and sitting rooms, big dining rooms, and excellent service. They have modernized a little with new bathroom design, and an outside upper level terrace dining experience. Given you are in the middle of the city bustle, it is quiet and a safe refuge. Walking promenades with shopping and hundreds of dining options are two or three safe blocks away. The staff was so charming and friendly. The front desk remembered us all three days, and visited about our day and interests. Everyone was excellent. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is not the fault of the hotel. The city has grown and blocked the view. So you sit on the upper terrace and cannot see the harbor/water. The location is city central, without a view. But we were touring all three days, so view from the hotel was not important. But for some, it might be.

Beautiful property, wonderful service from the staff and excellent breakfast

The hotel is meticulously clean, well appointed, large rooms and stunning salons in the stile liberty. Location- excellently located near the teatro massimo and everything is 15 minute walk from the hotel. Staff was very friendly. Drinks of the terrace are delicious but sadly the view is only visible when standing. The breakfast was excellent. I can't fault it, but to me, it was missing a spark of something which made it slightly clinical. However, this is a matter of personal preference and overall the hotel is excellent and would recommend to anyone.

We stopped for cocktails and to experience the atmosphere, and visually the place feels full of old-world elegance and history. The cocktail presentation was beautiful and the bar area itself is definitely worth seeing. At the same time, the hospitality experience did not completely match the luxury image of the surroundings. Service was polite, but felt a little distant and lacked some of the warmth and attention you often expect from a truly exceptional luxury hotel bar. Still, it is a beautiful place to visit for a drink in Palermo, especially if you appreciate historic interiors and classic grand hotel atmosphere.

The hotel was decent overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement. The room was clean, but a bit outdated and lacking some basic amenities you would expect. The staff were polite, though service felt a little slow at times. Location was convenient, which was a plus, but the overall experience didn’t fully meet expectations. It’s an okay option for a short stay, but not something I’d strongly recommend.

They showed me my initial room and when I expressed some misgivings. I was immediately upgraded and made very happy every single staff member has done everything possible to help us with restaurant reservations booking a wonderful tour guide arranging a Driver and the service in the dining room and the food were terrific. Nothing was left to chance this was a true five star experience.

Although on Tripadvisor, the reviews seemed good and the hotel claims to be five star, we were very disappointed in the quality and condition of our accommodations for the price that we paid. We had a suite for over US$1000 per night. The suite had bare walls, damaged, inexpensive, furniture, and the general facilities/hallways leading to our room were in disrepair. We spoke to the manager about our concerns. Although he was very cordial and professional, he stated that the entire facility was slated to be remodeled in January 2027. Although he offered us a change of rooms, knowing that all the rooms needed to be remodeled, we declined his offer, and found other accommodations that were more in line with the value/quality that we expect. We would recommend that you not stay at this hotel until they have completely finished their remodel and have received positive review.

Selten hat man die Gelegenheit in einem so historisch bedeutendem Hotel übernachten zu können. Richard Wagner hat hier mehrere Monate verbracht und Teile aus seiner Oper "Parsifal" komponiert, und kein Wunder, ist es ein fantastisches Hotel, wo man gerne seine Zeit verbringt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet (sehr leckere scrambled eggs und auch Lachs). Lage war sehr gut, nahe zum Teatro Massimo, der grössten Oper in Italien und drittgrösste in Europa. Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt und kommen nächstes Mal sicher wieder.

Kahvaltı güzel ve iyi bir sunum vardı. Ancak çeşit olarak yetersizdi. Peynir çeşidi olarak sadece ricotta ve suda mozarella vardı. English breakfast olarak verilen baked ham , beans ve scrambled egg lezzetli ancak ısısı ayarsız ve soğuktu. Şaşırtıcı bir şekilde İtalya'da içtiğim kahvelerden en az memnun kaldığım yer bu otelin kahvaltısında içtiğim kahve idi. Yine de genel olarak memnuniyet vericiydi
