Naples Grande Beach Resort

Stayed 5 nights in March 2026. The hotel is simply unremarkable—nothing stands out. Food was poor across the board. The beach is nice, but it’s ¾ of a mile away—you’ll need to walk or wait for a golf cart shuttle. The real issue: I ordered one (delicious) piña colada at the pool bar ($16.96 on 3/21). The staff decided to hook themselves up with a 383% tip ($64.94) without my consent, bringing the total to $81.90. I mean the service was meh, BUT the Tip Was LEGENDARY!! I reported it to the front desk the next morning after my credit card flagged it. I was promised a refund within 7–10 business days. Nearly 3 weeks later, I’m still chasing them. Between the mediocre experience and this billing issue, we won't be back. Not to mention the whole area is a snooze fest. Bring a good book.

Below expectations. Written description of hotel and room were not accurate. No waterslide. No spa for kids. Pricey food/drink.

Average stay, expected a better experience! Felt dated. Could use a WOW factor to enhance the experience for the money.

Great location on Clam Pass. The walk to the beach through the mangroves is very unique. Wonderful hotel with many amenities.

Location provided access to beach and area attractions. Hotel was a little dated and being updated. If looking for quiet getaway, this isn’t the place to be. Many family with children, convention goers, etc.

Breakfast was very good. Location was great. Pools were wonderful. Loved the nature walk to the beach. Staff was very polite and attentive. Very peaceful there. Would come again.

Was a bit pricey to stay there. Nothing else honestly.

Breakfast should be included in the price! This hotel should really offer more for the price we paid. Nothing was included, we even paid for parking the car, daily price.

Location is Fantastic and property is excellent in it's setting on Clam Pass. Overall value Is average. The Hotel was days from closing for remodel and the staff seemed down and they were out of many staples in the restaurant.

Everything was great - staff, food, cleanliness, location. Only complaint is the beach is filled with broken shells and driftwood. My friend was injured as she stepped on a piece of driftwood and it almost went all the way through her foot. She had to go to the emergency room the following night as it was starting to get infected.

It's OK. Pretty run down rooms and that's not truly evident from the lobby and entry area so it's surprising once you get to your room. NEEDS MAJOR TLC for the $$$!

The location was amazing, as was the beach! The staff in the restaurant were really friendly and kind. There were nice touches like fresh , cold water always available.

The concierge staff at the door were a bit rude, including bumping into my husband and not acknowledging this. Breakfast wasn’t included despite paying a high, premium price of staying and the slide wasn’t working. The cost of ice cream was obscene - $10 for a small ice lolly. Also I kept being told through booking.com emails with the hotel that we could not have a cot for our two year old son due to fire regulations even though the room was massive and there was a clear exit route to the door when we did phone reception directly and get a cot in the room.

I found that the Naples Grande met all my expectations when I chose to reserve here. The staff was exceptional and the location can't be beat. I look forward to returning after the renovation.

My wife and I planned an eight day stay based on past experiences. Unfortunately things have changed significantly from those past experiences. First thing we discovered was they were closing in 2 weeks for a major renovation. When we made the reservations last year there was no evidence of this. Even worse they are charging full price for a run down facility with disgruntled employees. Just one example…we scheduled 2 days at a pool side cabana for $349.00 each day. Only to find out that a number of the advertised convinces were not operational. We then found out that the management didn’t care because they were not going to spend money when they were closing soon. If we had been informed of this we wouldn’t have spent so much money. Even if the renovations are spectacular (with I’m sure the prices will also be) we will never include this as a vacation destination…management isn’t changing so why would we? There are too many options in this area where the management cares enough to put us first.

We just killed a full sized cockroach, evidence brown soiled sheets and blood stained towels. Th staff is. Ice, and place is otherwise clean, but god! Let’s hope we got the worst of the pre renovation woes, but they let the place go and did this to the customers. The Naples Grande Astoria is long, long gone. So sad

This is a great location to stay. I would strongly recommend this place whether for business or a great family experience!! I will be coming back here anytime I can!

Clean but for the price it should be updated. The rooms have 1990 decor. The adult pool area is too small for sure and the chairs are too close.

The hotel is worn and in need of a renovation, which I understand is happening from June through the end of 2026. At the time of booking, we didn't know that the hotel was slated for a renovation which would have been an indicator that it was what we got... a worn out facility in need of a redo. The pool was very nice and the servers were pleasant and attentive. The food and beverage is overpriced for what you get. Access to the beach via the boardwalk is very nice and the facilities at the beach are nice.

The Ladies and Gentlemen at the property consistently go above and beyond. They assisted with every request, no matter how small, and demonstrated genuine hospitality. It’s truly an outstanding group of talented associates.

The staff is more interested in upselling room rate than assisting guest, not very friendly, not very accommodating, with some attitude.

Great location for just relaxing on the beach. The Hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy access, 10 minute drive to the "downtown" restaurants and shopping areas.

Nothing it’s old and run down. I have been to this proposed several times over the last 10 years and it’s as if they don’t care anymore.

It’s being renovated in April I’ve heard but the room wasn’t cleaned properly. The floors were filthy! The property advertises bikes, these are the same bikes when I went around 10 years ago, they are dangerous in my opinion , the breaks hardly work and rusty. We used to live our morning cycle rides on previous vacations we stayed away from them after our first go on them this year.

The hotel is nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. We were pleased with the hotel, but wished there was a nicer dining room for dinner. The Spa locker rooms and shower facility is in need of repair and cleaning. They do not provide much amenities for bathing and grooming. No washcloths, towels were not plush, showers were falling apart. No combs or deoderant, and combs. We felt we were rushed out because they close at 5. If you take reservations for a massage at 4pm, you need to stay open long enough for customers to bathe.

Hotel is in need of updating. Beach and pool very beautiful. We found the hotel staff to be very helpful but the front desk was not very accommodating throughout our stay. We did not ask for much, but got nothing.

Facilities and location

This was the worst experience I've ever had staying at a hotel. Hotel villa was infested with ants and they staff absolutely did not do anything. I was told someone will fix this issue and they never came. 3 separate times I showed them the video of the ants coming out the walls and dirty shower and they refused to move me to another room or fix this issue. Worst experience ever!!!!!!!

The good part is, they have nice pools. I really don’t like that they didn’t clean our room until we complained. Then, they stopped cleaning again. The people at ‘Spressi, their breakfast bar were outright nasty. There is no reason for that. It’s not necessary nor acceptable.

Hotel is beautiful, but very expensive. We came here for a conference but likely wouldn't have been here otherwise. They had great amenities and the beach was beautiful. We did use room service one evening and while the food was $51 and we left a tip, there were several other food "fees and taxes" added to that bill which were a surprise. Also, upon checking in, they required $150 per night hold on our bank account for "incidentals", which is just absolutely ridiculous. So that was $750 that I couldn't use that week of my own money to enjoy Naples. Be aware before you go that they will do that so you aren't surprised!

The place is huge the grounds are nice and the location is convenient. The rooms are dated need to be updated and bathrooms very dated toilet ran all night the rooms were disappointing especially for the money they want a night. The staff was ok nothing to brag about. The beach take the shuttle it’s a very far walk unless you like very long walks.

Naples Grande desperately needs an update - outdated and feeling run down. Hallways a mess from a paint perspective, conference bathroom awful. No hot water for shower. For the price per night would expect much better.

The resort was stop two on our fly drive with two nights at the resort. Check in was professional and quick. Room was upgraded (thanks) and very clean. Really good size with large bathroom and bath. Food in the bar area again really good and quick service. The location of the hotel also ideal. A lovely area and close to the beach. The only negative was the unseasonal weather which was out of everyone’s control! Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

I booked this reservation on what I thought was the hotel’s site. It was naplesgranderesort.guestreservations.com. I always book at a hotel’s site so when I had to leave a day early due to the snowstorm i was shocked to be told by the front desk folks that I booked through a third party site. So with a 6 am flight out on Saturday I paid for two days I didn’t use with no recourse. It was difficult to find who the third party was (hotelsone) and they had no customer service pathway. The Naples Grande needs to challenge the use of their name. It is deceptive. The prices are high for dated rooms with no robe, slippers, lotions, etc one would expect. Staff was very nice and food was good. I booked a pedicure and arrived early. The spa had a record of my registration but not the appointment . I did get a 9 am pedi but sat in the waiting area 10 minutes after all clients had been retrieved. After asking I did get taken back but had a nail professional with a chilly attitude and waited while she set up her station. The service was rushed and my cuticle was damaged. The manager did extend a ten percent refund. So, it was a very expensive one full day in Naples.

Shower needs updating. Ocean view is partial at all rooms including at our upgraded room. Price is higher than ocean view room at luxury hotels in niece, france for this time of the year

What began as a nice weekend getaway with friends turned into a very disappointing experience. We were excited to stay at Naples Grande Beach Resort, as we frequently visit Naples and had long wanted to try this resort as we tried many other in Naples. On September 13, 2025, I fell on the property due to floor painting with no proper warning signs or proper barriers. There was no clear indication that the floor was wet or unsafe. As a result, I suffered a knee injury and I am now undergoing physical therapy for ongoing pain. After the incident, the resort’s insurance company denied responsibility and blamed me using false claims, including stating I was on my phone at the time of the fall. This is untrue — my phone was in my shorts. Regardless, the lack of warning signage is the real issue and a clear safety failure. This incident was preventable with basic safety measures. I hold Naples Grande Beach Resort responsible for my injury and for how poorly this situation was handled. Guest safety should be taken seriously, and in this case, it was not.

Horrible. Do not stay here. We made reservations for a suite the night of January 29th. We were assigned room 1202. The room was an ice box on one of the coldest days in Naples this year. Engineering game after repeated calls and was unable to fix the hearing. Disgusting. The shower did not drain. The valet was rude and did not take our bags and refused to charge our electric car. We slept in our clothes and left at first light. We should have slept in our car. We got the familiar "i am sorry" - but of course, I cannot get a manager back on the phone after several calls. They did call back once, I returned call only to get hanged up on and no further contact after leaving messages. Many options in Naples - the Naples Grande is not one and the customer service doesn't exist. Howard Kahn

Dirty, outdated, not welcoming, a no service stay. Very expensive for a place that can't help with bags or offer more than any Holiday Inn Express minus breakfast.

Staff were professional, friendly, and attentive to needs. The conference space is great for meetings. Food is wonderful.

I would recommend checking if any conferences are booked while staying there as they become the priority. Restricted pool access and closed down pool bar to service them. Even restricted the flow throughout the main floor to host their numerous meal services in the upper deck and after party/cocktails

Location was good.

Loud people on our floor at 1:30am arguing and slamming doors. Room needed renovation. Bathroom had seen better days. Tile and grout old. Bar and restaurant were super loud and wide open to lobby area. Sound echoed. Pool hard to get to and looked like they weren't super maintained. Same with outdoor spaces. One bell hop for all cars.

Room was spacious, the bed comfortable and large. It was clean. A good place to stay as a couple or with family.

Tijdens ons verblijf bleken er werkzaamheden gaande aan de deuren van de balkons. Tussen 8.00 en 17.00 uur was er daarom een continu geluid van boren te horen in de kamer. Men was bezig op de 6e verdieping, maar op de 9e was alles hoorbaar alsof je ernaast stond. Receptie adviseerde ons om tussen deze tijden niet teveel op de kamer te zijn, maar onze dochter heeft haar middagslaapje nog nodig. Het verblijf hier werd daardoor onmogelijk en dat hadden we graag vooraf geweten. Dan hadden we hier niet geboekt.

Excellent facilities including the fitness center. Very friendly staff. Nice room with good space.

Große helle Zimmer mit Balkon und schönem Ausblick (11.Stock) Täglich wurden Wasser und Kaffee/Tee Vorrat auf dem Zimmer aufgefüllt Schöner Pool-Bereich. Shuttle zum Strand war super Wunderschöner Strand, Handtücher und Strandliegen standen kostenlos zur Verfügung.

Starke Wegwerfkultur, sehr viel Plastikbecher und Plastik-Geschirr im Strandrestaurant und nur Kaffee aus der Dose. Die Preise sind allgemein leider doppelt so hoch wie in Europa. Sonnenschirm zur Strandliege muss extra bezahlt werden. Beim Pool sind sehr viele Liegen aufgebaut und nur wenige davon werden benutzt. Dadurch hat man kaum Platz sich dort frei zu bewegen und es sieht nicht so schön aus mit der enormen Masse an Strandliegen. Die Hälfte der Liegen würden locker reichen.

Hotel and grounds were nice. Transport to beach was a great addition. Staff were very welcoming. Beach was incredible.

There was maintenance work going on at the property which we were only made aware of when we arrived. This consisted of drilling from 8am until 5pm which was extremely irritating when we were in the room. Thankfully we were only there for a few days.

Todo el personal es y fue muy muy amable. Nos explicaron todo con amor y predisposición. Las combis que iban del hotel a la playa excelentes.

Las instalaciones. El cuarto dice con vista a la playa y no se ve la playa, se ve la calle del hotel. Decía desayuno incluido y es a la carta, pensé que era desayuno americano. El baño es pequeño, no tiene bidet. Todos los servicios se pagan aparte ( por ejemplo sombrilla en la playa)

Very nice location and a full-service resort offering many amenities with walkability to shopping and dining nearby. The hotel is preparing to undergo a complete renovation. Looking forward to a future return to experience the gorgeous and very well-appointed guest rooms.

Nice facility and wonderful food and beverage service. I was worried as they are re-doing the entire facility, but it was beautiful as is!

Great stay awesome facility staff and amenities the restaurants and bar are great easy access to town and the beach is great as well, along with the boardwalk though the mangrove trees to get there.
