The bed was very comfortable. The room was a good size and a perfect temperature. It was quiet, so we had a great sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room was fine though bathroom is noisey with fan that never switches off except at some point in night - and then it became quite hot in room. The gym is pretty dated, the cycle machine for example hardly works and then the elipitical trainer is super noisey, and no water available is a bit poor.

The last minute trip to Palmerston North was difficult to book a place to stay because we were arriving late. The 24 hour reception at Copthorne Hotel was perfect! Our room was great, clean and met all our needs.

Super comfy feeds great for value also has amazing breakfast buffet

Would be nice in the future if one there was like bottled water for the jug so you dont have to use the sink in bathroom and if it had a microwave so its easier to have hot food then go out everytime and cant bring leftovers unless you want it cold

Reliable, comfortable and conveniently located What we liked: A reliable and comfortable place to stay in central Palmerston North. The hotel accommodated our very late booking for two rooms and was able to place them next to each other, which we appreciated. The rooms were generous in size, warm, welcoming and well presented. Check-in and check-out were both straightforward, and we had a quiet, comfortable night before continuing our journey the following morning. The price was fair for the accommodation provided, and the overall experience met our expectations. We would happily stay here again.

Breakfast was ok but the major dissapointmet was the old model coffee machine... which failed.... there is no excuse for a major hotel chain charging top rates not to invest in a decent modern coffee machine for guests at breakfast.

Loved that everything needed was in the same building.

The shower! Being on the 6th floor, it took quite a while to shower as there was almost no water pressure.

We were charged extra $66 for our stay despite booking it for 4 people in advance . There was no explanation of that . Room wasn’t ready when we arrive @4pm despite. Saying the check in time is 2pm. Shower water was cold . Felt like ripped off . Will never book this again

Booked a superior king studio - was shown to a room the size of a closet with water leak marks on the ceiling. We asked to move to the room that we actually booked, and when we were finally moved to another room, we then had no working shower. Air-conditioning noisy and was leaking. I was disappointed, to say the least, as we have stayed numerous times over many years with no concerns, Will not be returning. Every request for support with amenities seemed like an inconvenience to staff.

For the first night we decided to eat at the restaurant within the building and was really nice. The room was as expected and spacious. Staff were lovely as well.

Room was missing the finer details in regards to maintenance and cleaning, multiple lights not working, the vent in the bathroom had not been cleaned in however long see photos attached.

Bed was lovely and comfortable, parking convenient and staff were lovely.

There is a weird smell when coming into the room, not sure if it’s a cheap air freshener but it wasn’t pleasant. Major downfall was the state of the shower, lots of pink mould and black mould and was not clean.

The beds were shocking. We needed a room with twin beds but most hotels they are at least a double size. These were only kids single. Comfortable but way too small for the average adult

The bathroom fan must have been on a timer with light switch. Ran on and on forever. Mildly irritating Great to have a fan in bathroom. But should have a seperate switch..
