Good location for my needs
Good airy room
Beautiful hotel, with lovely friendly staff.....would definitely book again.
Thank you
We've stayed here a few times and it never let's us down nice place good staff and nice breakfast
Drink prices not good
Everything
Nothing
Convenient and very good
It’s in Stockton
Ideal location, lovely lounge area, big room and comfortable mattress.
Pillows were too soft (all of them). Scrambled eggs weren't great and fried egg would have been preferred.
Breakfast was very avg No egg choice other than scrambled & every day they were dry
Very noisy at night with police sirens every day
Central to where we were going.
Nothing
Convenient
Breakfast was very good. Location was perfect.
The staff were readily available. Pleasant.
It would be nice to have fried or poached eggs.
The location
It was very cold and the menu was poor - not much choice
Good parking. Easy access for town. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were a good size and very comfortable. Good sized bathroom. Large choice for breakfast.
Nothing to dislike.
Lovely comfortable stay
Clean, comfortable and lovely staff
Location Staff Late night pint of milk, pizza and chocolate!
Nothing!
Very pleasant place to stay
Nothing
Everything except the bathroom
bathroom - had pattern marks on the floor and in the shower as if someone had been walking around in dirty trainers - the mark wouldn't even disappear after using the shower and rubbing the marks. Reported this to reception when checking out
Beautiful room
Spot on clean and well cared for
It’s was perfect
Staff friendly - clean room
Great hotel. Just stayed for evening as we were attending an evening event. Staff on hand were very efficient and most of all super friendly. Tim at reception was very helpful, professional and very polite too.
Clean room was large very spacious
The breakfast was very average poor quality juice and the hot breakfast produce was greasy and poor quality produce hash browns under done everything left out too long and not hot … coffee machine temperamental and bitter coffee continental fruit and cold produce was good
Good location, super clean, lovely bathroom and comfy beds. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
In common with many hotels, they switch off heating overnight with a master switch so each night, as the weather had got cooler and we were cold, we couldn’t just turn the heating up as this blew out cold air. Instead we had to ring down and ask the duty manager to enable the heating for our room. This he did and we warmed up, but it was a bit irritating to have to do this each evening before bed. You would expect the heating controls to work unless you know that many hotels do this as a general rule.
Check in etc was very good, and the room was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast area was very busy and the food was not very hot.
The room was spacious, with a lovely view of the river. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom spotless
The breakfast area was a little small for the number of guests
Location great for town and shops. Breakfast was ok plenty to choose from to suit everyone.
Had problem with sink plug, also inserting card for electricity in room but was acted upon straight away. Staff very nice and helpful.
Immaculate hotel, right in the town centre and close to the new riverside park, theatre and shopping.
Nothing, it was just spot on.
Neatness
Paying for parking
Not clean
The room was clean, good black out curtains, very comfortable beds and pillows. Good pressure on the shower, toiletries well stocked. The check in staff were quick and friendly.
The baby crib we were given was uncomfortable. There Was no mattress on it, what ever was there felt like a board, baby didn’t like it at all.
What a fantastic hotel with very friendly helpful staff Clean, well presented and thoroughly recommended The real difference is how the staff go over and above. A great location close to the town centre offering access to restaurants and bars, transport links Very reasonable parking fees at £7 a day One of the must consider if in the north east
Modern clean hotel
Bed mattress no good quality could feel spring moving breakfast pooper bar very expensive
Friendly staff beds very comfortable, great location,
Breakfast wasn't very good didn't eat much 😕
The staffs are lovely and very helpful. The hotel is well situated and I can walk to the town centre in a minute or 2.
Everything was perfect
It was clean
We didn’t like that reception/ Bar/ dinning room was all together no where comfortable to sit it was like one big canteen ..
Clean. Quiet. Comfortable
Everything.
A little slow at booking in.
Lovely, clean friendly staff
Beds where very uncomfortable I now have backache
The room was beautiful had everything we needed
Relatively new (2019) hotel in good situation in Stockton with own unsecured car park charged at £7 nightly. Rooms are compact and beds are small with a noisy mattress. Large tv but most of the stations have no reception. Breakfast is above average for Hampton in terms both of quality and quantity but could we have some full cream milk please rather than coloured water posing as skimmed/semi milk. The breakfast and the professional staff push this property up from 3 stars to 4.
Manager Imogen was fantastic and flexible, beds were comfy
Breakfast was good but sausages were all undercooked, waited and all batches were undercooked
Was a standard hotel need shelter for a few nights nothing wow about it considering it’s a doubletree
The fact i was forced to purchase 2 rooms when we could have fitted into one room, The rooms came with 2 x double bedrooms and a baby cot and that was enough for me yet was forced to purchase another room
The room size
Breakfast
Friendly staff, clean, modern, efficient, secure bike parking.
Friendly staff
Bathroom floor and shower tray had ingrained dirt in them. Windows don’t open and the air condition switched off automatically every night in the middle of the night.
Very clean lovely rooms breakfast was brilliant lots to chose from
Fairly new and clean
Local area is run down and it’s not £125 worth a night half that at best

De hygiëne
Excellent helpful staff Room spacious and very clean Lovely relaxed breakfast Fantastic location central and right next to the river
We were a bit warm in the room and would have liked to be able to bring the temperature down a little more but the lowest we could set the fan to was 19 degrees and we would have preferred lower.
This was a return visit – last visited in July 25 – stayed 3 nights in a room described by Booking.com as queen room with breakfast Same floor but other side of the building – looking towards the car park and town – but benefitting from a sunset Being normally Premier Inn Plus customers it is interesting to see what both offer and what the differences are – in this case walk-in shower with body wash shampoo and conditioner dispensers – better towels – daily servicing of the room and replenishments – but no fridge – although an ice bucket the size of a waste paper bin was provided on request – no water or small chocolates – again this hotel had a proper reception and check-in process – not the kiosks increasingly found in many PI’s – the breakfasts are almost identical – almost the same catering supplier – but with Hampton you can have whatever you want from the hot and cold buffets rather than paying a premium for hot food in the Premier Inn – and at this hotel there were many more staff on hand to clear tables and replenish items than you find in Premier Inns – also there was a staffed bar that appeared to be open during the day and evening This hotel has extensive car parking which costs £7 per day and is within easy walking distance of the town centre with the wider road network accessed in minutes The verdict? We enjoyed our stay – reasonably comfy sleep – quiet and dark at night – and this despite England playing a late evening world cup match – breakfast was more than adequate – and the staff were welcoming accommodating and attentive – so based on our experience it was a draw – and would stay at Hamptons in the future - thank you
Great modern hotel, friendly staff, great rooms. Great English breakfast, included in room rate. Only thing that rankles,is having tp pay for parking.
We normally stay at the Premier Inn when we come to the NE to visit family but this weekend decided to try somewhere new. We arrived at 1pm and were told our rooms were ready but there was a charge of £10 an hour for early check in - ridiculous! The rooms are ready why charge people to access them! The bar area is very nice but the drinks were really expensive (and that’s from visiting southerner’s standards!) However the main reason I would not return is the quality of sleep - I don’t think I’ve ever slept on such an uncomfortable mattress. It was a really hard mattress and felt like I was lying on a brick - surely investing in good quality mattresses is a must for any hotel. Back to the Premier Inn for us next time
Really good hotel. Room was of a really good standard, clean, well presented, large tv, lovely bed, big windows and air con. Provided cleaning products which were full and plenty of towels
The areas is awful unfortunately, no nice pubs or bars
Parking charges
Highly recommended. Efficient, friendly staff. Comfortable room with good facilities. Excellent breakfast.
Nothing, it was all very good.
Breakfast, excellent, location was perfect, free parking was a very good bonus. Staff fantastic, and very clean and comfortable.
Nothing, it is as excellent.
Location ok. Food lovely
Food was horrible and massively overpriced, wouldn't even feed to a dog
Nice room
Breakfast looked good but short of quality. Had to pay for parking in hotel car park. Not appropriate for resident guests
Room was comfortable Breakfast all fresh
The facility was ok
The dinner
Good location
Nothing
Safe, staff care clean, nice rooms but most importantly you feel welcomed and all staff are lovely.
That I have to leave, however I’ll be back.
Everything was well above expectations

Little
I stayed here with my wife on our wedding night after ringing the reception about checking in and explaining it was our wedding day the staff arranged a nice Riverside view room for us and the room was perfect a card was left for us, the breakfast buffet was also good quality and came with the booking I would recommend staying here if you are in the area thanks again
Easy to park. Lovely staff on arrival. Clean comfy room. Fabulous breakfast buffet
Breakfast - poor for vegans room- windows could not be opened even a bit bed good
charges for parking! very poor cooked food
We stayed here to go to a show at The Globe Theatre, so brilliant location! Receptionist lovely, friendly and helpful! Room was.lovely and clean, bathroom also lovely with great shower
Didnt have a restaurant or nice food.menu, just burgers etc, not a big hotel which I get, there wasnt room for a restaurant. Bar is tiny and you have to wait for a member of reception staff to come and serve, maybe just being picky, but wasnt really what I expected for a Hilton
Location great. Staff very helpful. Breakfast great.
Not much choice for evening meal
Brilliant.
Everything was very good.
Easy to find. Very clean. Helpful staff
Limited choice at restaurant
Great location for what I needed and only 5 mins from train station. Friendly staff, and lovely pillows!!
Aircon was soooo cold so turned it off and hairdryer is like a snail blowing but nothing else was negative!
The room was clean, the staff were super helpful and all seemed to be happy too - a rare occurance in a hotel! Such a lovely hotel to be in, thank you.
It is expensive for a midweek stay in the North East!
Smart, clean, bar, breakfast, gym - great!
Flashing green light on the smoke detector was like trying to sleep in a disco. I had to lie with a pillow over my eyes to sleep! Also - rooms would benefit from a loo brush!
Room was spacious clean. river view was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic
Pillows could of been firmer. Would of liked bottled water for tea making facilitates
Top marks for the housekeeping team: our room was as spotlessly clean as any hotel I've ever stayed in at any price (£1,000 tops since you ask). Also, this Hilton sported the quietest air-conditioning I've encountered: essential (bordering on life-saving!) when it's a humid 33 degrees outside and the room has no opening windows. Front of house (Tim) was terrific. Plus, it's worth requesting and/or paying for a room with huge picture windows views over the Tees river.
This is a very singular hotel. Don't stay here if you're after a romantic get-away. It offers the very barest minimum of teabags (2) and coffee straws (2) and milk (rudimentary sachets) and it's devoid of all non-essentials such as bathrobes, a fancy coffee machine, a fridge/minibar, notepaper, complimentary bottled water and biscuits, and even a toilet brush! However, if you're looking for something right in the heart of Stockton (maybe for business?) with space to spare for unfolding your laptop for a teams meeting, then it definately fits the bill.
Cleanliness, breakfast was good
Staff were rude. Except from a couple of staff members.
Clean
No porter
Cracking place - very clean and modern
The location was perfect
Only staying the one night however we will return in November
Location. Modern clean hotel Staff very friendly
Great place and the staff were so friendly
Hmmm….i guess the room could have had a fridge
Location was perfect breakfast was lovely plenty food very clean eating area. Had really good time will definitely come back
Nothing
Ridiculously clean and tidy. Brilliant hotel.
Norhing
Lack of food choice
The property was clean.
The beds were uncomfortable, and there was no water in the room. I've never stayed at a hotel that doesn't give you water daily. The breakfast was not great, and the staff looked irritated that they had to help you or just waited around to clean up. The staff was not great, they seemed annoyed to be helping. A few were nice, but many just seemed miserable. Too bad, it's in an accessible location.
Had a really good stay at Hampton by Hilton, the room is a good size with a decent shower and great large flat screen modern tv, breakfast was also good, pillows were were really soft but some people might like that, no room service and car park was full but there is a free car park right next door you just need to be out by 9am
Staff and breakfast good, rooms were very good
Paid parking onsite and bed was small
Great breakfast,easy check in,great stay
Great location , lovely room with great views. Nice breakfast, friendly staff
The room wasn’t ready when we checked in after 3pm and it had to be altered . I did remind them I had paid for a river view ! This was quickly sorted and the room we were given was lovely
Very clean and very nice make up
None
Very nice hotel.
Nothing
Great location for visiting the Globe theatre and Stockton’s newly opened riverside park.
Nothing.
Breakfast was fresh but mediocre. Dinner was not great.
No toaster available for breakfast time and dinner was fresh but very overpriced
