Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Denton South by IHG

It was very clean and super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast manager/chef/public relations was THE BEST!!! (I believe his name is Michael).

Everything was great.

Had everything I needed Easy check in and out

Far from the airport and housekeeping didn't come by to bring new towels or make the beds or empty the trashcan

Muy buen hotel. Habitación limpia y grande, desayuno completo, buen gimnasio y piscina

Nada

There were enough staff at the reception desk to attend to all questions. The manager was exceptionally nice. Greeting everyone and treating his staff very nice.

All was great

The bed was very comfortable, room was very clean and staff was very nice.

They need to update their satellite, it does not show anything that is playing on the menu guide. You have to click on every individual station to know what is showing for that night makes it very inconvenient to try and figure out what to watch when you are in the hotel. You have to hold the room door to close them, if you let go, they slam shut very hard. Makes it very loud in the hallway from other rooms when it happens.

It was supposed to be a suite that we stayed in so I was expecting a separate living room with the pull out couch but that was not the case here. Definitely a false description was given in naming the rooms that we reserved.

New. Clean. Location

Front desk ladies were great

Clean Room

Found hair in the bed

The room was wonderful the staff was so nice

Friendly staff and clean room.

No extra towels

It looked pretty new. The location was awesome for us. We didn’t have to deviate off road at all really.

It was really nice. I did however bring up a couple of issues to the front desk about our bathroom though. There was a loose tile in front of the shower that needs to have grout put on it. Also in the shower, there were a couple of places that needed silicone down at the base. I told them doing both of those things would prevent mold and water damage. Plus if not done, if someone in the future could slip because of the loose tile, that they could possibly sue. Not trying to complain, just trying to help.

First of all, the place is beautiful—it smells fresh and feels clean the moment you walk in. I arrived around 1 AM, and Hannah at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She was professional, welcoming, and had a smile the entire time during check-in. About 10 minutes after I got to my room, she even sent a text to make sure everything was okay and to see if I needed anything, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. The room itself was fresh, clean, and very comfortable. The beds and pillows were amazing—I slept so well! And the breakfast was actually really good. The cheese omelets were especially delicious. This was honestly one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever experienced!

There was nothing off-putting about this hotel experience.

Breakfast was good and appreciated the early time in which it was served.

Stayed three nights. When they cleaned the room for me they resupplied the coffee stand but failed to leave any coffee cup. I was a little concerned by the location of the night stands. I fell out of bed once and hit my eye on the corner of a night stand losing sight in that eye. Would have preferred if stands had rounded corners or some protection over them.

The hotel location was great, there are three restaurants and a Starbucks within walking distance. The hotel has a good breakfast that includes scrambled eggs, omelets, sausage links and patties, cereal, and pastries. Michael, the cook that runs the breakfast keeps the food stocked and the area clean.

The ice makers on most of the floors were inoperative.

Breakfast was good, but Michael to breakfast lead... was extremely friendly and pleasant to deal with.

Comfortable beds. Very clean.

Poor breakfast, they said they have more on the weekends.

Gute Anbindung

Frühstück in USA wie immer sehr limitiert.

The breakfast was so limited it didn’t have to be offered

Offer options it was like nothing

Great breakfast

All good

There are several restaurants within easy walking distance. Although not a luxury hotel, it is clean & modern; and the breakfast is excellent. My bed was very comfortable.

Nothing.

The location was good and the coffee was great

The hotel was a little dated for a Holiday Inn Express quality. The breakfast was the same selection every day, which is disappointing if you stay multiple nights. The staff seemed lazy and didn’t seem to move with purpose

Location great. Food was limited. Biscuits were amazing. Gravy not so much. Apple juice had a strange taste to me. Cinnamon roll was fabulous. Sausage great.

I may have slept too late to know if there were any baked goods such as muffins . That would have been nice.

CLEAN. Staff, to a one, was very kind, courteous, attentive. They are to be commended. Pool was grest, beds comfy, breakfast outstanding. Well be back.

The breakfast was very good , I really enjoyed the cinnamon roll. The staff working in the breakfast room was really great and the room was very clean and kept that way.

The “breakfast chef”, Michael, was outstanding. We met him the day we arrived and told us about breakfast and asked if we had any requests. The next morning he greeted us and had our special request ready! Outstanding service.

The sleeper sofa in our room was broken making it uncomfortable to sit on.

I traveled with my husband to attend a wedding, we arrived at midnight, the staff was very friendly, especially at breakfast time.

hotel front desk clerk was super nice and greeted us with a smile! The gentleman who was cleaning up the breakfast area was also super nice and asked if we need anything etc. I ended up going back to our room to grab some cash to put in the little tip jar they had on the breakfast counter.

Very clean and comfortable room

The breakfast was the absolute worst. It was not edible. The sausage was like rubber. Muffins so dry the paper wrap was embedded in it. The eggs were disgusting. The potatoes were a mush. I’ve never had such a horrible breakfast at any holiday inn.

Todo

Todo muy bien

How loud the interstate was from our room. I know that's not controllable. I just didn't sleep well because of the noise.

Centrally located

We could have television and better communication and customer service

Very friendly staff!!

TV was not working but it was out of their control since it was the provider issue

La comodidad de la cama

Un no hablen español

Front desk & breakfast staff were friendly & inviting. Room was clean, AC worked well. Lobby was well kept. I have used this hotel twice now for personal overnight trips because price is good, location is convenient, and the stay overall is pleasant.

Good

The room was very clean and the staff was outstanding! They were so very friendly and welcoming. The bed was so comfortable that I actually slept all night and that never happens!

The staff was always friendly and very helpful. The cook went above and beyond!

Nice staff , clean room, but the breakfast was ok no biscuits or gravy but overall everything was good thank you

Very clean, comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and Michael was so nice and helped with anything we needed.

All was great

Quiet. Clean. Wonderful staff.

A beautiful, modern, clean room that is close to many eating options.

Nice place to stay and easy access to main roads.

The cleanliness was a little concerning, especially in the bathroom. There’s was hair everywhere, which made the stay uncomfortable. Definitely needs better housekeeping attention.

Always a wonderful stay! Love the staff - they are always so friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and the breakfast was yummy.

We've got a freshman at UNT and this is our go-to spot when we're in Denton. We've stayed there during a college visit, orientation and move-in. It's clean, close to everything and very comfortable.

Sehr nettes Personal beim Frühstück, tolle Auswahl.

Den Highway hört man, aber das ist kein Problem.

The staff was so wonderful and patient!

Arrived overwhelmed and had to leave my home due to black mold toxicity in home. Rose, Julia, Allison, and Hannah went out of their way to help me as I have a walker, severely ill from toxins. My husband cares for me 24/7 - could i even do this alone? I felt safe at this special hotel. Room so clean, bed great, wonderful free breakfast spread.

Absolutely nothing.

Enjoyed our stay.

Nice comfy hotel

Always my place to stay in Denton.

I love the shower without a tub. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful! This was a great stay!

The staff at the front desk are so helpful and friendly! We so appreciate them and will be repeat customers because of them.

Location was perfect. Had restaurants walking distance.

Friendly staff. Close to university

Lost power next morning in our room

The locations amazing. The hotel is clean the staff is friendly.

It was ready accessible convenient

Not anything at the moment that I noticed about property

Todo estuvo muy bien,el cuarto muy limpio y el desayuno delicioso

Solo que el aire estaba apagado cuando llegamos y la habitación estaba super caliente

We've made quite a few trips to Denton in the past year and this has been the nicest hotel so far. So glad it was within our price range. Nice area, room was clean, staff was very attentive, very quiet. We didn't get to enjoy breakfast or visit any of the amenities but very satisfied overall with our stay.

The hotel is quite lovely and centrally located. The ladies at the front desk and the gentleman working in the cafe area at breakfast are all very friendly.

Unfortunately, there were 6-7 empty Coors Light cans under the mattress of one of the beds in our double room. The girls from the front did quickly come and get them and they were very apologetic about the messy inconvenience.

Good location. Clean. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was real good. Freshly made biscuits were delicious.

Didn’t like the fact that they charged my card for a product I had no clue about, they did eventually take it off after the camera showed it was another person staying there whom they got the rooms mixed up.

Easy to get to friendly staff and super clean

Staff welcoming attitude and neatness of the hotel

Charged more than advertised rate.
