Amazing hotel, wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Rome!

Only downside is you do spend more in taxis in/out of the centre as it’s not within everyday walking distance to the main sights HOWEVER the trade off for an amazing hotel where you can relax by the pool for a few hours after a day walking in the blistering heat is well worth it. Depends what your priorities are.

No iron in the room (for safety reasons) yet there is only one ironing room for the entire hotel - 11pm you are still in line to get to ironing room.

I visited in August with my 84 year old father who has difficulty walking. The SPA staff were fabulous and spoilt him. He has nothing but praise for them. I enjoyed the large outdoor pool which was a relief in the very hot weather, always a sunbed and umbrella available.

Limited choice of dining. Roof top bar is beautiful but was over run by wasps which made dining a little tricky.

De kamer was ruim en netjes, al was het weinig Italiaans qua look and feel. Het ruime terras was heerlijk. Het zwembad was aangenaam en niet overvol, beschikbaarheid van ligstoelen was dik in orde. De fitnessruimte was een meerwaarde.

Alleen was de kamer voor 4 personen en waren er op het terras maar 2 stoelen. Het ontvangst bij inchecken was matig afstandelijk en best lang wachten.

Was mir nicht gefallen hat, war, dass das Frühstück immer gleich war und die Sauberkeit teilweise zu wünschen übrig ließ.

Trevlig personal, viss charm över retro-känslan på hotellet. Bra att man får poolhanddukar och väldigt lugnt vid poolen fram till klockan 10-11. Rummet var helt okej.

Finns inga restauranger inom gångavstånd. Vi fick av någon anledning ett handikappanpassat badrum utan duschdraperier, hela badrummet blir blött när du duschar. Fanns schampoo men inget balsam? Det enda som är gott i poolbaren är pizzan, generellt orimligt dyr poolbar. Frukostbuffen är tyvärr trist och fullt med skrikande barn...

Mooi, fijn hotel. Zwembad erg fijn na een verhitte dag in de stad. Kamers zijn ook mooi. Wij hebben ook gegeten op de rooftop, dat is zeker een aanrader. Ook werkt de shuttle bus erg fijn, vanaf het punt waar je wordt afgezet kun je verschillende bussen en metro’s pakken om verder te stad te ontdekken.

Kamers zijn erg gehorig. Wij werden regelmatig wakker van mensen op de gang en het gebruik van de lift

Good breakfast with a nice variety of options, eggs, bread, croissants, fruits. Cappucinos available as well. The pool area was great, lots of corners where to sit and read. The scent being used at the hotel was quite nice. All the staff were friendly, Valerio at the Terrace bar, Danilo and Maria at the front desk.

The distance to the hotel from downtown Rome is something to consider.

It was far out in Rome and hills to walk if you are taking the metro and bus. Having shuttle pick you up at a certain destination is plus be a great addition!

Overall the hotel was nice and a great place away from the center of Rome. I liked the swimming pool area with a large pool. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast with multiple options of food and very many dessert options.

While the location was good, getting to the center of Rome by public transportation was not the best. I would not recommend going by public transportation if traveling with children or elderly. The room was nice but the view from the room was not great. Most of the rooms face away from the pool area and mine was facing the parking lot. The parking lot was quite noisy at times.

Tolles Frühstücksbuffet, was keine Wünsche offen lässt. Spiegeleier können extra bestellt werden 😆. Von süß bis salzig, sogar Lachs war alles da. Ein frischer Cappuccino oder Espresso gab es direkt von der Theke zubereitet. Zimmer sauber,. Pool teilweise etwas überfüllt, haben aber mit ein bisschen warten auch noch Liegen ergattert Für den Nachmittag. Pool war ausreichend groß, aber etwas zu warm. Durch die Hitze konnte der auch Nachts nicht abkühlen.

Das Zimmer war für 4 Personen sehr klein. Die Betten waren verdammt eng für Zwei Erwachsene. Das Hotel liegt etwas ab vom Schuss. Man kann zu Fuß zu einer Haltestelle laufen geht aber bergab und bergauf. Ansonsten mit dem Auto zur Metro. Für den Vatikan haben wir z.B direkt dort sehr günstig in der Tiefgarage geparkt.

Location is not within walking distance to any restaurant/shops/attractions, must get taxi or shuttles, aircon didn’t get as cold as we prefer (but that’s always personal) lowest temp around 25/27c in room.

Hotellin kuljetuspalvelu (shuttle bus) Rooman keskustaan olisi voinut olla keskeisemmälle sijainnille ja hieman useammin.

The staff was very kind.

The hotel offered a very small selection of gluten-free breakfast items. ROME specifically has some of the best gluten-free baked goods in the entire world, and the hotel only provided things in plastic bags. The bacon was sitting in a vat of grease and the scrambled eggs were runny. Every morning for breakfast I had the plastic bags of gluten-free items and watermelon. I did order an omelette one day, but it was equally disgusting so I didn’t eat it. The first night in the gym, there was no water, no cleaning spray, no paper towels, no sweat, towel, towels, and equipment that had been used was left laying in the floor. I realize that part is the fault of lazy guests, but the area should be inspected and restocked regularly. The room itself was incredibly hot. I told them that it was too hot to sleep comfortably, even though I had turned the temperature down as far as it would go and they unlocked something so I was able to turn the temperature lower. It still did not cool off enough to make me comfortable so I had to purchase a fan to blow on me because I was so hot. The spa was lovely. I purchased some items that needed to be laundered for my child to take to school, and the hotel was going to charge me a fee to launder the items, when I received the items back, the colors were ruined. The hotel did pay for me to replace the items as well as cover my Cab fair to go back to the location to purchase the replacements.

Hotel and room was exceptionally clean and the style was very chilled. The pool area was pleasant and temperate was perfectly cold considering the hot weather.

People smoking in the pool area was suffocating at times. They should look to ban or make a smoking area away from guests. Our room was position underneath the roof top bar/restaurant and staff made a lot of noise moving furniture at closing time, which lasted till 12:30am or 1:30am some days. This didn’t help with our sleep and relaxation and was reported several time to management without any resolution. They were apologetic in the end (that’s all) Also, spa steam room didn’t work when we attended and also the masseuse that treated my wife didn’t have the strange to give a proper deep tissue massage. They cannot do strong pressure messages.

Lack of food variety at the restaurant!

We loved the big pool and its roof terrace with a great view, good food and friendly service.

There were not enough sun beds and shade around the pool area. Rooftop restaurant was closed a couple times because of private functions. Airco in the rooms made quite a bit of noise.

With a family of three adults we booked a room with 2x double bed. Beds are very comfortable. Big tv with mobile connectivity to stream. Size of room and bathroom and terrace was great. We stayed in another hotel in Rome later and really missed the spaciouness. Front desk, pool and restaurant staff amazingly friendly. Swimming pool outside top with towel service, enough sunbeds, nice small pool bar. We used the wellness. Few times mention names but Lukrezia this lady is gold!

Management of rooftop resto. Hard to get reservation and sometimes not open. Overall decor of hotel is clean and crisp but the lobby and resto interior cold ..difficult to put your finger on but it is as if the hotel is missing a soul despite nice efforts of the staff. Breakfast same thing ..all is there but missing a bit finesse in the ingredients the way it is presented and the chairs make a lot of noise on the tiles plus very noisy overall. In the wellness half of the water jets are not working and this inside pool more a big jacuzzi to wonder around. But nice experience with free complementary thee and water. The double bed in the quadruple room could be seen too small for two tall people. Last point is not negative as I knew this upfront but out of the way of the city center so calculate 25eur twice to go to and come back from city center.

Heerlijk zwembad, fijne vierpersoonskamer, mooi dakterras. Het was fijn dat je een badhanddoek bij het zwembad kon verkrijgen (zonder extra kosten). Het hotel lag er netjes en verzorgd bij. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en uitgebreid.

De drankjes op het dakterras en aan de zwembad bar waren prijzig (€5 voor een cola). Er was geen openbaar vervoer voorziening direct in de buurt. Naar veel bezienswaardigheden was het een uur met het openbaar vervoer en zo’n 25 minuten met een taxi. De taxikosten kunnen daardoor voor je verblijf snel oplopen.

Un personnel avenant, disponible et qui vous trouve des solutions. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec un superbe balcon. Le petit déjeuner est varié, il y a du choix et c’est bon. Que dire du spa, la piscine. Vraiment un excellent établissement, nous reviendrons pour un séjour plus long afin de mieux profiter des atouts de l’hôtel. 2 nuits étaient finalement court, Je voyage beaucoup et c’est rare ce type de prestations a ce prix là

The beds weren’t very comfortable and they creaked every time one turned around . Poor control by hotel staff over the sun loungers . There should be a time limit that a chair can stay unoccupied when they are in high demand . Please leave their towels on the loungers and go away for hours

Staff collaborativo . Se non devi stare al centro di Roma è una soluzione perfetta, ha anche il parcheggio e il servizio navetta.

Close to airport and downtown Rome.

Lovely place with great facilities. Being out of town at least they provide a shuttle service. Cost 5 euros per person per trip but they take you into town. The nearest metro staion is 1/2 hr walk (which in the current heat wave you wouldn't want to do). Family room is lovely and comfortable. Great swimming pool and food!

What an absolute amazing stay we had: This place is perfect for parents with children. My kids really enjoyed the pool. And the fact that we could relax infront of the pool and watch them swim, was a huge bonus.

Der Pool war schön und angenehm, leider zu wenig Liegen und Sonnenschirme bei fast 39 Grad ! Das Restaurant Aqua Viva war preislich, geschmacklich und vom Personal super !!! Die Rooftop Bar allerdings genau das Gegenteil

Matratzen waren sehr weich! Im Gegensatz zu anderen Kunden die mit uns gleichzeitig ankamen und gleich ins Zimmer durften mussten wir bis 15 Uhr warten ! Ich denke wenn man über ein Portal wie Booking bucht und nicht direkt, bekommt man die schlechteren Zimmer und muss warten….. Unser Zimmer war zwar sauber aber ziemlich veraltet…Waschbecken lief das Wasser schlecht ab, Duschtasse sah auch nicht einladend aus und naja für die Fliegen die aus dem Ablauf kamen als das was Wasser angemacht wurde, wurde Raid gesprüht…trotzdem fühlte man sich nicht so wohl und schon gar nicht hat hier Preis-Leistung gestimmt ! Noch dazu war an einem Tag das Restaurant Aqua Viva für alle gesperrt weswegen man auf die Dachbar ausweichen „musste“ ( wären wir schlauer gewesen hätten wir per Uber eats bestellt) !! Der Gruss aus der Küche wurde mit 8€ abkassiert ( was man nicht gesagt bekommt und was auch definitiv keine 8€ wert war!!!) und ansonsten gab es nur hochpreisig Gerichte die nur wegen der Aussicht den Preis nicht wert sind ! Ausserdem haben manche die ein alkoholisches Getränk bestellt hatten Snacks bekommen ( kenn ich so aus Italien ) wir allerdings nicht….warum konnte keiner sagen…. Fazit: Der Pool war toll, der Rest nie wieder….lieber näher Richtung Rom, denn sonst muss man täglich mit dem Taxi pendeln ( was super geklappt hat und günstiger war als der Shuttle des Hotels ! Gleiches gilt für den Flughafentransfer, Hotel viel zu teuer !!! Sind zu viert mit einigen Koffer für die Hälfte des Hotelshuttlepreises gefahren !

Für römische Verhältnisse war das Hotel sowie die Poolanlage außergewöhnlich großzügig. Das Essen war vorzüglich, das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Bestes Personal! Shuttle hinein nach Prati funktioniert reibungslos!

Bed squeaked so loud it woke you up if you moved. Rooms are generally tired and the bathroom needs renovation.

Lovely modern hotel. The pool was a real highlight and the perfect place to relax after a morning of sightseeing around Rome. We had an early train one morning and the hotel kindly prepared breakfast for us to take away, which was a lovely touch. The gym was also well equipped, and breakfast had a delicious selection with plenty of options.

The food at both restaurants was quite expensive, and we often felt a little limited as travelling into central Rome by taxi cost around €20 each way. There are no supermarkets near the hotel to get food locally. The pool also gets very busy. The shuttle service into the city centre started at 9am, which was too late for us as our guided tours often started at 8am. As a result, we had to rely heavily on Ubers, which became quite expensive, sometimes costing up to €80 a day when travelling into Rome for a tour and returning for dinner in the evening.

Lovely welcome by Daniele at reception on arrival, made rooms available for our early arrival mid morning and an extra hour for a later check-out. He was so friendly and helpful, whether organising our shuttle service or providing hotel and area information. The fantastic pool made for a very comfortable few hours in the hotter part of the day before going in to central Rome. Breakfast was plenty with a good variety of breakfast foods.

Having to get a shuttle or taxi every time we wanted to go to the city centre

Rooms were nice, staff helpful and friendly. Good pool. We weren’t disappointed. Rooftop restaurant. Breakfast was more than adequate ('orange juice' though..) and having a (proper) coffee corner is an excellent idea! I'd give the lady lifeguard by the pool a raise - patience of a saint!

Small Complaints: A/C difficult to understand, small items (tea, spoons, etc) never replaced in the room. Amenities did not include body cream, which is unusual in a hotel. Bar by the pool could open at 11:00 and many people STILL claiming early spots and then not returning for an hour or two. Bar in hotel always understaffed.

This hotel was difficult to fault, at times it felt like a 5 star hotel. Far enough from the chaos of Rome in a lush green setting, close enough to be in the centre of the city within 20minutes & for under 25 euro (as at August 2026). The staff went above and beyond, they were so lovely and helpful. The day spa was lovely, I went for a quick 30min massage and it was fantastic. The pool was one big highlight, huge, clean, very kid-friendly (lots of families) but still quiet enough. Evening drinks on the terrace as well as up on the roof top bar was another highlight, the setting is just so gorgeous. The buffet breakfast was also probably the best we had in Italy, and restaurant prices for lunch/dinner weren’t extortionate as they sometimes can be in hotels. The food & portion sizes were decent, and the overall setting was so enjoyable we found ourselves wishing we had booked a couple more days.

Picking at straws here, the rooms were quite compact and the beds were double sized, so it did feel tight at times when the whole family were in the room but we spent so little time in there that it wasn’t an issue.

Housekeeping, had to grab staff as the bedsheets were found to be soiled stained, found after first morning and housekeeping did not bother to change them just remade bed until found after day out. Also main restaurant was closed on the Tuesday night , not informed, TV menus did not work informing server not found. Tea bags not replaced any morning during stay, no glasses in room although trying to sell mini bar items. No information found in room for area or the hotel. Ordered a taxi from reception night before leaving, during checkout found not booked, asked for a car , van turned up so cost was more.

Classy yet cool hotel

Service on rooftop restaurant a little slow

A great place to stay if you are spending a few days in Rome, especially during the hotter months. We have been to Rome a few time so we didn’t mind not staying in the centre this time. The pool area in the hotel is lovely and a great bonus before or after exploring a very hot Rome (especially with children). Drinks, pizza and snacks are available at the pool too and there’s lovely gardens and a park on the door step. Breakfast was good, the staff were helpful and overall the hotel is very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Nice restaurant and the roof top area is great (although it was closed one of our nights due to lightening storms, which is understandable). It’s only 15 minutes to Rome Centre (around Piazza Navona) and about €15 in a taxi but the hotel has a shuttle bus (at a small cost per person) too.

The property overall is great, I found the menu in the downstairs restaurant a little small/ limited but the food was good and the service was great.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with fantastic staff, very well maintained and a lovely pool area. it’s about a 20 to 25 minute cab ride out of the centre of Rome which means it’s not so busy but there isn’t very much around. Be careful as usual when ordering cabs in Rome make sure the hotel order it for you.

Location meant a cab was needed for most places, but that was the compromise we made in order to have a nice hotel with lots of space and a nice pool, which in the summer makes a huge difference.

We had a wonderful experience at Villa Pamhili. Staff were highly professional and welcoming and made our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. Hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was smooth. There is a gym on site for gym enthusiasts - Suana and massage facilities at an extre charge. A large pool is available for guest on the ground level. Breakfast was varied with a wide choice of options from hot breakfast to pastries and fruit. Vegan options were also available - the Frangipane Pineapple and Rosemary Tart was exceptionally delicious! All staff were friendly, responsive and highly efficient.

I liked everything here. There was not a single thing I disliked.

La struttura è molto bella ma ..ci sono i ma...

Bisogna fare a gara per un posto all' ombra in piscina. Ombrellini troppo piccoli secondo me da sostituire con ombrelloni all' altezza della struttura, soprattutto di estate che la piscina è sempre soleggiata . Secondo punto dolente:Le api che ci hanno danno il tormento durante la cena in terrazza, non basta permetterlo che ci sono. Visto il prezzo di 30 euro per un minuscolo filetto senza lodi bisognarebbe dimezzare il prezzo se le api ci sono , non si può proprio godere la cena con il fazzoletto in mano per cacciarle via. Assolutamente improponibile.

Struttura curata in ogni minimo dettaglio, pulita, arredata con stile e completa di ogni servizio. La Terrazza al quinto piano dove fare aperitivo al tramonto o cena elegante è veramente una chicca.

Het enige minpuntje was dat de bedden nogal hard kraakten en een tikkeltje klein met 2 personen.

החדר נקי ונראה טוב. יש חנייה במקום ואם אין מקום מפנים לחנייה אחרת.

The pool was a definite asset in 40’ weather. Restaurants were spacious and breakfast was included and a good variety. Grounds and hotel are spacious and clean. Check in and out was easy.

This location was not walkable to any restaurant or shopping. I thought the shuttle into town was free however I was charged the two times we used it, the staff did not indicate that when we booked it.
