Beach front
No restaurant or food available.
Nice family.
The cottage where i stayed is really old. Floor, bathroom and aircon is really old. There’s a foul smell coming from the bathroom. The whole area specially by the beach can do some touch of tidying and make it a relaxing atmosphere.
Location was perfect and staff very friendly and helpful. The local dogs were also a delight.
The room had mould growing on the roof of the cabin, which made it smell a little funny. This could use a proper clean.
Amazing place, Total peace. Private beach, beds, great sunset, lovely breakfast, like being alone in paradise. Cosy cabins too with front porch. Great value for money!
Everything was great!
Zon zee en ontspanning
From the moment we arrived, everything was simply perfect. If you are looking for peace, quiet, and tranquility, this is the place to be. It is a dream come true for anyone who loves dogs, the sea, and a calm atmosphere. The highlight of our stay was the adorable pack of six dogs living there—they are absolutely sweet and made our stay unforgettable. The mornings are incredibly peaceful: starting the day with the view of the turquoise sea and fine sand, followed by a delicious breakfast and then relaxing in a hammock... it was pure bliss. We originally booked for two nights but quickly extended it to three. Even after leaving, we missed the vibe so much that we returned two days later! The hardest part was definitely saying goodbye. I truly hope we can return someday soon. Highly recommended!
Located right on the beachfront, magic listening to the sound of the waves as you lay in bed
Bathroom was a little rustic, room is very old, but you get used to it
Nothing
The photos nothing like it was maybe 20 years ago.
Incroyable ! Magique !
Nice local place, not many tourist. Calming sea just few steps away. Many services, laundry , tours, drinks, motorbike rental etc. Perfect for those who looking place away from masses.
Sometimes problems with water and WiFi. Noisy sometimes because surrounding village, but thats life
Really nice spot, quiet but you can find everything you need around, beach is just superb. Very good value for money.

overbooking.. I booked the beachfront and upon arrival they transfer me to other house which is not beachfront cuz they overbooked.. had trouble with the car and can't contact the owner when badly needed..
Serene and beautiful, the cottage was really cozy
The people were really nice, everything was clean and confortable.
The beach in front is not the nicest one(there is other once nearby more beautiful), the air conditioning was super noisy and the warm water was not really working properly
Relaxing atmosphere. The staff was kind and hospitable, making you feel right at home.
Peaceful, beautiful ocean views, relaxing environment
all perfect
We stayed twice in Acuario, first 6 nights and than we were back for 2 nights, it's one of the most quiet and relaxing places we stayed in. We really liked the close proximity to the airport and San Vicente town (60php by TRYKE for 2pax), Theres beach just in front of Acuario and its swimmable, but we recommend walking to Caporas beach, its marked "wild beach near San vicente" on Google maps and it's only 12min walk from Acuario, that beach is so beautiful, quiet, not many people if any, and also there are big waves and sand is really nice. There are no jellyfish which is great too.
When we arrived our 2nd stay, the next day we weren't able to have our breakfast cause there was no one to cook, and also same day we were unable to eat at Acuario, we got breakfast the last day, but we were also unable to have lunch for same reasons. it's not big deal but we really liked the food in Acuario and wished for a meal there before we left :)
The location is amazing, really peaceful and quiet. Also the food is very delicious, we really loved the inclusion of breakfast in our booking. The staff owners and dogs very friendly :)
I travelled with my wife and 2 kids (9,6 yo). It was a great experience to have basic and rough it out for a bit. The shower and toilet was basic (could not get the hot water to work). But we didn't mind as the weather was hot. It's amazing to wake up on the beach front. The wifi did not work, but I did not mind as it allowed us to be more present. There's plenty to do like get a tuktuk to the city centre, or organise a trip to the sites (I did this separately). Laundry service is also available, but see if you can find a place in town as well. Food is pretty good that you can order from the front-counter.
The pillows weren't as comfortable, too soft. But the bed may have been a bit hard. Again if you want rough it this is the place to go. So to elaborate, the shower and bathroom is basic and the wifi did not work. But we didn't mind at all when you have a beachfront view.
Best place to chill.
I'm writing this review in the negative just so you would read it. We give this place a 10/10 just because WE loved it here and we are simple people and we got what we wanted and more for the price we paid. Stayed her for a week. Things to take note (some are good, some are bad that I thought of(for some people)): 1. ~20m to the beach. 2. 4 realy friendly doggies (especially if you share your food). 3. The owners are really friendly and helpful with all your needs. 4. A remote place just to feel away from everything and just chill. 5. You need a scooter or other means of transport to get to the city (we rented them from the owners when needed). 6. When we came the WiFi cables were cut with roadworks and we had to use cellular data. 7. A lot of food options from the menu and everything is homemade and most of it was really good. 8. Shower has hot water but the controls make it devil hot or cold. Maybe we didn't understand how to use it. We used the cold one and did not see a problem. 9. You live on a beach, so prepare for lots of sand everywhere. 10. I am a beer drinker, they always had beer. Just make sure when the owners go to sleep to get your last beer. 11. You live in a beach cabana, so be prepared to see a gecko, bug or an ant sometimes in or near your house. To sum up, it is a great price/quality place to stay and we really had the peace of mind we wanted. We always repeated a phrase "feels like paradise" while staying here. Highly recommend to all my friends and everyone that has read this review.
The place is super quiet and the owners really nice and accommodating amd right in front of the ocean. It really takes 10 steps from the room to the shore (the beach is not really existing anymore)
The room needs a little bit of maintainance. Without a vehicle it is hard to move around and the trikes you can call are super expensive (not the owners' fault of course but...)
Nice little beach for a swim. The cabin was comfortable.
No comfortable chairs.
The incredible view, tita Fe and kuya Erning are always been helpful, the food is good.
The portion of the food, maybe a little less
Lovely family running the site. Very nice food. Beautiful, unspoilt location
Muddy, difficult road when it rains. Limited in terms of eg. ATM's because it's still undeveloped
nice location with very few tourists.
This mom and pop operation in a small fishing village has everything you need for a quiet stay. Ati Fe will cook whatever you ask her for. (I wanted fried fish, then kinilaw the second day. She accommodated both.) Great wifi reaches all the way to the beach. Wonderful staff (adult kids of the owners) will do everything to make your stay great, including arranging transport and helping you find economical ways to get to El Nido. They even gave me a toothbrush, soap, and shampoo in a welcome package. I'd been told to bring my own soap so this was a great bonus.
I wish I didn't have to use the aircon... the cabanas could still be renovated to open windows on both sides to allow a breeze through them. I would have been happy with a fan at this time of year. This would save both the electricity bill and environmental impact.
Don’t miss the beach that’s just 10 minutes away! You always have it all to yourself. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)
Beachfront property, near a hundred steps with amazing view!
No communication regarding van that was suppose to drop off us at the property. Waited for almost an hour messaged the resort and tried calling but no response. Thus we just rented a car going to San Vicente.
The food tasted good but took a long time for it to be made.
It is a fishing village, nothing wrong with that per se but with the water shoreline filled with them, the chances of swimming in oil does come to mind. The hut I booked had only 1 window. It was hot and humid inside and we had to request for another fan. There also was no screen on the window and the curtain didn't provide much privacy. The journey to San Vicente was a long one. Dogs would be next to us while we ate. They were nice but their presence was unsettling for my daughter coz they wanted food and she didn't want to get bitten. I don't know why they even thought of offering 1 out of the 3 huts to have no air-conditioning.
Loved the location, staff were accommodating and helpful
The facilities, especially the bathroom, needs a bit of an update
Lovely quiet resort right on the beachfront. The beach is very clean and clear. You are able to snorkel straight off the beach. There also is a small boat to hire. Delicious food at reasonable prices and fantastic sunsets. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. Only cold water available, but not an issue in the heat. The room had a fan which was enough to keep cool at night. Lovely place. Highly recommended.
It’s in front of the beach. As a recommendation, it would be important to clarify the best options to get to the lodge, because it is possible to get there from Port Borton, but it is much better from San Vicente.
The room and bathroom need maintenance , they look old and neglected.
The cabin is very spacious, big bed, hangers available, clothes hanger, sea view, good food, dog friendly, great place
The wait for food is really long, after ordering a trip the day before, we were told 20 minutes before departure that there was no trip and without giving a reason, a private boat was offered 100% more expensive
Beautiful location! It’s in a little fishing village. Very quiet and calm, the beach is empty and clean. The old man (owner) is very funny and friendly
The shower was not really working (low water pressure)
The location is really in the beach front. Hut size was fine for us .Spacious bathoom and has a big parking area. They have standfan beside our bed plus mosquito net.
The room that we had smells like pee. During our stay the whole night was so stressful, stray dogs were barking and fighting just beside our hut,it's impossible to get some good sleep. Bfast was only sandwiches with black coffee and that's it.
It was very simple and basic but had everything I needed. Simple food and they got me fruit from the market. It is a 20 minute ride to San Vincente and at this time 1/3 of the road is rough. So I stayed on the beach most of the time. They arranged transport for me and a day island hopping which was great. But the best thing was just relaxing watching local fishermen. Good internet if you want it.
Rough roads , not good for a bad back and hopefully their construction will be finished in a couple of weeks so will be quieter.
Simple huts right in the beachfront - basic but beautiful location and very peaceful
Good staff! Very helpful and attentive.
Breakfast could be better.
In front of the nice and quiet beach with sandy bottom, placed in friendly local village, close to the viepoint all the way by car. Food and drinks available.
Some food choices are a little overpriced but I thought that fish is a great value.
Calm, peace - great family running the place. It’s a place for people who are running away from places like El Nido - due to the harsh like city vibes. This is what Philippines are about.
Great place. This is what Philippines are about.
Location was very remote and didn't realise how far from Port Barton. However, we loved our stay and just had chillax time. A fantastic place to wind down, read and do nothing but look at the amazing surroundings. The cook- Shirley was lovely and would go to the market to grab local supplies (seafood) to cook for us each meal. Her squid dishes were amazing as was her fish sinigang was the best we had on our entire trip. We felt so welcomed and looked after.
Larger beds for couples perhaps
Napaka bait ng staff, maasikaso
None
Cosy place, nice room, good food, friendly staff, beautiful beach, quiet neighborhood
Nothing
The place has better wifi connection. It's location is in front of the beach and beach is not rocky really good for swimming and chill. Ma'am fe was nice she arrange my land tour and make it possible even if it's rush because i have a same day flight. The cook really good. Its better food i tasted during my stay at Port barton. Food at Port Barton is so pricey yet flat.
The place needs a little renovation because of the typhoon
Nothing
We booked because they were part of the options given by Booking for Port Barton. We had to pay in advance. When we arrived at night, It turned to be 2 hours away from Port Barton. It would be ok but they were helpless and we had to pay all the money, even if the policy was to pay half of the price if we cancel. So bad because of the way they handle the situation.
Beachfront, very lovely beach, extremely tranquil. No noise anywhere, barely any people. This is a small local village off the beaten path, there aren’t tourist amenities here. But the inn has everything you need, they provide food and drinks, the wifi is good, there is a fan next to the bed, the electricity works consistently. Nearby is the very famous Long Beach. The bed is sooooo comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful.
I liked everything. But some notes for other travelers: - not much to do here at all, only relax and enjoy the beach, so come here if you want to experience some peace and quiet. - no ventilation in the bathroom, and in the typical style the shower is not separated, so the bathroom floor will always be wet and there appears to be some mold from the constant moisture. - no AC. But I found the fan next to the bed was plenty at night.
Location is by the beach which was nice and quiet. Owners were friendly and helpful. Place felt secluded as there were only 2 other huts/rooms.
The staff were so accommodating and truely took care of us. They went above and beyond.
Lovely and cosy bungalow in a quiet area. Much better than Port Barton, this is a true Filipino village. Come here to avoid tourist crowds Despite of my negative comments this is the second best place I have stayed by now in Filipines. Compared to other hotels this one has a great service from the personnel
I will comment the same as in other Filipino hotels because I found the same problem in all of them 1- usually a basic service 2- poor bathroom amenities 3- no room make up 4- poor quality Vs cost rate, in other terms: hotels at Philippines use to have a high cost against quality and service, if you compare this with other countries with a higher cost of life as Thailand. Most of those problems would be solved with very little cost for the owner and with well trained personnel Note this hotel is by far one the best
Acuiro is a small beach side inn in San Vicente, about 15 minutes from the airport. The women who run the inn are really friendly and go out of their way to make your life comfortable (they ordered pizza for us from the town center and got us a power converter). If you need to spend a night or two before your fly out, do give Acuiro a visit!
Amazing place to relax. The family who runs the place we're very nice and welcoming. They booked a van from our previous destination to their hotel and the van for our next destination. The sunset view was stunning!
The place is soooo beautiful and peaceful ❤️ Staff was nice. Food was delicious. Their dogs were kind and sweet. If I ever go back to Palawan I would get back go this place
My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a really great time. very peaceful on the beach, amazing sunsets, very clean and well maintained bungalows, the shower was very good and the pressure is better than most hotels in phillipines! very helpful and kind Fillipino family, the food is very good, the BBQ fish was one of the nicest fish I’ve honestly ever had, about 5 minutes in a tricycle to San Vicente town which is very handy, 5 minute walk to a beautiful secluded secret beach called capari which we went to. Would highly recommend staying here for that bungalow on a beach experience.
Nothing comes to mind.
The location was absolutely stunning! The beach was lovely, and to watch the sunset was a beautiful experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The staff were also very informative in regards to other locations and hotels.
The bed was not very comfy.
the location is nice. very quiet fishing village with clean beach. near other beaches such as long beach and can go to port barton island hopping as well. staff was great and very helpful with everything such as booking and contactinf boat, transfer and other needed items. food was nice homemade meals. the room has aircon and hot shower. internet wifi was super fast.
none. everything was great.
The "tranquility". Calmness. It's such a perfect place to rest after a long travel or if you're tired to heard the noisy traffic in the center of palawan or tired of being in the crowded beaches of elnido.. this place is perfect.
Little choices of food but we do understand since its the christmas season and the weather is not good..The road going there is little hard since its raining.a lot of broken glass in the beachside..thats a sad thing so you have to wear slippers/shoes when you go swimming.
40 steps and you are in to the ocean no tourists around , super chill friendly host
breakfast not the.best food service very basic and long wait to get food
Very accomodating Arranges for tours, transpo, good food Keen to guest's preferences
sunset was beautiful
malamok
It was the most amazing location of whole palawan so beautiful and calm
The location is nice, beachfront A little bit outside
No water in bathroom, not for shower, not for toilet... Neighbours Karaoke until late 3am...
Far away from everything! If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet, private beach, this is it! All the family staff onsite is really nice! You can rent boat for your own, snorkeling mask, order food... Everything from the beach! Awesome experience
