Very comfortable right on the seafront ,I cant comment on the breakfast aswe were visiting family but would recomend this guest house will be back soon

Cosy little B&B. Close enough to entertainment, in walking distance but not so close it was noisy. Clean, cute and well kept family friendly. The breakfast was great with options of what you want and the staff were so polite and friendly. Definitely recommend Pebbles for a stay in Southend.

Lovely place, lovely owner! We failed to notify the owner about our breakfast requirements, but she was still kind enough to rustle us up something in spite of it!

Better next door neighbours that didn't use the loo in the wee hours of the morning! There was nothing we didn't like about this lovely place really.

Having to wait outside i hear because we arrived early, misunderstanding over breakfast times, which countered the printed information at the hotel.

Die Buchung und Check-in verliefen unkompliziert. Das Personal war freundlich. Es gab einen Wasserkocher, Tee, Kaffee und Kaffeesahne. Die Lage ist auch perfekt, direkt am Strand.

Der Teppichboden hatte viele Flecken und war verschmutzt, man geht praktisch gleich ins Zimmer rein und hat keine Möglichkeit die Schuhe auszuziehen und nicht mit den Strassenschuhen über den Teppich zu laufen.

what can i say was met by the lovely host laura who welcomed us to pebble’s guest houe showed us to our room, and what a room it was done beautifully light bright colours everything you could dream of in a room with a lovely bathroom shower spotlessly clean a settee to relax on tv and the best bit for us was the balcony with sun lounger table and chairs and a view to die for overlooking the sea just 20 or 30 yards away we had a great nights sleep went downstairs to a lovely dining area for a cooked breakfast all cooked fresh to order and that was superb as well what else can i say apart from thankyou again laura for making our stay at pebbles guest house so special will definitely be back..

A traditional seaside B&B maintained in excellent order with, in our case, a small well decorated and clean room other small en suite. Enjoyable breakfast. Excellent accommodation for a simple overnight stay right by the sea.

Parking a car nearby can be a challenge at busy times although we were fortunate

Good location but very difficult to park On booking.com it says breakfast included But it is not at all. Upon arrival I was given keys and told to leave them in the morning on the side table .

Second time staying here. Comfortable, clean, great value for money and a fabulous location. Helps that the skies have been blue both times but even with bad weather you can't beat the sea view!

Ligging is prachtig aan de boulevard. Ontbijt is goed in een nette serre.

The suite at the front of the guest house is great .... Having the balcony to sit out on and relax with a fantastic view of the Seafront both ways is what makes it !! Laura is very welcoming and courteous and makes you feel instantly relaxed. The room is very clean and comfortable and spacious with a kettle and tea/coffee and biscuits. The breakfast room is lovely, with a choice of cereals and fruit etc, and the cooked breakfast was delicious 😋 Overall a very nice relaxing stay......would definitely recommend.

It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room, but apart from that I cannot fault it at all....

As soon as the sun came up there was no way of keeping the light out. Better curtains or blinds would be good. Friends of ours booked the previous day, they paid the same as us, but their booking included breakfast The use of the word “luxury” isn’t accurate

Great guesthouse with fab staff, in a great location. It is so reasonably priced and does exactly what it says on the tin. We've stayed many times now and will be back again soon. Highly recommended!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights and it was lovely, our room was as we expected comfy bed, tea and coffee, and a nice view of the garden. We thought the location was perfect, just across the road from the beach and ncie little cafes and shops. we are looking forward to returning some time this summer. Thank you.

Very comfortable and clean room, with a beautiful view of the seafront. The location was quiet but still close to the centre either via walking or public transport. Staff were polite and present. The breakfast offer is cheaper than most places nearby.

Wonderful friendly welcome from Laura who was hugely helpful to work around our timings for attendance at a wedding, and a lovely clean, quiet room. Nice breakfast.

Lovely character property with bonuses of balconies onto the seafront & sun roof terrace to the rear, well looked after, and tastefully decorated. Warm welcome from the hosts and breakfast was top class.

Rear facing room was an awkward shape that limited the size of the double bed & en-suite which were a little small for someone over 6ft tall. Fine for our 1 night stay though.

Having booked via booking .com breakfast was included in the room rate , the owner Laura had messaged across to me this was an error and breakfast was unavailable that weekend, but I did not receive the message until after it was too late to cancel and rebook somewhere with breakfast. I would not have booked if I was aware there was no breakfast that weekend. She has since called to explain there was miscommunication and apologized.

We were met by the owner on arrival, who was very friendly. The room was beautiful and very clean, with views across the estuary. A nice feature of the room is the balcony, with a glazed section, so you can enjoy it in all weathers. The room was a little cold when we arrived (well, it was February) but turning on the supplied heater soon made it toasty. Absolutely gutted that our travel plans didn't allow us to try the breakfast - I've a feeling we really missed out there!
