Roslin Beach Hotel

We stayed here for two nights as we were having my mother’s celebration of life there. Everything was done very well and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast and the food for the buffet were excellent. I would recommend this hotel.

For us, it was just to the other end of the seafront and we needed to be at the Leigh end. But, otherwise it was really fabulous.

Beautiful hotel, great location and seaside vibe inside and out. The chocolates in our room were a lovely touch.

Being reminded three times that they needed our table on the terrace back 45 mins, 40 mins and 30 mins before our time slot was up was unnecessary and very annoying. We were made aware we could have it for hour when allocated the table and did not need reminding, however one reminder 5/10 mins before our time was up would have been absolutely fine.

This is my fourth visit and I brought my daughter this time who loved our room and balcony. As always our room was clean and comfortable. It was a particular hot day and our air con in the room was excellent. The breakfast and staff at breakfast were excellent as well. We didn't have time for dinner and coffee this time but once again I felt really relaxed after my stay. Thank you.

This property is a unique gem - it has evolved over the years with class and elegance. The entire dečor is beautiful, the staff professional and friendly and the food of very high quality. I first stayed at the property in 1979 and keep returning-

Simply wonderful. Went for lunch as a birthday treat with my friend. We had booked the Verandah but was relieved to see we had been moved to the restaurant as it was blowing a gale outside. The whole occasion was first class, delicious food and cocktails and the service from all the staff was first class. A particular shout out must go to Sofia who made us feel really welcome and even arranged a little birthday surprise for me. Not my first visit to the Roslin, but first in a while, will definitely not leave it so long next time.

Wow! We chose this hotel because it looked just right for a relaxed and special staycation and it was certainly that. Free parking, gorgeous sea view, beautiful veranda brasserie, smart restaurant and very pretty breakfast room. Food was superb. The Mulberry Suite was gorgeous and we especially loved the view and the balcony with furniture placed perfectly to appreciate it completely. The bathroom was amazing too with a roll top bath and a double shower!

Stayed in the Mulberry Suite for our wedding day/night as this was part of our wedding package at the Roslin. The room was spotless, fresh, large and very luxurious - we were delighted. Lovely big room, bathroom and lots of goodies included. We slept well and the breakfast in the morning was very tasty and presented well. We are local but will be staying again for a spa break as we had a fantastic stay. Very luck to have this venue so close.

We have stayed with Roslin Beach Hotel Many times it is always fantastic. We just had our second wedding anniversary with them this August. I had booked a little late so no rooms with balcony left called and spoke to the lovely Karen she said if a cancelation comes up she will call me. A few days passed she did call back which I thought was fantastic Karen offered a room with a balcony and explained that a weeding was going on and would finish at midnight would that be a problem due to the music I went for it. She asked if it was a special occasion and when we arrived they had written happy anniversary with Red rose pettles on the bed which was a lovely touch for my wife. The room was fantastic as always and the team are all top notch really enjoyed the stay.

Stayed overnight after a day trip to Rochester the lounge was welcoming and the room was excellent having been upgraded for free, the breakfast was second to none and the staff always willing to deal with your request.

Staff at both reception and in the restaurant were excellent. Very friendly and professional. We ate in the restaurant two nights and food was great.

It was hard to park in the hotel car park, we managed to find a last space but there is alternative paying parking nearby or free if you park further away.

Two events going on at the same time, super loud music and then our room backing onto the laundry meant no sleep.

My friends and I took advantage of a special offer The Roslin emailed out which was for 2 treatments and a 2 course meal. The back massage and facial were divine and I can definitely recommend the Prawn Linguine and Sticky Toffee Pudding! We were lucky to get an outside table and it felt like we were abroad so decided to order some cocktails... The service was great -staff were very attentive. Just wished we could've booked rooms too, as I definitely needed a Siesta afterwards. Can 100% recommend The Roslin!

The hotel was Amazing, we were there for our daughters wedding. from the moment we stepped into the hotel it was wonderful . We had a free upgrade, they treated us and our dog like royalty. The wedding was just fabulous, the food was great they did a great job as our son-in-law is a Vegan It was plentiful. The DJ was just right for all the guests and everyone had such a great time. Mulberry suite was beautiful with a stunning balcony, double shower, roll top bath. Bed was very comfortable with luxurious linens. General manager was very friendly and helpful, a really fabulous stay.

Stayed here on our wedding night. The room was perfect with a balcony overlooking the sea. The team went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time with lots of added touches.

I visited with the intention of seeing if this would be a suitable wedding location. However. Both nights we were kept awake for hours from the 2 events going on at the same time and washing machine/spin dryers going all through the night. I rang down to ask when the events might finish and was met with a curt response. Sadly, as beautiful as this would be as a venue, our stay was spoiled and this is not the one for us.

My husband and I have stayed at the hotel a few times now and have enjoyed every minute. All the staff are amazing and the restaurant and rooms are wonderful.

Recent stay for a work trip and what a fantastic hotel, wow! Amazing location, with incredibly friendly and attentive staff throughout our stay. I’d highly recommend it if you’re ever visiting the area, whatever the occasion. The breakfast was also sublime, the flatbread breakfast in particular was crazily good! 😊

Great Hotel, a lovely room with seaview and balcony, nice food and staff, a relaxing stay well worth a visit.

We just came home from what was a simply perfect break in this lovely hotel with its wonderful staff. Everything is clean and wonderfully decorated throughout. We loved the veranda and could have sat there for hours. Wonderful food, couldn’t fault it. The king bed was really comfortable, we appreciated the aircon which was effective and very quiet. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and the staff all appeared happy and helpful so thank you. We celebrated a birthday here and appreciate how special you made it. Had a treatment today each which was also perfect. Walking distance into town along the prom if you want a stroll after breakfast. Do book you won’t regret it!

Lovely run private hotel with great sea views and lots of room & dining options. Ww were there on a Sunday night and clearly popular with locals and return guests for weddings/ birthdays/ family get togethers etc. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Also have a lovely Spa where I had a great massage. A very relaxing break .

First class hotel in a fantastic location. Food is very good value for money, service excellent. The rooms are clean and tidy with an amazing bed. Best night sleep we have had in a while. Bonus is plenty of free on site parking. The walk into Southend is about a mile but the frequent busses stop outside. I can really recommend this hotel, for me it’s Southends best.

My husband and I have had lunch there a couple of times with our daughters. This time we had dinner, bed & breakfast a gift from our 2 daughters & son for our 60th wedding anniversary. I have reduced mobility & use a walker. Everyone of the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were ramps everywhere so getting around was not a problem. My husband and I had a lovely time and although not cheap would highly recommend it. Definitely 10/10.

This hotel is a true gem. Excellent customer service friendly polite staff all make it this way. Nothing too much trouble. We will definitely return soon...even if it is 3hrs away! Well worth it.

Whole experience was excellent. Hotel staff and food were five stars. Would recommend for family events, big birthdays etc. Very accommodating and tentative. Highly recommended.

Insure enough toilet supplies in rooms..for example tissues and toilet rolls. Although not a serious complaint these were somewhat lacking for a top price suite.

Stayed here Wednesday night was a little sceptical as when pulled in car park couldn't see much ,however what a lovely hotel room excellent massive lots of amenities and soft furnishings, staff friendly nice seating area overlooking the beach and the breakfast was outstanding Freshly cooked and big portions This place is a real gem

We had our sons wedding there and everything was well organised excellent staff. Car Parking is sometimes a problem, as the restaurants and outside dining is ;popular.

The main hotel facilities were well maintained, clean, and presented to a high standard. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome touches, including the chocolates and complimentary drinks in the fridge, which made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.

The main disappointment was the size of the room, which felt extremely small. There was very little space to move around comfortably or store luggage, which was particularly noticeable during a two-night stay. For the price of two nights we could have found something with a better view and size locally. Other touches weren't great, body wash and hand wash bottles didn't pump and fridge wasn't cold at all. The service was generally good, but on Friday evening at dinner the team appeared quite stretched. While it was clear that the hotel was busy, the service felt unattentive and slow at times.

We stayed for a friend's 60th birthday celebration. Every staff member, without exception, was so polite, helpful and welcoming. The food was superb both for our evening meal and breakfast. Compliments to the kitchen staff.

Amazing!!!!! The room was outstanding, I loved the detail of the decor in the room. The whole vibe of the hotel is excellent. Would stay there again for sure highly recommended, it maybe a bit pricey but to be honest its worth it for the experience in every way.

It was a beautiful setting right on the beach and the food, service and ambiance was excellent.

Lovely looking hotel, room was perfect with comfortable bed and really nice bathroom. Aircon was really good in the room. Food was great, we ate in the brasserie for a late small lunch and we ordered breakfast room service. Checking in and out was straightforward.

Car park was full due to a wedding on site, meaning we had to park on street. Service in the bar is relatively slow.

I had my wedding day here last June. Unfortunately my husband passed away last August. I have such fond memories at this hotel so stayed here on what would have been my 1st wedding anniversary. This hotel is the best hotel in UK, It’s got such a good atmosphere, staff are amazing, rooms are fab and food is superb. I felt comfortable staying here on my own and having family and friends join me in restaurant on 19th June for a lovely meal. I wish I lived around corner as would come here all the time. Once again shared a delightful afternoon tea with my daughter to celebrate her Birthday. Beautiful setting, good atmosphere & the sandwiches & cakes were delicious as always. The scones are so light they melt in your mouth & the little pastries were a joy! Look forward to another visit soon hopefully!

Our first time at the Roslin Hotel and will definitely not be our last hopefully. The room was so spacious and beautifully decorated and furnished, it was very comfortable and extremely clean. We was in The Beach House' section of the hotel and it was lovely, with a sea view window, which was such an added bonus. All the staff from the moment we entered the hotel were very courteous and friendly, from the reception to the bar- staff and waitresses. The breakfast was very varied with a great selection of options. We had the Traditional English breakfast and it was delicious 😋 This hotel is exceptional, can't wait to stay here again. I can't praise it enough ...10 out of 10.....

We had a really lovely relaxed day and night at the Roslin hotel, the staff were very welcoming from the moment we entered the Hotel. From the reception staff to the bar staff and waitresses all of them are extremely courteous and polite. The small Double room in 'The beach house' section of the hotel was beautiful, extremely clean and comfortable and had the added bonus of a front sea facing window which we wasn't expecting !! So the view was brilliant ! The breakfast was absolutely lovely and very filling, plenty of choice .... Cereals, fruit, juices etc.. We had the the full English breakfast and it was perfectly cooked ! There is simply nothing to fault at this beautiful hotel .... The ambience and attention to detail makes the whole experience an amazing time ! Credit to all the staff at this beautiful Hotel .

My partner booked me the stay and spa weekend, the staff are really wonderful and are always so helpful and welcoming . The spa treatment was amazing and I left feeling so chilled and happy . The hotel is beautiful and we have booked our wedding there for Sept 2027 def worth a visit , the food is soo good , we had an afternoon tea , can’t wait to go back again
