Location, coffee bar
No bathroom fan or vent.
The breakfast was awful, and there was very limited options. I expect much higher quality when at a Hilton in this price range.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Ask for the card for parking or it costs you $25.00 Everytime you leave. The bed was very comfortable.
Bathroom floor needed scrubbing, walls are thin, kids stayed next door to us and didn't settle down until 11ish.
Great graduate spirit
In our first room assigned, the bathroom light switch would not let us turn off the light. We were cheerfully assigned a new room and everything was fine.
The view from my room
Great location and unique style.
The location is 2 blocks from Haymaker
I was charged a $75 pet fee for one night stay, the fee was not disclosed in the description and they would not give me a discount when I arrived. The curtains in the king room that I book would not close so it was quite bright at night
Location, staff and coffee pot in the room. All great!
The only bad thing was the age of the building and its effect on asthma.

Price
The location was wonderful for being able to park our car and not use it again until we were ready to leave two days later. It was the perfect location to enjoy all the fun places in downtown Lincoln. Also, it was a nice, short walk to Pinnacle Bank Arena where we attended graduation.
My husband wished the room had a microwave. Although there was a way to make hot water for instant coffee/tea in the room, he would have preferred it if the lobby had FREE coffee and breakfast. NOTE: there is a little cafe in the lobby that sells custom coffee and snacks.
The decor is lovely. Such a fun place to stay and so conveniently located.
The coffee shop in the Lobby is great. The decor is fun. There are lots of restaurants near by.
Parking sucks - either $23/day in the garage or fight for a spot on the street which is 1.50/hour free from 6pm-8am. Oh, and the gal at the desk told me she could just put parking charges on my room, then didn't tell me how to do that so I paid twice for one day and they can't refund me. The pool is 4-7ft deep and so cold. Not good for kids. The breakfast is expensive to add on and it's awful. Elevators are so slow, small, and dirty! No ice or vending on my floor. Ice is only available in the Lobby. Vending is scattered and sparse. I feel like I'm being nickled and dimed to death here for a subpar experience.
The decor! So cute. I love the retro vibes. The location, in Haymarket, is awesome.
The shower.
The staff was nice
Our sheets were dirty/stained. The bathroom was disgusting, there was hair all over the floor and shower, the toilet looked like it was never cleaned and smelled awful.
Everything. The staff were all great!
Pet friendly and close to Haymarket
Location is excellent. Service and cleanliness was amazing.
The price was a little high for a weekday stay
Nothing
Had nets flying around in the restroom of the first room I was issued. Took 2 phone calls and over 30-40 mins for anyone to respond. Was moved to another room only find black mold and dirty bed sheets. I requested my money back only to find out the hotel has to coordinate with the booking agency to return my money. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and I would like a refund. Parking garage was dirty and the parking was not very accommodating for SUVs
There wasn’t breakfast
The bathroom was quite small.

Nice, clean, and great location
Parking garage is too small… damaged my car rental trying to drive through it. Ended up having to park in an open public parking lot.
The desk staff was friendly and helpful. The decor is unique and fun.
This is a downtown hotel on a crazy busy street surrounded by one way streets. Once we got to the parking deck, we felt better.
Unique decor. Close to food and drinks.
there was no airport shuttle
Stayed for a concert. It was within walking distance of the arena and had tons of food and bar options around it. Great place. Super clean and nice!
It was very calm and quiet. The facilities needed a bit more attention!
Love the interesting decorations. Comfortable bed!
Loved the vibe! The retro, 70’s vintage style was eccentric in the best way!
Cleanliness could have been a bit better. There were stains on the carpet in the hallways and our bathroom mirror was disgusting upon arrival in the room. My biggest issue was them trying to charge me almost $280 more than what I booked the room for through booking. If I did not have the proof and would have not brought it up they would have charged me well over than what I agreed to.
The rooms are outdated and there was black mold on the ceiling. I brought it to their attention but they said said they couldn’t move me because they were full. So they did nothing about it. She said they have had issue with it. I have stage 4 cancer and I really didn’t want to stay in that room but had no choice.
We enjoyed our stay! It was a great little hotel in a nice area. Food was delicious at the hotel and all the staff was sweet.
Place was great!
Fast, easy check in. Rooms were clean
Good location but older hotel and rooms can use some renovation
Very friendly and helpful front desk staff.
Cool retro hotel. Looked like a dorm room From the 1960. My only concern is the sheets had a blood stain on the bottom.
They tried to tell us we only had two rooms booked (we had three). Then they had one of our rooms double booked and it took us two hours to finally get into a room. Then I was charged much more than I had been told I would and was also charged for parking even though we didn’t park at the hotel.
Great location.. Friendly staff, and within walking distance to many restaurants and bars.
Great hotel! Very clean, friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant and bar had great menu options and friendly service. Loved the decor and vibe!
The valet service was superb on game day!
Very cute and clean
Loud street noise, but it was the day of a college football game.
Top floor roon with a view was absolutely amazing !
I wish they would just put the parking in the price of the room. Got there and it's an extra fee for parking. I thought I paid all the taxes and fees when I made the reservation but apparently that was not the case.
This place was awesome!! Cutest and cleanest property ever!!
Location is good, but hotel is rally run down and in desperate need of upgrades.
Retro type decor which was a cool theme. Price was a too much. Parking garage is not included so that's an additional $25 for a night.
The concept of this hotel is quaint. The furnishings are unique and add to the overall experience. The hotel needs some TLC as evidence of water leaks are abundant throughout the room. Great area, with many dining options within walking distance of property. Loved the area, would definitely visit again and recommend other travelers book this property as well!
Excellent
Very easy walk to Memorial Stadium, Pinnacle Bank Arena, Railyard, Haymarket, etc. Booked room on Husker game weekend so knew we were paying more but IMO room/hotel is worth the regular rate, but was not worth the $438.39/night, plus parking and breakfast expense in addition to that. Was lots of traffic noise from street (we were on the 12th floor), out of coffee in lobby both mornings we were there, key cards did not work 2 of the times we returned to our room and had to be replaced. Nice to have parking garage on-site, but tight for larger vehicles and even hotel guests had to pay to park there. Would have been nice to have free breakfast option, especially for cost of rental. Beds were comfy and rooms were decorated with some fun, if not slightly tacky, Nebraska related decor. Our kids, and my husband, enjoyed the arcade games in the lobby.
Our bedding was wet. They brought us dry linens at 11:00-11:30 pm.. dropped them off and we had to change the beds ourselves. By 4:30 am we woke up wet again. Something is wrong with the ac or their moisture control. Even our clothes were damp and i should have known by the warped wooden panels on the walls. We had no hot water the first night. A towel looked like someone had wiped with it. Tub wouldn’t drain well. The front staff was SUPER sweet and nice, I’d say that was the only upside to staying there.
Parking garage is awful for anything but small cars, but other than that, it’s great!
House cleaning did a poor job during our stay.
Vintage hotel. Very cute. Complimentary coffee in the mornings! and near everything in Lincoln which is very walkable.
Always a great stay.
This was the absolute best hotel. Walking distance to everything. Easy walk to the stadium and campus. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby! Go Big Red!
We booked the premier suite on the property four months out and it was not clean and the staff acted annoyed by everything. Super disappointing.
Great again
Easy check in and comfortably bed.
Great stay!
Super cute hotel and fun neighborhood! Very nice and helpful staff (Nebraska Nice for sure!). Will definitely stay here again when I am in Lincoln.
Great place friendly staff!
Love the decor and comfort of the room. We stayed four nights and the room was cleaned on the first day. The second day I was working so I had the do-not-disturb sign on. But no one came the following days so the garbage et all was a bit much. Also, I was working on my laptop and the hotel repeatedly canceled my internet, giving me 5-minute time-outs of some sort.
I wish parking was included, price high considering we are already paying stay.
This hotel is awesome. The staff are friendly and were a joy to be around. The decor is full on corn husker. :o) Fabulous location- everything is walking distance.
The property was clean and conveniently located in downtown Lincoln. It is close to many good restaurants and some shopping. It has a parking garage adjacent to the hotel, which, while you had to pay extra, was a nice feature for security for the vehicle. The rooms were clean and had interesting decor. The beds were very comfortable.
I love this place. The people are awesome very nice and very attentive. I have stayed there multiple times and will continue.
The decor in The Graduate is a lot of fun. I loved staying in such a unique hotel.
I will say this has been some of the best customer service we've recieved at a stay in quite awhile. We stayed for my daughters 18th birthday so it was perfect for that. Only side note id make is some arears look like they may need some repairs. We loved the themed room and seeing all the history throughout the hotel. We will definitely be staying again!
Window was leaking water from rain. Garage was very narrow, so You would not be able to fit a bigger vehicle. They had spots for bigger vehicles but that was very limited to about less than 10
Very loud. There was a tornado warning and there was no notification. The bedding was almost wet because it was so humid. No coffee maker.
Quirky vibes, very comfy bed!
Close to everything downtown
I really wish there was an in-room coffee pot. There were instant coffee packets and an electric kettle, but it’s just not the same. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were SO soft that your head would just sink to the bed all night. We were so sore when we woke up! There was a painting of a woman on the wall that seemed to be staring down on the bed (that was super creepy) and corn cobs on the curtains and wallpaper for some added charm. We especially loved how close it was to the venue, how easy it was to get to and from, and how The Graduate was so centrally located that we could walk to and from the venues and other areas for food & shopping.
The bed was comfortable. The balcony had broken glass under the table, there was a broken chair on the side of the balcony, weeds were growing on the balcony, it looked like mold was growing on the balcony. The carpet by both doors needed to be stretched badly. No extra toilet paper or plastic glasses for water. The ice machine area needed updated. The carpet and elevators needed updated.
Clean and cozy with fun decor! Staff were very friendly as well. We had a neat view of Memorial Stadium as well. We would stay again next time we are in Lincoln!
We love the Graduate. Perfect for walking to the Haymarket area. Great food and drinks at the Single Barrel onsite. Makenna at the front desk was fantastic!

9.5/10Consistently positive: staff described as nice, friendly, accommodating and amazing across several reviews.
Location
9.5/10Strongly positive: repeatedly praised for being in a perfect/central spot (near Haymarket, close to Pinnacle Bank Arena) and ideal for downtown activities.
Room Quality
8.5/10Generally good: beds described as comfortable/super; some issues noted (thin walls, curtains that won't close, occasional light-switch problems, aging building affecting asthma).
Amenities
8.4/10Mostly positive: in-room coffee pot and lobby cafe, parking card system noted; some disappointments (bistro buffet only on weekends, no microwave in room, no bathroom fan).
Value for Money
5/10Negative: guests felt it was expensive given issues (dirty towels, undisclosed $75 pet fee, extra charges like $25 parking each exit, and surprises around paid bistro availability).
Food and Beverage
6.5/10Mixed: several complaints about an awful/limited breakfast and buffet availability, balanced by praise for an exceptional restaurant and available coffee options for purchase.
Overall Experience
9/10Generally positive overall due to standout location, unique retro decor and excellent staff, though marred for some by cleanliness lapses, fees, and a few room/amenity shortcomings.
