Not even water or coffee near the front desk 24*7 like nearby hotels. No all-incl packages like food and beverages package. Everything needs separate payment. Even strict “towel card” policy is sounds dumb

We have come here for years. We miss the parrots. The hotel rooms on the upstairs “arms” have carpet that smellls bad and the AC struggles to keep up. The location is awesome. The pool is perfect and the beach and restaurant are really good. Poolside burgers are hard to beat as well. Rent the umbrella on the beach. It’s worth it! One downside was I left my charger (expensive one) and some cords in the room. After several calls they told me, “ we found them!” They then told me I could pick them up at the front desk…. We were 8 hours away at home. They told me, “Oh, we don’t ship things to people.” Color me stupid I guess. Wish they woulda just said we are keeping your stuff…

Property was amazing! Pool area is roomy, never felt crowded, plenty of chairs for everyone. Convenient beach towels available so you don’t have to worry about wet towels in your room. The view from the room was amazing! Staff was super friendly, answered any questions and went above and beyond to meet our needs without asking. Definitely will be back!

Overall i enjoy the facilities and location.

A certain member of the staff from the front desk was a little indifferent, and even came up as rude. Lack of motivation to provide a good service to me as a guest. Another detail is that the room had one or two cockroaches flying around the room for the duration of our stay, I did alert the cleaning lady but the roaches never went away.

The resort was AWESOME!! The location was great! Love the huge pool area! Beach in walking distance. We stayed in a room across from the beach on the lower level. It was surrounded with beautiful flowers and plants. And had chairs and a table to sit at and watch the sun rise and set. The bar had good drinks. Lots of souvenirs shops and restaurants near by. We will stay here again.

Housekeeping was really slow! We had to wait 2 hours for our room to be ready after driving 10 hours. Check in was at 4 it was after 6 when we got the room. Everyday housekeeping was really late or didn’t show up to deliver towels. We would have to go get them ourself. And the beds were not great but the resort made up for that.

The property is beautiful, the room had a couple of minor issues.

The only thing I wasn’t sure about was how to get to the restaurant and other entertainment area. Either i didn’t see it or more signage is appreciated.

I liked how close to the beach the property was and they had a nice gift and coffee shop.

Our full sized window made us feel exposed to everyone (needs a glass/tint that hides us). The game room smelled moldy and games didn’t work. The railing above our room looked like it was about to fall on us. The bathroom cabinets were dirty/dusty. The room above hung things on their balcony and it dripped on us. They had a fountain area near entrance that could use clean-up (seemed unkept with trash). They closed their deck area on a night we wanted to visit without giving us prior notice.

Rooms are outdated and not very well maintained, bathroom sink was clogged, toilet was wobbly. Rude & very low IQ staff (especially at reception).

The 1st room we had and the beach .

We checked out of the Isla Grand early because the stay simply wasn’t worth the high price. The place looks good in photos, but the reality is worn down, outdated, and nowhere near the quality they charge for. During our stay we dealt with loud partying guests, crying babies, and even people trying to get into our room through the adjoining door at 1:30 AM and again at 4 AM. Painters were working without covering vents, and our room filled with fumes. Parking is first‑come, first‑serve, so even though our room was in the back, we had to park all the way in front. When they finally moved us, they tried to downgrade us before settling on a second‑floor room with stained carpet, no cable TV, a shower that smelled like sewage, taped‑off construction areas, and a non‑working safe. We also witnessed drug deals and loud music right outside. For the price they charge, this place should be far better maintained and managed. We left disappointed and won’t be back.

Quite. Very comfortable bed. Pool was great. Restaurant breakfast buffet was delicious. Quarterdeck lounge was fun.

The rooms by the water the doors/ walls are paper thin.You can hear your whole neighbor's conversation very uncomfortable. We didn't get checked in the room until 4:45 because the room wasn't ready. The staff was rude at the front desk

Updated rooms, easy access to the beach. Plenty of on site options and many within walking distance. Gorgeous pools.

Pretty nice place to stay (the wife and I stayed in the cabana by tge pool). Chris at the new bar HalDeck was very approachable and accommodating. Only drawback was the pool rules of which you cant take your own beer and food. They do have the Whiskey Shack close by so you dont have to go far.

The rooms are outdated motel like experience. I booked partial ocean view but what a joke, was given a motel two story building no elevators. Rude check in. If you want a hotel experience this is not it. Grounds were pretty but I like comfort. Pick another place. Air conditioning so noisy it woke me up all night. View was pathetic. Unless you stay in the condo section do not bother to book. Wish I picked margaritaville resort. .

Very disappointed with my experience at Isla Grand Beach Resort. We checked into our first room and immediately found stains on the bedding before even using the room. We reported it and were moved to a second room, only to find more brown stains on the sheets there as well. When we asked about a refund because we no longer felt comfortable staying, the manager, Imelda, was rude and unprofessional. She told us the rooms were supposedly at a “discount rate” and non-refundable, even though this was never discussed when we booked the room in person. Instead of trying to help resolve the situation, she kept insisting the hotel was fully booked and that they would lose money. The issue wasn’t just the stained sheets, but also the way the situation was handled. Cleanliness and customer service should be taken seriously, especially when guests immediately report problems upon entering the room.

It was a good experience but the room was under whelming and the bed was probably the worst thing about it it was horrible and my back still hurts thinking about it but the place has a nice amenities area and the restaurant was good and the walk to the beach was very accessible

Que en la alberca tienes que comprar del bar, no te dejan meter tu bebida Solo había una máquina de hielo las demás no funcionaban Que no limpian la habitación todos los dias

El resort en general nos gustó, la extensión del horario del arcade, de las canchas de tenis, de las albercas muy bien (11 pm). El contar en el resort, espacio de entretenimiento para shows, música, áreas de televisión, super bien.

El día del check-out no nos dieron oportunidad de disfrutar las instalaciones durante todo el día, solo hasta las 11 am. Solo para citar un ejemplo, del 24 al 27 de abril de 2026 mi familia estuvimos hospedados en el Resort Moon Palace Cancún Nizuc All Inclusive y ahí después de hacer el check-out el hotel permite que sus huéspedes puedan utilizar en el día de la salida todas sus instalaciones, restaurantes y alimentos hasta las 11 pm.

Isla Grande on the Island is always a good experience.Especially this time as we made the mistake of going through 3rd party which made getting an accesible room more difficult. fortunately "Johnathan" at reception desk did an excellent job of helping as we both are older and could not make the steps easy to room assigned. He madee the extra efort,found us a good room and he was very courteous. Kudos to Management for having such a good employee.

My husband and I stayed at this resort for 2 nights. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pools are clean, and nicely designed. The walkway to the beach was nice. Beach umbrellas and chairs are available to rent. There are plenty of food options at this resort, and we had an adequate breakfast. We had room 218, which offered a partial ocean view from a second floor. There is no elevator to the second floor rooms. The desk clerk was happy to move our room so we could have more privacy, as the rooms on the first floor would have foot traffic near the patio. The ocean front rooms on the first floor do not have a view of the water, as a sand dune is blocking the view. The second floor ocean front rooms do have a view. The carpet in our room sorely needed replaced. It was dirty, wrinkled, and showed much wear. The room had AC, but it felt damp and smelled like a combo of musty and dryer sheets. The shower was nice and spacious with adequate water pressure. The water temp seemed to fluctuate from cool to warm during showers. The sliding glass door to our balcony was hard to lock and get open. The balcony furniture was dated and uncomfortable. The staff seemed friendly, and eager to help. We arrived 2 hours before check in, and we were able to get into our room right away. There is live music in one of the lounges on the weekends, so ask for a room away from that for more peace and quiet. Not an issue in our room. Music was playing near the pools during the day, and could be heard from our balcony, but it was not an issue, either.
