Kaijaiki Country Inn and Restaurant

The apartment was well equipped and beautifully decorated. the unit was spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast was great thanks to José. we had a private parking.

Ein so wunderbares kleines, gemütliches Inn. Unser Zimmer war so gemütlich und viel größer als es die Bilder vermuten ließen. Es hätte sogar einen offenen Kamin gehabt. Aber auch Heizplatten und Klimaanlage um heizen, es wurde kalt nachts, da Winter. Wasserkocher und Tee/Kaffee war im Zimmer, zudem ein kleines Fläschchen Obstlikör. Das angeschlossene Cafe/Restaurant war herzallerliebst schön, mit Shop. Das Frühstück sehr gut und das Personal ausgesprochen liebenswürdig.

Good breakfast in their coffee shop next door. It was cold and windy when we were there. The electric blankets were essential. Its close proximity to Yzer Bru, a pub and restaurant was excellent. Also to a wonderful bakery and two other coffee shops.

This shower door did not stay closed. The sink leaked into the basin below and soaked toiletries I had put there.

Perfect stay

Spacious and nicely furnished with a comfortable couch to sit on. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Great location - close to good restaurants.

Great location, friendly staff, they think of all the little details to make your stay warm and homely. Warm beds with electric blanket air conditioning, and bathroom essentials. breakfast was amazing and well presented.

New mattresses are a must. It's not pleasant to try and sleep when the matress coil pokes you in the back. Wifi needs an upgrade.

It was a nice, spacious room, fitted with everything you can need. Lovely interior and comfortable beds. We also had a lovely breakfast. Plus point for elderly people like us, is that we did not have to climb any stairs! Loved the accommodation.

The breakfast was excellent as well as the location. You can walk to all the restaurants, beach and even shops from the guesthouse.

Not sure I would call it a guest house, more a collection of rooms. The rooms were good but not wow, everything worked but I’ve stayed in places that had more to offer.

We spent one night and enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms are large, comfortable and well appointed and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. We enjoyed browsing the curio shop next to the restaurant and bought some souvenirs for friends back home. After checking out, I received a message from Linda telling me that I had left a jacket and electronic device in my room. She went above and beyond to get these items sent to me in Johannesburg before my flight back home. I appreciate her kindness and generosity and we hope to return one day to say thank you.

Loved the cafe - the setting was intimate and well thought out. Beautifully decorated cottages and the location was perfect. Also loved the quality of the food and all the lovely gifts in the gift shop. The staff and service were outstanding.

There was nothing I did not like about the property. The host went above and beyond for our stay providing extra towels, plates and necessities.

Stunning location with a beautiful koffee shop on the premises with lots of items and gifts to buy. Staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive to all one’s needs.

We loved the Maisonette cottage with the little terrace. Especially travelling with kids, it is great to have 2 separate beds on a different level. The little breakfast café was also very nice.. It is very close to the West Coast National Park and great if you want to spend the whole day in the park and don't want to drive back to Cape Town in the dark. It is very quiet.

Centrally located, yet very quiet. The room was lovely and very clean. The decor is uncluttered and cozy. A beautiful outdoor space is available for relaxing. The breakfast is served in the adjacent restaurant and is very flexible. I would recommend this place to anyone!!! The hostess and staff are an added bonus… so welcoming and friendly.

Loved the furnishings, had a beautiful smell when entering, very clean, little things like a chocolate on the bed, fresh milk, fresh water with mint, sherry, bathroom guest toiletries just make the stay more personalised. Good location - you can hear and smell the sea - within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

Kaijaiki is a true gem! I have stood in unit 4 which was super spaciouse, had a lovely well equipped kitchenett and a beautiful, tranquil view onto the courtyard. The next door coffee-store where breakfast is served is so cozy and food is deliciouse. Manager and staff go over and above to make my stay comfortable. Highly recommend it.

Only down side is the street noise one needs to block out in the morning.

The TV didn't work properly, but it didn't detract from our lovely stay.

Schönes großes Zimmer mit bequemen Betten. Sehr sauber. Personal sehr freundlich. Gutes Frühstück. Vor allem war der Ort der einzige auf unserer Rundreise wo an keinem Haus elektro Zäune waren. Man fühlte sich in der Unterkunft aber auch im ganzen Ort sicher

The breakfast was outstanding and served with such gracious hospitality. Location is very convenient for exploring Yzerfontein and the surrounding area. The room was very comfortable and such a relief to have air conditioning in an extreme heatwave. The staff we came in contact with were all so kind and gracious and happy!

I'd never been to Yzerfontein previously, and was unaware if the location would be ideal - but it was the perfect spot! Close walk to the beach, sports club, and a great artisanal bakery about 20 meters away.

I was worried about lighting at night in the rooms, but the blinds in front of all the windows was great - so there really wasn't anything I think they could improve upon. Perhaps a dispenser soap could be added in the shower.

Die Lage ist gut; recht ruhig, Meer zu Fuß erreichbar; tolle Bäckerei nur wenige Meter entfernt.

Sehr hellhörig. Im Nebenzimmer haben Kinder getobt, das war sehr gut zu hören; war aber nicht wirklich schlimm, denn nachts waren sie ruhig.

The location was nice and not too far from the beach. The decor and building were pretty and felt authentic to the area.

This isn’t a dislike just an observation. The morning light streaming in through the windows was a light bright, so additional blinds could help but a night mask did the trick for my wife.
