The mashed potatoes were good at dinner and the coffee from the kitchen at breakfast was good.
As a single mother that works hard for her money, I do not recommend this Hotel as a "staycation" - these are my reasons. Initially, I believed our room to be the Villa w/ the chaise lounge on the 1st floor on golf course- we ended up getting put into a Villa on the 2nd floor with no chaise lounge on ground/golf level. We did get into the room early (2 p.m. vs 4 pm) but maybe that is why.....they thought we would be happy getting in a room versus waiting. We were also separated from most everyone - I do not even think there was 1 other person in our Villa facing the golf course (dark at night too w/ ZERO lighting outside). We then called for a golf cart to take us to the pool- they never came so after 15 min., we walked to the pool ourselves. The ground around the pool was pretty dirty as mud kept getting on the white pool towels when we sat down - Prices are high for drinks at the pool but, that's to be expected. We then walked back to our room - got dinner in the room at $170 (w/ tip) - 2 people keep in mind and the next day we didn't even want to go back to the pool as it was very underwhelming, dirty and crowded. We got an $80 breakfast before we drove back out to our place- went through 10 - $10 bills in tips and grand Total for a 1-night stay w/ (2) meals and 3 mini fridge drinks was $1,600+ and some change. AGAIN, this post will not phase the "average" Ritz Carlton attendee but to a single mom that works hard and expects THE BEST for my money, this was not it.
Just checked in. The wardrobe is missing a rod? The drapes have been replaced by plantation shutters that do zero to block sound or light. Forget a restful evening. All I hear is traffic and some dog barking.
We signed up for the Martinis and Mahjong event. They put us in the restaurant, with the wrong size table, incomplete set and the teacher did not show up. The food was minimal, we had to order off the menu. They delivered 3 mini tinis..at one time..which meant they were warm, by the time we drank them. We talked to the hostess on duty, who did nothing. Wrote two emails to GM, and received no response. Very disappointing, at $125 per person. Not what you expect from a Ritz Carlton.
Resort-style winding pool is the standout—feels like a true escape. Knife Italian delivers on quality, and The Nelson Club adds real value with golf, aerial yoga, and reformer Pilates. Service is polished but genuine, and the location between Arlington and downtown Dallas (easy access to DFW and Love Field) makes it a smart base for major events like the World Cup.
Excellent grounds excellent staff
Service and attention to detail
11/8/25: We wanted a staycation and made our reservation at this property, based on our memorable stay in May. I spoke with Noah over the phone, and he arranged our stay at a Villa. When we checked in, we were greeted warmly by the valet staff. The gentleman at the front desk made us feel like valued guests. He explained where the villas were, and provided the option of calling golf carts from our room to assist us when we needed to leave the property. I met Noah after we checked in, and he was very personable and professional. He made our stay very pleasant and memorable. There was a wine tasting in the lobby, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We also appreciated the apple cider station near the main entryway, which was a nice touch. Nahim was one of the golf cart drivers, and he was very friendly and courteous. We actually rode with him on several occasions during our stay, and when we checked out. He went above and beyond in getting us around and helping with our luggage when we checked out. This was a great property and we look forward to staying here again! The customer service at the Ritz is second to none!
The friendliness of the staff.
I can't think of anything we were not pleased with.
Terrible experience. Service was bad and I felt insulted. Not something I expected to see for a hotel of this standard..
Everything! I’d live there if I could
The stay was for a business conference. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The staff was attentive and accommodating. Rooms and halls were clean and constantly being refreshed. This is exactly what you expect from an establishment such as the Ritz.
Everything was perfect. Excellent high-end stay. Great Gym, fun at the pool & high-end dining. Extremely helpful staff, very attentive. Beautiful views all around.
When ordering food at the pool or the other restaurant outside of Knife, in other words "Confort food" during the stay, the serving should be more robust. I mean if you're going to charge 30 dollars for a cheeseburger with fries, the cheeseburger shouldn't be the size of a white castle burger, and the serving of fries shouldn't be the size of a kiddie fries order. Outside of this small detail, everything else was perfection.
The cleanliness was very good, the facilities were fine. I think what I appreciated the most was the view of the golf course, and the gym is excellent! However, there are no casual options for breakfast or dinner — everything is extremely expensive and not worth it when it comes to the food. For a Ritz, honestly, the restaurants are just average, nothing spectacular. If you're looking to relax without leaving the hotel, it's a good option, but if not, I would 100% recommend staying somewhere else
beautiful hotel
First room full Of perfume. Second room toilet full of poop. Was told if it doesn’t flush down call back. Was told I have to figure out how to order room service via TV and that I was welcome to come downstairs to get a newspaper when asked if any available. Also, price raised $159 day before or lose my original payment. About $1000/night for horrific service. Bonus points is the response. A full refund is in order. I miss the old Four Seasons.
Staff was amazing. Concierge staff was 5 and was instrumental when my phone broke in facilitating the shipment my new phone and keeping it charged on a bed when it couldn’t be charged from the port. Will def stay here again when in Dallas
Great staff. Family friendly. Pet friendly.
Had stayed for four nights. Amenities wise a great property having an elaborate facility for gym, yoga, swimming, games. Had food at all of their restaurants and had found decent level of hygiene although the tastes were nothing worth mentioning- neither bad nor too great to be written about. Room was clean. Bathroom very clean. Housekeeping doesn’t happens until late afternoon. Balcony is too small to be of any use. Shower area is too cramped to have bath properly. Toilet and commode is too cramped for tall individuals. Bath tub also was not a full length tub. Bathroom amenities provided are negligible. In my room, other than moisturiser and shampoo, conditioner, nothing else was provided. And they still had a prominent display kept on charges levied if any of those amenities are carried along. Was wondering if a guest who can afford to stay at ritz would ever need to carry along such basic amenities! Nevertheless! Had a shoulder injury I was recovering from hence had asked if a yoga mat could be provided to my room so it provides me flexibility to do yoga in my own room instead of walking down to their yoga room. I was instantly denied providing any yoga mat to my room. Not sure still, whether I had asked for something so tough to provide by a brand like ritz. Room not being ready during checkin despite meeting checkin timelines was another minor problem. Overall, an elaborate property but I would like to avoid during future trips.
While it was a short stay, seeing the increidible renovation was awesome - it was more of a transformation from the old tired property. The guest rooms were warm and welcoming and the beds super comfortable, absolutely spotless hotel with great service. Knife Italian restaurant was also fabulous, with a great combination of steak and italian. The homemade bolegnese was an awesome dish and lots of varied options on the menu. I hope to return to this wonderful property soon!
Our stay at the Ritz Carlton las colinas was ok. I was meaning to book the downtown property but guess I misread the listing and neither Expedia nor RC would let me change it. So we were a bit further out than we hoped but it was not a bad commute so we were relieved.Every person from the hotel staff were extremely attentive to our minimal needs. Great friendly attitudes that are happy to help any way they can. I don’t play Golf but the huge swimming pool was fantastic with very little ppl traffic making it easy to relax. My only complaint is the cost of the restaurants in the quality of the food. I’m honestly pretty easy to please for the price of their food. You think it would be top gourmet quality, but it was far from it. It was cold actually. They have a breakfast buffet beware and make sure you know what you’re getting into before you order it. When I got the receipt, I had absolute sticker shot. I got a fall into the IHOP. And back it had been food. I mean, hotels are expensive, but they seem even worse than average. Other than that we had a great time.
We are very happy with our stay, and the spa was amazing! We will definitely be staying here in the future.
Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas nails relaxed luxury. Gorgeous property with a simple, elegant vibe, classy without feeling uptight. The star? The massive pool, a dream escape from the August heat. Service and setting strike the perfect balance of beauty and comfort.
The Ritz Las Colinas has become my favorite hotel to stay in when visiting DFW. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the customer service is beyond amazing! I met my best friend at The Ritz earlier this week and we stayed in a pool side villa. Jason C. in reservations was AMAZING!! and made sure our stay was phenomenal from start to finish! Thank you Jason for everything you did to make our stay such a memorable experience 🩷The Club Lounge is the best I've ever seen. Beautifully displayed delicious light food, snacks and drinks are available all day and until 10pm. The hosts in the Club Lounge are also very polite and helpful. The pool side villas are amazing! I could have stayed on the patio with the sun lounge bed for days as it was so comfy and so very peaceful. The pool attendants took great care of us and we always had drinks in our hand as well as delicious food from the pool side restaurant. I seriously could live there. Disregard the bad reviews. They’re probably from competing hotels. I’ve never had a bad experience here and every time I stay they treat me and my family like royalty. I love this hotel 🥰
I had not visited this resort since its rebranding from a Four Seasons to a Ritz Carlton. I was not disappointed. The places where they remodeled were tasteful and well done. They did not alter the best part of this property, the pool, which I was happy to see! My room was not ready upon arriving at 2PM, however the hotel was close to sold out the previous night so I understood. My Titanium status was recognized and I was upgraded to a room with a pool/golf view (which is the better view). The grounds are wonderful and what they did to upgrade the restaurants & cafe on site were well needed and done well. The only drawback was the pool service seemed to be a bit worse than when it was a Four Seasons. Not that they weren’t trying, I think they were just a bit short staffed. Overall I loved my stay and will return.
The cleanliness and security!! The views immaculate!
One young lady (staff that walks the rooms to ensure guest don’t need anything) who asked us if we were checking out gave me the weirdest look when I told her my room was just extended another day. The side eye she thought I didn’t see was the only aggravating ordeal. Everyone else fantastic in every way from arrival to departure.
Amazing welcome and introduction to the Ritz-Carlton experience!!! Michael was exceptional helpful with any questions we had and helped us when selecting the wrong type of room. For my birthday he ensured we got the correct room with the perfect view! An amazing 2 day stay !!
Absolutely will be back!!
Restful
The last time I stayed at the property it was a Four Seasons. They did nice job renovating and rebranding. The staff was exceptionally hospitable. My golf bag didn’t make my flight and had to be delivered. Knowing that I had a tee time, Noe and the rest of the valet staff went out of their way to look out for the delivery and to let me know as soon as it arrived. The rest of the staff was equally professional. The only minor issue I had was the cleaning staff forgot to refill my coffee one of the nights.
We have been coming here since it was the 4 seasons. What happened to couple time at the pool? There is a family pool that is at big as the adult pool yet all the kids are at our pool? Big mistake. We always come here for a couples trip. Alex at the pool was a bright spot trying to elevate our experience.
The property is insufficiently updated.
We stay there and I was disappointed in the room we were in bc we had limited space due to an extra table they had the refrigerator on. I made a complaint and didn’t receive any incentive for our inconvenience! They blamed it on housekeeping. It’s not worth the price. I’ve stayed at an Aloft for 120 dollars and it was nicer. I don’t recommend this hotel. The restaurant inside the hotel is amazing great customer service and food!!
We spent a weekend at the Ritz Carlton Las Colinas property which marked our 10th stay at a Ritz Carlton property around the world to celebrate a milestone birthday. We came to be pampered and left very disappointed - we’d really like to have our time and money back! We paid extra for Club Lounge access ($100 per person per day) to simplify our stay and have the majority of our meals/snacks/drinks there. (Club is located on the 2nd floor – the 9th floor is the top floor). When we entered the Lounge the first day, it was grossly understaffed. There was no one at the front desk to greet us and we noticed there was only one attendant working. Most Club Lounges we’ve frequented have 3-4 people at all times (One person to attend the front desk; one person to replenish food; one person to provide drinks and another to clear the tables.) A Club Lounge is NOT a one-person operation, especially a Ritz Carlton Club Lounge. There were times during our stay when there were two attendants, but again, it is grossly understaffed. With that, we walked on eggshells the entire time, feeling bad asking for anything, even a glass of ice as one person was doing the work of what four people should do! We were never asked “Can I bring you anything?” or “How are you today?” or “Can I assist you with anything today?”. This made for a tense experience and unpleasant atmosphere which greatly impacted our stay. This was not the typical Ritz Carlton vibe and treatment that we are used to. We felt invisible. During our stay, we found the Club Lounge Manager, Kim, to be curt, rigid and fake-nice at best. She was overwhelmed and deprioritized guests’ individual requests. She was quick to tell us what she could NOT do which is the opposite of the Ritz Carlton “CAN DO” motto. For example, my husband asked her for a second glass of champagne when his first glass had a sip or two remaining and she refused to refill until the entire glass was empty. Then she took at least 15-20 minutes to bring another. And on the night of our celebration, my husband asked for a double cocktail to sip on the for night and she told him, no, that only a single could be provided. This might be expected at an airport lounge, but not up to Ritz Carlton standards. After another long wait, the single was delivered to the wrong guest as she was the lone attendant for the evening doing the work for four people! We observed during our stay that she seemed not to care for the presence of children either. During another meal in the Club Lounge, we uncomfortably overheard her loudly and aggressively scolding a subordinate for a slight imperfection of food placement and presentation – this was uncomfortable to watch and hear….within earshot of guests, not in private! We’ve never experienced this type of treatment at a Ritz property ever before, which really put a damper on our stay overall. We’ve had better Club Lounge experiences at JW Marriott properties. We won’t return to this property and will not recommend to friends and family. Other annoyances: The rooms have plantation shutters (no curtains) and bright sunlight hits the room very early. Bring an eyemask! Also, the pool complex is over-run on weekends with an influx of ResortPass one-day guests. It was overcrowded and unclean by mid-afternoon! Ice Machines located only on Floors 2, 4, 6 and 8.
It did not feel like a a Ritz Property. We were in area that was part of a private club. It was not the normal Ritz Carlton way!
We have been visiting this property for years, but this time just felt different. The attention to detail from the check in to checkout was pristine. We also, enjoyed the service in the club with Kim, Susan and Stephen. We also appreciated the attention to detail and interactions with Beverly at check in. We will be back!
Phenomenal place and staff with excellent accommodations for the weekend. Special thanks and awesome job to Murad at the front desk. All of our guests and entire family were so impressed with you. WE all had a great weekend and appreciate / recommend this for a stay-cation
I had an amazing overnight stay. All of the staff were happy to be at work and super courteous. My room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The bathroom was amazing and spacious. Customer service is top tier!
One of best hospitality i ever had
Beautiful property, amazing service and excellent hospitality.
This is a beautiful property with a beautiful outdoor space and pool. Delicious food and great service.
5/10/25: We stayed for Mother's Day weekend. Prior to our visit, I spoke with Nadya to ask questions about dinner and the Mothers' Day Brunch. She was very nice. Kris, at the front desk, was friendly and professional during the check in process. He was able to provide an upgrade since I'm a Diamond member. The suite he selected was very nice. Andrea, from housekeeping, was very nice in providing additional coffee condiments and water. Maria delivered the items, and she was very pleasant. We met Chef Austin Fullerton, and he was very pleasant, as he led us out the gate towards a sports bar. The property was very nice, the valets were helpful in providing parking information, and the staff overall were very pleasant and responsive. Our shower had great water pressure. The only downside was that the toilet in our room was very low, definitely not chair height. We would definitely stay at this property again.
My twin boys, who just graduated from Texas Tech, and I celebrated graduation and Mother’s Day this weekend at the Ritz Carlton in Las Colinas. It was an absolutely fabulous and amazing weekend!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful hotel!! From start to finish our stay was amazing. The customer service is awesome and the hotel is absolutely gorgeous with all of the new renovations. Clayton at reception was so kind, patient and helpful when I couldn’t find the exact room I was looking for online. The suite he found for me and my boys was perfect and it was so beautiful! Shortly after my boys and I arrived, a very sweet & kind lady named Judith knocked on our door and brought my boys a cake to congratulate them on their graduation!! I upgraded us to the Club Lounge and it was worth every penny!! The food, snacks, desserts, cocktails, and wine selections were top notch!!! Every single thing was fabulous!! And the people that work in the Club lounge are so very nice and helpful. They had a Mother’s Day brunch in the club lounge and had a an omelette station, mimosas and so many delicious foods to choose from! My boys’s favorite was the espresso, latte machine where they could make whatever delicious coffee drink they wanted and the 8-10pm nightly dessert showcase!! I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. My boys and I had an amazing weekend and will definitely be back next time we are in the DFW area.
My family and I really do enjoy the pool at the Ritz Carlton.
A 10 stars hotel for business and stay!!! Service, everyplace clean, comfort rooms and beautiful views and good restautants near by!! The quality of beds, pillows and everything inside the Villas was amazing and good to rest after a long day!! Nice golf course!!
It is a very Beautiful hotel, You would expect a Rita Carlton tradition, but there are things that decrease the quality of your stay, For example, the Italian Restaurant Shake & Knife, it is not that good and pretentious. Tha amenities in the rooms are very por, just the essentiels, the quality of toilet paper is so cheap. On the other side, the pool área is super nice, agréable, fantastic! And the service for lunch in the pool área is magnificent!, Mackenzie, the wait res is so nice, efficent, and I had the best greensalad with shrimps, just with olive oil and grilled lemon, made by Chef David Olmos, he desertes a spécial mention. Also the concierge, cannot remember her ñame, a lady from Turkey, was wonderful.
Na
This is a nice property with refreshed interiors and plenty of outdoor space. The rooms do not have black out window treatments. The plantation shutters let in far too much light for my preference. Also the noise from outside filtered up to the 6th floor. There were multiple business groups in the hotel and their events could be heard in my room when I was trying to sleep. There was rowdy behavior on my floor in the middle of the night which was intolerable but not the hotel’s fault. I was not impressed with the food and beverage. Hotel food is rarely exceptional but this felt below standard especially for the Ritz Carlton brand. The property only offers Pepsi products and selections in the honor bar and at the restaurant are extremely limited for non alcoholic beverages. Room service was particularly awful with high fees, poor selection, and inadequate service. The spa is large and although I did not take advantage of it, it looks quite nice. I think if you come to enjoy the golf, spa and pool it’s probably great. Just wasn’t for me as a business traveler.
A stellar property! We were celebrating 2 birthdays and everyone went above and beyond to make it special for my sister. This was her first experience in the RC Club Lounge and Steven, Susan, Anna, and Sharon went out of their way making us feel welcome and valued. Marriott can be proud of their employees at this property. Special shout out to Jason and Banu for going the extra mile.
10/10 Experience, I mean the building is wonderful and the valet team even better! Thank you to Michael Dixon, Andrew, Alex and Nikhi for making the entire experience perfect from pick up to dropoff aswell as thank you to Louis at the concierge I will definitely be staying again!!
Everything was absolutely amazing! Would definitely recommend!
Beautiful
The bathroom vents were making loud noises, resembling an animal stuck inside. An engineer was called at 1 AM, but unfortunately, he locked the bathroom door with our belongings inside while working on it. Upon further inspection, we noticed that the other vents in the room were extremely dirty (see attached pictures). We requested an upgrade, but the new room despite being labeled a "villa” was nearly identical, just in a different building. This room also had a plumbing issue, producing an intermittent, loud whale-like sound. : The gym itself was great but seemed oversold. As a hotel guest, I was surprised to find that I couldn’t use the locker room, which is a first for me. Instead, there was only a small bathroom stall for changing, with no bench or space to place belongings. Several hotel staff members entered our room unannounced an hour before our checkout time, which was unsettling. That said, I appreciated that they accommodated a late checkout, extending it from 11 AM to noon. When I checked out, I requested for our four bags to be taken to the concierge area. However, this was not done, and we nearly missed our Uber to the airport. I have concerns regarding the hotel's maintenance, the hotels filthy filters, the lack of proper changing room facilities, and the communication surrounding luggage handling. These areas need improvement to enhance the guest experience.
Large resort on the golf course, with rooms in the large main building and also in smaller villas next to the golf course. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere, spacious and comfortable place. My room in the « villas » had a nice peaceful view and a private terrace to relax.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at The Ritz Carlton Las Colinas! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Jason at the front desk was an absolute gem—so kind, thoughtful, and genuinely attentive to our needs. When they learned about my fiancé’s dog passing recently, they left a touching gift in our room as a condolence, which meant the world to us. The entire team was incredibly courteous, and the level of service was impeccable. The property itself is stunning, but it’s the people who truly make this place special. We’ll be back without hesitation—5 stars all the way!
It was amazing stay!!
Awesome staff beautiful place. Great food
We had a villa on the golf course and it was beautiful!
The nicest Ritz I’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful pool area, beautiful villas, beautiful dining room and outside fireplace sitting area was perfect. The staff is over the moon. So accommodating and friendly. Whatever we needed they made it happen and we seemed to have been very needy this trip traveling with an3 month old… We will definitely be back to Dallas and when we do we will definitely stay here again!
Very clean and good customer service
Not worth the price
My husband and I went to Ritz-Carlton for an end of the year get away and to celebrate New Year’s Eve. When we got to the front desk to check in, we were welcomed with a great smile by one of the front desk staff who we found out later to be the Assistant Front Desk Manager. His name is Murad. Murad gave us a fantastic room. Very nice and comfortable. He made our check in experience a fantastic one. The first POSITIVE impression that he made on my husband and I helped to set the tone for our stay. After check in, we were ready at that point, to come back to the hotel the next time that we were in the Dallas area. That’s how good an impression, Murad made on us. Janelle, the Night Front Desk Manager made sure we had a great New Year’s Eve Celebration. She helped to make it VERY SPECIAL! Noah is anther front desk staff, that was always helpful with a smile, the other times that we needed assistance. Overall, the Ritz-Carlton Las Colinas, Front Desk Management Staff, offer superior customer service, to other resorts that we have stayed. They are very respectful, accommodating and always willing to help.
Breakfast was good and liked the option of the coffee kiosk.
Outstanding service, beautiful infrastructure.
A stunning property nestled in Las Colinas, made even more exceptional by its outstanding staff. Murad at check-in, Thomas at the Juniper Bar, and Colby and Marianna at Knife restaurant all went above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable experience. The dining options were superb—Knife delivered exceptional cuisine, Outlaw Taproom offered fantastic bar fare, and Juniper served up exquisite cocktails. We were upgraded to a Villa Suite, making this the best stay of my year, even after 90 nights at Bonvoy properties. Truly an unparalleled experience! We are already planning our next stay while in the DFW metro!
Clean, well maintained, exceptional service and staff.
The Las Colinas area is gorgeous. The Ritz property on the golf course blends in and looks great. We had a great visit and throughly enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We had great food, drinks, and experience at Knife Italian. There was a bit of a wait for room service at times, but the food was delicious. 10/10 over all.
This place is awesomely huge and beautiful. The service is beyond. The staff is friendly and professional. There's a guy by the name of Murad Muazzam, he's the best. He's service and care is out of this world. I even extend my stay because of him.
I expected the stay to be good, but R-C, Los Colinas exceeded that expectation. Clayton is the best in the business.
Ok
I was at this hotel 4 nights. The rooms are simple ( vs other Ritz Carlton in the world) but nice. The gym that belongs to the Nelson Gold Club is really nice The food is clearly not Ritz Carlton grade. Nor the food nor the service. I have tried each of the 3 food venues. The Italian (breakfast) ....eggs had no taste, and the yogurt+ fruit had no taste either. Probably average industrial base products. For lunch, I think the waiter did not really know what the menu was about. Salmon served with no limon, bread was grilled, cold and hard . The diner at the cigar bar...Food was Ok ( Pasta) but waitresses did not really know their job. Probably no training. Is short, the overall experience wasa long shot from ant other Ritz Carlton I have been to
I am currently staying here and this hotel has far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt an amazing atmosphere of luxury and hospitality. Nancy in security was especially great! She gave me a ride to the nearby grocery store and even offered to wait while I shopped to give me a ride back. She is an excellent ambassador for the Ritz Carlton brand. My room was clean, comfortable and just what I expected from the Ritz Carlton brand. The pool was also just what I needed on a hot Texas day. I enjoyed my time here and I will certainly return the next time I am in Dallas!
I needed a solo wellness, weekend getaway and used our corporate rate to book a stay here knowing the quality of The Ritz Carlton brand. I hadn't been since it was The Four Seasons. The hotel is quite lovely and has beautiful amenities. The door persons, bellhops and front desk associates were very welcoming and professional. Due to my Gold Elite Status with Bonvoy I received a complimentary upgrade to a corner tower king room with a furnished balcony. I was so blessed to receive this room and loved the view overlooking the pool and outdoor back patios with a slight view of the golf/fitness area. ROOM: The room was so spacious with a separate lounging area, large bathroom, and furnished balcony where I had my coffee/breakfast each morning and sat each night before bed. Unlike some of the other reviews, my room did have blackout curtains (I wouldn't have slept otherwise) and I was able to sleep in both days. The big CON to this room was that I went for a restful, relaxing getaway and the AC wasn't working properly. It was cool when I arrived and would shut off during the night so it kept me up on an off all night long due to it getting hot then cool (never cold) in my room all night long. I called for them to review it the next day and they did and said 'it is fixed'. A sweet front desk person (Jasmine) even came up to my room to show me how to turn the fan on high so it would stay on. The 2nd night was much of the same. The AC is so inconsistent in delivering airflow that I woke up sweating on and off again the 2nd night. DINING: This is the biggest miss for me. Knife Italian was reserved out the first night so I couldn't try it so you either had to do room service or Outlaw, their casual dining. I opted for Outlaw. While there was room for me, there isn't much seating and their menu is very limited but my Las Colinas Salad with brisket was delicious. Service the first night was great. Tried to get a drink and dessert there on Saturday night (not busy that night) and it took 20 mins for a server to approach me. I did try Knife the second night and found that the ambiance was nice but the food for the price is mediocre at best. I am gluten free and I found the food offerings in general for room service, Knife, and Pool bar are very limited. Knife was very hard to find gluten free items and our waiter said that their pastas were technically gluten free b/c they use a 0% flour which I didn't understand. He wasn't very engaging or helpful in my dietary restriction. I did has a poke bowl by the pool the next day and it was fantastic. IN my opinion much better that Knife Italian. Finally, my breakfast on morning one was avocado toast on gluten free bread. I asked for the bread to be really toasted first b/c often times it isn't and it gets soggy. While the avocado mixture was great they delivered it on soggy gluten free bread. The next morning, they offered it to me again and I declined and asked for a the gluten free Belgian Waffle and was told they were out of the waffle the day before and again this day. There were no other options except eggs or an omelette so I opted for a fruit parfait. n fairness, the did comp both of my breakfast meals, which was the right thing to do. Just wish it had been cooked properly and more GF items were made available. SPA: I used the spa for two days in a row. Once for a massage and once for a facial. This is their SHINING star as this staff is fantastic. Very well staffed, professional, and attentive. The facilities are relaxing and plentiful. My two service providers did a fantastic job on my services. However, the standout to me were Delmira and her colleague (Can't recall her name as Delmira helped me most). These two ladies work so hard at enhancing your experience to relax and were there every step to offer their services and assistance. Please note as I asked: The gratuity you give for your service doesn't flow down to them so I tipped them separately and it was well worth it. GOLF: While I didn't golf, there were many people there golfing and I've played the course before and it's beautiful. GYM: I never made it to the gym but they offer an array of classes that are complimentary with your stay. POOL: The pool wasn't crowded and was so nice with plenty of spots to lounge in or out of the sun. ENTERTAINMENT: Friday night there was a lounge singer in the main lobby who had a beautiful voice. There was another singer on the patio of Outlaw but it was hard to enjoy him as the club members had a Halloween Party down the way and their DJ music was competing with the singer at Outlaw. It seemed like a fun party and the music was great. Lots of fun costumes and it was neat to see them all dressed up. Just perhaps wouldn't have had a singer on the patio the same night as a DJ outside too within earshot. Aside from the AC issue, which is huge when you aren't getting restful sleep and the lack of gluten free food options, I would stay here again.
The transformation of this property from the Four Seasons into the Ritz is remarkable. I cannot imagine a better spot for a family to tuck in for a weekend or for a business group to hold a conference. The Golf course is pristine, the fitness center (including indoor and outdoor pool) has everything you need, and the spa is world-class. Lots of places to walk around and the pickleball courts are a great add. I'm also fond of the location - close enough to DFW/DAL that it's a breeze to get to, but far enough away that once you're beyond the gates, you'd have no idea you were in a major metro area A few items to add: we started each morning at "Campo" for coffee and fresh pastries - wonderful way to start the day. Knife italian has phenomenal steaks - don't miss 'em. And finally, the poolside food is great. I had a burger, my wife a poke bowl, and some delicious poolside cocktails - perfect! The staff was fantastic and was there to help us at every turn. We have an infant, so we were a bit nervous about the trip, but everyone was so kind and the staff went out of the way to make her feel welcome too (she loves her new Ritz lion) We will definitely be back!
Lovely place with an amazing service . All employees provided great service. The Italian restaurant was simply delicious. I stayed in a villa overlooking the golf course it was relaxing and quiet. All was just wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel itself missed the mark on the Ritz Carlton gold standard. The highlight of my visit was Dante at the pool. His service was genuine polite and quick. He answered all my questions and made great recommendations. The tuna poke bowl was superb! Cocktails were perfectly made. Definitely visit Dante to get the 5 star service. Thank you to Tabitha for checking on us constantly to make sure we were enjoying our stay.
They need to install blackout curtains on the windows.
It was great! Can’t wait to be back
Great experience
This is one of the most beautiful properties in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with a beautiful pool and wonderful restaurants and bars. Staff is top notch.
Late night menu was mentioned being 24/7. Menu was wrong. Times are wrong. Phone didn’t work. Called from cellphone and no one answered. Had to walk downstairs just to be told there were “cold cuts” available. Staff was great and handled it well. But super disappointing food.
The staff was accommodating and friendly. I love the bedtime service I received. The service overall was excellent. I did not like paying for self-parking.
Stayed here for two days before heading to Spain and Budapest. Out of other 5 star hotels this was the best luxury hotel.
Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable as usual, the staff were attentive and helpful. The 2 things that were an issue were the loudness of the music at the pool and the replacement of a door and frame on the 5th floor two doors down from us that took 2 days to complete. The banging and drilling was very loud and relentless and we had no prior warning about it. With regards to the music played at the pool, I was talking on the phone before it started up for the day and actually had to finish the call as the person on the other end could not hear me. As this was durning the week and there were only 3 people at the pool it would have been much more pleasant if the music had been softer.
Pool was not open this time of year
great for family. the only negative was tuve construction around the pool but certainly will be even better when finished. loved it . amazing workout facility and spa
The staff made this one of the most memorable stays I’ve ever had away from home. The turn down service, the room service, opening doors for guests, just their willingness to please you and make you feel like royalty. I am so grateful for their service.
