Great location, friendly staff, and this may sound crazy, but the whole place smells great.

Proper gym facilities, but there are plenty of gyms in the area so not a deal breaker at all for me.

Beautiful and stylish hotel, at a good location. Stuff were helpful and kind.

My one-week stay at Palihouse West Hollywood was a wonderful experience! The hotel is in a great location, with a nice restaurant next door and several other restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated - charming and cozy. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome. I highly recommend Palihouse West Hollywood and would definitely stay here again!

This is such a nice and creative interior boutique hotel. It’s very quant and a throwback to the 70’s. The staff was very nice! I’ll stay here again!

There is an odor in the halls, think of walking into grandma’s house. But again that kind of makes it familiar. It would be nice if they’d provide some complimentary bottles of water for the evening. And in the morning, early, complementary coffee. Sometimes it’s the little things that make a huge differences.

I love the style, the rooms are super comfy and the toiletries are good so I don’t have to bring mine :)

The room was very dimly lit, with lots of unused space. There were also no bedside tables or bathroom storage, which was inconvenient

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights at the Palihouse as part of a SoCal vacation. The hotel room was spacious and clean, although there was an odd damp spot just outside the bathroom once we arrived. Regardless, every hotel employee was polite, helpful, and offered practical advice such as what time to leave the hotel the morning we left in order to make sure we got to the airport on time. The valet service was quick and reliable. The hotel is located nearby dozens of restaurants and bars, and not too far from The Grove and farmer's market. I know it's not common to talk in L.A., but there are plenty of of places to visit by foot if the weather is cooperative. I would highly recommend Palihouse if you're staying in L.A.

We were visiting LA for a family wedding and enjoyed our stay there. The quirky room numbers were great addition. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a function in the bar/restuarant and the food and service was very well done.

Absolutely stunning! Palihouse is such a beautiful, unique, and charming property with so much character. Our room was gorgeous and incredibly comfortable, and every detail made the stay feel special. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing, and the staff were so warm, friendly, and accommodating. It truly felt like a little home away from home, but with all the luxury and beauty of a boutique hotel. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

I’m surprised this adorable boutique hotel was just as affordable as some of the boring, basic, chain hotels nearby. Definitely worth it. The staff were also friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Absolutely obsessed with this hotel. In a great location of West Hollywood. Immaculately designed rooms and had everything you need. Within walking distance of a mall, great coffee shops, ice cream, and restaurants. Highly recommend.

The room size was pretty decent, with a couch section and a nice view directly to the Hollywood sign. But for that rate, I expected that.

We had a room where outside it seemed to be the central AC unit for the hallway. It shook the whole room the whole night, as if there was a subwoofer right in our bedroom. The windows shook, the images shook.. I was not getting any rest. When we wanted to extend our stay for one night because we wanted to spend some more time in LA and didn't want to pack up all our stuff, they offered us only double the rate that we originally had. So we moved to a different hotel.

I have to say I was a bit septical about booking this hotel, thinking it was gonna be a noisy area, but it is one of the cutest safest, comfortable boutique hotels I’ve ever been to. I will always make this my go to. The staff is so attentive and caring you don’t find that at any hotels nowadays. Thank you Palihouse !!!!

I have stayed in this hotel for nearly a month across two visits this year. It’s a pretty good hotel for long stays, but not perfect. I appreciate the elements of this review are irrelevant to travellers staying for a short amount of time. Pros - It has a microwave in the rooms, plates and cutlery, and a good sized fridge, and they allow you to remove mini bar items to store your own stuff. This is great if you’re staying for work and don’t want to have to eat out every meal. Cons - The TV is in a very strange place, and you can’t sit in bed and watch it. - There’s no bed side cabinets. So there’s nowhere to put a coffee or a glass of water next to the bed. - Plug sockets are not in useful places (eg near the bed or mirror), and no USB sockets. Most modern hotels tend to have these. - The bar closes at 9pm, and food choices in the evenings are limited. Plenty of options nearby though.

We stayed as a family of four in July. Within minutes of arriving, I found a cockroach crawling on my bag. We asked to be moved, and the response was dismissive: we were told an inspection had been done recently at the property. The only room available was a deluxe king rather than the suite we had booked, so we spent the rest of the trip in a smaller space with two young children. The larger footprint was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The housekeeping that followed set the same tone. We asked in person at the front desk, then again by text. The room went unserviced Saturday and Sunday. Every request was acknowledged and apologized for, and it took me pointing out the second consecutive miss on Sunday evening before anyone actually came. Things happen. It's the absence of ownership, and the continued lack of follow-through, that was the real issue.

Everything from Valet parking to check out is just an amzing experience. And if you find Benjamin inbthe bar send my best regards what a wonderful person.

This hotel was so beautiful, very unique design with large rooms and the service was above and beyond. David and Andrii were very helpful from the start to the end of my stay and checked in multiple times to make sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. Also the location was great with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants walking distance.

Housekeeping experience wasn’t good at all

Couldn’t recommend more highly. Room was huge, front desk provided so many recommendations (they were absolutely lovely!!) and there was an incredibly cosy lounge space where I worked for a couple of days. Very botique but felt luxurious!

Gym is tiny - was so fine to do a workout when it was 1-2 people but if gym is important to you, then probably wrong spot!

Service and amenities are below mid. The room wasn’t clean after we came back from a whole day out, towels are all old and had holes in them, we had to ask for 3 different irons to get one thats working properly. We found a women’s top in our room that didn’t belong to any of us which the reception said “oh” to. It takes ages to get through reception or get anything delivered to the room, we asked for 4 towels they brought 2, dirty spoons have been sitting in the room for days. The TV never worked, they said “oh it happens” - zero apology or any effort to make things better. All of this add up to the experience not being great.

Decor and cleanliness were well done and maintained throughout the facilities. Almost immaculate both in-room and shared areas (pool, lounge, etc.).

In a two-queen room, we were provided enough towels and wash cloths to accommodate two people; however, we had three staying in our room. Cleaning staff, who did clean the room nicely each day, had to be repeatedly asked for enough towels to accommodate three. They never got it right. Always leaving only enough for two. The fridge is overly stocked with "chargable" items, leaving no room for your own personal items.

Cool vibe, but music plays no in every public space. After a while you want a break.

There was no storage space or dresser for clothes. And they failed to clean our room on day 1. For the price charged due to the World Cup, it was not worth the money.

Honestly was a super overpriced hotel and we were very disappointed. Put in the booking notes for a nice room in the tier we paid for and was given probably the most budget of the hotel. No complimentary water and felt like a hassle to ask staff to fill bottles. Staff offered no help or enthusiasm to help whether it was to organise transport or interest in helping us find things to do. I wanted to love this place but there is far better for the price we were charged

Beautifully, Artfully decorated. Details through through for visitors in search of a semi apartment yet boutique setting. The bed was also very comfortable! Love the convenience of the location and that everything was included in my room microwave, cutlery, small fridge.

The gym was small and dark, but understandable given the location.

We reserved a large block of rooms for my daughter’s wedding. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that all our guests were treated well. This is such a lovely hotel with a variety of comfortable spaces to hang out. Meghan at the front desk was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We loved the location as there were many excellent dining options in close proximity. Highly recommend!

A great area, near to the Beverly Centre, The Grove and Farmers Market. The hotel decor was stunning and the rooms are really comfortable, with everything you need, including Diptyque shower gels and creams. Excellent all round

They didn’t clean our room while we signed that we were ok with cleaning it, and when we asked for at least new towels, they forgot to put them in our room. The receptionist also told us that we should have informed them that we had left the room so the cleaning team could pass through it… First time they tell me this TBW in a hotel

Stayed here for a solo trip to LA and chose Palihouse bc of how beautiful it looked and bc the area is safe and walkable. I had some logistical issues with my booking and Meghan was incredible, she provided excellent service and helped me in a bind. I will definitely be staying again next time I’m in LA!! My room was very spacious and had a beautiful large bathroom. Very safe and quiet area and hotel. Awesome gelato place across the street. Very close to great shopping at Beverly Center and on a great street with lots of amazing food options.

Could not sort out daily cleaning service, I had to ask multiple times and on two days cleaning never happened.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had such a great experience at Palihouse West Hollywood that I felt it was worth sharing. Phrancisco, David, and the rest of the team were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really made the stay special. The room itself was fantastic — the bed was super comfortable and the shower was excellent. And I especially loved the bathroom amenities from Diptyque. Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely go back and highly recommend staying here.

Check in and check out was a breeze. The two gentlemen at the reception were very welcoming upon arrival. I love the ambience of the property and the room was perfect. Breakfast at the cafe was perfect too! Housekeeping was very friendly and always initiated conversation. Meghan was gracious to hold my luggage at check out since my flight wasn’t till late in the evening. She also had great dining suggestions for lunch. I’m definitely coming back.

This is a superb boutique hotel, the staff are extremely helpful, I wanted a room at the back of the hotel as i sleep light, and there was no issue. I had a great sized room, super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious shame they didnt do evening meals!

Location for Palihouse WeHo is AMAZING! Within walking distance of amazing restaurants and shopping. I couldn’t have asked for a better location to stay when in town for business. Phrancesco was fabulous at the front desk and took care of my needs leaving my luggage after checkout and letting me pick up door dash at the lobby for a hotel night in dinner.

phrancisco was amazing. Really great and giving options on if I wanted to visit the beach or go on a hike. He recommended the beach and I couldn’t be more please. Very high level individual and knows his way through the hotel and beyond!

Design, location, comfortable beds

I asked for additional blanket twice and never got it.

Poolside relaxation was awesome. Fruit bowls and refreshing tea and water to drink on complementary availability were much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious. And the rooms weee extremely comfortable. Service exemplary

While the hotel looks nice, the staff is completely disfunctional. For example, in the first two full days of our stay (out of three), our room was not cleaned and the towels were not replaced. We complained about it at the reception more than once and were promised that they would fix it, but to no avail. It seems that there is no overall management that ensures that guests wishes/complaints will be taken care by the staff which is supposed to deliver. After the two incidents we asked to talk to the hotel manager, but (s)he was not available… On a different note, though somewhat related, in our 40+ years of traveling around the world we never met a reception filled with such non-welcoming personnel. Any time we approached them the impression was that they were busy with more important stuff and wanted us to go away. Yes, that bad.

Out of 4 nights there was only 1 time room cleaning Hearing / Air condition were totally bad and I caught a really bad cold and suffer a lot. With heather or air conditioning makes bad sounds through the night. Whenever I have complained, they say they please write a letter to make a complaint to the manager or to the hotel, which I don’t want to do that any longer for wasting of my time. Not single even complimentary water but one bottle of water as 13 dollars All the lightings should manually turn off every single lamps.

Cannot rate this hotel enough! Staff are amazing so helpful I was here for two weeks alone and it felt like home. The location is perfect with everything in walking distance. The cleanliness is amazing also.

Well located and competitively priced hotel in West Hollywood. Good-quality toiletries and amenities, large room, unusually big worktable and chairs. Funky, fun decor. My room had shutters but no blackout curtains, and in fact no curtains at all. The result was a lot of ambient light let in at night even with shutters closed, and none of the noise muting that curtains provide. More problematic, the elevator did not require a room key to select a floor, Anyone could walk in off the street and access any of the floors with rooms: women travelers take note. A $35 resort fee cited in-room coffee and concierge service as part of what it was for.

From the moment I walked in, I noticed the pleasant smell of their signature scent in the lobby, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The check-in process was quick and seamless. I can’t remember the name of the gentleman who checked me in, but he was incredibly kind and professional. He took the time to go over all of the hotel amenities and even made some great recommendations for shops and restaurants within walking distance, which I really appreciated. The room itself was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it easy to unwind and get a good night sleep. The hotel is also located in a great area that felt safe and convenient. When it was time to check out, Meghan assisted me and she was wonderful. She made the checkout process just as smooth as the check-in. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Stylish boutique hotel with a New York meets White Lotus feel. Everything was clean and the details with requests from front desk were seamless. A+ experience. We will look in to staying at other Palihouses now that we love the vibe.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Palihouse. It’s in the perfect location, has chic decor, and I give rave reviews on the staff, the cleanliness and the service.

Attention was clearly given to all the little details at this home away from home. I especially appreciated all the quasi private nooks and crannies throughout the property for catching up on work, and my re-assigned room was cute as a button. (I hardly slept my first night as I did not anticipate the noise of the city outside my window, but Meghan was genuinely sympathetic to my case and moved me to a much quieter room facing the interior courtyard and pool the following night.) A million thanks to Tim, Emory, and especially Joey at the restaurant and bar for making my stay such a lovely and memorable experience. I will definitely return in the future!

It's a beautiful and comfortable hotel. We love breakfast in the little cafe. We typically have it every morning of our stay. Staff is friendly and the setting itself is cool to be in. I enjoyed sitting by the pool this time and drinking the cucumber flavored water (and eating the gummy bears)!

We happened to still be in our room when housekeeping came to clean and unfortunately they never came back. Not a big deal! We just called and requested more towels which came immediately.

Conveniently located in West Hollywood and with good dining places nearby, great service, nicely appointed rooms, charming vibe, and delicious, quality food, Palihouse has become one of our most popular places to stay. Meghan, at the front desk, was extremely helpful in making sure we had all the information and directions we needed. Good value for a very nice experience. Looking forward to our next stay.
