Le fait que les appartements ne soient pas situés dans le même immeuble que l'accueil et le petit déjeuner. Il faut marcher 300m, ce qui oblige a sortir et a prevoir du temps en plus

La literie la décoration et l’accueil du personnel. Petit déjeuner copieux. J’ai pu laisser mes bagages à l’accueil avant de reprendre le TGV.

Remettre des mouchoirs capsules de café et tisane lors du ménage. Mendicité au pied de l’hôtel avec des enfants.

La localisation top. Appartement très confortable, bien décoré et calme. Canapé lit très confortable et assez large pour nos deux enfants.

Le Check out a 11h00, 12h00 serait préférable.

The staff was lovely. Breakfast good, with fresh omelettes on request. The room was huge by European standards: comfortable bed and great shower.

That my room 105 was considered harbor view. Apparently that designation means it had a window. I am sure other rooms had great views. Street noise- the square across the streets hosts random music etc until midnight. Cruisers with loud music until at least 22:00- I understand this may be seasonal but the square is what it is.

I wanted a terrace as just planned to enjoy the weather on the terrace in a great location- the terrace was great and just what I wanted - peace and quiet sun, good facilities

Small hotel at Vieux Port. Very nice staff. Room pleasant but I would have preferred better lighting. Coffee machine and kettle but no milk provided for Les anglais. No fridge.

The location is very convenient and the hotel is well kept and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

It was modern, small, exceptionally clean and in a great location. It had a great boutique hotel feel.

Sehr sauberes Hotel in zentraler Lage zum Hafen Vieux Port und den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Bus und Metro). Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor allem das Frühstück ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Trotz Hauptsaison und vielen Menschen fühlt man sich sehr sicher und wohl.

In der Hauptsaison ist vor und um das Hotel sehr viel los - die Fenster sind glücklicherweise ausgezeichnet und alles ist gut isoliert, so hört man trotz Trubels nicht viel. Leider gibt es für ein 4-Stern-Hotel keinen Kühlschrank (Minibar) am Zimmer. Im Foyer/Küche gibt es einen Wasserspender, der gratis genutzt werden kann.

Location was very central though there is a McDonald’s next door. Room was comfortable, good A/C, and not cramped.

While central, the neighborhood was also very touristy.

Perfect location overlooking the port. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Loved having a little apartment with a kitchenette in a very convenient location. Easy walk to the main port area where there is almost always something going on - but far enough to not have noise. A hip and happening city.

bit hot air conditioning is not working in one of the bedrooms we were not made aware of building work so noisy frill could be heard until 8.00pm on sat evening also please be aware these apartments are not located in the hotel on teh port but a couple of streets away which involves a 5 min walk no view a bit dark The kettle would not work

The hotel has a serious ventilation problem. Despite the fact that the toilet has a continuous exhaust fan, a sewage type smell percolated into the room - (DELUXE 404) off and on throughout our stay.

Nous avons séjourné en famille (2 adultes et 2 enfants) dans l'appartements Barnabé, situé au 2ème étage, côté rue Davso. Vraiment très belle surprise! ​L'appartement est très spacieux, avec de nombreux rangements et équipements (lave-vaisselle, lave-linge, four, fer et planche à repasser, etc.) ​L'emplacement est idéal, à deux pas du Vieux-Port. Nois avons pu apprécier l'insonorisation de la chambre les fenêtres fermées un soir de 14 juillet : très satisfaisante. Nous n'avions pas pris le petit déjeuner. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

The location was great on the main shopping street and the style of the furnishings were very tasteful. Very comfortable bed and sofa bed.

The apartment is a short walk from the main hotel check in but the staff helped carry out luggage which was very helpful.

The staff were very professional and excellent. It was a great location for our quick trip to Marselle. The breakfast was delicious and the staff in the restaurant very helpful and kind.

I did not appreciate the 100 signs about the resuable water bottle and the 9 Euro cost should it be taken. When you pay 300+ Euro for a room, one small reuable water bottle should be free, if someone wants it. On top, it's good marketing for the hotel. Or not, but the threatening signs plastered all over were not befitting of a hotel in this price bracket.

On avait réservé une chambre 16 mètres carrés donc pour plus d espaces et la chambre en elle même n était pas plus grande car c était le couloir de l entrée de la chambre , les 3 métrées carrés en plus..

Lage

Ich war in einem winzigen Zimmer mit sehr niedriger Decke untergebracht, das direkt auf eine Strasse mit Nachtclub mit sehr lauter Musik bis drei Uhr morgens zeigt. Die Fenster sind überhaupt nicht isoliert, es ist als läge man mitten im Club. Ich habe zwei Nächte lang fast nicht geschlafen. Auf meine Beschwerde wurde erst gar nicht, dann mit einem genervten Schulterzucken reagiert. Das Personal ist überfordert und unfreundlich. Ich habe keine Ahnung, warum dieses Hotel vier Sterne hat. Es ist eine Unverschämtheit solche Zimmer zu diesem Preis zu vermieten. Es hat keine Minibar im Zimmer, es gibt kein Mineralwasser. Man erhält eine winzige Karaffe, die man sich selbst im Restaurant Bereich füllen muss. Bei 35 Grad ständig bis ins Parterre zu gehen, um einen Schluck Wasser zu bekommen, ist eine Zumutung. Ich reise sehr viel, so etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt, zu so einem Preis.

Das Hotel ist an sich sehr schön. Die Lage ist (abgesehen vom nächtlichen Lärm - siehe unten) sehr gut, man kommt in der ganzen Stadt zu Fuß herum und hat auch viele nette Lokale in der Nähe. Wir hatten einen Tag morgens Frühstück, das war sehr gut und bot eine große Auswahl. Das Personal war sehr nett.

Das Hotel ist direkt am zentralen Platz am Hafen gelegen. Obwohl wir ein Zimmer auf die Seitenstraße hin hatten, war es nachts dadurch extrem laut. Auf dem Platz wurde jede Nacht die ganze Nacht getrommelt, geschrien, Musik abgespielt und gehupt. Ich bin eigentlich nachts nicht sehr geräuschempfindlich, aber hier habe selbst ich unbedingt Ohropax gebraucht. Unser Zimmer war außerdem recht dunkel (dunkle Wände, schwarze Möbel etc) und dadurch und durch die Einrichtung wirkte es teilweise etwas dreckiger als es eigentlich war. ZB hing im Zimmer ein "Vintage"-Spiegel, bei dem ich nicht sagen kann, ob er extrem dreckig war (was dann sehr eklig gewesen wäre) oder ob das einfach der "Style" des Spiegels war.

Super séjour à l'hôtel Maison de Monde ! Idéalement situé sur le vieux port, à distance de marche de tous les sites d'intérêts de cette jolie ville qu'est Marseille. Très bon petit-déjeuner, un peu cher mais que des produits frais et une équipe charmante qui est aux petits soins. Notre chambre était belle, l'esprit maison du monde... Une très jolie déco, des objets stylés, une literie parfaite, une machine à expresso avec des capsules approvisionnées tous les matins, une propreté irréprochable, bref ! Je conseille cet hôtel, allez-y les yeux fermés ! Mention spéciale au gardien de nuit qui nous a sauvé d'un retard pour notre vol retour, sans lui nous aurions loupé notre avion ! Un grand merci à lui.

Amazing hotel and incredible staff. We had a room overlooking the old port. The rooms are very comfortable and well designed. My partner has mobility issues and when we were checking out one of the staff at the front desk helped us get our luggage all the way to the metro station where we were catching the subway to the train station. They couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.

For some completely not understandable reason, this hotel has four stars. My wife and I stayed here in early June, 2026. We had come from a cruise on the Rhone, but found the room at this hotel was approximately the size of our cruise boat room, but not as well laid out. We are not large people, but had to choreograph any movement around the room. Worse than that was that the AC did not work, which we reported to the front desk. They claimed they had a fix there, but it didn't work and they never came up to check. In early June, it cooled enough by around 2:00 am that we could sleep, a little bit, but I can only imagine how bad it would be in July or August. To top it off, I had reserved the room with a "breakfast included" rate, which the woman at check-in confirmed, but they would not honor the next morning when we went down for breakfast. All in all, despite a nice location, this was one of our worst hotel experiences for us, and we are pretty experienced overseas travelers.
