Die Lage war sehr gut. Super zentral am Alten Hafen.

Wir hatten ein 'Classic' Doppelzimmer gebucht, also die Standard Kategorie. Dass das bedeutet, dass wir ein Zimmer mit Blick in den Lüftungsschacht im Innenhof bekommen, habe ich nicht erwartet. Es war stockdunkel, die Belüftung hat die ganze Nacht gerauscht. Von Grand Hotel keine Spur. Das ganze Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, das Frühstücksbuffet war ok aber nichts besonderes, dafür mit 28 € recht teuer. Am meisten haben wir uns über unser dunkles und 'Aussichts-loses' Zimmer geärgert.

Amazing location. We didn’t like the room we were allocated as although larger it didn’t have the Juliet balcony shown on the photo.. just small windows. After being shown 2 other rooms we opted for a small and unrenovated rather tired and old room BUT with a balcony. And what a plus that was… morning coffee or evening drink watching the world go round in the port below. Sacrificing modern room for small tired one with balcony was well worth it!

Shame there’s no terrace from the bar but we had our own little balcony so that was ok.

Location

Inattentive staff. Fire alarm went off while we were waiting for dinner, extremely loud and stayed on for 20 minutes. It went off again at 5:30am. We waited for a pizza for 40 minutes. Finally asked the server - he forgot to put my corner in. That was all we ordered and the place only had one other table.

Great city hotel at an excellent location at the port. Even though it is in the middle of all of the port action, our room was nice and quiet at night. Very helpful staff too. Our view of the port was outstanding.

The air conditioning worked but the room was still very warm at night. Not a deal breaker though.

La posizione è perfetta per visitare la città, tutto è vicino e comodo. Bagni nuovi e ristrutturati di recente.

La presenza della moquette nella stanza, ma è più una questione di gusto personale.

The hotel is historic and well maintained. The staff are generally friendly. The highlight for us was breakfast and the associated service. It was amongst the best I've experienced anywhere in the world. All the waiting staff were exceptional: very friendly and efficient. I would particularly like to thank Vivienne for always looking out for a good spot for us and her friendly service. She really helped us in forming a good opinion of the hotel.

The room extras could have been better for a four-star hotel: no nuts or biscuits worth talking about.

Les oreilles, car ils ne sont pas de tout confortable, ils sont trop gonflé. Je n’ai pas réussi à dormi pendant les deux nuits de mon séjour, car les oreilles m’ont occasionnée mal à cervicale.

The location was just perfect as we had such a lovely view of the Old Port. We were also very close to many restaurants, shops & cafes. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We had issues with an upcoming flight which they helped us with. Breakfast was also a hit with us- good variety & again beautiful views

The welcoming staff from the moment we arrived! We were greeted by Brenda and a young boy, Liam who was at the hotel doing a work experience. I was so impressed with the way Brenda was guiding and teaching Liam. His check in was the best we have ever had! Thank you! Location was excellent, very central.

Air conditioning not working properly. No shower, only a bath tub (!?). Poor housekeeping: empty soap not replaced for two days; empty minibar filled after complaining with two bottles of water, one of which was open and half empty (!!); the floor mat in the bathroom was taken and not replaced… If you are driving your own car, you will not be able to reach the entrance, which is in an area closed to cars.

The view from our room was incredible, looking over the port. The room was really clean and beautifully decorated. Staff were super friendly and the breakfast was fantastic.

The air con wasn’t great and didn’t really cool down the room, plus the fridge wasn’t cold. But the staff did bring us up a fan for the room which really helped. This would really only be an issue in the hotter months.

HIstoric hotel, fantastic location, great view of the Vieux Port. Thoughtfully appointed to reflect this venerable hotel that has been here for some 200 years. Despite location, it's quiet--even more quiet in an interior room. The rooms with view do get a bit noisy when the Vieux Port area is lively in the evening. But it's not unreasonable.

The old-fashioned style of shower wand in a bathtub with no permanent place to attach it for a standup shower is challenging, and it's hard not to get water all over the bathroom. However, the second, interior room that we booked did not have this style of shower so was more convenient.

We paid over €200 for the room, but it felt overpriced. It was quite dark and the window looked out onto basically nothing. The value for money just wasn’t there.

Location is outstanding, the room was very comfortable, and the staff at both the reception and breakfast areas were truly exceptional. A highly recommended choice for anyone wishing to stay right in the heart of the city.

The room, the location, the view . . . all of it! Beautiful hotel. The oldest in Marseille and kept up so well. The breakfast was delicious and you looked right over the harbor. Loved it! The staff, too, was extra wonderful.

It was expensive, but I knew that going in. If/when I'm in Marseilles again, I will definitely go back.

Location was perfect, on the waterfront and centered in walking area of entertainment and dining. lovely room and comfortable sleeping and large showers.

Certaines parties communes de l’hôtel mériteraient d’être rénovées en particulier les moquettes des escaliers et couloirs.

Столики у окошка с видом на порт. Фрукты и свежая, вкусная выпечка. Отличный кофе. Ну и расположение супер!

They don't have air condiotining and the staff lies telling that they have a momentary problem.

Well, I booked this through booking.com and for some reason thought it was just a regular size room. What I got was an upstairs and downstairs and a view overlooking the harbor (bonus the shower that could fit 6 people) It was the first time in my travels I also had air and an elevator

Rooms were a little dated/worn but everything was clean and comfy and so it was just fine.

A very atmospheric hotel in the heart of the city, right on the port embankment. The hotel is historic and deserves attention for its history. The hotel is clean.

However, because it was built 200 years ago, it's not very comfortable for modern living. The layout is inconvenient and the rooms are small. The bathroom is poorly designed. The breakfast is rather poor.

4th floor had builders plastic on floor in hallway, carpets on stairs were stained. Bedroom huge but dated with marked carpets, dirty towels in bathroom which I had to get changed.

We ordered a room with a view and received a room with a side view, actually no view, which was a shame. Breakfast time was until 11:00, we arrived around 10:30 and there were no fruits or vegetables left, there was a rsuh to close the buffet.

They have given us the side room and it was dark and in back side of hotel cupboard was old fashioned very difficult to open then we requsted to change the room which was recetly renovated all the revation work is going on it was quite distributing in this room light switches for bathroom do not work and when you tak shower water is leaking

Beautiful views overlooking the marina near the center of town; Arrived Sunday and enjoyed open air market, restaurants within walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Restaurant had limited choices. Walk from taxi drop off to hotel entrance difficult with all our luggage.

Ειλικρινά δεν πιστεύω πως αυτό το δωματιο διατίθεται προς διαμονή και μάλιστα για 147 ευρώ!. Ευρύχωρο και ανετο μεν, αλλά προσομοιάζει περισσότερο για αποθήκη, ειναι εσωτερικό και εχει παραθυρα σε εναν τύπου φωταγωγό, είναι εσωτερικό σκοτεινό και κλειστοφοβικό....εντάξει δεν ειχαμε απαίτηση να βλέπουμε το λιμάνι (+50 ευρώ), αλλά οχι κ ετσι!

L'emplacement est parfait, face au vieux port. J'avais peur que ce soit trop brouillant le soir mais la chambre était en hauteur et donnait sur une rue calme selon mes souhaits, donc j'ai dormi délicieusement bien! Le personnel est très gentil avec mention spéciale pour Mme Brenda. la décoration est de très bon goût. Je vais surement revenir et réserver la même chambre!

Excellent emplacement, personnel extrêmement attentionné et sympathique, chambres confortables, salle de bains avec beaucoup de belles serviettes, de bons produits Occitane, peignoir. Le petit déjeuner très bien.

Les oreillers un peu trop gros et trop durs , chambres un peu petites mais très confortables, et très propres.

Weekend exceptionnel ! Nous avons pu profiter de la suite vue mer et vue Notre Dame de la Garde c'était magnifique du matin au soir. Un spectacle de lumière. Le personnel nous a réservé un accueil personnalisé c'était très appréciable. Ils ont été très professionnels, souriants et ont répondu à toutes nos attentes rapidement. C'était une très belle expérience. Nous étions avec un bébé de 6 mois, tout était réuni pour qu'il passe également un très bon séjour. Le petit déjeuner est complet et varié. Avec des produits de la région. Ce qui nous fait voyager le temps d'un weekend. Encore merci beaucoup.
