Dunas do Alvor - Torralvor

The location was excellent

It was all lovely I’ve nothing negative to say

Location,Pool, everything. Very friendly staff including apartment, restaurants and bar staff.

Couldn't say.

It’s locals excellent

The safety deposit safe was at floor level very difficult for the older person

Praia 5 minutos a pé, piscina grande, garagem, comodidades e limpeza

Spotlessly clean Great location

Everything, i go here every year and it has never let me down.

Nothing

Staff were very obliging and friendly. We arrived early and lady at front reception went out of her way to let us know when apartment was ready. Apt cleaned every 4 days. Ample towels available in between days. Very clean apt with washing machine. Spacious and bright apartment.

Swimming pool was separate from our apt block so had to go out our front door and walk a short distance to enter pool area

TV demasiado pequena

Central location. Lovely pool area. Great, friendly staff.

Nice apartment and pool area

Couch not comfortable and tv very small

The location and facilities are absolutely exceptional. We even ended up with the bigger apartment, Everything is on site and everything is so clean. The pool is second to none . Fabulous. This was our second time and we are booked again for next August

Please please please change those mistresses and update pillows. It’s like sleeping on a slab of cement with a stamp as a pillow and I have really struggled as others do too . My back was really hurting as were my hips. Also there is nowhere comfortable to sit once all the beds are made up in the living area for the teenagers. A soft couch would bring the place to the next level. All the armchairs are hard and so uncomfortable. I was never so happy to get home to soft furnishings.

Excellent location, close to Alvor and supermarket. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely restaurant on site. Big swimming pool. Loads of sun loungers.

Nothing!

We going there years so like its pool and surrounding bar and restaurant's

Good location.

Localização do apartamento e piscina impecável

Escoamento do chuveiro deficiente/insuficiente.

Czysto, fajny basen, restauracje i bary w tym samym kompleksie. Dobry stosunek jakości do ceny.

Nice swimming pool, very clean apartments, big underground parking lot

Distance to beach

Apartamento amplo com ar condicionado.

The staff was friendly, and the room and other amenities were clean. The pool was very nice and well managed. The apartments were family oriented and had all amenities close by.

The rooms are dated. Although we had a booking for a couple, we found single beds, rather than a double bed.

Perfect location, close to the town, lots of great cafes and restaurants on the complex.

Nothing!

Clean, well staffed, car parking on site, air con.

Nothing really.

Very clean and close to everything. Washing machine was of great value and the parking garage.

A localização. Perto da praia, supermercados, piscina.

O barulho.

The location is excellent and the apartments are very clean. Great that is pet-friendly!

The apartments need some renovation, namely in the bathrooms.

Location

I booked this apartment based on its overall rating and the photos. In hindsight, I wish I had sorted the reviews from lowest to highest, as those reviews matched my experience much more closely. 1. Misleading photos The balcony is extremely disappointing. It’s very small, and there are two air conditioning units mounted at head height on the side, blowing hot air directly onto anyone sitting there. Once two people are seated, one of them is literally about 20 cm from an AC unit (see photos). This makes the balcony essentially unusable, so there’s no comfortable outdoor space to relax. The listing photos are also misleading regarding the view. One of the photos suggests there is a pool view, but there isn’t. The apartment overlooks an unattractive area with no pool in sight. 2. Poor condition of the building The interior of the building is dirty, run-down, and poorly lit. Some residents leave bulky items, including parts of sofa beds, in the common hallways. On one occasion, a sofa was partially blocking the stairs. 3. Unreliable elevators The elevators do not work properly. On our first day, we got stuck inside one and never used it again. After speaking with other guests we met on the stairs, we learned that they had experienced similar problems with the elevators. 4. Tiny TV The TV is incredibly small—approximately 20 × 40 cm. It felt more like a computer monitor than a television. For the same price you can get more value and honest options.

Loved the location, the convenience of the restaurants and snack bars by the pool and proximity to the supermarket. The pool attendants were so friendly. Apartment was SO clean, plenty of towels for us. Cleaning items were supplied which was good. Stored our luggage on the last day and gave us a spare key to use the pool until we were picked up for the airport. I can't wait to go back.

Absolutely nothing.

Muy buena ubicación y excelente relación calidad- precio

Staff very helpful and courteous. The swimming pool is gorgeous. Life guard sets you up with lilo and umbrella.

Everything - Reception Staff, Pool Staff, Cleaning Staff, The appartment, facilities, the Pool, the restaurants and bars on the Dunas Complex especially the Chill Out (Leonal) and Tesouras Restaurant. The close proximity to the centre of Alvor and the beach - 5 minutes.

The frying pans in our otherwise perfect appartment were not Non-Stick.

The pool and location were excellent.

The beds were old and not comfortable.

Everything as we needed to live and cook, and nice with a balcony. Everything for shopping and dining so close by in a comfy atmosphere, including long opening hours. Flat was spacey and well equipped.

Pool could be open one more hour :) Flat has almost no decorations.

No repito.

Neant

Good location & good value for money. The swimming pool is beautiful so clean

A little dated could do with a refurbishment to freshen it up a bit

Its is on the perfect location

The birds

Central location

Nothing

Apartamento com divisões amplas. Bom Ar condicionado em ambas as divisões (sala e quarto). Acesso gratuito à piscina do empreendimento.

Good location and pool area. Spacious apt.Large bathroom

Very noisy especially people moving chairs etc upstairs. Toaster not working properly

Great location

Dated

Fantastic location, great pool, great facilities, Reception on site whenever required

It was clean and neat. Bed was comfortable. Close to beach.

Clean and all you need for a self catering holiday

Sofa bed extremely uncomfortable new matresses req

Det var okej för priset

Dåligt underhållet. Lampa utanför dörren trasig. Remote till Tv’n/ skärmen funkade inte. Inte mycket att se på dock. Bättre att ta med eget

Good area, good price, rooms big

Pool man took along time to get beds and could be arrogant. Toilets at pool needed more attention as some days no toilet roll

Nada a apontar.

The location, the pool, the places to eat

We do miss the little supermarket that was opposite the Chill Out Bar the new mini market isn't as good

Been staying here for many years, excellent large apartments, fantastic location & facilities nearby, all staff friendly.

Some of the furniture in the kitchen & living area is a little dated

Loved the area. Close to everything that suited me. No hills.

Locks on patio doors broke. Reported it and there was nothing done about it. Smell coming up from the bathroom shower. Lack of storage in the apartment. Tiny TV was disappointing. Other than that it was perfect!

Great location Pool complex really well maintained

Balconies were a bit tight

Breakfast was not included

There was a nest just above our balcony and the bird dirt was unreal. We have been to the dunnas any times and this was the first time we had a birds nest

The location is ideal! In the middle of the beach and town

Nothing always happy to stay at Dunas

We have stayed here 3 times now and as always it was an enjoyable stay, cannot recommend enough. We will be back again.

Cannot fault anything

Location

I liked all of it

Location, facilities. Great pool area. Very relaxing atmosphere

This is an excellent complex, has loads of facilities and very clean

Service from all staff was excellent... Sandra was extremely helpful. Accommodation is clean and basic. The location is excellent with Bars and restaurants in the complex, with a small shop for basic groceries. Larger Supermarket is a 2 minute.walk with the main centre area a 10 minute walk away. Uber and Bolt taxis were always only a 5 minute wait.

Spacious, well equipped and great location

Dated fixtures and fittings

Love this place, fab staff, excellent location, spacious apartments. Just back from 3rd time and will definitely be back again. The pool was fantastic, kept very well and the pool attendants were so helpful and kept the place and beds really clean all the time

This time we were in block C and we couldn't really use the balcony as it was not getting any breeze but lucky to have the pool.

The location was perfect close to the town and beach, the staff at reception were very helpful and the life guards around the pool couldnt do enough for us. Lovely little bars close the pool area.

Love the complex and onsite facilities

Nothing love it

Fantastic location, very spacious apartment, pool area lovely & very clean.

Could potentially do with cleaning more often but it didn’t affect our stay (cleaned once in the six days).

This apartment was outstanding! It was spacious , well equipped and immaculately clean. The staff on site were pleasant and knowledgable . Shout out to Sandra for her warm welcome and kindness .

Nothing

Everything was just so fantastic staff location facilities and great value

Nothing I did not like

Very friendly located close to all amenities very clean didn’t expect but room was cleaned during the week with new towels and bedding.

Keys and fob didn’t work at night to get back into the building had to wait for others to leave door open or let us in.

Location is fantastic

Me encantó todo, muy recomendable

I loved everything about Dunas, lovely restaurant The Cactus and lovely staff there. Also, a fabulous Fish & Chips restaurant all on the grounds of Dunas. The swallows and their nests were just so lovely to sit and watch, very relaxing. There's also a lovely private swimming pool. Highly recommend anyone going to Alvor for a holiday check out Dunas do Alvor accommodation, you won't be sorry.

Absolutely nothing to complain about because everything was so perfect 💯

Very spacious, well equipped apartment. The staff are really helpful, I would definitely stay again.

Apartment 229 was lovely

Room 229 didn't get any sun until 5 pm. I know it's not anyone's fault. Next time, PG, I would really love to get an apartment with a fairly big enough verandah to enjoy the sun 🌞

Location

Staff very helpful when checking in. Bed was comfortable. Location was good. There was quiet large bathtub.

Sink plugs were missing. It took us a while to figure out how the stovetop worked. We used earplugs as there was nearby talking outside on the plaza.

Facilities and location

Stayed here 3 nights due to medical emergency and enjoyed our stay

Nothing
