Dejar un depósito de 1000rands para que me entregaran la llave, que no hubiera ascensor para subir las maletas. Que los cables de la lámpara estuvieran pelados, que la ventana no cerrase y no nos dieran más mantas, que no nos pusieran jabón de manos, que en las condiciones para devolver los 1000rands estuviese sacar la basura y guardar la vajilla en los armarios ( y no nos pusieron ningun trapo de cocina para secarla). Que la limpieza en general fuera deficiente. Se nota que no quieren gastar nada en mantenimiento

You enter into the main bedroom which was the lounge turned into the main bedroom. No ensuite bathroom as you must use the bathroom and shower down the passage. It's basically a 1 bedroom apartment where the lounge was turned into a main bedroom.

No packing, car was not safe, room 1 was terrible with clogging water in the sink and shower. The braai facility was not working. We needed extra blacket there was non. Pots for cooking were not of standard. No house keeping.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Clean beaches, within mins walking distance. Had a lovely afternoon close by at Hops, watched men's semifinals at wimbledon, had a lovely time.
I returned to Hops on the Sunday, to be disappointed however, The Black Marlin, close to apartment, provided me w8th delicious dinner, and the opportunity to watch men's finals wimbledon another gr8 unique experience. The apartment is ideally situated for walking activities, time by the clean uncrowded beaches. That may change during school holidays.

My experience was disappointing for several reasons: 1. The reception is quite far from the accommodation, and you have to climb a long flight of stairs to get there. 2. Guests are required to pay a refundable R1,000 deposit, but this was not mentioned in the property's policies before booking. While I understand it's refundable, not every guest may have an extra R1,000 available on arrival. 3. The staff were not welcoming or particularly friendly. 4. The property is constantly noisy, with children screaming throughout the day, making it difficult to rest. When I reported the noise, I was told it was "still early," which wasn't a helpful response. 5. The bathroom was not clean. I found hair in it, and there wasn't even a shelf to place soap or toiletries. 6. The contact number provided for assistance was not answered when I called. 7. There was no complimentary soap provided in the bathroom. 8. The shower curtain was absolutely disgusting and clearly needed to be cleaned or replaced.

The window in the room was broken and banging shut the whole night, called reception and they said they would send someone to come take a look but never did. So we had to listen to the window banging shut the whole night, and to make it worse they have a night club right next door that was playing loud music until 5am. We couldn't shut the window to drown out the noise! And one other thing they don't tell you is that after the booking is made and paid for they require an additional R1000 as a breakage deposit

I didn't use anything in the kitchen, and I made sure to leave everything clean and tidy. I respected the place as if it were my own home. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and I enjoyed my time there. Thank you for providing such a safe and beautiful place to stay.

Le gros problème c'est que l appartement que nous avions était le n2 et qu'il donne sur la place principale. Le soir pas de bruit tout était fermé sauf un pub le MOZAMBIK et tout bascule de la musique à fond jusqu'à 2/3h du matin et donc si vous pensiez vous reposer tranquillement c'est mort 🤣 j'ai pratiquement fait 2 nuits blanche.

The receptionist didn't have a clue about the website, also no manager on duty... This is day 7 amd I still haven't received my deposit back. Everytime I phone, it's said to be done the next day... Need to shape this up!!! Train your staff. And provide safe parking for vehicle. Then it will be great.

The fact that we must take out the refuse bag, I dont know what will the housekeeping staff will do I understand the rule of breaking and stealing have to be safeguarded, hence the deposit is there,this thing of not air drying the dishes I think the set too many things that should be done by housekeeping staff that was made to be the guest duties because they want their R1000 deposit back I will rather pay for housekeeping than to take out the dustbin, no iron was provided had to call and request it, was told to use it and put it in the cupboard and what about the next day again will call again?

There was no room service, when we arrived there was 1 roll of tissue paper, there was only x2 45mls of shower gel and shampoo for 3 nights that I had booked, the bunk beds had no steps or ladder to climb, there was no playing facilities for the children, the was only one toilet for the whole family and it was an insuit🤥, had to park our car on the other side That apartment is not children friendly I was so disappointed

No glass dishes to put food in. No big pot. Not good lighting at the braai area to braai in the evening. TV kept loosing signal. Should have DSTV even if its the lower package. Windows were very difficult to open. We prefer fresh air to aircon. No big bin to empty once the bin inside is full.

Blood On the furniture, shower fulls off mold, 4 adults, but bunker beds, the sofa is broken and only place for 2 adults to sit on. The TV was out of order for 2 days. Curtains dirty. Looks like blood. No gas for stove had to ask for refill. Slippers of previous guest under sofa. Took 2 days for staff to collect

I felt that the overview (what you can see was clean but it felt like the finer touches were not clean for example the toothbrush holder was still dirty and the second rooms bed sheet has a big stain on it (I check all bedding before getting into a bed) no hand towels were provided. It wasn't a bad stay just feel a bit more effort in the cleaning can be done.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026I liked the location of the accommodation. It was very central to everything which made it very convenient. I also enjoyed the outside patio, it was a nice touch to the apartment.
The shower seemed to have some plumbing issues. You could hear the water pushing up the shower drain and it would leave sand in the shower which I didn't really enjoy. The aircon in the room was very weak as well so it didn't really help to keep the room nice and cool.
