Continental breakfast didn’t offer non pork meat. There is a pool online but it’s closed and the area is very dirty. The bathroom was poorly done and I could see the wallpaper lifting in corners. The halls also smelled bad.

Great location, but the rooms are filled with issues that range from the A/C to the showers and toilets. Be sure to check your bank account upon leaving for any duplicate charges.

Ageing furniture, no water bottles available inside the room, only use & throw plates/cups/cutlery available inside the rooms/during breakfast. Very limited breakfast options available. The most unpleasant experience of all was the ridiculous $50 charge for an early check-in for a room that is already vacant and the reason-a very cold response from the front desk saying it is a "management policy" that is not mentioned anywhere on the website/booking.com. Arriving at the hotel at 11 in the morning after a 14 hour flight, I was obviously too exhausted to just sit at the reception until 3 in the afternoon and was left with no option except to pay. Of course, the front desk was least bothered and unfased about my situation and never made the slightest of efforts to accommodate it. (I already mentioned this as a special request during booking,)

I like the bed very clean and comfortable, shower is very relaxing area , need the room paint other things the hotel is compatible with the Hilton or around hotels.

Staff was friendly and helpful! Room was clean and comfortable. (I could walk barefoot in my room, and my feet stayed clean!) Good variety at the free breakfast. Glad for free parking and free shuttle to the metro stop; I did not move my car at all during my stay!

The worn appearance of the room and the hotel. The fact that they didn’t coffee available in the middle of the day!!! I asked the front desk for hot water for a cup of instant oatmeal. I was told NO. REALLY??!! No HOT WATER available?? Never heard of that at ANY hotel. Front desk staff was always aloof and not helpful.

I’ve stayed here twice on a business layover. It’s ok … nothing that stands out. Good for a layover? Sure. Somewhere I’d want to stay with my family on vacation? Not really. Good location though & staff has always been nice & helpful. Even the pool is closed … it’s summer!

The location was perfect. 20 minutes from the joint base. Across from a shopping mall that had great selection of stores and restaurants.

The room had a broken AC, the ceilings in the bathroom and bedroom were water damaged and pieces falling over the bed. The iron had broken pieces. Under the sink was damaged. The bathroom tub fixtures needed replacing, the water was lukewarm. When the maintenance tech came to see about the AC he said he has told management this room needed to be out of service and the AC needed to be replaced because the thermostat isn't steady, the control knob is missing, it is noisy and all he could do is unplug if we didn't want the room frosty. But with the 90° weather couldn't chance that. So we bought blankets and sleep bundled up. Front desk clerk said he was new and just recommended that we indicate our issues in the review and if we get an email send our pictures there. It was a convenient location for the retirement ceremony we attended on the base. However, we literally could only quick bathe and try to sleep against the AC noise. The elevators bounced and showed the wrong floors. The ice machine broke on our floor. The breakfast had good options and my husband enjoyed the coffee. I wish we could be refunded at least one night for all the inconvenience and no resolutions offered during our stay. As I was leaving I mentioned this to all to a manager, Norman and showed him pictures. He said the first guy didn't even leave a note nor mention the issues to him. He said the first night was full but we could have been moved the second and it should have been offered. Norman wrote down our issues. He apologized for inconveniences. He said he needed to investigate our claims, but could offer 3000 award points in compensation in the meantime. The main manager Ana came out to assist another guest, but overheard some of our conversation. According to Norman they they would discuss and get back to us using my contact info from the booking. Norman also mentioned the elevator issue was being addressed ( waiting on tech to arrive).

The mattress on the bed was very comfortable. And the shower remained very hot and pleasing! The variety at breakfast was great!

Before our arrival, i called to verify something with the receptionist. I then traveled all of the way there to be told something completely different, which caused a hassle. The hotel is quite outdated. The esthetic isnvery old. The bed frame squeaked loudly. The microwave had a regular plate inside, it was also rusted on the inside and did not appear clean.Two of the lamp shades have mold in them (I have pictures as verification).And Between the safe or the fridge, something made a very interesting noise throughout my stay.

Not clean, noisy, old and any repairs were poor e.g. lock on door was not fully secured, bathroom wallpaper was stapled to wall where it came off, possible blood stain on tissue container in bathroom, remote control was a bit sticky. Stayed only 3hrs as the final draw was the noisy A/C. There was other small stuff but that is enough to make me leave and continue my drive at 2am after driving for 6hrs.

The breakfast was good. The room was clean. Conveniently located for people who are commuting and need access to 95.

It wasn't quite what I thought it was going to be. The room was dark, in need of an overhaul because it's had one too many patch jobs. It was a tight fit for a King bed. I couldn't get my key to work even after getting it changed out. I had to slide the key card in the slot at least 5 times, every time before I could get into my room. It had an adjoining room that was lockable on my side and likely the same on the other, but sound travels so loudly. I could hear conversations all night on some nights. On one evening of the 5 days I stayed there, only one young gentleman staff member was pleasant and said, "good evening" when I walked in. Wish I had remembered his name to say how nice he was. All other occasions, it was like the staff was avoiding eye contact or were just in permanent bad moods.

There weren't many options for breakfast, the bathroom had mold and mildew and the tile in the bathroom was coming up off the floor (very hazardous), there was also no body wash, no easy access to gym, hard to find parking. It was a pretty awful experience.

Worth every minute. Cheerful team, great beds- had a good night. Rooms were clean and welcoming. Breakfast- superb. Healthy options. Only issue, bed was too high - even for a 5.9 😊. Found a way to climb up! Thank you guys.

The breakfast was decent. The eggs were hot and there was a nice selection to go with the eggs or if you chose a cold breakfast cereal and yogurt. The coffee was very good. The staff were friendly and kind. We have stayed at the Wingate Springfield before and we know what to expect and always feel comfortable there. The hotel is a bit dated, but we are happy with the price and location.

Let me start with the positives: the front desk staff were absolute gems — friendly, professional, and clearly the only people holding this establishment together. Now, the rest. The hallway carpet has developed its own unique fragrance — somewhere between 'mystery stew' and 'forgotten gym bag.' Truly a scent journey. As for the bedsheets, I have evidence suggesting they operate on a geological timeline between changes. How do I know? I discovered a little gift from the previous occupant — toenail clippings tucked under the sheet. A souvenir! How thoughtful. I did not ask for it. Room 303 is also quietly redecorating itself — the stucco from the ceiling is peeling off unprompted, which gives the room a lovely 'mid-demolition chic' aesthetic. And the door looks like it lost a negotiation with a crowbar at some point, lending the whole experience a thrilling sense of adventure every time you try to sleep. Two stars — entirely because the staff deserves better than this building, and frankly, so do my feet.

Staff was not particularly friendly; 1st day of breakfast they ran out of juice and glasses and staff member failed to attend to or resolve the issue until desk clerk was notified and addressed staff; overall cleanliness of facility was mediocre; no carts to move luggage to room or car; parking was horrendous and overall location was not optimal. Somewhat isolated and going back and forth to my daughters to see my granddaughter and returning later at night felt extremely unsafe with no security present.

Good value, clean room, bright outside lights shining in room and the curtains couldn't be closed enough. HVAC unit kind of noisy. Good breakfast. Good front desk staff.

Water pressure in rooms very low, to include toilet flushing. Variety at breakfast was ok. Meats are often under cooked. No milk provided for cereal. No orange juice on most mornings...even at start of breakfast. Coffee cold from canister. Shampoo and conditioner in room was empty at check in...not refilled even on request. Tissue boxes same thing. Older model hotel.

The room was horrible we had rust in the bathroom and mold in the vent in the bathroom. Ceiling had water damage that was covered up by paint . Beds were stained . Front desk staff at the time was very nasty and rude he made us wait to check in over 30mins .

The smell, the reception person. The air conditioning it was a nightmare I couldn’t sleep well it keep turning on and off, and the smell was like humidity.

They told me the hotel was 21+ but it wasn’t on the website . The staff was disrespectful so i left

they contract with local schools and they had about 5 buses pull up and stay there with school kids for 3 nights at least who were running, screaming, stomping all evening long way past 10 pm courtesy time. I had to call front desk every night to have them check on upstairs room where the kids were yelling at the top of their lungs and what felt like boxing each other and the walls.

It was OK to stay for one night. Decent hotel.
