Ames Hotel

All service good

The bed, pillows, and bedroom size were great. The location is also convenient if you’re planning family activities like visiting Malaysia Heritage Studios, the zoo, Melaka Wonderland, and Muzium Orang Asli. It’s also close to the highway toll, which makes travelling around easier.

Perhaps can update the website information. I try to see the hotel's spa package but when i search at the Ames's website, the spa redirect me to 404 not found page. I try using various browser apart from Google but it still give me the same result.

It’s clean and private property. Very near to the zoo and the lake. I had a good experience with my kid.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel’s location was very convenient. Actually, I’ve stayed here almost 10 times, perhaps even more. My parents really love this hotel, and as long as they are happy here, I’ll always bring them back. ❤️

Overall, everything was good and we had a pleasant stay.There was nothing significant that we disliked.

房间： 床非常大很舒服，居然可以睡四个瘦子的程度。 房间内很不错，灯光好环境好。 餐厅：食物种类充足 服务：柜台和其他服务生的服务让我很满意

免费WiFi不好用，不提网速但是稳定性都很差。 室内一些设施坏了/老化了没有维修。 厕所的遮挡布有污垢没有进行清理/更换。 衣柜门很难滑动，我住的那一间衣柜门还脱轨差点掉下来！

1. The location is a bit off surrounded by old shops & narrow lanes & kind of mismatch with the hotel building. 2. Very narrow lane going up to the hotel parking space if u arrive in yr own car.

Some staff were unhelpful. But the receptionist was very friendly.

I really appreciate how they handled my situation. My child accidentally wet the blanket a little, and they were very understanding. They reassured me that it was only a small issue and that they could manage it. As a family with young children, this level of understanding and excellent service made our stay much more comfortable and convenient. I will definitely book here again!

There wasn't much to complain about. The only thing is that the pool layout was a bit plain, but the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Saya hampir dilaggar oleh 2 kenderaan namun atas kecekapan pemandu tersebut, nyawa kami masih selamat dan tiada kecederaan dan kerosakan pada kenderaan berlaku. Mohon panjangkan hal ini kepada pihak berkuasa

If Malacca is a stopover for other cities, then this hotel serves its purpose. External a bit run down but the internal seems newly renovated and the the room is spacious.

Not near the city area

The bed best, the staff was friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was variety and delicious, the location was quiet. We take room premium king if not mistaken.

The room that i stayed the aircond not too cold, the curtain have some part that not hang up properly, not have nice view, dine in room service food less variety and area hotel do not have near access to shop. Have to go out far a bit.

The hotel place so calm I can say this hotel is for those want a peacefully vacation 😊

The room so comfortable

The night staff, not friendly we ask for assistance to open the door since we left it the room, the reception was 2 guys. Not smiling, not saying anything just pass to us the extra key card without even looking. Surrounding parking area a bit dark and scary..the light not bright enough.

The room was so nice and clean. Having my stay here for two night were so awesome and my both sons also enjoy our staycation at Ames Hotel. Their staff also very helpful and always smile to customers. My family will repeat to stay here if we are coming to Melaka ☺️

Location near the AH2 expressway. Convenient for travellers looking for stop-over.

No towels were provided for until requested. Even that was slightly inconvenient as the quick dial buttons on the phone do not work. Eventually I managed to contact housekeeping via another department

Windows arent clean

1. Aircon was cold. Made for a comfortable stay. 2. Room and toilets are clean enough, although can see signs of aging. But clean enough for us. 3. Buffet wasn't the best I've experienced but good enough spread.

1. Requested baby cot, didn’t have one. 2. End up needed to pay for an extra bed which costs RM120 extra. 3. Receptionist doesn’t speak formally. Used a lot of “lahs” at the end of sentences. Normally not a big deal but if you’re going to rate the hotel as a five star property then at least have the staff act accordingly. 4. Shower head in the room didn’t work, had to call for maintenance to come fix it. 5. Shower curtain against the window has a lot of mold from being wet over a long time. 6. Can see things are outdated in the room. Phone, bathroom countertop, bedside table lamp, etc. It just all looks a bit seasoned. 7. Parking is just street parking, no parking facilities on site. But the receptionist told me “it’s free at least lah”. 8. Lifts have no security, no card scanning needed so really any person or stranger can access the room floors. 9. Far from town centre and all the tourist spots so if you’re looking to go see the sites, expect a minimum 30-40 minute drive. 10. At night, the area is really quiet and streets have limited and dim lighting so it can be dodgy driving around the property at night. 11. This isn’t a five star property even though it supposedly rates itself as one. This is 3-4 star at best. 12. Wouldn’t recommend friends and family. Better choices of hotels in town area.

Hotel was nice, presentable, breakfast buffet was good, all staff was polite and very engaged with patron.

Our room was not clean when we went out even though the request for cleaning was engaged on the door and the cleaning staff was politely ask to clean. That was the most disappointing element during the stay.

That the hotel itself is far from the hustle and bustle of the city

The exterior was unassuming but once you’re inside, quite surprising. The room was nice, but even with the aircond on, it is hot during the day as it is a corner room. Too much direct sunlight.

The food was disappointing be it the buffet food for the event or the breakfast buffet. A lot to improve.
