Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich. Als unser Sohn Magen-Darm-Probleme hatte, haben sie sich rührend gekümmert und einheimische Medizin für ihn zubereitet. Die Terrasse oben im Grünen war herrlich. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Wir waren Abends im das Gast Haus angekommen. Abends gegen nach 19 Uhr wir waren Da,die Zeit Zimmer nicht komplett eingerichtet. Jedes Teil Wir müssen nachfragen. Alle teilweise Sachen kaputt. Klimaanlagen zu laut. Wir haben 4 Zimmer reserviert. Speise Saal wars komplett dreckig. Tischdecken Monaten lang nicht reinigen,Hygiene warst super schlecht . Wir haben Abend chickendewilled 2 Portion und Fishdewilled 2 Portion bestellt.die waren das grilled checken und fish von der Stadt von einheimischen Restaurant gekauft und uns dass serviert. Die beiden Gerichte waren sehr alt und trocken. Der Gasthaus Besitzer gesagt sie hat das selber vorbereitet. Warst gelogen. Und die fish Helfer von Fisch Kopfe. Ungenießbar. Die waren beiden Gerichte von einheimischen laden fertig gekauft. Die waren trocken und Ungenießbar. Die Besitzerin warst sehr unfreundlich und lügen. Also diese Gasthaus empfehle ich niemandem.

One of the best properties that you can choose in Habarana. Walkable distance to the main area. The property is mesmerizing with warm hosts. Their breakfast was delicious and served with love. The cabin room was too good with all the necessary facilities.

We were made to feel very welcome by Tusita and his family. The garden is absolutely beautiful. The room had air conditioning and a great mosquito net and was really comfortable. Tusuta helped us to visit lots of places around and showed us the amazing plants and animals which were in the garden. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend Green Garden.

Väldigt vänlig och trevlig personal. De hade väldigt god frukost och lagade god indisk mat. I riklig mängd. De hade egna fordon för alla aktivteter och upplevelser vi ville göra. På rummet fanns både en takfläkt och aircondition och även myggnät runt omkring sängen.

Quiet peaceful location. Good price. Tuk tuk tour of Dambulla and elephants en route was great. Nothing much other than train station and bus connections for communications in Habanara.

Luke warm shower. Washing machine advertised was out of service.

A stunning garden and really useful communal dining area. We were in the downstairs rooms which were clean, had comfortable beds with mosquito nets and good air conditioning which the owner waived the fee for. Space for luggage in the rooms was good. Excellent location which was quiet but near everything. Breakfast was excellent, lots of lovely Sri Lankan dishes.

Electrics were old and sockets were old style so needed adapters. Cold shower, but that is the norm. Unfortunately washing machine was out of action.

Had a wonderful stay at Green Garden Resort. The rooms were clean, the environment was peaceful, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also assist in organizing tours like Pidurangala tour and Elephant Safari, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful natural setting.

Wir waren 2 Nächte im Green Garden. Der Besitzer liebt seine Pflanzen und hat uns einiges erzählt. Ein entzückender Ort um das KulturDreieck zu erkunden. Sehr nett 👍

The hosts were very kind and helpful. They organized a safari with guaranteed elephant viewing. They also arranged a massage at the spa and transportation to the cultural center for a regional dance performance. I highly recommend it.

Everything was perfect.

Sehr gut. Funktionierende Klimaanlage große Zimmer und sehr freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Das Ambiente war super. Allerdings fehlte ein wenig der Garten zum chillen hierzu, was die Bilder vermuten lassen.

Ubytování bylo v krásné a udržované zahradě, jeden pokoj byl v přízemí a druhý v patře s terasou. Ten dole byl spíš jak ve sklepě, nedalo se tam vyvětrat. Horní patro vonělo dřevem, bylo světlé a před pokojem byla terasa, na které bylo příjemné posezení, viděly jsme spoustu zvířátek. Vše bylo čisté, jen ani jeden den (byly jsme 2 noci) netekla teplá voda. Snídaně byla báječná, obě rána jsme dostaly vajíčka, placičky, čerstvé ovoce, máslo, marmeláda, čaj a voda. Všichni byli velmi přátelští a příjemní. Dovolili nám dřívější check-in, jeden pokoj byl připravený (jen jsme tam hned ráno nechali kufry a vrátily se večer).

Vadila nám studená voda na sprchování, ale vzhledem k tomu, že bylo teplo, tak jsme to přežily.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Ils ont été au petit soin avec nous. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et l'hôte nous a permis de découvrir de nombreuses choses : de la danse traditionnelle sri lankaise au safari de Huluru, il a été ultra disponible. Toute la famille est super gentille et nous avons eu un pincement au coeur à les quitter.

A perfect place for plant lovers. It’s definitely worth booking a stay in the cabins, at least for one night. A highly recommended and peaceful spot, surrounded by nature.

This managing couple is cool, they arranged for me to see the dance show . They have more than 500 vases! Yup its a green garden indeed.

Great value for money. It’s not a luxury hotel but it doesn’t try to be one either. Room and sheets were clean, ac and hot water, the place itself is nice and the staff were very nice and friendly.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He helped us to organise a tour and transport and everything was fair priced. We also rented his scooter. The breakfast was good and the room was nice and clean. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay

I really like this house. Lot of work has been done. Wooden bridge with lighs in the night, swing in the jungle-garden, paintings in the din ing room are also the owner's. The sink in the bathroom is a work of art. You can feel, you are in the jungle, but you have a fridge in the room, wifi and filtered water is free of charge. You can pay a small fee for air conditioning. The host's family is really nice and can help with the trips.

Power cut - what to do...

Una casa estupenda con unos anfitriones a la altura. Nos han puesto facilidades desde adaptación de horarios de desayuno hasta ayudarnos con el coche. Sin duda repetiría. Tiene un jardin espectacular

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet mit auffällig großem Bad und in einem tollen Garten gelegen, in dem wir Vögel, Schmetterlinge und sogar einen Waran beobachten konnten! Der Gastgeber organisierte für uns eine wirklich unglaubliche Safari im Minneriya National Park und im Anschluss daran ein fantastisches Frühstück. Dabei waren die Preise immer transparent und mehr als angemessen, wir fanden alles perfekt!

Bellissima esperienza. La struttura è stata tutta realizzata dalla famiglia che ospita. È come stare a casa, ma immersi nelle piante e nel silenzio. La famiglia è stata super disponibile in tutto e carinissima. La mamma prepara le colazioni, aiutata dalla figlia, mentre il papà volendo organizza gite fuori porta. Carinissimo. Ci siamo trovate davvero bene. Super consigliato!!

Buona la posizione, host molto carini e disponibili. Colazione abbondante e buona. Per quanto abbiamo pagato, quanto offerto è giusto.

La camera era vecchia. Siamo stati attratti dalla struttura in legno ma purtroppo la stanza assegnata era una piccola camera all'interno dell'ingresso della casa. Bagno buio e inquietante.

Struttura non granché, i proprietari molto gentili e buona colazione. Si trova a poche centinaia di metri dalla strada principale. Proprietari gentilissimi..

La stanza non era sporca e il bagno di basso livello, la doccia non buona, la strada per raggiungerla é buia e parzialmente sterrata. Abbiamo dovuto pagare un extra per l’aria condizionata.

Qualità prezzo buono e colazione inclusa

Le fotografie non corrispondevano alla stanza selezionata, ci hanno messo in una stanza nel seminterrato molto sporca e per niente accogliente. Lo staff disponibile seppur non capisse l’inglese quindi la comunicazione è stata complicata. Per quel prezzo abbiamo trovato comunque alloggi migliori in Sri Lanka

The owners were extremely hospitable and friendly. The property was very pretty and homey and a quick 5 minute walk to the main road. They were very helpful with booking tours and can book everything from the hotel.

The rooms are simple but have everything you need and everything worked great.

Krásné ubytování v zelené zahradě, velmi milý hostitel, který si rád popovídá a sdílí poznatky ze života na Srí Lance. Dobrá snídaně, velmi blízko národnímu parku Mineryia, hostitel nám sehnal Jeep s průvodcem. Doporučujeme toto ubytování a děkujeme!

Pokoje bardzo ciekawe i wygodne. Pokoje 4-osobowe znajdują się na piętrze, które jest bardzo klimatyczne. Czystość w pokojach 4- osobowych jest w porządku. Gospodarze bardzo sympatyczni. Śniadanie w porządku.

Pokój 2-osobowy jest w dużo gorszym standardzie niż pokoje 4-osobowe. W pokojach dostępne tylko 1 gniazdko. Klimatyzacja dodatkowo płatna 2000 LKR za pokój za dobę.

La famille est très sympathique. La guest house est très bien située, en retrait de la route principale mais à proximité des commerces, restaurants et des arrêts de bus. Nous avons fait le safari avec la guest house, c'était beaucoup moins cher qu'avec les agences de la ville et ça s'est très bien passé. Nous sommes également passés par eux pour le transfert vers notre destination d'après, parfait également.

Les jus de fruits du petit déjeuner mais c'est un détail et nous avons compris ensuite que la recette locale est assez différente de ce à quoi nous sommes habitués :)

Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig mit einem schönen Garten. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und es gab ein leckeres, großes Frühstück. Fußläufig gibt es auch mehrere Restaurants. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Ventilator und ohne Klimaanlage, was jedoch ausreichte. Über die Unterkunft können auch Ausflüge gebucht werden (z.B. Safari, Dambulla, Sigiriya).

Das Frühstück wurde immer frisch zubereitet.

Die Kopfkissen waren nicht besonders sauber und ich hätte mir Topper für die Matratzen gewünscht.

De sfeer en de lieve gastheer en gastvrouw. We hebben genoten van de prachtige tuin en het heerlijke eten dat speciaal voor ons was gekookt. Alles was schoon en zag er nieuw uit. We hebben heerlijk geslapen.

Der Garten war schön, auch der Gemeinschaftsraum war angenehm. Das Frühstück war auch gut und der Service dabei nicht zu beanstanden. Außerdem gab es Trinkwasser kostenfrei. Die Hosts waren definitiv freundlich. Grundsätzlich war es kein schlechter Aufenthalt, wenn man keine weiteren „Dienste“ annimmt und sich unabhängig von dem Host kümmert. Die Unterkunft war schließlich nicht teuer, die Einrichtung jedoch auch entsprechend.

Preiswerte Unterkunft mit in die Jahre gekommenen Möbeln. Unterkunft liegt in einer Nebengasse die bei Nachts zu Fuß gruselig zu erreichen ist. Wir mussten leider feststellen, dass die Gastgeber sehr daran interessiert sind, die Gäste zu Trips zu begleiten oder zu vermitteln um dann Abzockpreise (viel zu hohe Guide und Fahrtkosten) zu verlangen. Sogenannte Workshops stellten sich als reine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten heraus. Wurde nichts in den Läden gekauft so wurde auch die Stimmung des Hosts schlechter. Auch nach längeren Trips wie eine Jeepsafari wurden „very famous places“ ( Souvenirshops oder mittelpreisige bis höherpreisige Restaurants) angeboten. Bei Nichtbetreten oder kein Verlangen nach Essen wurde mit dem Kopf geschüttelt. Es hatte den Anschein, als ob es Deals zwischen dem Host und mehreren Shops/Personen gab. Des Weiteren wollen wir darauf hinweisen euch nicht auf die „One Bill“ Methode einzulassen. Bei unserem Check-Out wurden Tausende Rupien dazu addiert, die eigentlich nach Absprache schon im Preis inkludiert sein sollten. Im Nachhinein ein enttäuschender Aufenthalt.

Una familia encantadora y un lugar muy bonito. La habitación era amplia y estaba limpia. Desayuno muy completo y muy buena ubicación, a unos minutos andando de restaurantes, lago, transporte....¡Gracias por todo, hemos estado genial!

L'emplacement est idéal, a l'écart de la route principale mais à 5mn à pied des restaurants, commerces... Parfait pour visiter tout le centre culturel du pays. Anaradhapura, Dambulla, Polonaruwa, Sigirya, safaris... Le jardin aussi est magnifique les chambres à l'étage très agréables Les propriétairestres très gentils, ils ont organisé pour nous toutes les activités à des prix défiant toute concurrence, sans prendre de commission supplémentaire.

Un peu de maintenance dans les chambres à faire sur l'éclairage, les prises électriques pas toutes fonctionelles.

Hôtes super gentils, de bon conseil, pas d'arnaques sur les prix, ils nous ont aidé a organisé un safari, plus un driver sur la journée pour les sites alentours. Je recommande. De plus le petit déjeuné est très copieux!!

Beautiful Tree Houses, hand built with rustic look, plants climbing, sun flooding in, the owners are a lovely family who answer any questions and will give a tour around. A few mins walk to town, ATM, bus stop. Breakfast tea, coffee, juice, and variety of local and western food . Quiet street near Lovely Spice garden with fabulous knowledgeable owner too. Lake not far, batik shops, central to Safari, Anuradhapura, Dambulla, Sigiriya. Will send friends here . Thank you!

Pokud máte rádi klid a jste fanoušci botanických zahrad a pozorovani opic z balkónu, pokud vám nevadí, že ty opice občas maji party na střeše a nenechají vás spát :-), tak je tohle místo pro vás. Super milá a flexibilni rodina, zařídí všechno, co potřebujete, nebyl problem ani ve změně termínu odjezdu. Děkujeme 🫶

Cool, calm, quiet, cosy and peaceful. A little tropical garden oasis amidst the hustle of Habarana. Super easy to hire a scooter and get yourselves to Sigiriya just 20minutes down the main road. The hosts were so friendly and hospitable, we were so grateful for the delicious home cooked meals, coffee and tea. Thank you 🙂

Contacted the staff and got an early check in. Situated at the center.

Bathroom accessories including the commode was not functional. AC was not working well. No towels or bed sheets were provided. Bed linen and pillow cases weren’t properly washed. The list of facilities listed in the booking page is nowhere near the provided services.

The place was extremely beautiful, being in the middle of the jungle but with all the comforts we needed. The room was really clean and with a good scent. The hosts are the most kind you could find. They are interesting, available and beautiful people. The host also offered to drive us to the most beautiful attractions of the region with a very cheap prize. If you go I would recommend to eat there since the meals they prepare are special. The quality of everything we experienced was way beyond our expectations.
