Cài vòi sen ở bồn tắm khó chỉnh. Do vòi được làm chất liệu đồng, khi chỉnh nước nóng dễ bị nóng ở tay cầm. Nếu khách sạn đánh dấu việc tăng nước nóng rõ hơn về phía nào thì sẽ dễ cho người lớn tuổi sử dụng, sẽ ko bị nóng tay nữa.

I booked a luxury room in the main building, but since there was no elevator and I couldn't manage the stairs (which were numerous), I requested a different category room, which they offered me in the annex. When it came time to pay, I had to pay for the luxury room I didn't use, which I found very unacceptable from such a prestigious hotel.

The extremely high noise from a nearby music festival during two days just after TET when we stayed at the hotel. Kept going till 23.25. Before that it was quite uncomfortable to be in the room.

view is the best in dalat，however，the facility is too old ，i found the pipe is leaking water and the wash water is sometimes hot sometimes cold ，bath feeling is too bad. especially，the breakfast is not the five star level.the staff are all good，attitude and service are both well.

Mình hơi bất ngờ về bộ phận phục vụ tại nhà hàng, đối với tiêu chuẩn 5 sao thì không phù hợp để các bạn thể hiện thái độ không chuyên nghiệp như vậy. Take care khách không tốt, kể cả lúc ăn sáng và trà chiều ở 2 sảnh. Không rõ là trainee hay sao nhưng mình không đánh giá cao và rất ảnh hưởng đến trải nghiệm chung lúc lưu trú. Mong khách sạn cải thiện.

The hotel is beautiful with lots of great photos vantage points. I love how the hotel retains its historic charms while still has the amenities of the modern day. The views from the windows are wonderful.

We stayed in the older wing and there were no elevators, walking up to the third floor again and again can be tiring, especially when it’s late and you’re a bit drunk 😅.

No bidet. No shower, there is a high bathtub which was difficult to get into. No elevator. The first floor is 30 steps high.

Hotel location is very central and convenient. The building, grounds, room deco and the Christmas decorations are all stunning.

Food. For breakfast and afternoon tea, the variety and quality of the food Inc desserts are below par for a five star hotel.

We first stayed at Dalat Palace Heritage Hotel in October 2014 and fell for its French-colonial elegance—savoring room-service breakfast on the lake-view balcony amid misty gardens. Those mornings hooked us for a return. But our October 2025 return was a nightmare from start to finish.

Our October 2025 stay under new management was a magic-less nightmare from check-in, shattering our nostalgia. Stunning original architecture and views endure, but this relic begs urgent plumbing, sound insulation, and a new kitchen. Our 'royal suite' in the new 2017 annex reeked of sewer on arrival—drainage issues echoed in other reviews. The nauseating stench, plus the new annex's gilded French theme-park kitsch, clashed with the historical wing's authentic art-deco and colonial historical features. Noise assaulted nonstop: thumping music and street din blasted through from late afternoon till past 11pm, rattling windows and my skull. Our serene balcony? Nope—we escaped to a cocktail bar in town every night. Dining was subpar. Breakfast: overcooked eggs, stale pastries, limp fruits—eons from 2014's bespoke joy. Afternoon tea: a tepid buffet but stingy all at the same time. Dinner has declined sharply too. The lamb rack was under-trimmed and underdressed, loaded with gristly fat we left behind. The 'French onion soup' was overly chunky and bizarre, which tasted like the chef had never tasted a real French onion soup. In 2014, we ordered from an impressive cellar, including a memorable 1985 Chateau Chalon. Now? Just five crappy commercial wines, and they even ran out of their one Dalat sparkling option. Insult piled on: a shampoo dispenser in the shower slipped off the steamy, slick shelf and shattered. Accident? Fine—but the 500,000 VND charge screams "cheapskate", underscoring how far this property has fallen. Staff communication was another low point. The language barrier felt wider than in 2014—surprising for Da Lat's tourism boom—and I chased follow-ups on requests two days after first asking.

Great location, grounds and nice room.

Staff were poorly trained, especially in the restaurant. Overbearing and frustring to deal with. Hotel miss took a payment month before it should have through booking.com, and didn't recognise this. Only through VISA investigating was this discovered. Transfer from airport is x7 more than a local taxi or grab ... Just incredibly poor value. Hotel was very expensive relative to what it offered.

Very beautiful hotel with colonial charm and history. It has been an iconic structure in centre of town for many years. The dinning room is very nice and of course their suites. All the staff are excellent and very attentive.

Foods could be better though staff serving are fantastic!

We couldn’t stay in main room. So we couldn’t serve the breakfast buffet in front he morning. And can’t walking the garden…

Not good. The hotel in overall not well maintained. Foods spread is limited and foods quality not high.

Historical and location

No open window. Room is too dark. Old style. TV is small and not much channels. Food is expensive and not up to the price; not good.

Staying at Dalat Palace felt like stepping back in time! The rooms are spacious and full of vintage charm. The location made it easy to explore the city.

I like the setting and the architecture of the building.

I didn’t like it that the shutters with screens did not close properly and had holes in them. We were there for a week and were bitten by mosquitos every day. The hot water for showering was intermittent. The balcony furniture was rusty and did not have cushions.

This is a very special hotel dedicated to the classics French Renaissance design. Magnificent views of the lake and surrounding mountains. We enjoyed our 2-day stay.

Very very dirty moldy showers. They reuse disposable slippers. I requested a new one and they brought up another used one with visible foot imprints. No way is this property 5 stars.

The suite is large and the view is gorgeous. The staff is very attentive and courteous. Food buffet needs more selection. Tea time service needs to be more attentive. Front desk needs to carry small changes in case customers need money for tips. Over all it’s a very unique antique hotel. Make you feel like a king for a day

今年除夕在这家百年酒店度过。曾经的索菲特宫殿酒店，和北京饭店诺金一样曾是雅高麾下的历史遗产酒店，后被收入本土品牌，保养的却比北诺好太多了，套房里陈列了不少19世纪的古董，连房间钥匙都是20世纪初英国制造的原件 这次入住的是Junior Suite，尽管名字如此低调，但却是次顶级套房，总共只有四间。位于二层的两间均设有露台，一间为湖景，一间为塔景，三楼的两间没有露台，且酒店没有电梯，建议提前邮件沟通要二层的房间 服务中规中矩，礼宾蛮热情的，主动提行李。前台比较公式化，早餐厅服务员不错，下午茶餐厅的服务有待提高。餐饮方面正餐不推荐，又贵又难吃。下午茶坐在露台连廊或法式花园里喝喝茶氛围蛮好，但不要对吃的有任何期待。早餐品种非常少，和国内的全季差不多，但味道ok 总体我给这家酒店打8.7/10分。无疑是大叻最奢华、最值得入住的酒店

외관이 아름답고 고풍스러운 곳이라 좋았습니다. 아침에 일찍 산책하는 정원도 아름답고 식당도 좋았습니다. 단지, 1922년 지은 귀족 별장을 리모델링해서 고풍스러움은 있었으나 전기 코드가 침대옆에 없어 핸드폰 사용이 불편했고, 가장 안좋은 것은 욕실. 세면대 물이 잘 안빠지고, 샤워하면 욕조 밖으로 물이 넘쳐 바닥에 물이 흥건히 고여 미끄러움.ㅠㅠ

Many stairs to climb, from the entrance to the hotel, and Lobby to our room. No lifts in the hotel. Some restaurant staff could be more attentive and cheerful especially in a 5-star hotel

The heritage part of the hotel is just incredibly fantastic giving an athmosphere of the 100 years that the hotel has been standing there in the center of DaLat with a magic view over the hotel park and lake beyond that. I did not know that there is a newly built part (2017) that I by mistake booked room/suite in, but the staff was kind to change that for a suite in the heritage wing instead. Everything was heritage feeling in the large room with a telephone from 1892 and great view! Very nice room indeed.

The breakfast was so heavily decorated that it was difficult to find what you wanted, and I gave up on finding butter to the bread, but it was fine anyhow.

This is an exceptional property that transports you through time back to the 1920's and the Colonial Period of Vietnam. I'm talking white glove service from bellman in caps and tails. Very cool experience and they try very hard to provide top-notch service. The location is walking distance to the night market which is a bit of a problem because the night market is LOUD. I can't fault the hotel for that, but we booked the priciest suites which faced the lake, but the night market is on the other side of the lake, so perhaps rooms facing the other direction would be quieter. The property could really use a swimming pool, but otherwise, it was an exceptional experience. Note that the afternoon tea and the breakfast buffet are loaded with lots of good-looking options, but most of them are disappointing when it comes to taste and texture. Great coffee drinks for the afternoon tea, though. I highly recommend trying the Dalat pizza -- not like anything else I've ever had, but we loved it and got several at the night market. And the temperature in Dalat was insanely pleasant after the heat and humidity of Ho Chi Minh City.

This was my first trip to this fine property and quite honestly, I could not imagine going to DaLat and staying anywhere else. The service was excellent, the room and the view was perfect, and the bar fixed just a wonderful Gin and Tonic. While sitting out on the expansive veranda during a soft summer rain that blew in, I felt transported back in time. I remarked to my fiance that I felt like I was in a Graham Greene novel. Just sitting there enjoying my G and T made the long trip to Vietnam worthwhile. We took advantage of the breakfast in the morning and the high tea in the evening. Everything about the hotel was just perfect. The room was great, the view was stellar, and food was wonderful. The manager, the assistant manager, and the front desk staff were all so nice and professional. The bellman were great as well. I can not thing of a single negative thing about this grand old hotel.. My only regret was that we only stayed for a couple of nights. When I return to DaLat you can be assured that I will staying at the Palace Hotel with all of its charm and elegance.
