Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Etwas außerhalb gelegen, ist die Innenstadt trotzdem in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, die Betten bequem. Ein irisches Frühstück sowie eine kleine Auswahl am Buffet bereitet einen auf den Tag vor. Vor dem Haus stehen hauseigene Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Die Innenstadt mit Castle und Pubs ist fußläufig in wenigen Gerhminuten erreichbar.
Es ist mir nichts Negatives in Erinnerung geblieben

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026La posizione era ottima, a due passi dal parco del castello di kilkenny e comunque 10 minuti a piedi dal centro. Le stanze erano pulite, letti e cuscini abbastanza comodi e il bagno ben fornito. Personale carino e gentile. Buono il rapporto qualità-prezzo. È disponibile un parcheggio esterno per i clienti.
Stanza un po' caldina, non potendo aprire più di tanto le finestre, ma disponeva di un piccolo ventilatore. La vasca del bagno era un po' stretta e risultava un po' scomoda avendo solo il soffione in alto fisso. La colazione era un po' limitata sia nel buffet che nelle bevande calde, ma su richiesta ti preparano buoni piatti caldi come i classici uova e bacon.

Pubs und Schloss / Park / Kloster (darauf kommt es ja an :-) )in der Nähe Wem das Frühstück nicht gefällt (irländisch oder continental), kann auch zur Tankstelle um die Ecke gehen. Auch dort gibt es gutes Fastfood am Morgen :-) Das sollte man mal durchaus in Erwägung ziehen. In der Pension dauert es wohl etwas länger -ich meine den Service...

Colazione irlandese preparata al momento. Il resto (es. dolce e affettati) potrebbe essere migliorato. Letti non comodissimi.

Bagno così così, non brutto ma piccolo. Purtroppo noi italiani soffriamo per la mancanza del bidet, ma nei paesi del nord Europa non si usa. Suggeriamo di offrire un altro cuscino.

La colazione è abbondante e generosa, e il personale è davvero simpatico, disponibile e cordiale. Ci siamo trovati benissimo e la consiglio assolutamente!

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Wygodny mały hotel, w świetnej lokalizacji, personel serwujący śniadania na bardzo dobrym poziomie, śniadania świeże, smaczne, obfite. Pokój z wygodnym łóżkiem, przyjemna pościel. Urządzony z starannie, z dobrych materiałów, które nie tracą z upływem czasu
Mieliśmy pokój na parterze, więc zamykaliśmy je na noc, pomimo ciepła na zewnątrz.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Von der Lage liegt es etwas abseits vom Zentrum, aber noch gut erreichbar.
Die Parkplatzsituation war sehr eng und nur mit Hilfe zu meistern. Das Fenster im Zimmer ging leider nicht auf, wodurch es sehr heiß und stickig im Zimmer war. Die Dusche ging leider nur mit heißem Wasser, keine Mischung möglich.

Il n’y avait ni climatisation ni ventilateur pour rafraîchir la chambre, alors que nous étions en pleine canicule. Il était donc assez difficile de dormir confortablement. Je comprends qu’il n’y ait pas de climatisation en Irlande, mais en période de forte chaleur, je crois qu’un bon ventilateur pour faire circuler l’air serait vraiment nécessaire!

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026La posizione della struttura e’ ottima. Si può raggiungere il centro a piedi e si trova vicino al castello. Comodo il parcheggio privato. Colazione espressa molto gradita.
Abbiamo soggiornato in un periodo particolarmente caldo e sebbene ci fosse un ventilazione in camera, durante la notte faceva caldo. Non era possibile tenere le finestre aperte in quanto la camera era al piano terra e dava sul lato della strada.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Freundlicher Empfang, kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Haus, gute Lage: Man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum, direkt gegenüber liegt ein schöner großer Park. Sehr gutes Frühstück, "full irish breakfast" wurde auf /nach Wunsch frisch zubereitet.
Die Matratzen waren uns zu weich. Außerdem war es in dem Zimmer unheimlich warm. Da sich das Fenster nur einen kleinen Spalt öffnen ließ, konnten wir Hitze leider auch nicht gut "weglüften". Insgesamt waren die Zimmer auch sehr hellhörig.

Just note that there is no elevator, so be able to carry bags up one flight of stairs. Also no AC, but there was a fan in room, which helped.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Guest House in posizione davvero fantastica, a soli 2 minuti a piedi dal Castello di Kilkenny. Si respira subito un'atmosfera casalinga e accogliente, che ci ha fatto sentire molto a nostro agio. La camera era spaziosa e confortevole, ideale per un soggiorno rilassante.
L'unico piccolo suggerimento riguarda l'assenza di un frigobar: viste le temperature di luglio, sarebbe stato molto utile avere acqua fresca sempre a disposizione. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati molto bene e la consigliamo per la posizione e l'accoglienza."

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026L'établissement est très proche du château et du centre ville, ce qui est très pratique car on peut laisser la voiture au parking et visiter à pied. Le personnel est très aimable. Le petit déjeuner très correct.
Le seul bémol c'est la chaleur dans la chambre mais l'établissement n'est pas responsable. Il faisait une chaleur exceptionnelle sur Kilkenny et notre hôte avait pris soin de mettre un ventilateur.
