Location, location , location. In the centre of town , comfortable bed and great clean new bathroom. with great water pressure. Isaac (member of staff) was a great help with cases and information. We had no problem with the digital keys and the breakfast from down stairs cafe was excellent especially the coffee.

There is no lift and no air conditioning and keyless entry which wasn’t a problem for us but maybe for others . Also no on-site parking but paid parking available near by .

Like staying in a dormitory. We were unable to do on line checking in. Young man hadn't a clue about our booking and we felt a nuisance. No warning there was no parking and had to carry case and clothes from multi storey nearby. Left without seeing a soul.

Perfect location. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful (helped carry luggage up the stairs after a long day of travel). Amazing experience.

The location is a block from Kilkenny Castle, close to restaurants, a river walk and is also close to shopping. It is an old building but everything worked well.

The cleaning crew missed a lot of dirt on the floor of the room and we found medicine on the floor as well.

Good location, nice historic building

Parking was a bit of a walk, and I didn't pay attention that there is no elevator

We stayed a single night at Berkeley House. It's conveniently located and all the various sites we wanted to take in and experience were within walking distance. Kilkenny Castle was right around the corner and there was a lovely little cafe right next door. Staff that we met were so helpful and gracious- I can't say enough good things about how friendly they were.

No A/C and no mini fridge in the room. Coming from Canada, that's standard for most hotels, but we totally understand that this isn't necessarily so across the pond, especially in older buildings. We did have a fan in our room and with the window left open, we managed to survive. Heads up- the shower floor was slippery.

Our room was so clean and tidy. The beds were so comfortable. It is perfectly located close to everything. Park your car for the day and enjoy an easy walk to everything!!!

Schönes sauberes und großzügiges Zimmer in zentraler Lage. Gleich neben gibt es ein Café la Coco. Dort gibt es die besten Scones und Pancakes ganz Irlands.

Da es ein altes Haus ist, gibt es keinen Fahrstuhl und die Treppen sind eng und ausgetreten. Das ist mit viel oder großem Gepäck etwas schwierig. Das Personal hilft netterweise und trägt die Koffer hoch.

Lovely guesthouse with distinguished atmosphere. Great bed, comfortable room, good shower. Check-in via smartphone, which was very handy. Great location.

Our room was on the second floor, and being of a certain age, they were not easy to climb at the end of a busy day.

The room and the location were really good. Better than I had expected. It's a guest house, not a hotel.

The codes to the house and the roon arrived late. I couldn't get in. Luckily a worker from the house helped and let me in. Not an easy arrival after a long ourney. (Very annoying,)

Room was big, bathroom was modern and had shampoo and conditioner! Very central. Great location. Door keys being on your phone is handy. Staff were attentive.

Plug sockets not on both sides of the bed. No Netflix on the tv even though the remote had a Netflix button.

At 1 o'clock, we had a bunch of young people coming into the hotel, banging on the front door and talking loudly, then banging on room 206 and going into the room.We could not sleep, so I told them that we were sleeping here. At 2 o'clock, they left, banging on the door. Our first night here was perfect, but the last one was awful. Hope you can chase those guys. Dus geluid overlast, de houten trapopgang muffig. Oud huis. Zou niet weten hoe je bij brand kunt ontsnappen. Geen booking.com standaard.

The room I booked was very clean indeed, good facilities too including tea/coffee in the room too. No meal plan but cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes walk from accomodation. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend to everyone.

Toilet wasn’t clean on arrival. Shower flooded. No staff available as we arrived late. Nowhere near enough privacy for a room overlooking a busy Main Street. There were blackout curtains in the bedroom, which is great, but we were in the middle of a heatwave and so had to sleep with the windows open and there was no privacy net curtain underneath (which should be a standard on a busy street.) So anyone in property across the street could see straight in. The bathroom was even worse, there was no blind or curtain in the bathroom, just transparent net. Which is ok for day time. But at night, since there was no way to switch the bathroom lights off, they came on, on a sensor which meant using toilet/ shower be seen clearly from the Main Street.

Quosam was such a pleasure to talk with. What a helpful and personable staff member. Room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Bathroom was outstanding.

Comme le personnel de l’hôtel n’est présent qu’à temps partiel et uniquement pendant la journée, il n’a pas été possible de résoudre le dysfonctionnement pendant le séjour

Excellent location near castle. If the weather had been chilly, it would have been a cozy place. The porters were fantastic and very nice. They hauled all our bags up to the top! The cafe next door makes the best scones and coffee to start your morning.

No on site help after 7pm. At 10pm when we returned to room the heavy curtain and rod 8ft in the air fell down off the corbel , the overhead lightbulb went out, and the shower flooded the floor from slow drain. All little things on their own but had to fix it all ourselves just to go to bed in very warm room due to the hot weather. No easy to find contact information for staff.

Zimmer sehr sauber, Badezimmer sehr schön, Regendusche top! Reibungsloser CheckIn mit einem elektronischen KeyCode, hat super geklappt. Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin auch super, sehr hilfsbereit. Lage top, direkt in der Nähe des Zentrum & fußläufig zum Schloss. Parkplatz im nahe gelegenen Parkhaus, ist aber kostenpflichtig.

Wir hatten das Zimmer im Dach und bei diesen Temperaturen ist es da wirklich sehr heiß. Ventilator gibt's, aber keine Klimaanlage.

I did not like that it was so hot, I could not spend time in the room. There was no fridge and I could not even have a bottle of cold water.

The air con wasn't great during this Irish heatwave. But it it's not like 25 degrees+ there is no reason not to stay here
