Das Zimmer ist für 2 Personen recht klein und es gibt zu wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Duschkabine und das WC sind hinter einer Tür untergebracht während sich das Waschbecken im Zimmer befindet. Das Haus ist alt, die Türen auch. Das Holz ist dünn und lässt jedes Geräusch durch.

Drain smell in bathroom permeated the room. Beds were old, creaky and sagged. Hotel was inaccessible for people with mobility limitations just because it is a maze filled with stairs.

Haus und Ausstattung sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Haus recht verwinkelt, etwas "dunkles" Ambiente, Preis-Leistung aus meiner Sicht nicht ganz passend im Vergleich zu unseren anderen B&Bs in Irland

The floors were cold and the apartment had traffic flow from parking lot so the roller shades made it feel like a dungeon. Top down bottom up cellular shades would be much better and radiant heat flooring or a rug would be cozier.

The location is excellent and there is free parking at the rear of the hotel. You are a short walk from shops, bars and restaurants. Kilkenny Castle is just around the corner. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not included in our booking so we paid for it. They did a gluten free Irish breakfast including sausages, which was really tasty. I have mobility issues. I was aware that there was no lift so I requested a room on the first floor, which I was given.

This is a very old building with lots of nooks and crannies. I was aware that there were no lifts. The reception is on the first floor above the bar/ restaurant area. However, I was shocked to discover that to reach my "first floor" room, I had to negotiate 2 further sets of stairs - one with 3 steps and another with 4 steps. I would suggest you discuss your mobility needs with reception before making a booking as it might not be suitable if you have mobility needs.

Gut ausgestattetes Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und großer Dusche. Ruhig in der Nacht, trotz der Lage im Zentrum. Parkplatz inklusive.

The room was basic and in desperate need of bathroom upgrades. Breakfast mediocre and coffee to order (not filter coffee) should be included. Overall felt it was bad value for money.

Etwas unsauber das gesamte Hotel. Gebrauchte Gläser standen morgens beim Frühstück noch vom Vortrag auf den Ablagen. Auf dem Boden Essensreste und auf den Stühlen Brotkrümel. Den Kaffee holten wir uns selbst, da die Bedienung scheinbar noch müde war.

Geweldig hotel in het centrum. Karakteristiek oud hotel, maar de comfortabele kamers zijn in een gebouw achter het hotel. Erg attent personeel en dankzij het glas Kilkenny zal ik nog vaak met een glimlach aan die vriendelijke mensen bij de receptie terugdenken. En er is ruime parkeergelegenheid achter het hotel

Zimmerzustand: Das Zimmer ist leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß. ​Badezimmer: Das Bad hat mich leider enttäuscht. Die Klospülung hat nicht vernünftig funktioniert und der Duschvorhang roch unangenehm, was den Gesamteindruck stark getrübt hat. Gastronomie & Service: Das inkludierte Frühstück entsprach leider überhaupt nicht den Erwartungen und war qualitativ sehr schwach. Zudem erlebten wir das Personal im Restaurantbereich als ziemlich ungeduldig und unhöflich.

Hotel was in a great location in regards to the town centre. There was ample parking, which is ideal when travelling for work. The room was modern, clean and had everything that I could've needed for my stay.

There are no negatives that I can think of.

Central location and the property had lots of character. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an extra charge but very reasonable.

Purtroppo la nostra stanza era un po’ difficile da raggiungere con le valigie e la camera avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione. Inoltre, nel nostro bagno, la doccia era rotta e aveva dei capelli: la pulizia è sicuramente da rivedere. Abbiamo apprezzato le scuse e la disponibilità dello staff. Purtroppo però, a nostro avviso, il prezzo pagato non rispecchia la qualità dell’hotel.

Emplacement central et idéal, parking gratuit à proximité de l'établissement. Grande chambre au calme. Eau chaude instantanée dans la douche avec un bon débit. Petit déjeuner typique et copieux inclus dans la formule choisie, à sélectionner impérativement.

Nous étions dans la "vieille" partie de l'établissement, on entendait les canalisations gargouiller lors de la douche de nos voisins.

Great location to get into Kilkenny and see what’s what. Whilst the property is a bit tired (it is an old building after all) the rooms did have the important working to good order - WiFi, shower, tv, decent bed. Our room did have 2 single beds rather than a double but that was not a big deal.

Lovely historic hotel, very well located to reach major Kilkenny sites. The large parking was extremely helpful, and the staff at every level was gracious and helpful. Our room, although in the newer section, was very comfortable, quiet and had a great bathroom. The dining room’s ability to accommodate dietary medical needs was deeply appreciated.

The many stairs are limiting for those with disabilities.

La struttura è suddivisa in 2 ambienti, uno storico e pittoresco, in cui si consuma la colazione, e uno nuovo. Buono spazio per posteggio.

La struttura nuova non è dotata di ascensore né di carrelli elevatori per le valige. La reception è scomoda al parcheggio.

Più che una stanza ci hanno dato un mini appartamento, ampio, con cucinotto (che non abbiamo usato, ma era dotato di tutto) e bagno enorme e finestrato. Il servizio è stato ottimo e accogliente. La colazione, ricca e varia, è servita espressa su ordinazione. L’ambiente caratteristico del bar e del ristorante era in contrasto con la camera moderna, recentemente ristrutturata e con un bagno dotato di doccia enorme e nuova. La posizione, poi, è perfetta, nel centro storico a pochi passi dal castello e dalla Butler House

La posizione ottima, in pieno centro di Kilkenny, comodo il parcheggio gratuito della struttura. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, molto buona la colazione.

Le camere della parte storica dell’albergo, situate al 1’ e 2’ piano, sono scomode da raggiungere, specie con le valigie, viste le numerose scale e l’assenza di ascensori. Inoltre le camere avrebbero bisogno di una piccola ristrutturazione.

Ended up staying at the more newly built part of the hotel, so the room was modern, big with a nice bathroom. The location is great at the centre of Kilkenny

Had a bit of an issue with the cleanliness of the first room we were shown, but we were offered an alternative. Though that wasn't a nice sight...

We have stayed there before and knew it would be quiet, comfortable and reasonably priced. The location was ideal for restaurants and pubs. Receptionists were friendly and helpful as were the staff in the bar and at breakfast.

The location was very central and convenient.

The power sockets failed during the night which was inconvenient as we could not run a CPAP machine or kettle and hairdryer.
