Staff & location.

Our room had the handicap features. But the Shower flooded big time, every shower, like the drainage level didn’t drain correctly. I think a design flaw.

Cleanliness. The staff was polite and helpful.

How close it is to CSUF and the LOVELY staff

Bed and pillows were very comfortable! Shower was okay after they changed the shower head that was broken. The pool and hot tub were very nice.

Breakfast was just okey. I would have been mad if I had to pay the $25 for it, but we fortunately had comp coupons for it.

My husband and I had a lovely time staying a week at this Marriott. The location works well for us, as we have family/ friends close by, but it’s not too far from the beach or Disney and it is a much better value than other Marriotts nearby. The front desk and housekeeping staff were great. The breakfast was delicious-Denise and Gabral gave exceptional service; they greeted us each morning with big smiles and kept our beverages full. The gym is small, but the pool area is nice with a large hot tub. The concierge lounge is just coffee and packaged snacks/ beverages - although they gave us breakfast vouchers. We loved the cookies at the front desk every night, but free coffee and water dispensers in the lobby would be nice.

I really enjoyed the pool area.

Rooms were outdated with a musty smell and very small, ac unit was very loud and right next to the bed.

We recently stayed at the Fullerton University Marriott and experienced an unexpected plumbing issue that required the hotel to shut off the water for an extended period. While this was certainly inconvenient, what truly stood out was how the staff handled the situation. I want to give a special thank you to Anthony, who was still in training, along with Amanda and Rosa. They were incredibly kind, patient, professional, and accommodating throughout the entire situation. Even though the issue was completely outside of their control, they remained calm, kept guests informed, and did everything they could to make everyone as comfortable as possible. Their positive attitudes and genuine care did not go unnoticed. I also want to recognize Jennifer, the manager, for making the decision to comp everyone’s room for one night because of the inconvenience. That level of customer service and accountability speaks volumes about how this hotel values its guests. Problems can happen anywhere, but what matters most is how they’re handled. Thanks to Jennifer, Anthony, Amanda, and Rosa, a frustrating situation was turned into an example of outstanding hospitality. They all deserve recognition for going above and beyond. Thank you for making the best of a difficult situation. We truly appreciate your hard work and exceptional customer service!

The breakfast was great! It had enough options for food. The staff from the hotel during breakfast was great and super helpful! Specially Gabriel, he was very attentive.

WE FOUND TWO COCKROACHES!!! On the very first night of our stay, we discovered a cockroach in our room. A Marriott employee came to the room and killed the cockroach. We were told that someone would come to inspect and treat the room for the pest issue, but no one ever followed up or came to address the situation. They told us that they would issue a refund for the first night. We tried to continue our stay despite how unsettling this experience was. However, on the final night of our stay, we found another cockroach in our room. This time, it was crawling next to and touching my suitcase, which made the situation even more disturbing. At that point, it became clear that the issue had not been resolved. On the two ocasions the male staff from the hotel came to our room saying things like '' where is the little guy'' - '' whe is our little friend''. Trying to make it seem that this was not a big deal! On our last nigh, he had an a very bad attitude when he came to kill the second cockroach and he was even more upset than my co workers and myself! UNACCEPTABLE!! They tried to compensate us with a refund for only the two nights out of the 5 nights of our stay.. which we haven't been refunded yet!!

Property was clean and easy to get to

Water pressure was very low in the shower and shower water took a while to get barely warm enough to take a shower.

Great experience here at the Fullerton Marriott. This hotel is one the best golden gems of the the Fullerton area. This grand hotel was opened on October 15, 1989 and is a six story 224 room palace. Last renovated in 2018 and has remained a staple in the local community. It sits directly on the southeast edge of the California State University, Fullerton campus, making it popular for university conferences, commencement weekends, athletic events, and visiting faculty. It is about 7 miles (11 km) from Disneyland, which also makes it attractive to leisure travelers. The front desk has a great staff that is one of the easiest going and helpful group you have ever met. KEVIN, was able to help me extend my stay with ease. Even though when returned from work it was 2200 he was able to extend stay. He was able to keep my rate that I got through Corperate travel program. One key factor that made the biggest differece that the hotel was almost completely booked during a couple days of my stay. He was able to make it work and was able to get me a room the week from the thrid floor with an eastern highway 57 view to a sixth floor room with a pool view, This really made the work trip more enjoyable durning my stay and when you are working fourteen days this help me decompress after work before bed. Coming in at 2230 daily he was able to kindly greet me by name, Kevin is an absolute scholar and gentleman who made the stay that much better. Bonvoy has hit a home run with one. His energy was absolutley contagitous and made the hour dinner break worth the return for a quick shower before going right back into work for another fourteen hour morning. Kevin you are Awesome thank you for making my stay at Fullerton Marroitt an absolute joy and for reensuring me that Bonvoy is the choice for me on all my travels both work and leisure. If you meet Kevin you know you are in good hands and will have an excellent stay without questions.

Staff was friendly and room was clean

Martha A did a fantastic job cleaning our room. I needed fresh towels and left for the day and when I came back the entire room was beyond spotless, and I have two teenagers. Not only that, she had found my son's student transcript somewhere and place them carefully on the bed, which he needs tomorrow for his student orientation. Thank you Martha for making our stay that much better.

I would give it 5 stars but the night I was there they had NO HOT WATER! I had to take a cold shower. Booo. Other than that it was a good hotel

The location of the hotel was perfect since our family was there for a college graduation. The entire staff was very friendly & helpful. And, we were particularly impressed with the breakfast buffet! The food was delicious & there was a very nice variety. Additionally, the servers were super nice & really made sure you had everything you needed. They were really great with the morning coffee refills! Great service!

I didn't like the $24 parking fee. And, the hotel could use some sound proofing. I stayed on the 2nd floor & it was really noisy.

I’ve been staying here with my team every year for the last several years and someone who continues to leave an impression is Gabriel with the kitchen. He is always so kind, attentive, and always has a smile on his face. Having staff like this makes it exciting to come back every year!

Hot tub and gym. Pool was okay but a little chilly even though it says heated.

Concierge was only one day and not on Friday to Saturday. This property is right next to the free way and very loud and noisy. Pool deck could use resurfacing.

The young lady that was working the desk was exemplary and helping me deal with getting the bill paid which I had accidentally done through billing.com. She emailed my county a credit card authorization form and got it filled out after two issues and eventually got the room paid in full while I was completing company training. She made the trip..

Pretty much having to bookthrough booking.com rather than call the hotel directly as a pain. The fact that there wasn’t complementary coffee throughout the day I found disturbing for the price one is paying, when most other hotels, give complementary coffee and creamer! One has to pay for the breakfast and that complementary breakfast like even some of the smaller hotels do.

I am a frequent traveler and a Marriott Titanium Elite member, so I base my hotel reviews on both brand standards and my personal experiences. I stayed one night at the Fullerton Marriott at California State University after arriving on a later flight into ONT, as I needed to be in Santa Ana early the following morning. The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway, making it a very practical choice for this type of stay. This stay happened to fall on my birthday, and the check-in experience was exceptional. The front desk associate greeted me by name and immediately wished me a happy birthday without hesitation. He was genuinely warm and welcoming and went out of his way to make the arrival special with a few thoughtful extras. It was one of the nicest and most memorable check-in experiences I have had. I was well recognized as a Titanium Elite member and received an upgrade to a suite, which was spacious and very comfortable. The room was large, well appointed, and met all expectations. The bed was comfortable, and I had no issues with noise despite the hotel’s proximity to the highway. Parking was easy, with a convenient deck that connects directly to the hotel, making arrival and departure simple. There is a concierge lounge on property. While it is somewhat small, it is nicely maintained and a pleasant space to relax. Breakfast was not served in the lounge, and I was provided with a voucher for breakfast in the restaurant. Unfortunately, due to my early departure, I was not able to enjoy breakfast during this stay. Overall, this was a truly outstanding experience driven by phenomenal customer service and strong elite recognition. The combination of convenience, comfort, and exceptional hospitality makes this a property I would absolutely stay at again.

I visited Fullerton in November and I enjoyed it very much. The hotel staff was so kind and helpful. Big thank you goes to Denise. One of the nicest person I’ve ever met. She was on a different level, kind, helpful. She made my mornings, so fun to chat with. Thank you Denise and the rest of the staff.

The staff were very friendly, especially the breakfast staff. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs.

The best thing there was the two ladies of the coffee bar, they made our mornings very happy and the front desk people also were very kind and helpfull.
