Holiday Inn Express Fullerton-Anaheim by IHG

I was surprised by how clean and nice everything was.

I stayed during a holiday so it was fully booked. Had to wait a couple of times for the elevator as it was too full to get on.

Everything was ready at 6 am , the employee that day was right on things very friendly.

Maybe some butter for the toast I didn’t see any.other than that everything was good.

The location was great and the staff was very nice and accommodating.

The A/C in the room didn’t work that well. Had it set at 70 and the room was reading at 74 but would not click on unless we lowered it to 66. Also, the housekeeper kept coming by and opened the door about 5 times during our 3 night stay and there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign to hang on the outside of the door.

Staff was rude, one of the maintenance workers was cleaning the pool and yelled up at us saying he smelled smoke, we said we smelled it but was coming from above us . He insisted it was us smoking on the balcony and said we would get charged $250 , he called the front desk , they called us but they didn’t listen to us either. Bottom line is don’t be rude to your guests!

The breakfast was very good with more choices than at other Holiday Inn's that I have stayed at. The staff was friendly and professional. The lobby was big and inviting. Rooms were nice and clean.

Loud air conditioner that you definitely had to get used to. One night I and another guest noticed the smell of natural gas in the hallway. I reported it to desk clerk. She called maintenance but said they did not smell anything. Made me a little nervous! Later the smell was gone.

To no fault of the facility we had a neighbor with dogs that started barking at 6:30am on Sunday morning and on-and-off until 7:30am. So it was difficult to get rest after 6:30am.

This location was great for anyone who is looking for shopping and supermarkets withing walking distance. It is also close to Disneyland with a shuttle. The room was clean and inviting with a mini fridge and microwave which i made use of each day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They do serve a continental breakfast which was really good . There was limited seating but you can take your food to the room as an option. As for getting around to exploring downtown LA, the Fullerton train station is about 7mins away via uber or bus .

Perfect motel for a 1 night stay to go to Disneyland after getting a good night's sleep. Used my "free" anniversary night with my IHG credit card. Location was good although no you cannot walk to Disneyland. You are walking distance to Sprouts, Target, and some small eateries, and right off the 91. Short drive to Disneyland. Each person at the front desk was nice, kind, and helpful. Parking is complimentary and we were allowed to stay parked there after checkout which was appreciated. Breakfast wasn't the best, but acceptable considering it was included with the stay. A lot of carbs and meat. The eggs weren't normal scrambled eggs but some type of patty with stuff mixed it that seemed questionable lol. Coffee though was very good. Just had a yogurt (would recommend though that they get some plain yogurt because the ones they had all had fruit or vanilla in as it's extra sugar) and a piece of fruit. The motel includes a complimentary shuttle to Disneyland and back which I took advantage of. Note if you are looking to rope drop, you will want to find another way to get there as the first shuttle is at 7:30 AM so not enough time but it worked out well for me. This is great value when you think about it as it's $40 to park at Disneyland and the more affordable motels walking distance to the park are often gross and you have to pay to park there as well. Room was clean, water pressure was good in the shower, and having a fridge was nice to have as I had some leftover food from dinner (front desk staff was kind enough to allow me to store a to go box after check out which was very much appreciated). Only suggestions I have is that management respond to email as I tried to reach them before my stay a couple of time with zero response. Also breakfast could be better for an IHG property which is normally pretty good. I'd recommend hard boiled eggs, normal scrambled eggs, and home fries which I typically see at IHG properties. All in all, would easily return and recommend to other people.

Breakfast was nice with good variety, the staff were attentive and helpful, and the location was very convenient for our plans. Overall, no complaints — everything was smooth and comfortable.

It would be much easier for international travelers to have an electric kettle in the room — I’m not sure why it’s not available in this part of the US. Some breakfast ingredients weren’t clearly labeled, which is important for people with dietary preferences. Also, the complimentary coffee machine was good every day except the last morning, when the coffee tasted and smelled off, so it might need maintenance.

The hotel was very cleanly with a 100% no smoking premises. The bathroom was very clean, and my neighbors weren’t noisy. Bonus to the employee that let us go back into our room after checking out because we forgot something! The in-room mini fridge, microwave, and keruig were also amazing, one of the main reasons we booked!

The beds were a little hard and the sheets were starting to develop holes. The wifi is only free if you join the rewards program. Also the smartwater from downstairs (smallest bottle size) was $4.50 lol.

Conveniently located down the way from Disneyland! Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable, nice solid pillow and a squishy pillow provided. Good water pressure! Carpet felt clean. Recommended and will stay here again!

Great location, great room .....

It was a good hotel when visiting Disney. Lots of food places near and easy to get in and out of.

Parking could be improved. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for free parking but at times the parking was very full as it is shared with the neighboring hotel.
