Ein in die Jahre gekommenes Mercure Hotel. Zimmer noch mit Teppich, alte Klimaanlage und das Fenster lässt sich nur kippen…

Im verlauf der vier Tage waren zwei Nächte bis morgens um 4 Uhr an Schlaf nicht zu denken . Lautes Sprechen und feiernde Gäste im hinteren Garten ( Terasse ) haben den Aufenthalt nachhaltig negativ beeinflusst . Abschließend halte ich das Restaurant für einen sehr schlechten Scherz, Schnitzel aus der Tüte , Kartoffeln aus dem Glas waren das erste und auch das letzte Mal was wir in diesem Restaurant bestellt haben . Sehr Schade und traurig für so ein Haus .

Das Frühstück hat den Aufenthalt erträglich gemacht. Gut ist Möglichkeit, die Zimmerreinigung per Hotelportal abzuwählen.

Zimmer beim Check-In nicht bezugsfertig. Wartezeit vieler Gäste über 1 Std. Haare im Badezimmer sprechen für eine oberflächliche Reinigung. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig. Man wird von jeder Zimmertür, die sich nur lautstark schließen lassen, wachgerüttelt. Auf dem Weg zum Frühstück laufen wir durch die Spalier stehenden und leider nicht gut riechenden Reinigungskräfte.

I arrived at 3 in the afternoon and was informed that my room was not ready and i would have to wait. I waited until 430 and was finally given a room then. No apologies , no courtesy. Less than friendly and welcoming attitude, just adequate service.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel wären rinige Renovationen der Standartzimmer notwendig.

WC indecoroso (vecchio e rotto), bagno non pulito in modo adeguato; colazione di scarsa qualità che non vale il costo.

Buen trato del personal, súper amables y serviciales. El desayuno variado y fresco.

La habitación sin enchufe del lado izquierdo de la cama, la tv sin apps disponibles (Sólo tv cable en Alemán), el sistema de la ducha no aplicaba ya que se salía todo el agua.

There is no telephone in the room, so you have to go down to the reception for any request; additionally, one of the rooms lacked a refrigerator. We asked for an iron right after checking in, but were told it was with another guest—a ready-made excuse that persisted until we left.

When asked for milk for bedroom I was told they couldn’t give it to me, breakfast was dear when we asked for a continental option he said yes and literally pointed to what food we could have and then kept his eye on us, I feel continental breakfast should be an option in all hotels as a bowl of cereal and OJ doesn’t warrant the full price of someone having the full breakfast

There were no english channels except news and no Netflix either. That’s very disappointing

Comfortable room with an excellent shower. Easy walk from train station and into old city. Our room was nice & quiet overlooking a small park. Tea, coffee & free mini bar with beer, soft drinks & a few nibbles. Didn't eat breakfast in this hotel but had a couple of dinners, Main meals were huge! Reception staff were very helpful.

Housekeeping Team sollte geschult werden. Sitzen im Gang rum und spielen am Handy, Sauberkeit geht so....

部屋は綺麗だった。

15時チェックインとなっていたが、18時まで3時間もフロントで待たされた。そのせいで予定をひとつキャンセルすることになった。ありえない。待たせる客にはフリードリンクチケットを渡せばいいと思っているようで、たくさんストックされていた。はっきり言って、清掃が追いついていない。15時チェックインと謳うのはほとんど詐欺。 また、１週間連泊したが、なんと一度もタオルが交換されなかった(整えて掛け直されるだけ)。使ったコップも、汚れが目立たなかったものは交換されずにそのままもとに戻されていた。

Die Lage war superschnell und gut gelegen.

The behaviour of receptionist is very poor regarding extending check out time, they should respect all guests not specific ones. Another thing is that the room service employee (girl one) didn’t respect the privacy of the room and she open the door immediately while me and my family was there inside.

駅から近かったです。治安がよさそうなところでしたので、夜、遅くても問題なさそうでした。 部屋も広くて快適でした。寝具が最高！

スリッパがあると、さらに良かったです。^_^

I was with a group for solo travellers. The hotel was a short distance from the Old Town, which is where vacationers usually want to go. The room was lovely, very clean, service was good and the breakfast was excellent.

The staff were exceptional - that was the 'stand out' for me. Breakfast was good. The location was convenient for the station and also the city centre. Grateful to have air conditioning this week!

The location is perfect! Quite at night an still close to the city center! The people working in the Hotel were very helpful and kind! Parking is good!

It’s is very old and everything feels and looks very very outdated and worn out. The bathroom wasn’t really clean with dust and hairs here and there. For the price per night it just wasn’t good enough. The restaurant is okay but I recommend to go out in the city to eat!

The hotel was in a great location about 10 minutes walk from the city center, in a quiet area. The parking possibility is a big advantage as well. Veyr clean facility, room modern, clean and tidy. Friendly personnel. My wife has milk and dairy products allergy - the personnel at breakfast was very helpful to prepare for her breakfast at wish. We will for sure come back!

Nothing to complain about. Important for us was parking, cleanness, friednliness of the staff and wilingness to help my wife with milks allergy food for breakfast. These all aspects were fulfilled.

Mercure is in a perfect location for a Salzburg holiday. We walked to most places, and if we needed to use the bus or train, the Salzburg visitor pass covered the travel which was amazing. The staff were absolutely amazing and so accommodating with any request and advice on sightseeing. The room itself was lovely, the beds were comfortable and the AC was great on the very hot days.

The only snag was not having a phone in the room to contact reception easily.

Perfect location, great breakfast and excellent service. Thanks to my Platinum status, I received a room upgrade to one with a complimentary minibar that is refilled daily. The staff were super responsive and very helpful. Mirabell Palace is just a short walk away and the bus stop is only about 200 meters from the hotel. Tip: Salzburg is currently running a promotion where one receives a free Mobility Pass for the entire duration of your stay. Be sure to ask the hotel to issue it for you. If the promotion is available during your travel dates, you won’t need to buy the regular transport pass. Email the hotel in advance so they can prepare and issue the Mobility Pass before your arrival.

The staff are very professional. We were treated very well. The terrace and breakfast experience were very positive. The bed was large and that was also a positive aspect.

There was a group of teenage americans that were a bit loud during the late hours of the night. This is not a problem in itself, but highlights a slight lack of soundproofing in the rooms. We were often in the dark in the room with our courtains shut, as the window would give direct line of sight into the bathroom door. Maybe consider having a second courtain that blocks the view but lets in the light.

The Mercure was very conveniently located, about 15 minutes walk from the old town. The rooms had every thing that one needs. Breakfast was expensive and only a buffet was available. There was no a la carter menu so you coulden't havf say, just a poached egg on toast r

We were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. However, our room was not ready at the scheduled 15:00 check-in time, and the staff could not give us a definite timeframe for when it would be. Because of this uncertainty, we lost a lot of time and were highly inconvenienced; my wife literally had to iron her clothes and get ready in the public restroom so we wouldn't miss our evening plans. While the housekeeping was top-notch, the reception management and guest coordination were surprisingly weak.

Gar nichts

Absolutely 100%satisfied with this hotel. It is just round the corner from the number 2 bus stop which takes you to the train station and the airport. It is clean and friendly. The lobby has snacks and the restaurant has lovely, reasonable priced food. The reception staff are helpful, particularly Stefan. Would definitely stay there again.

Etwas weiche Matraze.

Ein Hotel, in dem man spürt, dass Menschen gerne arbeiten. Das Team ist kompetent, durchgehend freundlich und außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit. Zimmer und Ausstattung sind hervorragend – besonders schätze ich, dass die Fenster gekippt werden können und nicht wie in vielen modernen Hotels vollständig verriegelt sind. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Und wenn beim Buffet sogar Babylätzchen bereitliegen, zeigt das eine Haltung: echte Aufmerksamkeit für Details und ein ehrliches Interesse am Wohlbefinden der Gäste. Alles in allem: top. Ich freue mich auf die nächsten Aufenthalte. Herzliche Grüße

Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich, die Lage (zu Fuß 10 Min. zur Altstadt und zum Hbf) ist topp, das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, sehr ruhig und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist reichlich und abwechslungsreich.

Das WC im Bad ist sehr in die Ecke "gequetscht". Beim Frühstück wäre etwas mehr frisches, unterschiedliches Obst toll!

Location and staff and cleanliness

Very comfortable bed. Room was a good size with good lighting. Staff were lovely and helpful. There is a bar area and restaurant and breakfast was very good with lots of options. You can buy drinks and snacks at a self serve area in the foyer.

Location is a short bus journey from the centre but the hotel issues free city transport passes so this was not a problem.

The pillows were too soft. Food should be replenished at breakfast.

Alles gut für eine Nacht..

Die Klima schaltete sich in der Nacht mehrmals ein obwohl fast noch Winter ist.. Das Geräusch ist ein unangenehmes Blubbern und weckte mich öfter auf.

Older bathroom

Stayed at this hotel for three days in December. Good thing about this property was that it was very close to bus, tram and railway station. While the hotel is slightly away from the city centre, it is well connected by bus and it took hardly 10 mins to reach the city centre. The room was small but cozy. The hotel was well maintained. Breakfast was decent but the spread can have more options given its an Accor group 4* hotel. Staff at reception were quite friendly. They guided us on public transport and christmas markets to see. Otherwise housekeeping service needs improvement.
