Great location, close to central city and beach front!

An extra blanket on the bed would have been a nice touch.

Nice enough hotel overall, with a comfortable bed and a decent shower. The main area that really needs some attention is the cleaning, which wasn't quite at the standard I'd expect. The reception experience was also a little disappointing. Both at check-in and check-out, the staff didn't seem particularly interested or welcoming, and I was left with the impression that I was more of an inconvenience than a guest. They may simply have been having a bad day, but a little more warmth and engagement would make a big difference. Breakfast downstairs was very good, though. There was a solid cooked selection with bacon, eggs, tomato and hash browns, along with cereals, danishes, fresh fruit and a nice orange juice. Plenty of choice and a good way to start the day. Overall, a perfectly decent place to stay with comfortable rooms and a good breakfast, but the cleaning and front-desk service could definitely be improved.

The service and accomodations were exceptional and Swiss Belhotel has become our favourite accomodations in Napier

The room is so fancy! Beautiful lighting and curtains. Comfy beds. Everything is new and really nice. At breakfast you can order hot food and there is also fruit/cereal/yogurt available.

disappointing that the restaurant was not open at night which meant we had to go out in the cold night for our dinner and the bar was never open during our stay. All that was in our fridge was milk and nothing else

Very centrally located and great parking (at a rate). Spacious room with plenty of seating.

No cutlery (except 2 teaspoons) or plates or bowls. No facilities to eat in at all. When there is no functioning (except breakfast) restaurant on site, then one would expect at least basic facilities to have a bite to eat.

there is only street parking free but not secure, there is secure parking under the building, but they do charge $15 extra

Stark and no art our soul, it’s like they have ran out of money at the end. It needs some wow factor it lacks any artistic flair and doesn’t live up to its names sack. People go to hotels not just for a bed but an experience that they can’t experience at home.

The layout, welcome at reception, the room, very quiet, very comfortable bed.

No microwave, No cutlery or plates, a coffee cup too small for anything. Thermostat on wall was preset and could not be changed. Every light bar the bed lights were all on a main switch and you could not turn 1 on, it turned every light on

The size of the rooms, the really comfy bed and especially the pillows, would love to know where they arefrom

we were staying 2 nights, and we were in room 306 which was in a small hallway with another room, and before 8.30 in the morning after our first night, the cleaners were in the room banging, vacuuming , yelling over the vacuum to talk, and the cord for the vacuum cleaner was across our doorway, so hence we had no sleep in, so that was really disappointing

Very spacious units. Great decor. Good quality fittings, curtains etc. Much nicer than most bland hotel rooms that all look the same.

Tiny little cups and saucers. Coffee mugs would have been better. Also the cleaners banging about with vacuum cleaners in the halls quite early.

No spare blanket, 2 out of the 4 pillows had stains, cannot access the safe properly due to location, no cutlery or plates and bowls, being a refrigeration mechanic i noticed the location of the aircon was going to be an issue as well as the bedroom was freezing by 4am and sleep was a struggle with jo spare blanket we had to go buy one the next morning to get a comfortable sleep. Felt as if the room did not match the photos provided to us as we only had one couch in our room and in the photos there was two.

Nice location in the centre of Napier. Decent street parking. Rooms were a very good standard and lots of space.

Pet friendly, great location

The breakfast must be the best in New Zealand. A wonderful buffet is presented each day. But as well there is the option of cooked breakfast to order. This delivers fresh, hot cooked eggs of choice with beans, hash browns, bacon mushrooms and tomatoes that are far superior to the very best hotels' buffet breakfasts we've had to date on out three week trip around the North Island!! Breakfast staff are also very welcoming and friendly. It was a delight to come to breakfast each day. The room was well equipped and of good size and the bed very comfortable.

Great central spot for a work trip. Pillows and bed are elite. Love the Nespresso in the rooms as well! Come regularly for mahi and always book in here.

Very clean, well decorated and comfortable. The room was very stylish and the whole hotel was very clean. Location is great, definitely good value for money. Staff were super friendly, check in and out was easy.

GOOD A LA CARTE BREAKFAST, SOMEWHAT ODD WITH THE CHEF BEING WAITER AND BUSSBOY TOO.

ROOM TOO COLD, RECEPTIONIST ATTENDED 3 TIMES & COULDN'T GET THE A/C TO WORK, SHE CALLED THE OWNER TWICE WHO COULDN'T BOTHER TO ATTEND. ASKED FOR A QUIET ROOM, SO OURS WAS ABOVE THE GARAGE ROLLER DOOR, THAT SOUNDED LIKE A BOEING 787 ON REVERSE THRUST EACH TIME IT WAS USED - ALL NIGHT TOO.

The view wasn’t great from our room and we had a very small window. The small bedroom in our 1 bedroom family unit, didn’t have a window or an aircon vent so door had to stay open or was very claustrophobic and the Bedside lights didn’t work.

Le personnel très souriant Hôtel face à un grand supermarché .. très pratique Plein de places pour se garer dans la rue

Dommage il manque définitivement un micro-onde soit dans la chambre soit à disposition dans le hall.

The room was amazing and it had so much room. We loved the art deco decor. The bed was super comfy.

The view was of Pak and Save and its carpark with its big bright lights at night. The breakfast was below average. The croissant I had was cold and didn't taste fresh and flakey. I had to spit it out. Coffee was not nice at all

The fact there was a curtain in the room that just showed the wall? No window? The only window in the room was a small one behind the couch that had a random pillar blocking half of it.

Beds a bit too firm for me

Absolutely loved our stay at Swiss-Belhotel Napier. The room felt very boutique and stylish, with a beautiful, classy finish throughout. The bed was huge and so comfortable. Breakfast was also a highlight. The buffet was made to order, which meant everything was fresh even coming down just before closing, such a nice touch. Everything felt modern, polished, and relaxing. Perfect spot if you’re after something a little more elevated. Would definitely stay again.

The toilet setup.. it was in quite a narrow space, which made it feel a bit cramped and less comfortable than the rest of the room. Not a deal breaker at all, but just something to note compared to how spacious and well-designed everything else was.
