ambiente muito agradavel, restaurante japones excepcional !
colchao das camas muito moles, como excesso de uso.
Ótima infraestrutura, hotel de rede, imponente, há um casino, piscinas excelentes e serviço de praia. Visual do quarto é maravilhoso.
REALMENTE FANTASTICO .
Easy to walk to all Shops and restaurants, very clean and staff was extremely friendly and helpful

Once again it was a wonderful time at the Hyatt. As usual the staff were courteous and professional. The hotel, rooms and common areas were immaculate. Time is always too short there and can’t wait for next year to go back.
Firstly, Managing such a massive resport on an island 2k miles from USA is not easy, hats off to the property Manager andall the staff who work tirelessly 24x7x365 so guests have amazing experiance. we throughly enjoyed our stay, we were welcomed with Champagne and macrons, check in was easy (a bit delayed although FHR but thats okay) and I was given a room with great view. Special thanks to Augie Tromp for organizing lot of events during the week, he is such a kind and helpful person , no wonder he is with Hyatt for 30 years. food prices at the pizza station is pricey, 24$ veggie pizza is not good, juice station is very reasonable with 8$ smoothies and juices is a steal. overall, pool, beach everyone is amazing. PS - Iost my meta glasses somewhere on the beach, and guess what they found it and i was able to get it back. 5 stars and must recomend hotel.
Enjoyed our time at the Hyatt Regency resort. The resort is beautiful, and the beach is close to the resort's pools. Our kids would jump back and forth all day between the beach and the pool. Having to reserve and pay for good beach and pool chairs was a bit of a pain, but we managed to find seats every day. Walking distance to shops and restaurants was really nice. Overall, we had an amazing time!
Everything about our stay was perfect. The place, the people and everything in between! Everyone was so happy to help with anything! Thank you!!!
Beautiful resort, large comfortable room, great view of ocean and sunset, free convenient self-parking across from hotel.
If you’re going with kids, the food options are limited unless they like steak and sushi and you’re ok with paying $40+ for a plate they’ll eat 3 bites of. Thankfully the boardwalk was great and you can easily get to more family friendly restaurants along the beach. The chair system is also flawed. There is no first come first serve availability, everything is by reservation only and you have to pick between the pool or the beach for the day. If you have pool chairs for the day, you will not be able to obtain beach chairs and vice versa and you need to reserve them weeks in advance.
This was our 19th visit to Hyatt Regency in Aruba. I normally do not write reviews but I feel compelled to rebut some of the negative reviews here on TripAdvisor. As always, we had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect. The Hyatt employees are genuine and wonderful. Every visit they teach me new phrases in Papiamento. We had 3 rooms and each one was spotless and meticulously cleaned every day. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. The offerings are plenty. Those that complain about this buffet need to have their head examined. Yokesh and all the workers at beach services are outstanding. My palapas were set up every morning. The Trankilo pool is sooooo peaceful. The grounds were spotless. The Hyatt open air lobby is island chic and OUTSTANDING. The best lobby of any any resort on the island. The Alfresco bar is fabulous. WE spent time there every evening. We do miss the Regency Club, maybe one day it will return. I can sum the Hyatt Regency by saying this. My company requires us to stay at Marriott properties for business travel. I have enough Marriott Bonvoy points to stay at Marriott in Aruba for free, but I choose to pay at the Hyatt when vacationing in Aruba. Masha Danki to all Hyatt employess. See you next year.
This Hyatt was outstanding! The Property was beautiful and had so many exciting areas to see, eat, swim and explore. One of the best Resorts I have ever stayed at. (note that the Concierge is horrible!)
This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The value you get for the quality of this hotel and its services is not comparable. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is excellent. We loved the breakfast buffet. The amenities were exceptional and easy to find and reserve. Highly recommend a stay at this Hyatt Resort.
Would definitely stay here again. We booked a last minute trip and were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed our stay. Complimentary pool and beach chairs, with advanced reservations. Pool bar for virgin daiquiri’s and Shirley temples for our kiddos were a huge hit. Availability of excursions right on the beach. Rooms were clean, spacious and the view was beautiful. I really thought our view was going to be of a parking lot or brick wall seeing as we booked it the day before but we were Able to book a resort view and could Still see the ocean. Our room was right next to the elevator which made cling and going easy and convenient. We didn’t hear any notice from that location either. They rent jeeps right in the hotel as well so if you wanted to drive to the national park, you can reserve right in the hotel. Staff was always extremely helpful and always did everything with a smile. They truly wanted you to have the best experience! I would most definitely stay here again.
Great hotel centrally located with beautiful grounds. Will come back to visit again and stay at the same resort. Highly recommend
The location and design
We have to pay to get umbrella on the beach basically you pay $ 900.00 for average room just to sleep any thing else to ask for you have to pay
Juan on the beach made our stay exceptional! He welcomed us in the morning with a smile and our chairs and towels already prepared, providing a wonderful start to the day. His attentiveness and personal touch towards our family throughout the day made us feel genuinely welcomed, at ease, and able to fully relax and enjoy our time. Juan's outstanding service greatly enhanced our vacation experience! Thank you, Juan!
A great experience as always with our stays at the Hyatt Regency Aruba. Great staff and customer service. Exceptional property and beach location. Highly recommended.
The rooms are very small and dated. The shower was dark and couldn’t get the water temperature correct. Check in was a disaster and they made us check in late. Family pools were small. House keeping didn’t come one day and each day they seemed to forget items. The grounds were nice and the location was good but that was it. For the price i was disappointed!
Experience was wonderful. Resort was super clean with lots of activities to do. No issues with reserving a seat ahead of time at pool or beach in July. Plenty of open spots.
I had high expectations for Hyatt Regency Aruba, especially given the premium price and Hyatt’s reputation. Unfortunately, this resort did not deliver the luxury experience I expected. The biggest disappointment was the room. It felt dated and in need of renovation, and it simply did not feel like a five-star resort. For the amount we paid, I expected modern accommodations with much better attention to detail. Our first impression wasn’t great either. The staff at check-in was not particularly warm or welcoming, which was surprising for a luxury property. Before arriving, I had also arranged and paid for special in-room birthday amenities for my husband’s 50th birthday. They were not set up when we arrived, which was disappointing considering I had planned everything in advance for a special occasion. The property itself is beautiful, and the beach is absolutely stunning. The location is excellent, and the grounds are well maintained. Those were definitely the highlights of our stay. Overall, however, the service and accommodations did not justify the price we paid. Hyatt Regency Aruba has an incredible location, but the guest rooms, service, and overall experience felt closer to a 3-star resort than the luxury resort it advertises itself to be. I left feeling disappointed because I expected much more from the Hyatt brand. There are many wonderful resorts in Aruba, and based on this experience, I would likely stay elsewhere on my next visit.
Just returned from a 2 week amazing experience, have been coming back to the Hyatt Regency year after year for the past 20 years. The resort is beautiful best on the Island, the team that works here will exceed your expectations they go out of their way to make sure you return by treating you like family, welcoming you home year after year!
The absolute worst hotel I have ever been to. I stayed rooms were dirty. Everything was good. was no maids. I even tried to get into the casino and they asked for my passport, but who would carry around a passport because if we carry around a passport you will lose it and not be able to get back into the United States. I would never stay at this hotel again. this genuinely ruined my experience for Aruba if you want to have a good time in Aruba, do not stay here. Used to be such a good hotel until they ruined it, sad…. I would give 0 stars if I could.
This is the fifth or sixth year. The group is staying at this hotel this time we stayed for close to 24 or 25 nights. It’s amazingas always. The staff makes you feel at home. The food is amazing. The Kosher restaurant is amazing. All the bars are amazing. There’s nothing bad I could say about this hotel. Everyone goes over beyond it’s exceptional. The location is incredible. Everything is just perfect. Every year weadd more days.
Ubicación e instalaciones
Terrible service , 3rd floor little place next to the check in/out area where you can “buy coffee,a drink” the have no service what’s so ever. Nobody is there and the staff is extra rude. I do not recommend this terrible hotel whatsoever
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Returning to Hyatt Aruba for Decades – A Resort We Love and Continue to Call Our Home Away From Home My husband and I have been coming to the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort, Spa & Casino since the day it first opened its doors. We have returned almost every year ever since, and after so many years, this beautiful resort truly feels like our home away from home. We have celebrated special occasions here, made lifelong memories, and watched the resort evolve over the decades. Since the change in ownership, we have noticed many positive improvements. The resort is more organized, operations are smoother, and it is evident that management has worked hard to elevate the overall guest experience. Those efforts deserve to be recognized and appreciated. One suggestion we sincerely hope management will consider is the beach palapa reservation system. We appreciate being able to reserve a palapa, but requiring guests to physically check in before 9:00 a.m. or lose the reservation completely defeats the purpose of making one. We come to Aruba to relax, sleep in, and enjoy our vacation—not to set an alarm clock every morning. Personally, I would gladly pay a reasonable fee to guarantee my reserved palapa rather than have to wake up early just to keep something I have already reserved. I truly believe this would create a much more relaxing and enjoyable experience for everyone. Unfortunately, this vacation was overshadowed by what was, without question, the worst customer service experience we have ever had in all the years we have been visiting Hyatt Aruba. Before going to the beach, we spoke with one of the managers, who specifically instructed us that we could complete our check-in at the pool. We followed those instructions exactly. However, every time we approached Magdalena, the pool attendant, to check in, she was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help. Without even listening to what we were saying, she repeatedly told us, “Go directly to your palapa.” Trusting her instructions, we went to our assigned palapa. When we arrived, the beach attendant informed us that we could not use the palapa until we had checked in first. It immediately became clear that Magdalena was refusing to follow both the established procedure and the instructions that management had given us. Instead of simply checking us in, as the manager had directed, she repeatedly refused to do so and sent us away. When we calmly explained that the manager herself had instructed us to check in with her at the pool, her attitude became even worse. Rather than acknowledging the situation or following her manager’s instructions, she became aggressive, raised her voice, spoke to us in a disrespectful and condescending manner, and publicly embarrassed my husband and me in front of other guests. We were treated as though we had done something wrong, when in reality we were simply following the directions given to us by Hyatt management. No guest should ever be spoken to that way, especially loyal guests who have supported this resort since it first opened. We were not asking for special treatment. We were asking an employee to follow the instructions given by her own manager. We later spoke with the managers, who came to us personally after learning what had happened. They listened carefully, apologized sincerely, and assured us that they would speak with Magdalena regarding her behavior. We truly appreciated their professionalism, empathy, and genuine concern. Unfortunately, what happened afterward was equally disappointing. Throughout the remainder of the day, every time we walked past the pool area, Magdalena continued to stare at us with obvious hostility. The repeated looks she gave us made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome for the rest of our day. Instead of feeling that the matter had truly been resolved, we left with the feeling that reporting unacceptable behavior had only made the atmosphere more uncomfortable. In more than two decades of staying at Hyatt Aruba, we have never experienced anything remotely close to this level of rudeness, disrespect, aggression, and lack of professionalism. One employee should never have the ability to ruin an entire day of a guest’s vacation or overshadow the outstanding work of so many exceptional Hyatt employees. Fortunately, people like Fanny remind us why we continue coming back year after year. Above all, we want to recognize Fanny at the Front Desk, who truly represents everything Hyatt hospitality should be. We have known Fanny for many years, and every single visit she reminds us why Hyatt Aruba has remained so special to us. She is simply extraordinary. From the moment you walk through the doors, she welcomes every guest with genuine warmth, elegance, kindness, and professionalism. She doesn’t simply check guests into a hotel—she makes them feel as though they are coming home. She remembers returning guests, takes the time to listen, anticipates their needs, and consistently goes above and beyond to make every stay unforgettable. Her kindness is sincere, her professionalism is unmatched, and her dedication to every guest is something that cannot be taught—it comes from the heart. Employees like Fanny are incredibly rare. She is the heart of Hyatt Aruba and one of its greatest assets. In an industry where exceptional hospitality makes all the difference, she sets the gold standard. Hyatt is truly fortunate to have someone of her caliber representing the resort, and we sincerely hope she receives the recognition she deserves because she is one of the main reasons loyal guests like us continue returning year after year. We would also like to recognize Cesar and Juan at the beach. They are consistently friendly, attentive, hardworking, and always willing to help with a smile. Their professionalism and positive attitude never go unnoticed, and they make every beach day even more enjoyable. One final suggestion would be for the Balashi Sushi Restaurant. The quality of the sushi is excellent, but the menu is very limited. Expanding the selection of rolls and specialty dishes would make it an even stronger dining destination within the resort. Despite this very unfortunate experience with one employee, Hyatt Aruba remains one of our favorite resorts in the Caribbean. We continue returning because of the beautiful property, the improvements made over the years, and the incredible employees who truly understand what hospitality means—especially Fanny, Cesar, and Juan. We are sharing this review because we genuinely care about Hyatt Aruba. After decades of loyalty, we want to see it continue to be one of the finest resorts in the Caribbean. We sincerely hope management reviews this incident carefully because the behavior we experienced was completely inconsistent with Hyatt’s reputation and values. Every guest deserves to be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism. That has always been the Hyatt Aruba we know and love, and we hope it continues to be for many years to come.
Another year at the Hyatt. And it was as expected: Great! Loved our room and love the beach and pool area. The staff at the front desk helped with early check-in and getting me a fan for our room.
We stayed for 5 days, 4 nights at the Hyatt for a friends trip. The resort is gorgeous and the customer service was some of the best I have ever experienced. Shout-out to Raul at the bar. Everyone from check-in to the concierge to the restaurants was thoughtful and went above-and-beyond. As others have said, it's important to book beach / pool chairs before you arrive and to check-in for the day before 9am. The only piece of feedback I have for the hotel is that they should make it easier to navigate resort activities prior to arrival. We did an awesome scrub making class, but I didn't even know that was an option based on my research online. Also, if you keep kosher, this resort is incredible.

Rooms are horrible
This was our 5th time at the hotel and 6th time in Aruba. Such a great hotel. Very beautiful grounds. Staff very kind and attentive. Hotel very well laid out making it easy to get back and forth to rooms, beach, and pool. Enjoyed so much extended our trip by another day and a half. They do a great job of activities to break the day up to for families with young kids. Can’t wait to come back. Was here 7 nights and wish we were there longer.
We read good reviews which is why we picked this resort for our first vacation with our 3 month old babies. The pack and play did not have a base/mattress so we had to use the cribs mattress. The pack and play was also broken. The service was also very slow at all the restaurants and bars since there was only one server so for him/her to come to your table took 30-45 minutes. To even get a chair for the beach or pool you had to reserve before you got there for the complimentary chairs or pay for extra for chairs (already the cost per night is high at that point for us we should have just stayed at St. Regis) Would not reccomend.
Muy cómodo, acogedor
Great hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, pool and beach chairs system disappointing as you have to pay for the best located chairs.
This was our third stay at the Hyatt Regency Aruba, and it continues to exceed our expectations every single time! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our vacation unforgettable. A special thank you to Coral, the concierge manager, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She made everything so easy and was always happy to assist with anything we needed. We also want to recognize Edward, one of the bellmen, who was friendly, professional, and always greeted us with a smile. Team members like Coral and Edward are a big reason we keep coming back. The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is spotless and beautifully maintained, from the rooms to the pools and the lush tropical landscaping. You can tell the staff takes great pride in keeping the property pristine. One of the best parts of staying here is the location. The Hyatt Regency is right in the heart of Palm Beach, making it so easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and other attractions. We hardly needed transportation because everything was just steps away. The food throughout the resort was absolutely delightful, and we especially looked forward to breakfast at Palms each morning. The staff there are always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cheerful. They started every morning with smiles and positive energy, putting us in a great mood before we even left for the day. Aruba itself is one of the friendliest places we’ve ever visited. The people are incredibly welcoming, and it’s such a wonderful destination for families with children as well as travelers of all ages. We always felt safe, comfortable, and appreciated wherever we went. The fact that this was our third visit says it all—we keep coming back because everything about this resort is exceptional. If you’re looking for a beautiful resort with outstanding service, an unbeatable location, amazing food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the Hyatt Regency Aruba is the perfect choice. We can’t wait for our fourth visit!
This was our 3rd stay at the beautiful Hyatt Regency on Palm Beach in Aruba. I’ve read some recent reviews and have doubts that they’re actually valid. Just look and some of them only have or two actual reviews on Trip Advisor. 1 actually said that there’s a limited menu at the breakfast buffet. This couldn’t be farther from the truth as they have literally every type of fresh breakfast food available, including custom omelet, waffle and crepe stations. The staff was very attentive and they should be commended. Again, you’ll always see people cleaning and scrubbing this resort to the best of their abilities. The hotel staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and the grounds are impeccable. A special shout out to the concierge. A very wonderful woman named Coral helped us tremendously. We had somewhat medical emergency and this was handled through Coral and the on call hotel doctor with ease. She was absolutely wonderful and should be commended. Another commendation should go out to the entire housekeeping staff. Our room was absolutely clean and ready every single day. When we checked in we needed a cot and some extra pillows and linens. I guess we were lucky and had 3 housekeepers tend to our needs immediately. The only thing I would say could improve and I mentioned this before is the swim up bar. The bartenders are not usually friendly and could definitely need some personality adjustments. I realize they are usually busy but it seems like you’re actually bothering them when you try to order drinks or food. I had suggested this in the past to try and play some nice Caribbean music, but this also is only once in a while. The entire vibe at the swim up bar could be improved. I can’t say enough good things about the Hyatt Regency in Aruba. The only way to really find out is to try it yourself. To the management and staff, keep up the great work and we will be back soon! Just please oh please get these swim up bartenders to be friendlier and nicer.
Absolutely horrible. $1,300 for a room that is worth maybe $400. We had to shower one day with cold water. My wife ordered a Bloody Mary at the pool bar, she pointed out to the bartender what was missing and he brought the bottles for my wife to fix her own drink. Don’t ever stay here. Go to the Ritz!!
Very extreme experience- few things were great and few were just horrible or very poor in terms of customer service. Drunk adults in kids pool, very loud music till 11:45pm, manager hiding in the office and avoiding talking to me directly.
We had a wonderful family stay at the Hyatt! The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the city, and the rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The check-in process was a bit difficult, and one front desk staff member was quite challenging to deal with. However, the rest of our trip was fantastic. The Palms restaurant for breakfast was a major highlight, the food was great and the service extremely accommodating. We want to give a huge thanks to Eduardo and Violetta for going above and beyond to help our family out with all our needs!
I rarely write negative reviews, but I could not wait to warn others about this property. The Hyatt Regency Aruba is marketed as a five-star resort, and seeing it listed as an American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts property raised my expectations even higher. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. First impressions matter, and ours started with a very long check-in line followed by nearly 30 minutes at the front desk just to complete the check-in process. After traveling all day, there was no sense of urgency, no warm welcome, and the staff appeared completely overwhelmed and disorganized. The rooms were the biggest disappointment. They feel more like dated motel rooms than luxury resort accommodations. There is nothing about them that reflects a five-star experience. The furnishings, finishes, and overall condition are simply not what you would expect at this price point. Breakfast was another letdown. The selection and quality were mediocre at best and nowhere near what should be offered at a luxury property. The beach experience was equally frustrating. There are numerous employees whose primary job seems to be selling upgrades for premium lounge chair locations, while guests using the complimentary chairs are pushed to less desirable areas near boating activity. Charging premium rates for a beachfront resort and then making guests feel like second-class customers unless they pay even more for a decent place to sit is unacceptable. The pool experience wasn’t any better. Finding chairs was difficult, and service was practically nonexistent. During our time at the adult pool, I saw several employees standing around talking while only one server was working. She never made it to our side of the pool, so ordering food or drinks became nearly impossible. Ironically, the best part of our stay was one of the restaurants on the property. The meal was excellent and was the only aspect of the resort that met expectations. My biggest disappointment may actually be with American Express for including this property in its Fine Hotels + Resorts collection. That designation suggests an elevated luxury experience, and this resort simply does not deliver. Based on my experience, I would rate this as a three-star property, not a five-star resort. Aruba has no shortage of beautiful resorts. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere. Don’t be misled by the marketing or the Fine Hotels + Resorts designation. There are far better options on the island that provide much better value and a genuinely luxurious experience.

Great location and beach structure. Beautiful hotel!
Having to rent the pool and beach chairs for a very high price. A hotel at this level and price should offer all chairs as complementary service.
Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with the facility. We love Aruba and decided to try the Hyatt since I am a member for our family vacation. We traveled with 2 kids. The experience itself from a malfunctioning door to exit our room area hitting us multiple times, to rude employees and the facility trying to call the police on us for a supposed unpaid bill after I attempted to give them my credit card and pay during check out to the manager Aline who checked me out saying she would email me with a bill and then claiming I said was in a rush and had a taxi outside waiting for me which was untrue. I had a rental and we went to sight see after so there was no rush during checkout and I communicated after I left via email regarding the bill only to not receive a response and instead being stopped by Aruba police claiming the hotel called them about a bill. I showed the police my email of my attempt to send my card to pay invoice and explained I’m awaiting their email back but instead of sending me my bill they proceeded to call police with false claims and since the police saw the emails he told us there was no problem and allowed us in. All this while we had children. I don’t recommend to anyone, and every-time I had to step to the front desk there was a long line of guests complaining about something, getting frustrated with employees and requesting managers. I expected much more for a facility in Aruba especially for a Hyatt hotel. If you do go, drinks at the lobby bar are very good, and the pool bar is great for family and kids. The wings and their pizza at the pool bar is amazing and the waterslide is fun if you don’t come across the rude employee Cesar who was very rude to us.
Incredibly beautiful resort and the amenitites are excellent.. Food is good at the hotel and the service at the cabana's was excellent... You want for nothing at this resort, they truly take care of everything for you! A real vacation! Cannot wait to go back!
Beautiful resort, excellent staff and facilities, wonderful place for the entire family. Had a wonderful week with our grandchildren, 4 and 7. Pools and beaches were spectacular.
Exceptional! Resort was beautiful, ideally situated and the staff were helpful and friendly. Fun water activities. Exceeded my expectations
🎯 Mixed Experience: Great Location, Subpar Service and Hidden Fees Pros: * Beautiful grounds: The resort looks very nice. * Great features: There is a beautiful, large pond filled with fish. * Perfect location: It is right on the beach and surrounded by great bars and restaurants. * Good sleep: The bed itself was highly comfortable. Cons: * Terrible service: Staff members were unfriendly, unwelcoming, and unhelpful when asked questions. * Bad pillows: The pillows were highly uncomfortable and ruined the good bed. * Constant overcharging: They nickel-and-dime you for everything, adding surcharges on top of tips. * Safety hazard: The breakfast area floor is extremely slippery due to water dripping from the AC units.
It was beautiful, airy and clean. It was nice to be greeted with champagne and a macaroon. It was also nice to book a chair and umbrella by the pool/beach. Jennielyn, housekeeping service made our stay very pleasant.
It was difficult to contact the front desk by telephone. I wasn’t aware the balcony was partial (standing room only).
Stayed for our 25th Anniversary. Clean, luxury, excellent customer service, safe location, great food and drinks, and beautiful beach views from our room. Can't wait to return.
1. Staff at hotel are great. Very helpful and friendly. 2. The grounds are very well maintained and clean. 3. Lobby is very nice and provides a great meeting place. 4. Its rated a five star but has a one star gym. Its a patch work of space added together over time. Its a sweat box. Get some dehumidification in the space. 5. General/family pools are small and not very special. They are deteriorating and not worthy of five star rating. See the Hilton pools. 6. Rooms are old but decent. Great beds. Carpets are very old. 7. Location is the best. Right in the middle of the approx 3/4 mile strip. You can go right or left and find what you want. 8. Beach area is nice although commercial boat pass through inhabits a section of it. The gas and oil can be felt later in the day. 9. Cost - I cant call this a five star anymore
Lovely resort in a prime location. The rooms need a little bit of refreshing, but overall great accommodations. Friendly staff! The one major issue that I had was the resort charging for Premier seating at the huts on the beach when it is a very public beach and anyone can come and set up tents and chairs right in front of the ocean view spot that you paid for. This was super disappointing as we were not informed or in the know that that could happen so our view was completely blocked by other beach goers that were not guest at the hotel. The people and the public beach setting is not the actual problem. I think the issue is if you are a guest staying at the resort, you should not be charged for a beach hut. It should be first come first serve for reservations, and if folks are not guest of the resort, then they should be charged for a hut considerings what you paid for can be completely blocked by general beachgoers.
Beautiful property, attentive staff, outstanding food. Be sure to reserve you spots by the pool or beach - these fill up and you want to be sure to have a spot. I hope to come back for another visit!
Once again we enjoyed a beautiful stay at the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino. Special thanks to the following team members who made our visit more enjoyable: Xiomara, Junel-Front desk Maribel-Housekeeping Melanie, Marline, Fior-Trankilo pool F&B Yahir, Miguel, Raul-Alfresco & Ruinas del Mar bars Debbie, Leanna-Ruinas Del Mar restaurant Candice, Claudette, Louie, Valentina-Casino & players club
Location, staff, cleanliness, breakfast, Ruinas del Mae Restaurant, super nice!
The beach is too crowded and with motorboats and such.
My stay at the Hyatt Regency Aruba was an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable experience, and one I would gladly repeat. The highlight was the beach; absolutely beautiful, clean, and exactly what you hope for when visiting Aruba. The resort itself is just as nice, with greenery, well-maintained grounds, and a calming vibe that lets you unwind. What really stood out was the staff. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made both me and my family feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. You can tell they take pride in creating a great guest experience, and it made a meaningful difference throughout our stay. The accommodations were very good. Everything felt clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. As for the food, it was good overall; though a bit on the pricey side, which is to be expected in Aruba. While it may not fully compare to similarly priced options in the U.S., the quality was still solid and enjoyable for a resort setting. All in all, this was a wonderful, relaxing getaway. I would certainly go back.
The hotel is in a great location. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out was a breeze and our room was available early. Rooms were very clean.
We had a great vacation here! This is a wonderful family resort. We felt so safe here and our kids were able to run back and forth from the pool to the beach without any issues. The resort and rooms were very clean. The room was updated and spotless. The staff were all friendly but I never felt like they went above and beyond for anything. Not really a gripe, just an observation. The lobby is gorgeous- a beautiful place to sit and relax. We did reserve palapas and pool chairs but, even on days we didn’t we never had any issues finding chairs. The staff at the towel huts were always helpful. I would gladly return here!
Great location on Palm Beach, wonderful staff, beautiful property and first-class amenities. Excellent dining options, fantastic family and adult only pool. Great beach front with water sports onsite.
We have stayed at the Hyatt Regency Resort in Aruba many times and we have never been disappointed. It is an absolutely beautiful resort and somehow managed to be even more beautiful this time. All new furniture at all of the bars and around the pool really elevated our experience. The breakfast buffet is amazing..so many choices from savory to sweet. Food constantly being refilled. The pools and the direct access to the beach give our family members the best of both worlds. Easily accessible bars and the best servers around!! In fact the entire staff at the Hyatt are top notch.. truly kind, helpful and friendly people! Every time we visit we are welcomed like family!
The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained. The location is great as you can walk everywhere. I traveled with my 14 yo daughter, we didn't need a car at all. The staff does what they are supposed to but they make is seem like you are bothering them and the food is average. If you are looking for a quiet beach this is not the place for you. There are a lot of tours that depart right in front of the hotel. The biggest drawback is the that you have to reserve lounge chairs for the beach/pool ahead of time and you have to go secure your spot before 9am otherwise you lose it. To get a good spot at the front you will have to pay $80 per say. Unacceptable! There are complimentary seats but most of them have obstructed views or they are so far back that you can't barely see the shore. And those have to be reserved as well. Overall, we had a great time despite the few drawbacks.
Had the absolute best experience staying at this Hyatt Resort last month! Such a beautiful property and extremely well ran- from the welcome drinks, to the resort activities, to the restaurants- everything was incredible and ran like a well oiled machine! The staff was top notch and made the stay even more memorable: Augie made the raise your glass activity so much fun, Mary at the smoothie bar was always so welcoming and kind and always was smiling, Luis & Dunaby Shinsen provided fantastic service, Edna at Ruinas was so friendly and knowledgeable, and Jenrick (J) down at the beach helping with chairs truly put a smile on our faces with his kindness, positivity, and incredible work ethic. I will be thinking about this trip for years to come and hope I can return soon because it was worth every penny and we enjoyed every second! Thank you to the Hyatt team for one of the best vacations!
We really enjoyed our experience with the Hyatt Hotel and Casino. We wanted to pay for a high-quality experience for a few days, and that is exactly what we got.
Please stay away from this hotel. Just a few highlights from our stay there: no electricity, extremely unreliable wifi, rooms without housekeeping for multiple days, inattentive staff that does not care about your experience.
We always have a great stay at the Hyatt. The restaurants, bars, pools and the beach are all at your fingertips. The rooms are clean and cleaned daily without having to ask. The amenities are great and the service is top notch. We will be back next year. No complaints
We had an amazing time during our trip to Aruba at this resort. Highly recommend. I hope to be able to come back here again some day.
We loved every second of being at Hyatt Regency Aruba! It was gorgeous, clean, safe, and the staff was AMAZING!! We loved all the water activities were right on the beach and had great availability, it made planning fun so easy!! We are definitely coming back as soon as we can!!
Wonderful stay once again! You can absolutely not go wrong staying at this amazing hotel. The staff is fantastic!! Special shout out to Fannie at reception. She’s a truly wonderful person and great asset to this hotel. So many others as well, and I’m sorry for not remembering their names but the gentleman serving at the tables between the pool bar and pizza truck, BINGO guy my kids loved BINGO, Stephanie and bartenders at the bar in the evening I can go on and on! We can’t wait to return! Reserving the poolside chairs/palapas highly recommended. It’s a breeze to do online before you go. Adult pool looked great. Will visit that when we return without the kids! Lol Only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the water at the beach. It’s not as clear as I remember it and the sand has a funny texture. Nothing bad at all but just something I noticed.
Todo menos la comida
La comida costosa y no tan rica!
good location on the beach , clean , friendly staff, a map whould of been nice to get around the area , over all we had a nice trip.
Beautiful resort with excellent customer service, nice stretch of beach, and many dining options. The couple of things we needed taking care of were done quickly. Friendly staff!
Excellent value. A full five star experience from the staff to the service to the rooms and the grounds. Stacked up very favorably with The Ritz and St Regis at a better price point.
Best location, Best hotel in Aruba. We held a wedding at this hotel and it was PERFECT. Working with Farizah and her team was an absolute pleasure. She made my daughter's dream wedding become a reality.
Second time at the Hyatt resort in Aruba, I always recommend it to anyone looking to visit Aruba. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, food choices for every palate, water activities close to the resort and walking distance to the center of the hustle and bustle. Unbeatable experience. ONLY THING I must scrunch my nose at is that first and second row palapas are $80-$70 per day which I am happy to pay for, the ones in the back are complimentary first come first serve, BUT this time they offer $20 umbrella and beach lunge chair rentals that are closer to the water and could block your view. Maybe they did offer this when I first visited in 2023 but I do not recall seeing all those beach umbrellas in front of the palapas that one pays those required extra fees! I had to dig back in my pictures to make sure I was not making things up in my head. Overall, the rest of my stay was wonderful as the first time and now scrolling my calendar to see when I can come back! but this third time I may just enjoy the complimentary palapas and not pay extra again.....
Best resort on the beach. Overall experience is always great. Employee's are great and there is always something going on. Bars, restaurants, casino, sociable people. 5 star
So disappointing. This hotel is just old and tired. Nothing special about it. The beautiful picture you see of cabanas and a pool isn't even something you can access unless you pay $600 a day for a cabana. The rooms are small and old. No balconies. Shower tubs that are from the 1970's. The whole pool chair reservation system is a joke. They want you to reserve those spots 4 months in advance. Half or more of the chairs are for an extra fee (even though you are paying $100 a day in resort fees). Beach chairs are mostly available only for an additional fee. It's just felt like a money grab and caused so much chaos. We sit in a chair by the pool at 4 pm (end of the day), everything around us is empty, and someone comes over and says you can't sit here unless you pay an extra $60 per person. There is nothing special about this hotel. Stay somewhere else that was built in the last 20 years.

The Hyatt is beautiful! My family and I had a great experience here. We would stay on the resort to relax by the adult pool. We had Marline as our bartender by the pool and she made our days a 10/10!! She was so kind and had a great energy. The included breakfast was really good and fresh.
