Provider-sourced guest reviews.
I got the Tradewinds suite which comes with exclusive benefits and they are well worth it. Free food, snacks, and beverages throughout the day. Cabana, beach towels, and water floats included. It was a great value
Bathrooms could have had an exhaust fan, but other than that I have no complaints
The ocean front junior suite is a great option for 4 people as long as you get a roll away bed. It’s very spacious with a large wrap around balcony.
The beach chair/ palapa reservation system. You had to use their stupid app and palapa reserved the night before. It should be first come first served. Off season not a problem but high season would be irritating. The app to order food was glitchy as well, could not get rid of food order you put in. This is the QR code at each palapa, great concept, bad app. You cannot customize your food order.
I wasn't expecting to love this resort but I totally loved it. I figured it wouks be an average marriot but it wasn't. I felt like i was somewhere tropical from the minute I got there. The rooms were big and clean! The pool was lovely. The swim up bar great. Staff friendly and helpful. Gelato in lobby amazing and food really good! The spa was nice and the massage was great! Would definitely stay again!

We loved the Tradewinds, the staff, our room, the cleanliness, the maid service, concierge, pool, and beach set up.
The very loud DJ music.
We have been to many Caribbean islands but Aruba’s Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino has exceeded all of our expectations. We’ve stayed there for 7 night celebrating our 25 year anniversary. It was clear from day one that The resort is operated by top notch professional team who is highly dedicated to the success and best quality experience of their guests. The most gorgeous white sand beach with most serene and tranquil clear blue water lots of shade and entertainment. All the food on the property is fresh and delicious. Starting from high end steak house and ending with room service snacks all were served and prepared well and tasty. The Tradewinds Private Club is an absolute must add to the trip. The top floor gorgeous and spacious waterfront suites with wrapped around balconies featuring breathtaking views of resort and beach. A dedicated beach palapa closest to the water plus access to the adult pool and private cabanas. It also includes an access to a private lounge with five daily dining options and alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverage complementaries all day long. But the most highlight of this trip is the stuff and the service they provide. Highly professional, friendly and supportive. Special thanks to Raoul Lemmerling (General Manager), Raymond (Hotel Manager) and their assistant Verna. As well as Nik Nuñez who was with us from day one to the last with lots professional support and kindness. To all girls at the lounge Jeanmarie, Jacqueline and Gabriella. The lovely server Naila as well as Caryl-Lean, Maria, Anastacia, Edeline and Shadee. To all the beach stuff who were always attentive making sure we got everything we needed starting with cold water and all the beach activities. Thank you all for making our anniversary vacation so exceptional, enjoyable and unforgettable. We will definitely miss you and look forward to coming back again soon. Warm regards from Natalya and Oleg!
Just back from Aruba. Let's start with at the airport. At the airport after you get your luggage there is a beverage store. The prices will be cheaper here than by the stores near the hotels. Arrived at the hotel after a 20 min bus ride with majestic shuttle. A welcome drink of rum punch was offered. It was delicious. We had 2 rooms. 1 was ready the other was not. We were on the 7th fl. with an ocean and pool view. You will need your room key to access your floor every single time you go up. Although my room faced the ocean & pool. We still heard noise from the lobby area. Ear plugs are needed for light sleepers as the music goes until after 10 then you have in considered people yelling as they walked past the rooms. Room-The room was nice and cleaned. The bathroom shower is very slippery i suggest putting down a towel. It contained a mini fridge. They provide 3 water bottles per day. A lot of people brought their own cups Yeti, reusable bottles etc. Housekeeping will clean the room every 3rd day. Pool/Beach- As in everywhere you go, the pool chairs with umbrellas fill up before 7am. At that point you can still find a chair. If you sit under a palm tree you may experience a bird or iguana pooping on you. (my husband experienced this 1st hand). There is an adult only pool, and you will need to access this area with a room key unless someone leaves the door opened. The main pool has music playing and has a swim up bar. The beach has the palapas. There is an app to go on the night before to request one. If they are sold out, you can wait on the right side of the towel hut after 10am. They will then give you the palapas that no one claimed before 10am. The beach is roped off in the ocean. It is very calm no waves unless a boat goes passed. The sea floor is very muddy. There is a hut going to the right of the towel hut to rent lounge mats (free until 430. The same place will rent kayaks & paddle boards for an hr. at a time. You can bring your own floats for the ocean. Nighttime entertainment- They don't have much. Just sitting in the lobby listening to a DJ. You have the casino as well. Taxis are regulated about 15-20 dollars. If you walk into town there are more restaurants. As you walk into the town and see shopping huts, they are pricier keep waking and there are more stores further down that are cheaper. Everything is very pricey. A large cranberry juice at one store was 11.00 here in the states you would get it for 4. We ate at Ruth Chris one night, In town other nights. We went to Faro for dinner, it was just ehh. The view was amazing. We had to check out Patrizia's because we frequent the ones in NY a lot. Overall, a great trip. I strongly suggest using sunscreen a lot. The hotel should try doing like a trivia night or bingo or something at night for guests.
Currently here and first of all, they already had my name on the booking wrong because they combined my middle name and last name..and STILL spelt my last name wrong, so every time they tried to look me up in the system, they couldn't find my reservation. I actually spoke to someone from the hotel in advance before arriving asking if they could correct it, but the lady on the phone said that I was going to 'show my ID anyway so it should be fine since part of my name is in there'. Very unprofessional that they expect me to just go with them changing my name. Kind of not looking forward to this trip with a bad start.
Very nice room . Great water pressure. Clean water usage.
Our family of 3 had a great stay at the Marriott Resort & Stellaris. Our vacation was for 5 nights. I would not hesitate to book again at this location. The staff in all aspects were very helpful and accommodating. Our room was clean as was the entire resort. The location is excellent and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. There are plenty of activities on the beach. Some cost as they are run by separate vendors, but the Marriott did supply paddle boards and kayaks for free. TIP - bring your own floaties for the beach or buy one your first day there. I believe there it’s a pump at the beach hut. I bought one for $24 at the Marriott Beach Club which is right next to the Stellaris. Otherwise, it costs $10 a day to rent one from a vendor. The Marriott does have those long ones you can lay on but you only get it for an hour I believe and I did not see any in the pool. RESERVING PALAPAS - We used a palapa 2 of the 4 full days we were there. We never had an issue securing one. However, we were never actually able to reserve one for free. There are actually 4 ways you do it. First, you need to download the BON BINI! App and click on “Beach Chair Setup”. 1. You can pay to reserve the palapa you choose. This is probably the easiest way to ensure you get one. We never used this option. 2. Use the app at 5PM the day before to reserve one for free. We logged on at 5:03PM and nothing was available. 3. Use the app at 8AM the day of to reserve a palapa for free. We logged on at 8:10AM and nothing was available. 4. Stand in line at the hut near the beach the day of at 10AM. They have a list of unused palapas and will give them out on a first come basis (reserved palapas must be used by this time). This option is free. This is what I ended you doing with no issue securing a palapa close to the water. I was in line with maybe 10 other people and pretty sure everyone secured a palapa. The staff started assigning palapas promptly at 10AM and got through the line very quickly. Beach staff set up the chairs. POOL There are two pools. One is the adult pool that closed at 7AM. This was relatively quiet and not crowded. I believe the main pool closes later (check the time). Both pools were well maintained and had bars. Never had an issue getting drinks. The main pool has a swim up bar whereas the adult pool the bar is separate. Watch for happy hour where you can get 2 for 1 drinks. The one day we wanted to sit by the pool I walked down around 10:30AM and had no issue finding chairs for the 3 of us. In fact, any day we walked to the pool there were chairs available. The staff was quick to point us to open chairs and setup up umbrellas where available (there needs to be a spot on the ground for the umbrella). RESTAURANTS This Marriott has several restaurants to choose from that were all excellent. We didn’t do the Ruth’s Chris since we live 5 minutes from one back in the states. We ate lunch everyday at the Waves Bar and Grill as it was very convenient and tables were always available. Mercat was excellent our first night there. They also have a dining experience on the beach and in the lobby. We did not do those but I would not hesitate the next time we return. The reality is the Marriott is in a great location and within very easy walking distance to many dining options. We wanted to try a few other options off site as well. CAR RENTAL Hertz is on site and car rental was very easy. We were able to secure a car for the day to explore the island, EXCURSIONS We booked a UTV tour ourselves. But, there was plenty off information on site as to what tours were available. Most of the tours pick you up at the hotel. SNORKELING You can’t really snorkel off the beach as sand is getting kicked up from everyone else. You need to book an excursion to snorkel. We did use our car rental to drive to some spots close by. TIP - some spots you need water shoes due to rocks. Overall, that was a nice relaxing stay with no stress (which is what we all need!). Would definitely go back and highly recommend.
This is a great place to stay in Aruba. The property was clean and well maintained. There are plenty of restaurants in the hotel as well as within walking distance nearby. The beach is gorgeous, and you can reserve beach chairs & palapas daily at 5pm for the following day free of charge. This is a random assignment, but you can also pay $30 if you want to pick a spot. It’s easy to grab a pool seat at the main pool before about 9-10 am, but after that it can be a bit tough. I would highly recommend staying here and feel confident we will be back again in the future!
We absolutely love the Marriott Stellaris in Aruba! It truly is our favorite place on earth. Our most recent visit was just as wonderful as our very first. What makes this resort so special? Without a doubt, it’s the exceptional hospitality and genuine kindness of the staff. Beverly Morris is nothing short of AMAZING! She is always a pleasure to see and work with. If she had a fan club, we’d be the first to sign up. We also always look forward to seeing Ludwig and Arsenio. They are consistently warm, friendly, and make every visit even more enjoyable. This trip, we had the pleasure of meeting Charles Barran, who was professional, attentive, and excellent at his job. We also met Mergy, whose work ethic truly stood out. She worked tirelessly on the beach all day with a smile on her face. After all these years, she still hustles like it’s her very first day. She is an incredible asset to your team. Our newly renovated room was beautiful and had a wonderful view. While we felt the food isn’t quite as exceptional as it was 11 years ago, it’s still very good. We also love the convenience of having the casino right on the property, and it was easy to find chairs on the beach every day. Once again, we had a relaxing, memorable vacation. We will definitely be back soon and will always have a special place in our hearts for this property. We highly recommend the Marriott Stellaris to anyone visiting Aruba!
Such an awesome hotel for a family with teens. Rooms are big and clean, cleanliness from the rooms to the amenities are top notch, atmosphere was warm and inviting. All the staff were amazing, one in particular was amazing Ryan our waiter he was one of the best we have ever meet. The hotel is close by lots of food places and easy to get back and forth. Thank you Marriott Stellaris for making our family vacation memorable!
This morning we were invited by family to have a brunch in this huge hotel complex. The restaurant has a spacious air-conditioned inside section, and a smaller but more cosy and tropical looking outside section with a view on the green palm trees, white sand and blue sea, really a bonus. The brunch delivers a very extensive variety, from salads, seafood, pastry and snacks to tapas, soups, fruit and pancakes, very welcoming assorted, and really mouthwatering! I went for the breaded shrimps, sausages, beef kroket, different cheese (from brie to manchego) and chorizo, scrambled eggs, and finally dessert with cheesecake, flan, brownies and tiramisu, wow! The service is very good and the prices according to the food. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel - lobby and service are impressive. Our Governor's suite was amazing. Pool is not huge but the shape makes it feel more expansive. Seating varies from shade to sun - you have to get out there early to secure your chairs. One thing we noticed is that they do not clean the pool area very often or well. Often there are food, plates, cups, towels, etc left to sit out for long periods of time. Same with the beach. If you want a palapa - reserve early. Restaurants are nice - sushi in the lobby was amazing! Overall we had a wonderful experience and the location was great.
I stayed 2 years ago at the Ritz Carlton next to the Marriott but the seats on the beach are very close together there and their pool is not very big so this year I decided to stay at the Marriott since for the same price as the Ritz you get the "Tradewinds" package for the same price it is advertised the extra perks are the Tradewinds lounge where breakfast lunch and dinner are available there as well as a teatime and a premium open bar as well as reserved Tradewinds parking and Tradewinds special beach area. We'll i stayed 8 nights and there are only 5 parking spots "reserved for Tradewinds" which i was never able to park in for 8 days as they were full so toss that out. The reserved beach area is tiny all the way to the right and none of the 8 days was i able to reserve a spot close to the ocean I was at least 4 or 5 rows back not worth it. And for the meals breakfast is boxed eggs they have not fresh eggs I asked and dinner is only 1 hour from 6-7pm and a small selection of what's offered and they do not refill the food so if you get there at 6:20pm we had no cheese and were told that's all they had. Also the special check in i waited 25 minutes to be checked in as they only had 1 person to check in so again it sounds good. Reserved parking, special place on the beach, 3 meals. Trust me its not worth it I would never of done it for the extra $200 - $400 a night.
I was profiled here even though I just bought food and was shopping for a dress. I would avoid this place when returning. No one wants to be uncomfortable when on vacation.
I can never say enough about this amazing hotel and casino. No matter how many times I’ve visited, each time supersedes the last time. One would think that after 28 visits to Aruba, I would get tired of being there but no way. I anticipate and look forward to the next visit right after I leave. There is so much to be said about the hotel itself. Polite, accommodating, welcoming and professional staff. Clean, comfortable, beautifully appointed rooms. Every place to eat was very good. Ruth Chris was amazing. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Veronica Ruiz. She went way over and above to make sure that we had the very best experience and the most enjoyable vacation. I absolutely must write a review for the casino, the experience was outstanding. Jeffery Cores, Raymond, Rayleen, Rosinny, and Visia are top notch. I recommend this place to everyone that I come in contact with and suggest that they stay here and if they can try to meet these amazing people that truly want to help you have an awesome experience while there.
Another amazing experience. This was our 3rd time visiting Aruba, and we have always stayed at the same hotel. However, this is the first time bringing our daughter. We again were upgraded to a beautiful pool/ocean view. The rooms were recently updated and stunning. I personally had zero issues with the app and getting chairs close to the beach or pool daily. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful even making towel animals on our chairs when setting us up. The breakfast was amazing, and the included mimosas were delicious. We keep saying we want to try other areas of Aruba, but this hotel is our favorite and we will just have to keep traveling to the other areas because we will always stay here.
Location good
Room service steals, your money if you leave it in the room
The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is a family-friendly destination that offers a variety of amenities to satisfy different preferences. The casino provides a decent gaming experience, and the lively atmosphere contributes to an entertaining stay. One of the resort's key advantages is its location next to the Ritz Carlton Hotel, giving guests access to one of the best beaches on the island. The beach features inviting water and flat sand that extends far into the ocean, making it a pleasant spot for relaxation or family activities. Guests are welcomed with a complimentary drink, which adds a nice touch to the check-in experience. For those with Platinum status, there are several perks available that can enhance your stay. Overall, the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino has something for everyone and is a solid option for families looking to enjoy a variety of activities while visiting Aruba.
Very family friendly and all the staff were great and everyone greeted you.
The Marriott Stelaris is right next to the Ritz Carlton and away from most of the crowds further down the beach. The pools are very nice and the hotel bar have a great happy hour and wonderful sushi bar for a quick lunch stop in.
This stay was very nice. We had the Tradewinds (TW) oceanview package, which included meals and included drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The resort was lovely. The views were spectacular. Our room overlooked the pool and just beyond, the ocean. Sunsets and sunrises were especially beautiful. The room was nicely appointed--beds comfortable and double sinks were a nice addition and clean. The food, I thought, was tasty and better than your average resort food for the most part. Staff were friendly and accommodating. As a claustrophobic, I was worried about the elevators. They were glass (which helped a lot) that faced outside and fast. I didn't take the stairs but they seemed to be open. I only saw 2 people use them while there. It was fairly easy to get a palapa but you did have to have a fast trigger finger to reserve in the morning. The TW side may have been easier though. There was music every night that lasted until 10 pm. It wasn't a bother to me. The adults side of the pool for TW rooms was definitely more of a laidback vibe. The regular pool was way more lively. I stayed more on the regular side. Walking back from Oranjestad, there was a path of all the hotels. It was probably nicer views on the Hilton side but the Stellaris was still a great stay. There are fewer nightlife options without taking a cab. I wished I learned of this pathway linking the hotels earlier because I would have likely party hopped sooner. Aruba is windy. Location aside--I guess remembering my geography would have reminded me of this but I wasn't prepared for the wind. But the wind helped the temps stay very manageable. I anticipated hotter weather and it wasn't. As for the hotel, it was a nice stay for a girls trip.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Stay at the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family vacation to Aruba was absolutely amazing, and a huge part of that experience was thanks to Varun and Ronie. From the moment we arrived, they provided outstanding customer service and made us feel truly welcomed and appreciated. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail helped make our trip unforgettable. The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino exceeded our expectations in every way. The location was perfect, the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The entire resort was well maintained, the noise level was peaceful, and the amenities added so much to our overall experience. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and accommodating. One of the things we loved most was the convenience of the location. The main street was within walking distance from the hotel, which made it easy for us to explore the area and enjoy the island. We were also able to visit and view other Marriott properties located right next door. Most of the restaurants we dined at were within walking distance as well, making everything feel convenient, safe, and enjoyable for our family. What stood out most was the exceptional level of service we received from Varun and Ronie. They went above and beyond to ensure our family had a wonderful time during our stay. Their hospitality was so genuine that they even invited our family to return for New Year’s — and we are already looking into booking rooms now because of how much we enjoyed our experience. Thank you again, Varun and Ronie, for helping create such special memories for our family. We truly cannot wait to return! The Brown Family/Savannah, GA
We want to recognize the staff at the Stellaris Lobby Bar. Over a two-week period, we observed them work under pressure during busy periods, always providing great, friendly service. They handled difficult customers professionally and they never overreacted to these few problem guests. We especially want to recognize Jayna, Yokasta, Sandra, and Alex. They are the best...always welcoming, personable, and provide great service. Looking forward to seeing them next year.
Head straight to the front desk upon check in and look for Candy! Candy welcomed us to the island, as if we were returning home. Our room was (booked) Ocean view, she was so pleasant it set the trend for our stay at this property. Once here and checked in with enjoyed a no wrist band type of relaxation. This property is between the Ritz and timeshares. The beach is beautiful and it’s relaxing.
This is the perfect place if you're looking to enjoy both a beautiful beach setting and a lively nightlife scene. Everything is conveniently located, with a shopping center just a short walk away offering a great variety of restaurants and dining options. The Marriott itself is fun, clean, and comfortable, with an amazing staff that truly makes you feel welcome. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond, greeting us with a refreshing cocktail and helping us plan excursions that let us experience Aruba in a way that was both relaxing and adventurous. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. A special thank you to Zuneida, Chanyn, and Victor for their exceptional hospitality. They made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived and went out of their way to ensure everything was taken care of throughout our stay. Their kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to help made our vacation completely stress-free and even more enjoyable.
Ótimo quarto Restaurantes excelentes Funcionários muito bons
The Aruba Marriott Stellaris exceeded every expectation and is easily one of the best (actual) Marriott properties we've ever visited. As someone who travels weekly and stays at Marriott properties all over the world, that is not something I say lightly. The newly renovated rooms are absolutely beautiful - modern, spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The entire property feels fresh, updated, and exceptionally well maintained. We also loved the pool area. The size, energy, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere were outstanding. Combined with the resort's expansive beachfront, it created the perfect balance of relaxation and fun. Having walked much of Palm Beach and visited several neighboring properties, including the Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis, I would argue the Marriott Stellaris offers the best overall combination of beach, pool, atmosphere, and energy on the strip. The location is fantastic, the casino is a huge bonus, and having it right in the resort— with complimentary drinks while playing — made evenings especially enjoyable. Everything about the property made it easy to settle in and enjoy our vacation. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the service. A special thank you to Ludwig from Guest Services, who essentially became our personal vacation planner for the week. He helped us with restaurant recommendations, dinner reservations, activity planning, and multiple itinerary changes throughout our stay. Every interaction was met with enthusiasm, kindness, and genuine care. Ludwig has an incredible ability to make guests feel valued, and somehow made us feel like family in just five short days. We would also like to recognize Candy at the front desk, who went above and beyond to help us secure a fantastic room. Her warmth, professionalism, and willingness to help set the tone for an amazing stay from day one. The resort itself is exceptional, but people like Ludwig and Candy are what make guests want to return. We cannot recommend the Aruba Marriott Stellaris highly enough and will absolutely be back.
Just spent 5 days enjoying this fabulous resort! First off, trade-wind package IS A MUST! Food was excellent as was the service everywhere on this resort. Room was always super clean and staff were so friendly and very accommodating everywhere on the property. Reserved a palapa on the beach every day which was so nice and relaxing. Pool was clean and the report and beach were gorgeous! Overall it was an excellent vacation and we will come back and stay here again. Why not 5 stars? The bed and linens were not up to the usual Marriott quality we have experienced elsewhere. The bed was hard and pillows were flat and so bad. Bed linens were not soft. Next time I will have to bring my own pillows. For the price, I expected better bedding, however, don’t let this deter you as we will return and highly recommend this resort!!!
Our 40th wedding anniversary stay at the Marriott stellaris was amazing, beautiful ocean view and comfortable accommodation, the property is well maintained and the staff was very welcoming and helpful , the location has a lot to offer , palm beach is beautiful and has many options for dinner and night life , the excursion are near by and a must, especially the pirate sunset cruise , what a party , great staff and a nice group from all over ,met some really kind honeymooners and partied after with cigars and drinks by the beach , our only let down was the ocean floor at the Marriott location was slimy and there was a found odor appt from accumulated seaweed near an inlet , we had to walk 15 to 20 min near Riu resort to enjoy the ocean aside from that the pool was pleasant with a DJ and swim up bar , good service, people were friendly and always had a spot to relax ,
I like that it was super clean. They had amenities in the spa was great. The gym was great the casino. The beach was wonderful. The bar outside is great.
The staff that works at the Starbucks they’re horrible. They don’t listen. They mess up your order and they have a nasty attitude.
Location
Enfim, fica a lição. Para viajar com bebê, prefiro mil vezes os resorts no Brasil.
Very nice pool area and beach area. Attentive front desk agents. The excursion desk agents are top notch and they definitely made our stay on the island much more worth it. The swim up bar was great for happy hour.
The. Room, bathroom closer were spacious and clean. The Tradewinds dining room food was mostly very good. The option of the adult pool was great and the beach was beautiful. Will definitely come again.
Like I mentioned the food at Tradewinds was very good with a few exceptions but that is just my preference for some of the selections.
BEACH, ROOM
We spent 7 days here on the 8th floor as part of our Tradewinds designation. Honestly, I chose Tradewinds simply because they offered breakfast and the room price was comparable to The Ritz next door which did not include the breakfast. Check in is at a separate location for Tradewinds and was quick. We arrived before the 4 pm check in so were given access to the facility until we received our key. The room was ready by 4pm. The pro's: room updated and clean with beautiful balcony looking out over the pool and ocean, basically Tradewinds is an all inclusive option as you get a delicious breakfast buffet, lunch, afternoon snacks, light supper entrees with happy hour from 6-9pm. The special drink selections varied every night from Espresso Martini, Cosmos, Margaritas, Mojitos and were prepared by staff that went over and above as far as we are concerned with their friendliness and customer service. We would like to shout out Jeanma and Edeline and Nalia. Food was hot and fresh, always well stocked and my husband said the cold calamari salad was the best he has ever eaten. Beverages - hot and cold are available all day. Forget the coffeemaker in the room - they have coffee machine that prepares latte's, cappucinos, mokachinnos, espresso etc at the touch of a button. Enrique and Sylvia were the attendants for the Tradewind chairs and they were both nice to speak to and deal with for the week. We would be offered frozen cloths to refresh ourselves midday which was a nice relief from the beautiful Aruba weather. For the con's": Tradewinds has a dedicated area where you take all your meals which doesn't have the best of view but certainly did not stop us from frequenting it. The Tradewinds have designated area of palapas to the right of the beach. You need to download the Bon Bini app in order to get a chance at a free palapa reservation. Makes sense so that you aren't having to drag yourself down to the beach at the crack of dawn to get one. However, you must set your alarm to be ready promptly at 8 am in order to get on the app and quickly maneuver through the questions in order to get one of the free palapas. Within 2 minutes after 8 am they are all reserved. Now the issue is that there must be over 40 rooms for Tradewinds and I believe 23 designated palapas. Consequently if you are late to the app or not quick to select you will find yourself without one. You can purchase a palapa if you desire in advance for $30 per day if you so desire. However I was of the mindset that I am being charged a daily $69 resort fee - I don't want to pay extra for a palapa! There are not many bathroom facilities around the pool or beach. Lastly, the water at the beach was somewhat cloudy and the sand underfoot was extremely squishy which prevented me from going in the ocean as much as I might have if it were a sandier bottom. The weather was beautiful each and every day. I might explore another hotel simply for a better ocean beach experience.
This was our 14th stay at this Hotel. I guess we like it- lol. First time seeing the Renovations. Wow! The rooms look amazing! New and brighter - lighter color floors and furniture. We do Tradewinds Level so are in an Ocean View room on the top floor. The weather seemed a tad warmer as we typically come in March because there was not as much of a breeze. So we spent more time in the water and came home with gorgeous tans We enjoyed listening to Amy Sorinio in the Lobby on Tuesdays & Fridays. The Tradewinds Lounge is very convenient and easy- my only criticism was the dinner hour food was not as good as last year. The staff- Jackie, Jama & Gabriella take very good care of us. I was on a ‘barracuda hunt’ and Jackie called around for me to find the catch of a the day- we ended up at Fisherman’s Hut twice and were not disappointed. We are so happy with the private Towel Hut and private part of the beach. The chaise lounges are so well padded and comfy. Enrique & Sylvia are amazing- kind, patient and just wonderful. We did rent a Cabana one day at the Adult Pool for a change of pace-overpriced but we were onvacation so what the heck We love the Casino- we are slot people and no complaints- I must mention a very important person who makes each trip better than the last…….Verna Dijkoff- she is amazing and we love her So we are already thinking of our next trip here. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else
Nada
Pedi una factura y me Dijeron que no se podía, muy caro para lo Que ofrecen, no me dieron la habitación que alquile en Booking y querían compensarme con 100 dólares, como si uno estuviera mendingando, para 1000 dólares la noche muy mal
HOTEL & ROOMS: We just returned from the Aruba Marriott Stellaris on Palm Beach. Even for a Canadian dealing with the USD exchange, the price is relatively good compared to luxury all-inclusives—you get far better value here than even the Kimpton Seafire in Grand Cayman. Safety is a huge plus; there are security guards all over the beach and the boardwalk. The paved path between hotels is incredible for evening walks—the atmosphere is "vibing" and you’ll want to stay out all night. *** It was gross to see adult men twice the age of the front desk girls constantly trying to pick them up and making them visibly uncomfortable. I wanted to step in and say something at least twice. These girls are professionals being nice because they have to be—some of these guests need to realize they’d never talk to you outside of that service counter! FOOD: Limitless options! The on-site ice cream store is a must. Before 12 PM, they make fresh vegan oat pancakes with fruit/Nutella. After 12 PM, you MUST try the Dubai Chocolate, Hazelnut, and Passionfruit ice cream. We really enjoyed Mercat. In the morning, they offer a great buffet for $35 with plenty of options. At night, the space becomes a more refined restaurant. The Greek salad was very good, the margarita pizza was excellent, and the zucchini pasta was well done. The cauliflower steak with marinated cauliflower, dates, almond, and couscous was a highlight. Also amazing handcrafted pizzas at neighbouring Hadicurari. SERVICE: The Palapa reservation system (5 PM or 8 AM) is genius—no "towel wars." The beach and towel hut staff handle "high personality" guests with total grace. A huge thank you to the men dragging the Palapas and setting up loungers every night; they do a great job. The Not so Good: * **The Pool:** It was very dirty and foggy. My family members who are experienced pool professionals took one look and said the water quality was not safe/clean, so we stayed out. * **The Beach:** The bottom is slimy/sludgy (likely from boat traffic) with an algae smell. We found a better patch by the Ritz Carlton where you can walk out far without the sludge. Don't bother with goggles; you can't see your feet in knee-deep water and there are no fish.
Couldn’t wait to see the new renovations to the rooms and they didn’t disappoint. I had some issues but the Ambassador liaison Beverly help me get on track. That solar halo made my day. One of my favorite places
Ok stay. Room cleaning is only done upon request. Room overall is ok.
Me and my husband have been to Aruba a few times and always stay at the Marriott Stellaris. We usually have breakfast at Mercat. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. I usually have eggs over easy or an omlette so I can't say how the other menu items are. They seat you right away but if it is busy sometimes the wait for the food can be a while but it is worth it. It is alway hot (plates are hot too) and delicious. If you're a coffee drinker, they leave the full carafe of coffee on your table so you don't have to flag down your server for a refill. Our server was Maybel. She was the nicest person. She was very accommodating and if there was something that you didn't like that came with your meal, she was always ready to substitute for something else just to make you happy. Thank you Maybel for making our breakfasts at Mercat memorable. You're the best!
Rooms were unsatisfactory. You have to argue with people to get a chair by the pool now. When I went to the GM to complain, he was rude. When I waited until we got home and asked for his superiors, we were ignored. I don’t think they like Americans at this hotel.
Apr 2026 • Couples The Aruba Marriott Resort exceeded our expectations. We stayed on the tradewinds level and loved it! Hotel was recently renovated and looks brand new. The rooms are spacious and spotless. Our stay was greatly enhanced by our concierge, Ludwig, who went above and beyond to assist us during our first stay in Aruba. The reservation system for the palapas worked seamlessly without the need to arise at the crack of dawn to secure a spot on the beach. All beach staff were helpful, especially Sylvia who was very helpful and accommodating. Jorel, one of the lobby bartenders made great drinks, both alcohol and mocktails. One small hiccup was quickly handled and resolved by Ludwig and Tashira. Everyone we encountered was warm, friendly, and accommodating. Can’t wait to return.
Got here at 1pm, check in is 4pm, it’s 4:45 and still waiting for our room to be ready. Was told 15 minutes then 5 more minutes and still waiting. Won’t let it ruin my vacation but off to a very very poor start and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great service, plenty of amenities, close enough to shopping area and restaurants. Plenty of beach and pool chairs.
Every time we visit the Stellaris, we are treated to amazing service. The staff there is outstanding in every way. We especially appreciate Ludwig Croes and Sha-kima Arrindell. They are so friendly, fun, accommodating, and go above and beyond to make our stay memorable! We also love Nora and Martha at the gelato store. Nora is so kind and genuinely cares about how you're doing every time we see her. We get gelato every night now because we love to see them! And we are so grateful to all the women at Starbucks - Daniella, Isha, Gloria, Anna, Nelcy, Maria - They greet us with warm smiles every day and they remember our orders - we don't even have to tell them what we want. They even surprised me with a special gift on my birthday! And then there are the wonderful staff at Waves Bar and Grill who take such good care of us at the beach - always with a smile - Gabriel, Martin, Nelson, Adrian and Blanca. Amazing human beings!! We love the Stellaris and can't wait to go back in May!
Our family stayed five nights at the Marriott Resort Stellaris April 3-8. The staff at this property are very friendly and helpful. Jonathan, Daniella and Gilbert were especially helpful. We arrived early and figured that our room would not be ready for check in. Jonathan at reception was very helpful and gave us a card to show around the property showing that we were guests so we could get towels to use the pool and beach while we waited. We were celebrating our 18th anniversary and Jonathan arranged for a surprise welcome gift in our room which was very sweet and very appreciated. He also helped add our account number to our stay so we could earn points. The pool area is nice. They have daily happy hour for drinks including non alcoholic options for the kids (they loved the smoothies). It is hard to find chairs if you dont get to the pool super early. We always managed to find a couple when people were leaving. There is an app to reserve beach chairs under the palapas. You need to log on at exactly 8 a.m. both times I tried I couldnt get a reservation. But it said to check with the desk at 10 a.m. and they would reassign if there was a no show. We were able to get a palapa that way which was fine with us because we went to breakfast first. The hotel has several restaurants and a lobby bar and Star Bucks and is walking distance to several restaurants. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner all close to the hotel. We also took a cab to the mall area one night and after seeing how close it was (15 min) walked back and forth several more times for dinner and dessert. We also bought souvenirs there before leaving. The mall is a fun area with something for everyone. We rented a Jeep from Top Drive for two days. they picked us up at the hotel and it was a lot of fun having the jeep for the National Park and for beach hopping. On the morning of our departure our son woke with a fever and earache. I wanted to get him checked at urgent care to make sure he could fly. I was in line for a taxi and the security guard Gilbert was hailing cars for guests. When he learned we needed urgent care he radioed management and asked if he could drive us. He pulled around in a very nice SUV and kindly drove us straight to urgent care (10 mins away). He walked us in and explained the process and was waiting in line with me but I told him I was good and he could go. He told me to tell them to call when we were done and he would pick us up. We waited about an hour at urgent care, saw a lovely doctor who quickly prescribed what we needed and told check out to contact the hotel for us. The pharmacy was half a block down and Gilbert showed up there, again came in and explained how things worked, and then drove us back to the hotel in time for us to make our transfer to the airport. Gilbert was such a huge help. He was professional, friendly and took such great care of us. It was so nice of the Marriott to recognize we needed help to make the situation as stress free as possible. We felt very taken care of! We had a great stay : )
This is our second time at the Marriott Stellaris. We really enjoyed our stay. The palapa reservation system is no good. The system is not user friendly and according to how the beach assistants explained to us, the system only allows for one minute to make the reservation. You can’t even reserve the spot for the palapa. The system used to be better the first time we visited. However, this time around we did not like it at all and were unable to reserve a palapa using the system. One minute is just ridiculous… the food at mercat, at the lobby and at Atardi was really good. The beach was great. We hated that they close so early for food and drinks at the beach. Love the sunsets. We enjoyed the room service and appreciated cleanliness of the rooms. Pillows could be better.
Returned for the sixth time to the Aruba Marriott Stellaris and had another terrific stay. We stayed in the Tradewinds floor and the room was nicely renovated - bright, clean and comfortable. The Tradewinds personnel truly added to our experience. Jackie, Jeanmarie, Gabriella and the entire team in the lounge were terrific. Jackie reached out to us in advance of our arrival which was a nice touch and remembered us from our previous visits. It was wonderful to see Sylvia at the towel hut at the Tradewinds section of the beach. She gave us a warm welcome and she and Enrique and Javier (both who also remembered us) and others took great care of us on the beach throughout our stay. Felt very much like a home away from home! 👍🙂
La verdad todo me gustó
Nada
I spent my birthday here with my family and it was amazing! - The entire hotel is in exceptional standards. Great location, close to everything. Staff are always very helpful and friendly - I want to thank Isabella for making my whole experience wonderful, felt so special on my birthday trip. Amazing service, thank you so much xx - michelle p
First of all let me say as an Ambassador member I travel a lot . I want to give a big shout out to these individuals who make me come back more and more for their stellar customer service. From the bottom of my heart I want you to know how much I appreciate all of you for making my stay perfect each time and taking such good care of me with your kindness , attentiveness and willing to go above and beyond each time we meet . Martin. Jurstin , Oscar and the beautiful Candy who lights up the room with her beautiful smile . See you soon and thank you for treating me like family . My appreciation and gratitude always .
Great hotel with both family friendly and adult only spaces as well as great on property restaurants. The chair and cabana reservation system is a little confusing but we ultimately never had trouble finding a spot at the pool or beach. Excursions picked up directly from the hotel. We had two adults and a teen in a junior suite with a pull out bed and it was perfect. Had a beautiful wrap around balcony with spectacular sunset views.
Good: Staff were friendly, location was convenient and beach was beautiful. Pool bar was fun and happy hours were great. Liked dining at Atardi on the beach, pool food was decent. Rooms were spacious. Bad: The “free gift” is a timeshare talk. The walls of the rooms are paper thin and the people next to us had a nasty cough that we could hear as if they were coughing in our ears..at 3 in the morning and all night long. For two nights in a row. Worst sleep ever. I could also hear them doing other things as well. Also, i had requested ahead of time to be by my son and his friend in their room, gave ample notice but they were not able to accomodate. Lobby sushi restaurant is not good at all. Sushi rice felt stale and tasted bland. The bracelets were a little temperamental on the door. Location wise, it was close to other stuff, but next time would try to stay at the Hilton since there seemed to be more of a downtown area right by there
I didn’t get to actually stay at this resort but I wanted to write the review to express how badly I wanted and will make it work for next year! This resort is beautiful. So many people hanging in the lobby at the bar for cocktail hour and even during the day a hangout spot. The best espresso martini ever and the bartenders are so friendly and fun. We also loved the casino. We all agreed that our next visit as a family we will be staying here!
We have been coming here for 4 years now. It feels like home. The renovations were so nice, what a difference. The staff is so accommodating. We have our favorites. Ludwig is such a nice person, who is also so very pleasant and helpful. Jadon was beyond helpful. Glen is an asset to the company. Nick was also very helpful. Xavier, Oscar, Benny and Henel are the best. R We always love our stay, its home for us!!
The Aruba Stellaris Marriott Resort is just beautiful. Very luxurious and stellar rooms. We had a wonderful visit, very welcoming, great food and decor. I would especially like to recognize a front desk employee who made a massive difference in our stay. His name is Varum, and with kindness and professionalism, helped us sort out a booking error I had made. So grateful!
This is our second year staying at this property and it was just as good as last year. We stayed again on The Tradewinds floor and used the facilities of the Tradewinds Lounge which was excellent. What really blew us away this trip were the number of staff who remembered us from last year especially at the Tradewinds beach towel hut. We had no problem booking palappas each day. We ate at Atardi one night for dinner which was very good. Another night we ate at Mercat which wasn’t the best food compared to the excellent food in the Tradewinds lounge. Rooms have been recently remodeled and were nicely done. The only negative would be on some days the loudness of the music by main pool. I think it’s nice to have music at the pool, and there is always the quieter adult pool available. However, the volume really does not need to be that high for people to enjoy themselves. When you can clearly hear it loud inside rooms it’s time to take it down a few notches and management do need to do something about that. Regardless of the pool noise we would most definitely come back here again and recommend. The property is lovely and has the added advantage of a busy onsite casino which we tried our luck at most nights. The location is also good.
We are Marriott loyalist who always stay at Marriott so we know the brand standard. We chose stay at this hotel because they recently renovated the hotel. The renovations are almost complete and we didn’t hear any construction during our time there. They had better food options at the ocean club and the surf club next-door so it’s worth checking out because you can charge your room at these resorts. Pro: newly renovated, comfortable bed, premium linens, large bathroom and shower, gave nice upgrade to platinum Bonvoy members (booked a garden view and got an ocean view) Cons: shower pressure is weak on main shower head but sprayer is strong and the shower door is too short and not long enough to capture all the water, the service is inconsistent earlier during the week. They didn’t do an automatic turn down service but later in the week they did. You only get free continental breakfast or pay $15 surcharge for full buffet with the Platinum membership. Staff: special thanks to Glenn at check-in. He was able to reserve a palapa for the next day, which usually requires reservations the day before. During check-in, he was friendly and knowledgeable about the resort. He truly wanted to make our stay special while we were there. Other than Glenn, everyone else at the property gave lack luster service. They are better off just having tablets to order food and drinks at the pool/beach. Food: The buffet has shrunk over the years. The taste was not exceptional just status quo. The menus at the pool/beach have changed for the worse, everything seems basic and over priced. You are better off eating diner offsite. Overall, the service at the hotel has dropped drastically post pandemic. We used to visit the hotel every year since 2012. The renovation is beautiful but the lack of platinum benefits and bad service not sure if we will return.
The rooms are nice and comfortable, toilets also
Some manager was not nice,he was acting like a idiot
This was probably our 10th trip to Aruba over the New Year holiday. The vibe at the Aruba Marriott Stellaris is second to none! Everyone goes above and beyond to ensure our stay is great - especially the beach attendants. Our absolute favorite person at the resort is Vangie! She is super kind, takes good care of us and ensures things are running smoothly! It’s the perfect balance of fun, sun and relaxation!
We enjoyed our stay here for the most part. The resort is beautiful and well kept. The room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Fantastic ocean, beach and pool views. The staff everywhere was so helpful and accommodating. The location is great, as you can walk up and down the beach and get good steps in but also get to other restaurants. The food at the lounge bar and the restaurants (Atardi and Mercat) were excellent. There is something for everyone: children’s activities table, swimming pool which was a big draw for the teenagers and kids, the quieter adult-only pool area, the palapas to sit beachside. Lots of great music outside and inside. The two downsides: 1) pay attention to what room you get, as we got ours along the mezzanine that overlooks the lobby atrium which means we could hear EVERYTHING from the lobby area particularly the loud music that until late at night. If this is potentially an issue for you, you need to get a room that is away from this. 2) Marriott aggressively tries to sell timeshares. Again if you don’t bother talking to the sales desk about their “vacation plans”, you will be fine. Ultimately this is great for many. It could also be a good option if you tend to prefer more quiet. But if you want a super quiet and low key vacation, you may want to consider other options.
The Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino, is a great reason to go to Aruba.
Excellent!! Beautiful!! 5 star!! very clean, friendly amazing place to relax!! Wonderful professional staff. short ride from the airport.
We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious, bright and clean. The pool and beach areas likewise were spacious and clean. Really liked the location, we were the second to last resort on the strip, it did not feel overcrowded where we were but when we walked down the strip (ie going south) it felt overcrowded. Plenty of restaurants to walk to, and there is a little shopping and dining area also within walking distance. We were there Feb vacation week so resort was very crowded, there is an app to reserve the palaces on the beach but they booked up too fast and I had to wait in line one morning for a cancellation. Also had to get up by 7:30 each morning to get towels to reserve a chair by the pool. We did breakfast at Mercat every morning and food was decent and pricing wasn't bad for a resort. We had dinner at Atardi right on the beach 2X and it was amazing! Overall though we were very happy with our experience and would come back again.
The Hotel is newly renovated & very pretty. The Cons The rooms are nice and very clean, However the walls are so thin you can hear hear everyone around you . The room doors slam so when guests come back to their rooms you hear all the doors slamming. There is nice flooring ( no carpet) so you hear the guests above you . We had to call down to the reception area 3 times one evening, the guests above us were banging . They have a very nice adult pool , which is what we wanted , especially during. The very busy Feb school break. However you have to wait on a line at 6 am to get a seat, the gates don't open until 7 am. They didn't have enough help at the adult only pool . We ordered food and finally cancelled our order because it was taking so long. Pros The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Service was also great in the Mercat resturant during breakfast. They have a Starbuck's in the hotel if you prefer a quick drink or snack. The hotel is maintained very well , all areas are very clean. .
The Aruba Marriott Stellaris has become our home-away-from-home for many reasons. They get an A+ in staff retention- we have been seeing the same friendly faces for 10-20 years. Shout-outs to beach staff John, Enrique, Sylvia, Sugi, Javier and Carlos R. Beach servers Martin, Gabriel, Nelson, Arsenio, Aurelia and Amy. Lobby bar staff Alix, Jayna, Sandra, Romulo, Jorel, Ronald and Shyre. We get hugs from the bell staff when we arrive and depart. Just the friendliest staff top to bottom!!! The rooms were all recently renovated and the beach is wonderful, on the safest, cleanest island in the Caribbean. Love it!!!
