Amazing hotel with a great roof top bar/restaurant. The staff were super helpful and the view of the Acropolis was breathtaking. Nicely located close to shopping, restaurants and history.

Freundliches Personnal, Moderne Zimmer, sehr leckeres Frühstück. Nur 3-4 Minuten von der nächsten Metro entfernt. Eingang zur Akropolis (Südtor) knapp 6 Minuten. Wir konnten vom Hotel aus problemlos alles zu Fuß erkunden und auch regelmäßig uns im Hotel abkühlen/ausruhen durch die Lage. Unbedingt einen Abstecher zur Bar auf dem Dach machen, diese bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Akropolis. Am Ende was das Hotel für uns eine sehr gute Wahl, durch das Design mit den Ausgrabungen im Keller fühlt man sich auch wirklich als würde man in die Historie Athens bereits im Hotel eintauchen. Ein sehr schönes und eher kleineres Stadthotel mit allen Annehmlichkeiten die wir brauchten.

Eigentlich nichts... Das Frühstück ist nicht wirklich abwechslungsreich, aber ist halt immernoch ein Stadthotel und damit vollkommen in Ordnung.

Die Lage war hervorragend. Nicht mal 5 Minuten von der Metro und der Akropolis entfernt. Plaka Altstadt war auch nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Das Zimmer war zwar klein, aber sauber. Die Rooftop Bar hat einfach einen genialen Blick.

The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. The rooftop restaurant was incredible. The bed and linens were great.

The see thru bathroom with no privacy. There was a terrace listed but there was no terrace. The room was very small as was the bed Listing said soundproof windows but they were not.

Oh my! This has been one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at by far. From the staff, room, to our exquisite couples massage. Everything was excellent! If you’re looking for a relaxing stay with excellent customer service look no further!

We loved the location, which was within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. The room was very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed having drinks at the rooftop bar while taking in the beautiful views of the Acropolis. A great place to stay for exploring Athens.

Very friendly and well trained staff. Close vicinity to city center and metro station. One can easily walk into Plaka, which is a one of the nicest neighborhoods. Separate shower and toilet. Very good air conditioning. Breakfast was of good quality with nice view towards Akropolis.

Street noise. Booked a high floor (5th floor) room and even with very thick windows, noise from motorcycles and car claxons is present at street side. For people that are difficult sleepers, this is something to take into consideration.

Struttura nel centro di Atene, comoda per visitare l’acropoli e i luoghi più importanti della città. Camera spaziosa e pulita.

Ótima localização, café da manhã delicioso, funcionários atenciosos e solícitos, vista incrível da Acrópole do restaurante, ganhamos alguns brindes por ser nossa lua de mel. Incrível também o hotel estar em cima de ruínas, o que torna ainda mais interessante e imersivo.

O hotel é um pouquinho caro, se comparado a outros destinos europeus de mesmo nível, e a parte do spa é bastante cara.

Great hotel, new construction. Nice rooms, although I did not appreciate the glass wall (only half-privacy frosted!) separating the bedroom from the bathroom (!). Good blackout curtains, could hear some street noise but it became quiet outside by the time we went to sleep. Wonderful rooftop restaurant, which we enjoyed BOTH for dinner (since we were tired after arriving on a red eye flight) and for breakfast the next morning. Most of the people dining at dinner were not staying at the hotel and had come for the beautiful view of the Acropolis and the great menu. Breakfast buffet was lovely.

The only draw back is the location. This hotel is *just outside* of the main tourist area. The hotel is in a clean business district (not particularly scenic locale). Honestly, it was a reasonable 15-20 min walk into the main area, but it was HOT in August and we were tired (red eye flight), so this was an inconvenience for us. If we'd been staying longer and were well-rested it would have been only a minor drawback.

Gorgeous hotel, amazing courteous and attentive staff comfortable relaxing room, great Acropolis view and fantastic location. Walking distance to all the sights and amazing eateries.

Lovely hotel. The rooftop restaurant is simply stunning, especially at night when ghe Parthenon is lit up. We dined there every night and never got bored of the view. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

There was nothing to dislike.

My daughter is gluten intolerant and despite her pre-requesting gluten free options for breakfast the hotel was not able to cater for her requests.

Gostamos de tudo. O hotel é realmente muito bom. Quartos muitos confortáveis, camas excelentes, chuveiros também excelentes. O restaurante no rooftop é incrivel - a vista é maravilhosa e a comida também. O hotel está muito próximo da Acropole (10-15 min caminhando). O staff foi MUITO gentil e acolhedor. O serviço de transfer oferecido pelo hotel (pago à parte) foi perfeito.

10/10 !!! Ich hatte einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt. Besonders gefallen haben mir die hervorragende Lage, das sehr freundliche Personal, das Rooftop mit der schönen Aussicht und das leckere Frühstück. Mir hat einfach alles gefallen.

Ein kleiner Hinweis: In meinem Einzelzimmer (Zimmer 408) war alle paar Minuten ein Geräusch zu hören, das ich nicht einordnen konnte. Da ich Ohropax dabei hatte, war das für mich kein Problem. Wer jedoch geräuschempfindlich schläft, könnte sich daran eventuell stören.

Établissement extrêmement bien situé pour visiter Athènes à pied. Le personnel est extrêmement dévoué et accueillant.

O café da manhã começa somente às 07:00 hs. Isso prejudica os turistas com voos cedo, mesmo eles oferecendo um Box (suco, sanduiche, maça). Sugestão: começar as 06:30 hs (um café no último dia faz diferença).

Nails sticking up in floor not repaired. Only one elevator. Staff were friendly but only accommodating about half the time (would not nail down nails sticking up, no room upgrade despite staying at hotel several times)

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Athens! The location is perfect, with all the main attractions within easy walking distance. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and delicious food. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the Acropolis, especially during breakfast. This is an absolutely beautiful property. It's great place to stay if you're leaving to go on a cruise.The view from the rooftop restaurant is absolutely breathtaking. The staff went above and beyond to help us. They are extremely friendly and will help you find wherever you need to go in the city. The properties real plus is that it's within walking distance to the Acropolis, shopping, and a ton of restaurants.

We liked the location. I booked the hotel because of the view of the Acropolis from their bar/restaurant. But other than the location, I honestly can't think of anything positive to say about the place--unless we had upgraded our room to a Premium room and then we would've been in something functional and more like a budget north American hotel room.

The layout of each hotel room should be available upon booking. Had I known our bathroom was dysfunctional in its design, we might have changed rooms, or perhaps changed hotels. Our room had a separate area for the toilet, a separate area for the shower, and then the sink was in the room itself! All of it very dysfunctional--it might work for 20-year olds, but as retirees we like to have all the facilities with a counter in one room. There were no hooks to hang your housecoat or towel inside the shower area. There was one hook in the toilet area, which meant you had to walk out of the shower into the room and then into the toilet area to reach your towel--OR, lay them on the floor by the shower door! Dysfunctional. And what hotel doesn't have a movie channel for guests to check out after a long day of sight-seeing. Sometimes travellers just want to relax and watch a movie, but nothing was available. I had also communicated in depth with the staff at the hotel and the restaurant that we were celebrating our 40th anniversary there, and we were Vegans. I was assured that vegan options were available; they were, but not a great selection. When we arrived for our 40th Anniversary Dinner, the staff had placed us outside in the full sun, the odd bar where the seats are so low your arms are at shoulder height to reach for your drink. Not comfortable at all. We requested to move inside, and then when we did order what was available for us to eat, it all felt rushed. We'd order, and then two minutes later the food would arrive, as if it were all pre-prepared. We felt rushed the whole evening. Not a pleasant experience overall.

An absolutely perfect location! The hotel itself is stunning, and the staff provided exceptional service. I loved my experience so much that I actually extended my stay by an extra night before heading home. Adding to the magic of the stay was their incredibly unique spa facility, which is an absolute must-visit. The ultimate highlight, however, was the view from the rooftop bar and restaurant. Watching the sunset from there with a drink in hand became my favorite nightly ritual. Highly recommended!

Was in the best location!! About 10 mins to the acropolis, Plaka was around the corner, and the hotel was stationed right next to a central street. The hotel was built over ruins which was incredible to see. Breakfast was wonderful and you have a direct view of the acropolis from the rooftop. The staff were kind and very helpful. There is free water in the lobby. They did a good job with cleaning every day.

The room was a bit on the small side and we were only given one keycard so it was warm in the room every time we returned.

Ondanks drukke baan hoordeHet hotel was uitstekend gelegen. Hoewel het aan een drukke weg lag, was daar in de kamer helemaal niets van te merken. Het ontbijt was zeer verzorgd en uitgebreid. Het personeel was bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Het enige minpuntje was de badkamer. Er was wat weinig ruimte om je met twee personen tegelijk klaar te maken en ook onvoldoende plaats om toiletspullen neer te zetten

The hotel is fantastic, very clean with friendly staff. The room was astonishing and the food was incredible. I’m still dreaming with the breakfast, the fresh orange juice, the coffee 😋. The location is impressive and the room was vey quiet for an hotel in the city centre. I didn’t try the spa but I now regret it.

Good location away from the noise but not too far from the center

I booked a tour through the hotel, i specifically asked for someone with knowledge in Art History but they provided a standard tour guide and would not share information on their profile. The tour was OK, however at the end of the tour, the guide asked for payment in cash which i had no knowledge of, and the hotel said they were not responsible, i was annoyed that the hotel did not inform me and i was low in cash.

The Niche Hotel Athens was fine, but the standard rooms are exceptionally small and not very comfortable for two people. However, I really appreciated that the staff went out of their way to change us to a slightly larger room. The highlights of the stay were definitely the location, the rooftop restaurant, and the breakfast, all of which offer beautiful views during the morning and night. My only real disappointment was the value; despite the high price tag, it didn't quite deliver the boutique hotel experience I expected.

The standard rooms are extremely small. They are so cramped that you can't even fit or open two suitcases inside without tripping over them, making it very uncomfortable for two people.

The hotel is very comfortable, the room with Acropolis view, although not very big, is very well organized and perfectly clean. The bedding is perfect. The breakfast on the rooftop is fresh and very varied. The spa is top quality and I recommend having a massage. The staff in general is so kind and professional.

My family -9 of us stayed for the first time June 9-12. We travel quite frequently from the US and spent 18 years in London. This hotel and spa are simply amazing . The service is of the highest standard and Staff not only professional but like a friend The Location is perfect location with views of the Acropolis Rooms are ample and like new The restaurant on the roof facing the Acropolis close by is memorable. The food offering starting with an amazing Buffet breakfast and ending in our view with a Michelin quality dinner overlooking the Acropolis . Overall a wonderful experience for all.

We had a family of eleven in six rooms. It was a lot! And airline issues did not make it easy. But Niche staff were unfailingly welcoming, kind, attentive and helpful. Luggage storage was happily provided as were umbrellas when needed. Rooms were all attractive, comfortable and clean. The pillow menu is a big plus for fussy pillow people. The rooftop bar/restaurant has a fabulous view of the Acropolis. Breakfast had so many hot and cold choices, all good, that it was difficult to choose. Highly recommend.
