One of the poles of yhe glamping tent made a squeaking sound all night so pole needed oiling for a better sleep for everyone on a windy night.

Staff are friendly and approachable. the atmosphere of the place is very relaxed and we feel safe. being family of 5 and my kids love camping/glamping. the Foxton Beach Holiday has exceeded our expectation. my boys loves coming back. They keep calling the glamping tent the "GARLIC TENT" because of the exterior shape.😅

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Absolutely everything, spotless. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve slept in. That’s a lot of beds as we travel a lot. The gentleman behind the desk even put the electric blankets on before we arrived.
There is nothing I didn’t like. Apart from sand!

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Had our own breakfast, the area was beautiful, owner was very understanding welcoming and awesome Definitely would come back however the park needs some TLC as the green slide was very down fall as you slide right out although it was fun and thanks to the cleaning lady who had placed the pile of stuff at the end or else I would of had a very sore bum haha I’m glad I took my 1 year old down with me rather than herself but all in all loved it

The mattress on the top bunk was a little lumpy and the hinges/joints on the bed frame squeaked with any movement. But otherwise it was great!

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026A very last minute booking on the night we needed accommodation. Staff very helpful when I phoned to say we would be checking in close to 9pm. Excellent instructions provided to access park and cabin. Very appreciative of bath towels available - we had been expecting to stay in a motel, but date error made with that booking & all motels in area full. Park looks lovely - will be back one day to enjoy the full facilities.

Reviewed Dec 26, 2025It is such a good place, the shared spaces are great and clean such as the bathroom and the kitchen. We booked a cabin for the family just in case the weather turned and I'm glad we did, it could sleep 8 which great for our family of 6 and it had a kitchenette.
I'm slightly conflicted about the pricing we paid for a cabin that sleeps 8 and we ended up taking our nephew with us and we had to pay an extra $100 for him as well. Other than this slight confusion it was still a great place.
