There were.no.little butters to go with the little marmite and peanut butters. But that was very minor, the stay was great

Reviewed May 8, 2024I loved the set of the furniture and how our host catered to our stay. We also found treats in the queen room which was delightful! The fire was a beautiful experience and also the outside decking area.I would definitely recommend a stay here!
My only downside wasn't anything to do with the property itself but a smell that would come and go with the wind which i experienced whilst sitting on the deck. The smell was quite pungent and lingered for a while.

Reviewed Nov 5, 2022There were many things that set this property above others - the attached carport, the delicious muffins on arrival, 1 litre of real milk (not the usual small UHT carton with a straw), amazing selection of hot beverages, perfect layout of rooms to allow privacy within the house, and breathtaking quietness. The decor is warm and welcoming and the setting peaceful. Situated within a few minutes drive of Foxton Beach and Foxton township, this is the perfect property for the area. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Reviewed Oct 18, 2022Location is perfect and halfway towards town and the beach. Accommodate has everything that one could need with fire place, heat pump, washing facilities, etc. Owner left a nice welcoming muffins and small chocolate at the pillows of the beds ( nice touch).
Only negative comment is that we felt that we had a set of rules to obey from the owner. Felt regimented probably due to being on a septic system. Owner was really friendly but came across as inspecting the property in visiting occasions. No flexibility on check out and felt like we were under the microscope a little bit. Sorry but this is how we felt

It would be hard to fault this place. Besides the log fire I didn't notice any other form of heating in the living area, however I could be wrong.
