Reviewed Sep 6, 2026We had a wonderful stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed — everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Live music at the bar and Breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection to start the day. What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service from Conor. Late at night, my friend's daughter was hungry, and even though the kitchen was already closed, Conor went above and beyond — he and the chef put together sandwiches for us anyway. That kind of genuine care and willingness to help, especially outside of normal hours, made a real difference to our stay and is something we won't forget. Highly recommend this hotel, and a special thank you to Conor and the kitchen team for their kindness and excellent service.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent - staff were especially attentive, so everything on the buffet was replenished constantly so that nobody had to wait for anything. A second coffee machine would be good though. Dinner in the restaurant was very good as well. The fitness centre was compact but very well equipped and thoughtfully laid out. I used it every day and it was not too crowded. All the staff in the restaurant, the spa and reception were so friendly and helpful - we were made to feel very welcome.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026The hotel would be a good location to Sligo. Breakfast is good for €13 or if included in rate. Staff generally friendly.
Rooms, and particularly the bathrooms, need renovation. Decor in corridor and rooms is dated and dull. TV was not working in my room. Fittings were broken in bathroom and grout in shower area was marked. Water pressure not good in shower.

I did not enjoy the pizza in the bar restaurant. Suggestion would be not to serve pizza if it's not fresh made as the base world have needed a steak knife to cut through it. Quite tasteless and disappointing. The battered fished was tasty looking which my partner seemed to enjoy.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026My husband and I spent 3 nights in this lovely hotel and we had a most enjoyable time. The staff were very friendly and helpful from our checking in to us leaving to go home. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast very morning was very good with a choice of continental and hot food. We had a fabulous meal in the hotel on our 2nd night. The location of the hotel is about a 10 minute drive into Sligo. Very convenient. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a holiday.
Everything was perfect. If I was to chage anything, it would be to have a room closer to the lift in the hotel.
