Perfect location for the London to Brighton cycle ride—The staff provided excellent access information, making check-in straightforward. Storing my bike safely in the room upstairs was completely hassle-free, and the facilities were great. Highly recommended for cyclists.

Parking extremely limited, very tight spaces and little space to turn around. Had to pay for parking across the street. Even that was very limited; I got one of the last spaces. Suggest you don't drive there if that is an option or research and budget for alternative parking. Noise from room next door quite late at night then noise from room above early morning. The hotel would benefit from sound proofing.

Great location, bus stop just outside door, and bus runs very frequently. Staff were extremely helpful, and very friendly.

Breakfast was nice, more choice of fruit would have made it better.

Friendly welcome, a pleasant airy room with a sea view, armchairs, comfortable bed. Hotel is on the coast road but it's not too noisy as it's not in a busy tourist location. I will stay again.

It was right on the waterfront with a bus stop at the door. Restaurant and breakfast facilities. Lift was a bonus as we were on the 4th floor. 24hour check in.

Having stayed there in the past with my husband, I chose it again now I'm widowed. We used to drive down from Cheshire but I travelled down on the train to London and then from London to Brighton. The location is ideal as my daughter lives in Hove.

Shower head over bath wouldn't slide into position on bar and stay put. This made washing my hair awkward as I had to keep taking shower head off and using it manually.

The building looks a bit ordinary from outside but, once in, there is everything you need in the small space, including a bar, terrace, (Thai) restaurant, lift and staffed reception. We were allowed into our room early which was great. The location was ideal for an event we were going to on the front. Quieter than Brighton, the Hove seafront nonetheless has some nice, relaxed cafes and a restaurant or two. While no designer dream, the hotel fittings and decor were good quality and not old. The room was comfy, well-lit and furnished, bed comfortable and the bathroom spacious and well-appointed. There is a small car park round the back. The morning we were there, a race on the seafront road had closed the access to the hotel which would have prevented us from leaving. We were warned in advance through Booking and, when I called to ask about this and left a voice message, a nice lady from reception called me back (the first time that has happened in a while!). There is in fact on-street, app-charged parking all around, where the 2 hour max stated on notices does not appear to apply on the app ("Pay-by-phone"), so we were fine.

The continental breakfast was a little basic, especially the coffee and fruit juice, but the cooked (which we did not have) looked good. The window in our room was tagged so as to open only a few inches. The charging / power socket in the bathroom was really high up and the lead for a toothbrush did not reach a surface where it could stand. Bring your gadgets ready-charged!

Considering how hot it still is, early September, why on earth were the radiators on full blast in the bedroom when we arrived back late in the evening. Thankfully, my husbands a plumber and turned the valves off, but the room remained hot for several hours.

Hotel wird durch eine viel befahrene Straße vom Strand getrennt. Busstation direkt vor dem Hotel. , Grosse Baustelle am Strand. Minimal Ausstattung der Zimmer. Alles sehr einfach, mittelmäßiges Bett. Schlechtes Preis- Leistung Verhältnis. Zu teuer.

2.1 mile to pier so you need to be sufficiently mobile or take the 700 bus which stops outside the hotel & get off at Stein.

Breakfast was really good quality food and well cooked and everything laid out that you would need. Staff were attentive and polite. Information was assessable. Cleanliness was good Reception staff were helpful and polite. Everything flowed as in there was menu in room, being able to order food or drink. Dedicated phone for a taxi. The best was the restaurant Chilli and Mango, the best Thai food I've ever eaten and also the best and freshest food eaten in a hotel. The staff there was attentive and friendly . I didn't meet the chefs but what an asset to this hotel. The food was phenomenaly the best I have tasted and I am well travelled. So hats off to the chefs food and flavours were incredible And I am not easily pleased. I would definitely come back, and I generally never return to same hotel .

Convenient location and there is parking ( if a space is free)

Everything was good except the breakfast was limited if you just wanted a piece of toast or bowl of muesli- you had to pay for a buffet or full breakfast which if you don’t eat much is a waste of money.

Friendly hotel in a great area, Hove, almost directly at the beach. The rooms are large and homely, slightly old fashioned in a good way. The views are great from both front and rear facing rooms. The back rooms are quieter. Staff at reception and in the restaurant are brilliant. Friendly, efficient and fun. The restaurant, Thai, is very very good and also popular with non-guests. The 700 bus stops right outside the hotel. I had a lovely 5 day stay there, in my home city, everyone made me incredibly welcome! As long as I am without my own flat in Brighton, this is where I will stay when I'm in town.

The room was quiet and the bathroom was very large.

I paid £168 for 1 night for 1 person and I was 45 minutes walk from Brighton, it is very overpriced for the hotel type. The breakfast was average at best.

Excellent room with sea view. We were given free breakfast as the tv did not work, excellent breakfast.

Parking was not easy, narrow drive with no guarantee if a parking bay once in the parking area.

Spacious quiet room at the back of the building, with reasonably good blackout effect from the room curtains. My daughter and friend had an even more spacious twin at the front of the building with great uninterrupted views out onto the channel. Fans thoughtfully provided to help cool rooms in this unusually warm summer. Bathroom with good water flow in the shower. Clean throughout. Bijou car park at the rear of the building, tight access though for SUVs etc. (but as we had a small car this meant space was available to us). Very convenient for access to beach and Brighton City Centre. Bus stops directly outside the front for the frequent number 700 buses into and back out of Brighton city centre.

Access would have been tight round the side of the building for anybody arriving in an SUV or vehicle with long wheel base looking for parking space.

De kamer was zeer ruim en proper met een grote badkamer. Het bed was heel confortabel. We hadden zicht op zee dus dat was prima. De parking was volzet maar we mochten gratis vooraan op de oprit parkeren. Top.

Er was geen airco maar dat stoorde niet en we wisten het op voorhand. Een koelkast ontbrak en dat had wel nuttig geweest.

It was a pleasant but quite dated hotel. The breakfast was good and the staff in the restaurant were really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Let’s start with the car park, it is easy to be attracted to the ‘free car parking’ which comes with staying here. however, the car park is tiny and if you have anything bigger than a ford fiesta good luck getting it down the incredibly narrow entrance. I saw a couple of guests arriving who were clearly traumatised trying to park, finding there were no spaces and then having to reverse back out the tiny driveway. Location wise for absolute clarity this hotel is in Hove. We were visiting for our daughter’s uni graduation in Brighton so had to take a cab there and back as it wasn’t walkable in the heat wearing a suit. The hotel overall did feel quite old and in need of some TLC. If you are happy with something basic and a good breakfast it’s fine but don’t expect much more than that.

The road is busy and therefore noisy in sea facing bedrooms, it was ok with the windows closed.

L'hotel era pulito e la camera era molto spaziosa. Lo stile è piuttosto retrò e, considerato il prezzo, avrebbe bisogno di qualche intervento di rinnovamento. Non si trova nel centro di Brighton, ma proprio davanti all'ingresso dell'hotel c'è una fermata dell'autobus che permette di raggiungere il centro in circa 10 minuti. In alternativa, è possibile arrivare a Brighton con una splendida passeggiata sul lungomare di circa 30 minuti.

Think a very small double bed is not suitable for the rooms, need bigger beds and better pillows. Parking needs to be sorted out as doesn’t work.
