Location was excellent. Staff especially reception and housekeeping were very helpful. Beds were extremely comfortable and bathroom was big with all of the toiletries provided were really nice.

Imbalance in size of room to bathroom. Bathroom was very spacious and the room was small. No slip mat in the bath for showering. Breakfast was ok but hard pastries however tasty bacon and sausages. Would have been nice to have hot drinks served. Room was quite warm but a fan was provided quickly when requested which helped on the second night.

Good central location. Clean and comfy beds.

So central for everything. Staff were so friendly and the room was cleaned daily. The best view from the bay window it was lovely!!!!

You get what you pay for and this was adequate. The bed was rock hard and the 1 pillow uncomfortable. Do yourself a favour and skip Brighton altogether.

The property was average!!

I was given a basement room, which is no where in your website. It was my daughter's birthday and we didn't enjoy at all. Next day a lovely lady from reception did transfer us to the top floor, and thank you for the. But we almost finished our stay so it was not worth.

Bath needs to be changes perhaps to a shower.

the bed was too short i am 6ft 2inches and my feet hung over the end of the bed water pressure in the shower was low window cill spikes where missing and pigeons where sitting on the window ledge room 309 lift was very bumpy and slow could do with upgrading

It’s quite pricey We were prepared to pay £25 extra per night for parking But after checkout at 12 we requested to stay parked an additional 2 hours for us to get lunch before leaving the city (on a Wednesday and there was plenty of spaces in the car park) and I found it exaggerate to charge £7.50 This could have been waived and it would have been excellent customer service Having said that we’re likely to stay there again next time anyway

Reception staff very cheerful, pleasant and helpful. Bed comfortable and slept very well. Didn't take breakfast.

Didn't use full facilities, can only comment on room which was smaller than expected. Main complaint was bathroom, small, water pressure very poor which meant ineffective/useless shower, nasty exposed pipework next to washbasin showing corroded earth wire. Overall the common areas could do with some attention and a lick of paint.

We were told there was parking, not limited parking, checked in and told breakfast was 9am till 11am, went downstairs and found that breakfast started at 8am. Very disappointed.

Room was suitable for our stay, there was a fan we found which was a great extra. Beds were comfortable, clean and tidy. Location was excellent, right on the seafront, close to everything we needed. Staff were helpful when needed more tea,coffee supplies(big hot drinkers). Breakfast was good, buffet style cooked, plus continental aswell. Lovely views when sat in front windows. Would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately the bathroom smelled of smoke which we reported. Staff very apologetic, complementary breakfast given. As an old building the floors were bit uneven and squeaky, something you would expect from older building. Personal preference didn't like the full length mirror at the end of one of the beds, so had to cover with a towel each night. As said that was more a personal preference.

Look and feel of the hotel has gone down since i came a few years ago. Our twin room looked tired and boring with no 'homely' features. 3 star at best. Double room was overpriced. TV was on the wall in twin room was to the side so couldn't watch it. No air conditioning, Not enough hangars in the wardrobe. Breakfast was impersonal as had to serve ourselves (Buffet). Previously it was table service.

Staff were exceptionally friendly on the front desk, great experience there. Room was clean & facilities were ok. Bar area was comfortable. Breakfast was just ok.

Neighbours overhead were so loud, kept us awake for two nights. 1st night the smell of "weed" in the hallway to our room was overpowering, especially as it's a non smoking hotel & we're non smokers. That didn't stop a knock on our door one evening to inspect the silent smoke alarm in our room going off ! might need to add smoke alarms to the private staff rooms too 🤔 Hotel room was very warm & the windows were unable to be opened fully, the addition of a fan helped a little but overall an uncomfortable nighttime experience

We arrived on a hot summer day, and the rooms had no fans. After requesting one at reception, it was provided only by evening. In Room 118, the door lock was not working from the inside, though we assumed it was safe since it required a key card to open from outside. However, at 2:33 am, someone opened our door from outside. We saw light coming up to the room suddenly. We immediately jumped up and shouted, and the person released the handle and closed the door before we could reach it. As we were two women alone, this was extremely frightening. We did not open the door due to safety concerns. Only then did we realise there was no way to call reception from the room. There was no phone in the room to call the reception number. We stayed awake the entire night and went to reception at 7 am. This is an experience we have never had in any hotel. A phone or clear emergency contact information should be provided in every room. When we reported the incident, the staff member dismissed our concern, insisting it was not possible. They said we should have called the hotel’s number from our mobile, but no such information was provided in the room. Overall, it was a very distressing experience.

Personale molto gentile. Ho dovuto chiedere un cambio camera perché quella assegnata era inaccettabile nonostante l'importo pagato fosse ben più che standard. Richiesta accolta subito senza problemi.

Consistent shouting / banging between 5.30am and 6.30am every morning, though not sure if this was from guests or staff. Coming down for breakfast at around 9am there was a shortage of food and coffee, and this had to be requested from staff.

Room decor was very tired and generally dirty (unclean). needed a complete refurbishment. extremely noisy until 3 am from local beat music. road never stopped all night. breakfast was underwhelming and absolutely bare minimum to call it a breakfast. cereals - little choice. coffee was poor. staff just wandered around clearing up - not helping serving or explaining arrangements. would never stay here again.

We loved the location - on the seafront and near shops, restaurants, attractions. The staff were welcoming, courteous and professional. We had a comfortable bed and everything was impeccably clean throughout the hotel. A perfect stay :)

De ligging was mooi aan de boulevard. Het was een schoon hotel, helaas Wes de kamer wel aan de warme kant en geen airco. Maar dit wisten wij vooraf al. Kamer was schoon en badkamer was netjes.

Enige punt voor ons was de kamertemperatuur die aan de warme kant was. Voor de rest was alles prima

Non c'era il ventilatore e le finestre si potevano aprire solo 20 cm. Bagno con lavandino minuscolo nonostante ci fosse lo spazio per metterne uno più grande, quando ti lavi la faccia sbatti la testa sulla mensola di vetro. Colazione mediocre. Molto caro per quello che offre.

Die Lage direkt am Strand war super und auch der nahe gelegenen Parkplatz.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Man teilte uns zunächst ein Zimmer im Keller zu, bei dem die Duschkabine massive Schimmelspuren hatte und im Bad mehrere kleine Fliegen waren. Auf Rückfrage erhielten wir ein neues Zimmer, hier war das Bad sauber, jedoch die Badewannenverkleidung kaputt und der Boden, sowie die vorhandene Keramik war schief. Außerdem gab es keine Klimaanlage und man konnte die Fenster nur einen Spalt öffnen. Auch das Frühstück war recht spartanisch gehalten, hier befanden sich ebenfalls kleine Fliegen beim Buffet. Alles in Allem war das Hotel nur für seine Lage deutlich zu teuer!

Lift very slow , rooms very slow with no A/C

The staff here are absolutely wonderful, and the beautiful seaside view provided a deeply therapeutic and comforting escape while I was dealing with a family emergency.

Everything was very well organized and clean; I highly recommend it.

La stanza era ampia e molto confortevole. I nostri amici avevano una stanza piccola e non soddisfacente ma è subito stata cambiata per una più comoda e spaziosa, allo stesso prezzo.

Forse inserirei nella colazione del pane fresco.

The location, in front of the sea. The mattress was very good.

The room was on the first floor, really noise, because the windows weren't closing very well. At the same time, in the morming to enjoy the fresh sea breeze was impossible because there was a locker in each window. I asked to change for an upper floor, the staff said everyone had already checked in. I arrived at 5 pm. The toilet sink was too small, one had to bend over to brush the teeth or clean the face, and the bathroom has space enough for a proper one.

the room was clean and comfortable. I was only there for one night but I had no complaints. The view from the window was described as a "inner courtyard" or something similar which was laughable as it was a small area with a couple of bits of rubbish but it wasn't important to me; if I'd wanted a sea view I would have to have paid more.

As mentioned, the "view" was non-existent, but I didn't really mind as the room was good and good value.

Quirky rooms, v clean

Unfortunately, on the night I stayed there was a group in nearby rooms that were very audible talking until the early hours of the morning, I tried to block out the noise with the tv turned on but could not set the timer to switch off, so not a particularly good night’s rest.

La chambre était confortable et propre, un peu petit mais l'emplacement était très bien. Le petit déjeuner a changé depuis notre premier séjour, avec la modification du propriétaire. On sent qu'il y a des économies de faites par la nouvelle chaîne.

La mancanza dell’aria condizionata e l’impossibilità di aprire interamente le finestre ma solo un piccolo spazio di 10cm.
